This property is very tired, desperately in need of refurbishment. When it rains the water pours under the back door, creating a big puddle in the middle of yhe lounge area. There are insufficient electrical sockets, especially for the kitchen appliances. No workspace in kitchen as all is taken up with microwave with toaster on top and kettle and coffee perculator at the side.
Unable to open both front patio doors as one qas jammed solid. You must always have your key on you as no external handle on the outside making it impossible to get in without key if the door closes in the wind.
Appearance of the property overall is very tired, the staff will answer any questions, though that is a very minimal response. Overall customer service skills are limited.
The pools are cleaned daily but these too are very old and tired.
After a week here there is no way we would stay here again, nor recommend it to anybody. Overall was a very disappointing stay at this property.

We had a great stay, the bungalow has everything you need, it gets cleaned almost every day, great location, super close to the beautifull flamingo beach at 5 minutes walk maximum. One of the 3 pools pools was heated, plus they have billiards and mini golf in the complex and the kids loved it. We would definitely stay again.

Very poor experience. Within one hour of arrival my wife had a fall due to inadequate lighting around the bungalows and what I consider to be very dangerous steps — in my opinion a serious health and safety issue. There was no follow-up from reception regarding my wife’s condition, which was extremely disappointing. Emails sent afterwards were also ignored. Overall, very poor communication and a lack of concern for guest safety

This is our second time at the Limones, and again it surpassed expectations. The place is immaculate, housekeeping is exceptionally good and attentive. What it offers is a wonderful base in tranquil surroundings. You have so much space and it’s such a peaceful environment. We have absolutely no complaints and cannot wait to book again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Staff I encountered were friendly. Bungalow had everything I needed, yes dated but felt private with a nice terrace. Was clean and the bed was comfy enough. Good value for money, nice and quiet. Cheap and cheerful, would definitely return. Good location too, only a short walk to beach.

The bungalows are quite pretty but the decoration is kind of old. They are clean and spacious. The bedroom is a liitle small but has a great waredrob. It said on the app I booked that they had breakfast for 6 euros but it was 12 euros and the restaurant was closed, only the snack bar was opened. That was really disappointing! Across the street from nice beach. Free parking.

The Property is in a quiet location but taxis can be got easily, and there are quite a few shops, bars and restaurants within walking distances. However, we were advised our room would be cleaned daily during the stay - there was never a cleaner. Ants were taking over and the place was not clean. The pool was empty - we didnt see one person using the pool during our stay at all - it looked dirty overall so could understand why and we didn't use it either! No air con which made it a very uncomfortable stay and rooms are very dated. One of the cupboards in our kitchen was taped together and there was no shelving unit in the fridge (which was also unclean) staff were friendly enough and happy to call a taxi but we were refused purchase of water as we had no cash and weren't allowed to pay by card. We wouldn't return!

Great value perfect location

Fantastic location great local area flamingo beach is perfect! The bungalows are great a little dated but ok very clean but the lack of aircon is hard, but we knew this wrote coming and the price reflects this. The pools no one hardly used so that was great just wish one was a little shallower like 1/1.2m so the kids could play easier. Man on bar was really friendly.

Convenient base to stay at with safe parking.
Beds are comfortable but the bungalow could do with a thorough clean ( table and chairs are clammy, old vomit staining the tiles behind the bathroom door ), the back door doesn't lock and lots of cracked tiles on the veranda.
The receptionist would benefit from a hospitality course but the bar staff and the staff around the grounds are very friendly.

I was really pleased with our bungalow ok the furniture is not modern I would say Canarian but everything thing surpassed our expectations we had our own sun deck a back door leading to a drying area could even sit in sun there to English tv channels cooking facilities shower was fab and hot

It is an older property, so you will notice that. The beds are not the newest, nor the swimming pool. However, it is still a great value for the price. There is a lot of space and the cleaning lady was very friendly, as were the cafe staff. Safe, 3 mins walk from one of the beaches, and nice lounge chairs on the private patios.

Was all we needed for a 3 night stay, property is a bit dated but that didn’t matter. We had a nice patio area with sun beds, chairs and a table which was partly undercover so you could avoid the sun whilst eating. It’s a short walk to flamingo beach and about 10-15mins to the main town. If you’re looking for somewhere that has all the basic amenities and you’re not bothered about it looking dated, then it’s the perfect choice. We will definitely be returning for a week at some point.

Perfect choice (for me)

This was perfect for me. In a quiet part of Playa Blanca but still within walking distance to the main shops and restaurants. I think I munch preferred to be here than in one of the fancy hotels. It was really just a base for me but the area was beautiful and relaxing. I did not use the pools or cafe/bar. I would definitely choose this again.

