Food is so good ignore all the bad reviews we were super impressed, cocktails and premium brand drinks on the All inclusive were the best we have had, staff all super friendly, I had 2 massages whilst there & they were booth amazing. Hotel in great location. Benefits has outdoor heated pool. Room we stayed in was dated, some areas of the hotel needs improvement, and as we could see hotel is in the progress of renovation. Food was decent, but not the best. Overall would give 4 star.

Overall a good holiday! Good points: weather was good, hotel was clean and tidy, enjoyed the mini golf on site. Points to improve on: food could improve, too many cold dishes, pool very cold, the decor of the hotel is looking tired and cold do with an update. Entertainment team we’re too young and could do with some older supervision.

A little tired in places but nothing you wouldn't expect from an all inc hotel.

Evening buffet needs improving but I still found something to eat - It's just a bit chaotic with everyone racing to fill their plates and the queueing. Staff cope well with replenishing things, but if they miss something, you just need to ask and they'll get a fresh dish. Obviously not the same dining experience compared to eating out at a restaurant.

Rooms are well decorated, I was on the ground floor and was worried about ants after reading other reviews but we didn't see one in the room all week. Air con is to be desired, we couldn't get it as cold as we liked so resorted to turning the ceiling fan up to 6 (full blast) to get the air moving.. But still could have been cooler. It looks like an old system.

Pool area was good - We always found a sunbed, but the later you arrive to the pool, the less chance you have of getting a sunbed with an umbrella. The pool itself was great - Lots of areas at different depths so you can choose to sit, lie, stand or swim. The temperature changed depending on how much sun there had been. On the cloudier days it was freezing but \"it's okay once you're in!\"

Entertainment was... there. The acts weren't go our tastes so we usually gave up after the first 15 mins. Some people said they enjoyed it, others thought it was dire. It very much depends on your expectations! E.g. The Opera act is definitely not Opera!

Excellent Family holiday with three young children under 7. Two parents and two grandparents.
The most memorable times where breakfast and dinner, with all 7 of us seated together eating together.

Great swimming pool play area designed for young children with galleon and simple water slide.
Daisy club activities for young children
Great Heated pool, one adult to supervise one child.
Evening entertainment for young children was good.
Evening entertainment for Adults was very good

Great hotel but avoid the restaurant

A lovely hotel with great facilities and bedrooms, the only thing letting it down was the restaurant. Only stayed one night but the quantity, quality and variety of the food was poor. Difficulty in finding plates and extra cutlery and food was not topped up in a timely manner. Pity as in all other aspects the hotel was great. Poorest food we’ve ever had in H10 hotels or indeed in any other 4* hotels.

The H10 Lanzarote Princess was a great find for our budget. It was conveniently situated near to shops, play parks and playas blanca and dorada.
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially on reception and cleaning teams.
The outdoor pools were varied and fun, though the water was very cold even though the weather was lovely and warm when we were there. The indoor pool was warmer but sadly was too deep for younger children and non swimmers.
There were a variety of outdoor activities and facilities we could take part in for free such as table tennis, crazy golf, basketball and giant chess. There was also a little amusement arcade, air hockey and pool table.
There is a play park on site for younger ones.
The breakfast selection was plentiful and tasty. We went half board and managed to all eat our fill at the evening buffet too, however, the choice was limited for our children. There is a small savoury vegetarian section, but it would have been nice to see 'vegetarian friendly' signs on other foods in the restaurant, such as puddings.
There were a couple of extra costs that we had been made aware of before we travelled, from reading other people's reviews - you pay to use the room safe, and pay for any drinks including water at evening meal (I believe this may be different if you are all inclusive).
All in all a fantastic stay, and we would definitely book again in going to Lanzarote. Thank you to everyone in the Lanzarote Princess!

The hotel was very clean and tidy , the pool area was immaculate and we were advised it only opened a week before we arrived so was brand new. Really good that there was an indoor pool for smaller kids which as warm as the outdoor pool was a bit cold in February but ok once you started swimming. Always managed to get a sunbed in February half term and pool area was not that crowded. Choice of food in the restaurant was great . The only slight negative about the hotel was the the corridors to the rooms were plain white , a bit institutionalized. Could do with some colour and warmer lighting. The hotels usually had some entertainment in the evening which we occasionally visited . Loved the magic act and Mongolian acrobats. Outside the hotel there was easy access to supermarkets and shops and the local beach. Always plenty of parking.

We had a fantastic stay at the lanzarote princess. Everything was kept extremely clean and everything easily accessible with our 2 children (3 and 18 months). The heated pool was a godsend as the main pool was still very cold! The only downside was the “dress code” in the restaurant where men are not allowed to wear shorts. I would understand no sportswear but to say no shorts at all seems odd in a warm climate and also in a restaurant which isn’t high end! Apart from that everything was great!

Excellent 4* hotel I’ve stayed in worse 5*. Really made an effort at H10 to up their game. Upgraded to AI at check in good value if you like a couple of drinks. My only criticism is the pool bar and snack bar mainly only have 1 member of staff. Not enough at busy times and feel sorry for the staff member as they are literally run off their feet. Other than that would 100% recommend and I’ve stayed in 90% of the hotels in Playa Blanca.

