Unfriendly staff. They dont explain how the breakfast works. Everyone is confused. It would be nice and more convenient if prepared ahead rather than ordering it as it takes times. No one at the reception area. You have to knock on employee door to give your order. Bathroom exhaust fan needs cleaning. Very dirty and loud.

The room was adaquate, bed was very comfortable. The Inn is a bit tired, stains on carpet in hallway, carpets dirty and not cleaned when soiled (3days). Maintanence could be better. Breakfast was ok, some days it was cold. Very slow, lack of cups and glasses, long wait to replenish. Staff was friendly. This could be a wonderful place. Needs a bit of upkeep.

Don’t know where the good reviews come from. We arrived nobody at check in. There is one lady available at 4 and she is the only one for that entire building for everything. She was really nice and willing to help. Got a king room which looked really nice online. Not clean, furniture that needs to go to the dump. Bed sheets with stains all over. Complaint and the receptionist changed the entire bedding after calling her boss if she is allowed to do it. Breakfast included is not eatable and the coffee tasted like three days old and warmed up. Stayed there two nights and went for breakfast somewhere else the second day. The property has a lot of potential but is totally neglected by the current owner it seems. The breakfast room again has good potential but is cold and unwelcoming. Carpets are dirty and stained and need to be replaced. Worst stay in any hotel for us in the past 20 years. Will never stay there again.

What a beautiful place to stay. Very inviting from the moment of walking into the Inn, to our room and the surrounding areas.

The only negative, from a very short person; the shower head head is 6 feet high. Fortunately, it can be a hand held, but you have to be tall enough to unhook it.

Sweet hotel but breakfast a big let down

Great massive comfy bed. Dining room and bathrooms are dated and shower controls difficult to work. Aircon great. The Inn is very sweet and we enjoyed sitting on our little terrace after dinner.
Biggest disappointment was the “English Breakfast”. We were there at 9.30 (plenty of time before it finished) no cups, no juice glasses, lukewarm coffee, no milk. Had to ask for all of these. Cooked breakfast just felt like the cheapest of ingredients ever. Tasted like everything (except the eggs) had been brought in pre cooked then microwaved. Very cheap bread too. The whole breakfast tasted awful! Such a let down as we really thought the hotel quite sweet.

Room was small, no bottled water provided and only a tiny bar of soap with 1 conditioning shampoo which left my hair feeling like straw. Check in person not very friendly. We needed a spoon for medication and there was no one around to ask. We could not get the TV to work and my husband is usually very good with that. Aside from that, it was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Then reviews on all websites are packed with phonyfive-star ratings, givng this mediocre-to-poor inn ratings higher than some of the finest lusury hotels in the world. The front desk is often deserted. Breakfast is mediocre at best, and staff is scarce. Broken TV in our room was never fixedm despite our complaint. Whoever bought this place has totally neghlected it, investing instead on bot services generating fake reviews. Can anything be done about this fraud and decpetive business practice?

At $300 per night (all-in with fees and taxes) it was ridiculously overpriced. Not worth the stay at all. Room was nice size, clean, and the bed was good. Bathroom was very small and shower was smaller. No space on the vanity for any personal items. TV was broken. There was no staff available at the desk during check-in hours (4 - 8 PM) to relay concerns to; just a phone number to call. The whole property was tired and in need of a refresh. Carpets dirty. Breakfast was very meagre, there was only a small 12 cup coffee machine which was always empty and very undersized for the number of guests the property holds. Not the fault of the property, but there was a party house across the street and loud partiers wwre outside on the patio past 3 AM.

Stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The staff were welcoming, the space was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Our room even had a fridge, which was super convenient. The AC worked well, and the location was great. They don’t clean the room or change sheets during your stay, but I already knew this from other reviews, so it wasn’t an issue. This was not what we expected. We were extremely disappointed. Flower beds full of weeds. Our room was more like a hostel and a hotel. The furniture was thrift store furniture. I went to open the drapes, and the curtain rod fell off the wall. There was only one electrical outlet that we could use. It was in the bathroom. There was a power bar behind the TV, but it was full to capacity.
The only good thing about that room the bed was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was a huge disappointment. I poured a cup of coffee and when I added milk, the milk had gone sour. The website shows waffles and what looks to be a buffet that is not the case.
The only staff we saw was the young man that check just said last night.
For the money we paid we were extremely disappointed. We will not stay there again. Apparently it has changed hands. As I have family members that stay two years ago and said it was lovely. It has gone downhill

Check in wasnt until 4pm. We were early. Two entrances, unclear where to wait for check in, told us to wait in one area but then the desk was around the corner and no one came around to let us know we could check in. Room was okay, not the cleanest but good enough. Bed was comfortable, TV was frustrating to use couldnt change channels. Came with free breakfast but not until 730. No coffee in the kitchen in the early morning, no coffee in the room. Would have been lovely to have a coffee on the porch. We knew we were early for a full breakfast but would have been nice to have some fruit or yogurt available for a grab and go breakfast. An okay stay, but the location and house could have made it great. Unfortunate, probably wouldnt stay there again.

We opened the front door to check in. The area rug was bunched up and a trip hazard. We walked to the desk, a lady was on her cell phone. She walked away, and a young lady came a bit later to check us in. Neither lady smiled.
The hallway carpet needed a good vacuuming. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The cable TV and air-conditioning were great!
Breakfast was late. 7:45 before coffee was available. The milk was soured. Our sausage was thawed links heated in the microwave. After 3 couples had coffee, it was all gone. No more coffee came out, some other guests went to Main Street to get their coffee.

It was okay overall but is lacking in some small & simple details to make it good. The staff were not well trained and lacked any customer service enthusiasm. Only required transaction interactions were done. Breakfast was the most disappointing as there was only a very limited option. We had to ask each day for silverware and for coffee pot to be refilled. Fresh eggs were good but toast was only generic bread and stale & cold. Some fresh fruit would be a nice touch to have available. Room was clean enough but the bed was quite soft and aged. Minor maintenance needed in some places.

We are early risers, we brought coffee grounds as the pictures showed coffee pot in the room, none to be seen, went down at 6:00 no coffee available and no one around, same at 7:00. At 7:15 we went up town to buy a coffee and a scone. Back by 8:00 finally a coffee available and the advertised breakfast. There were no signs giving times and none was offered at check in.

CONS: Cute property but do NOT show up before 4:00pm as the door is locked until 4:00pm. Then someone opens it and there’s now a lineup of ppl waiting to check in. Breakfast is taken by order and options are ok but food was not cooked well. Tough to communicate with staff as most don’t speak English.

PROS : Nice rooms. Area is super cute. Park across the street. Rooms are clean and bedding is high end. Wrap around balcony allows you to leave your room and sit outside.

All in all it was good but probably wouldn’t choose it again considering the price ($230CAD for a dbl queen).