Good location close to flamingo beach. Several restaurants close by and and a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. Bungalow was clean but the general decor looked tired and would benefit from a refurb. Nice patio area with table and sun loungers. Only crockery and cutlery for 3 people which makes it difficult to invite people round for food or drinks.

We were very happy with the property and would definitely return. The value for money was incredible, location was perfect, staff very friendly, lovely communal pool area, everything was clean with plenty of self catering equipment. Yes, inside the bungalow was basic and dated and could use a refurbishment but the accommodation was half the price of anything else we found and for the price, we were pleasantly surprised how good it was. If you want cheap holiday self catering accommodation, I would recommend Bungalows Playa Limones.

Excellent value for money. Spacious and well equipped. Close to flamingo beach which has dining options and supermarkets. Bus stop nearby although reception staff will phone for taxis which cost about €3.50 into town centre. We found the reception staff happy to help. They also sell water on reception which saves carrying a heavy bottle. The pool bar does a great cocktail and the barman was lovely. We only stayed 3 nights and were offered the maid service on two days. The WiFi was very good but the tv only had news channel in English. The pool area was clean and one pool was heated although the pools were too deep for us. Would recommend to those wishing a budget break.

We booked for 2 nights on route to a stay elsewhere in PB.
We had previously stated here with our kids 15 years ago. If you’re looking for a cheap basic week this is it. The staff a lovely, the grounds and pool very tidy but the accommodation had not changed in 15 years!! Some decent money needs to be spent refurbishing and bringing the tired, scruffy rooms up to date.

Absolutely perfect!

Spent a wonderful 20 days at Bungalows Playa Limones, mostly as a solo traveller, apart from a few days when family visited. Having stayed at 4 different complexes while travelling throughout Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, this was my favourite. The Receptionist (Nacho) was so friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very comfortable, nice and quiet, with a cleaning service 5 times a week. I loved the way that they had 3 separate recycle bins in kitchen area. Very large verandah area with lovely comfortable loungers. Delighted that they had a heated pool (as my stay was January/February and a Library so no need to bring books. Perfect Flamingo Beach was just across the road with beautiful Tavernas. I will definitely be back. Friends have already booked on my recommendation. Thank you Nacho and Playa Limones!

But saying that there was a little bar next door run by a very welcoming German lady who made our group very welcome

Great stay in a great place

It was a short but overall a good stay. We enjoyed the location, being so close to the main beach of Playa Blanca, the place itself being very accommodating and clean. We were comfortable and would recommend this place to others.
Our highlight was the helpfulness and dedication to our comfort of the staff. We discovered ants in our apartment late in the night and they went out of their way to help us relocate and ensure that the old apartment was purged of any ants. It was late in the night, so we appreciated this dedication and attention:))

Easy Check-in, check-out with friendly (multi-lingual) staff. The grounds and pools appear very well maintained. And although the bungalows are clean and tidy some of the fittings and furnishings are showing their age. In the kitchen area - especially the hob! The shower in our bathroom, although powerful and adjustable looked like it had maintained by an odd job man, not a plumber. The beds and mattresses were in good condition and comfortable. Opening doors and windows ensured we were never uncomfortably hot (There are no fans) but in the height of summer?
But to be fair, the value for money is excellent. If you can look passed the cosmetic failings its a brilliant set up in a wonderful location. We've returned after the Covid break and would do it all again as its definitely getting better.

Location is fine and property is basic but OK. Wardrobe door did not have a catch on it so swung open by itself. Walked into it in the night which caused an injury. Screws from the bottom hinge came out. Strangely, the management did not believe this and wanted a 500 euros penalty for the damaged door (i.e. putting screws back!). The alternative was to leave immediately so with this attitude we left and moved to far more accommodating accommodation.

Positives excellent free Wi Fi, very comfortable bed, very close to Flamingo beach which is fabulous with a selection of restaurants and cafes, lovely heated pool though wish it was the bigger one, patio was a real sun trap where you could escape the wind and was very private as not pool facing, all the equipment we needed such as a kettle and microwave and hob, good free parking that was barrier controlled so safe, close to supermarket problem with shower rectified immediately by maintenance man that we approached, cleaners very good and sheets were fine and changed regularly which was lovely
Good wardrobe with lots of hangers and safe available at a cost
Negatives- soundproofing ( our neighbour coughed loads which felt like he was in our room, tape covering defects in kitchen very unhygienic and in the bathroom not good but plenty of space in bathroom to store things, bring your own hairdryer, towels poor

The location of the property was very good.It is very near a lovely beach and a 15 minute walk into the centre of Plays Blanca.
The accommodation is in need of a refurbishment, the furniture and fixtures and fittings are very dated. However the beds were very comfortable and the outside space was good.
The staff are great, they are very helpful and friendly.
It is a shame about the condition of the apartments, it didn't spoil our holiday but it would have enhanced it if the accommodation had been better.

The location was brilliant, the beach was 150yds across the road, a bus stop for the local no.30 bus 50 yds away. There is a well stocked Spar supermarket with fresh bakery about 800yds down the road and beyond that another 500yds to a bus stop served by buses to the airport and the rest of the island.
The Bungalows themselves were fine, as we were out most of the time, but maintenance wise, were patched up and needed more love. From the looks of it, no23 had been given that love, but it had not stretched to any of the others. The cleaning staff are jolly and pop in to make your beds and wipe the floor, but they do not do any washing up, which is fine but there is no soap or cloths so that you can do it yourself.
Do not bother booking any meals to be included in your stay. Sadly, breakfast is appalling. They have a proper coffee machine, but breakfast coffee comes from an instant machine and tastes disgusting, no cereals, you are lucky if there is any bread, they do not cater for dietary's. They may reluctantly cook you an omelette on a hotplate, but it tends to come out half raw. The breakfast staff appear as if they would rather be anywhere else. After three days, we went elsewhere! Basically save your money and go to to the cafe at the beach or cook it yourself. Although I can recommend an new cafe in town called Aroma. We only booked b&b but other guests advised that the other meals were not much better. I would stay again, but for bed only.

The property is in a good location close to the beach and amenities but the bungalows need updating, I know money is tight after covid and I hope they do it in the future as it is in a good location, if we go there again we will go self catering as the breakfast is the worst we have had in years.

As per other reviews the complex is in a great location but in need of upgrading. Kitchen unit doors would not close and kitchen unit covered in white tape. Tiles on floor and in shower room cracked. TV only had one English channel which was french new channel.The sun longers had no mattress so were un comfortable. The room 21 had no shade from the sun.
However rooms large and twin beds comfortable. We did not try eating there as other guests warned us that food was only adequate and better to eat off site.
Staff were friendly and cleaners in 5 out of 7 days did excellent to keep place clean.
For the cost of staying compared to others it was reasonable value but until they upgrade we wouldnt stay again

Bungalows very dated and in need of modernisation. Furniture on terrace very dirty, have to pay for cushions for sunbeds on terrace, pool area clean and lots of sunbeds, however pool all one depth, 1.70 mtrs, so for those not too good at swimming it's a no go, unless you use the kids pool. Our fridge had a broken seal, exchanged for a slightly newer one after informing reception. The hairdryer was like something out of the ark.
If you are looking for something cheap, in a great location and a place to rest you head then I suppose it's ok. Would be stay here again? no.

Fantastic value for money - great staff - all good

The Bugalow’s are a little tired but, with what’s happened over the last few years it’s no surprise unfortunately.
I stayed here for 2 weeks while getting some work done on my laptop & it was perfect for me. The Villas are clean, spacious & nicely situated for all the attractions of PB. The staff & cleaners are very helpful too. I give Limones full marks for value for money & fully recommend to any holiday makers looking for a good deal. Great holiday at Bungalows Playa Limones, just two minutes walk from Flamingo Beach (the best beach in Playa Blanca - in my opinion), and a 10 minute stroll into the main town area. A handful of restaurants by Flamingo Beach, but the majority of the restaurants are in the main town. The accommodation was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and cleaning offered four times a week. Bedding changed once a week and clean towels on request. Beds were comfortable and a hot shower was always available. Pool area and grounds were spotless. Yes, you could say the bungalows could do with a spruce up, however if you want five star accommodation you have to pay five star prices.

Sweet little bungalows. A bit tired but great value for money. Nice pool and near to some good restaurants and a nice beach. A bit of a walk to the main playa blanca town but you don't need to go there every day as you have restaurants and a supermarket nearer. Would highly recommend going to the main beach in playa blanca though and having dinner at the rubicon marina. The only downside to the hotel is the restaurant. The food is inedible!! Don't eat there!!

Well equipt little bungalow. It had a good out door area with sun loungers as well as a table and chairs. To the back was a small courtyard where washing could be hung to dry out the way.

The overall feeling was of relaxation. The cleaning lady was particularly pleasant and very efficient. The kitchen unit would do with an update but otherwise the bungalow was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here and will come back.

Ignore all the petty negative comments about this place- 5* it isn’t but you’re not paying for that. Yes the bungalows could be updated but they’re clean, beds are comfortable and complex is relaxing and quiet. You’re only 5 mins walk from the beautiful Playa Flamingo beach and a handful of lovely restaurants that look out over the bay.
Last came here 17 years ago- it hasn’t changed in that time.....absolutely love it!

Quiet and comfortable

Quiet area, beach just in front, heated pool, located perfectly for a walk to foro or Papagayo. Bungalow has everything you need incl equiped kitchen.
Reception a bit clueless about what and when and how to visit to make the most of your time there.

We enjoyed the quiet pools and sun bathing area (great that one of the outdoor pools is heated). The grounds and gardens are attractive and the property is close to the port, a beach and the town.
We have stayed here twice before and had no problems with noise at night but this time we were disturbed late at night several times by people at the bar on the site. This rowdiness went on well after midnight and as late as 3 am.

Bungalow was clean and well serviced.
Fantastic to have a patio/terrace with table and chairs but even better sunloungers, so you don’t have to go to pool area if you don’t want too.
Out main gate across road and down a little bit of a hill and your at the beach 😁👍

I only booked this for our last day as somewhere to get changed and shower. There is no air con in the bungalows and they are a bit dated. The rooms are clean. I had asked for an early check in, when we arrived I was told it was not possible.

Quiet and good value

Rooms are basic, clean and well proportioned. For Lanzarote they are of a good standard.
Pool area is large always has loungers available. Pools are of a good size, however they are just to deep, would be better if they were just 20cms shallower.

Bungelows very spacious and lovely and clean with comfy beds and pillows. The public areas were very well kept and a life guard on duty at the pool. great location for short walk into town. would highly recommend.

Quiet and relaxing site only a few minutes walk from beach. Lovely gardens which are well kept and all bungalows have large patios with 2 sun beds as well as table and chairs. Bungalows are a bit dated but maintenance staff work hard to try keep everything repaired and working.
The pools would benefit from being more accessible to those with physical disability.

Excellent location and friendly staff

We were really happy with our stay. The apartments are spacious, bright and have large terraces with a good level of privacy. Although some reviews stated Wi-fi was poor we found it to be absolutely fine where we were.
Check in was quick and staff are both friendly and happy to help.
The apartments are in an excellent location with many good restaurants nearby.
I would most certainly return.

Great central location. Easy check in. Helpful staff and very pleasant. No problems whilst on site. The beds are a little uncomfortable, some aching backs in the morning, but we keep going back. 5 stays here, so you can cope with it.

Just what we needed!

We love Playa Blanca and have been a few times before but it was our first time staying at this end of the resort. It was a great location for us, close to the beach and a nice walk into the town. The bungalows themselves were clean, the beds were comfy and the patio was really spacious. The pool was great to cool down and never very busy so there was always a sun bed. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Quiet site but very close to beaches 2 minute walk. Accommodation very clean and comfy beds. TV had very few English speaking channels and no BBC1 & 2 and no ITV. No a/c or fans so quite warm at night.

Very dated bungalow. Fridge door broken, cutlery and utensils not very clean .
Lady at the Reception not helpful and very abrupt!
Check in states on line ( 3pm)
Not according to her- check in is anywhere between 1-5pm?
Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems ( toilets at the poolside are situated down quite a number of steps.
Reception not open 24 hrs .
Saying all that .
You get what you pay for, a very low budget apartment situated near the shops and beach front .
Been to Playa Blanca 9 times now but wouldn’t stay at Playa Limones again .
Worth paying a bit extra for something more suitable and comfortable.

Great Location, nice bungalows, ok food.

Went half board, didn't enjoy the dinner, ended up having outside in the local restaurants. best to do bnb or self catering, although don't know if Peak season the dinner might be better.

the Bungalows were spacious, could do with an update to the kitchen though.
has a nice poolside, nice staff, conveniently located , close to Flamingo beach (3 min walk) , local shop (SPAR) nearby, 10-15 min stroll to the town.

Bungalows Playa Limones was good for what I needed. Yes it is dated and basic but it had a kettle, microwave fridge and two hobs for cooking on. We even managed to work out how to get English Language programmes on the tv. Nice quiet with pool and location was excellent for lovely beach shops and buses. Staff helpful

Nice size bungalow with patio.Pleasant well cared for site Beds were awfull foam type mattress. Pools needs heating. No British tv channels. More frequent room cleaning needed. Great position in town.

Very old and in bad condition

The towers were very old. And the shower was broke and with oxidation.
It was raining and in the following day the kitchen was a swimming pool and reception provided towers to put on the floor.

Horrible place.