The service was appalling. I never review hotels and I’ve never left a hotel before but we didn’t even stay 1 night and got a refund and left. They were so rude it was shocking. Our shower or air con didn’t work in our room - surely something that would always be checked before checking someone in, apparently not. They refused to put us in a new room until gone 9pm when the maintenance admitted defeat and said it couldn’t be fixed. At which point we were told to wait another couple of hours for them to clean a new room for us which we had been asking them to do for hours. No apology not even once. Just patronising and rude. I would never stay here again for free let alone give them any of my money. It was the worst experience I have EVER had at a hotel. We moved to a different hotel and had the best holiday with the most amazing staff and facilities and a working shower! The pictures make this hotel look a lot better than what it does. Very old and run down and the staff just don’t want to be there and don’t care about the guests stay at all. Terrible place. Please don’t do it to yourselves, you will regret it, like we did.

Overall Location is very convenient - just across the road from Dorada beach. Lots of restaurants just down the road. Entertainment was not on every night but was good on the nights we had it. Food was average and I am happy I didn't go all inclusive as we spent a lot of time at the beach where you can buy drinks cheap anyway. Staff in reception were never cheerful - specially the lady and gent manning the desk at night. I had lost an H10 promo voucher and asked if it could be replaced and they were so rude.

The heated indoor pool was a massive plus point for this hotel as the mains pools, although lovely, were freezing so our son couldn’t spend long in them. The indoor pool meant that we could spend a good amount of time swimming each day.

The staff were all great - very friendly & helpful - especially the kids animation team. The welcome drink was a really nice touch.

The family room we had was ok - it could do with updating & a separate room rather than the curtain would have been preferable.

The buffet breakfast & dinner were also ok. The breakfast - all the usual choice & also a nice touch to have cava available for those that wanted to have some. The toasters need to be replaced - about 10 minutes to toast the bread which then ends up hard. They also need little milk jugs for the tea & coffee rather than just a couple of larger jugs meaning you need to keep going up & down for milk.
The evening meal - quality & choice was a bit hit & miss. Some nights were good whereas others were quite poor. Plenty of choice in respect of fresh bread, fruit, ice cream, deserts & sweets for the kids. Worth also noting that men must wear long trousers to dinner in low season.

Location was perfect - literally a few minutes walk to the beach & short walks to Playa Blanca & Playa Dorada marina.

Nice pools, including well heated indoor pool.

Was not too happy with evening bar service in Vintage bar. Waiters got orders wrong on more than one occasion and the insistence of producing room cards to prove ID. On occasions was challenged for my signature again. One waiter in particular was unfriendly in relation to ID. Cannot remember his name, but very off putting when he served us on several evenings.

Disappointed with swimming pools and SPA facilitir

Large comfortable hotel with good customer service. However, we were very disappointed with the swimming pools and very unhappy to find out there was no steam room or jacuzzi. The main pool which is used in all their marketing materials is literally unusable as the water is kept at an ice cold temperature. The slightly heated indoor pool was too small for the size of hotel - only about 10-12 meters long and It was largely used for families and their toddlers.

it had a bad beginning from the not very welcome check-in were I did not get offered the welcome bubbly glass that I had to ask for, to my key room that because I did an early check-in at 10 am when I got in the hotel and they told me my room was getting cleaned and in the mean time I could have done some hotel activities at 11am and 12pm to get myself busy while waiting but no one told me and when I went back at 1 asking if the key was ready no one was really looking available to assist me and when after the massage I had I went back to ask for the luggage beside the very polite man who took my luggage no one was looking keen to assist me and when I went in to my room I found out the glasses dirty, the bathroom and floor of my room was not clean so I was really disappoited from this at the beginning but after I went to report this to the recepetion and had to go twice to say that the glasses were still dirty and had to bring it myself and the day after I found finally the kind guest relations manager Ludovica that took finally care of me and the situation and gave me instead of one of my hb dinner gave me a japanese restaurant dinner. It was also my birthday and I was travelling alone so I was very disappointed of the choice and finally my birthday afternoon I found the champagne in my room thanks to her and the cleaner lady that was in the morning there finally took care of my room and was always careful to give me what I needed. In the end turned up fine thanks to Ludo.

Excellent hotel and the indoor pool a real bonus. Not keen on allocated room which was a long distance from hotel facilities, Received much help from hotel reception after booked/paid for Urbis shuttle failed to meet us at Arrecife Airport and we had to travel by taxi (50 Euros). We need some help in reclaiming money from Urbis. They offered feeble excuses for their no-show which cost us over an hour message about at airport searching for them.Suggest you do nt in future recommend them as you did to us.

Very convenient for Dorada beach and restaurants and shops. Lovely hotel. Food good and varied in buffet restaurant. Restaurant very understaffed, with our dirty plates pileing up on our table on most occassions to the point where we had to remove them ourselves. Some of The staff worked very hard whereas others did not seem to do the same.Beds quite firm although did give excellent toppers on request. Very good and large sunbathing area although did get the wind when we were there. All in all would return, but need to make improvements in restaurant staff

Loved the vibe, the pool area and the activities for kids. But as a coeliac with a dairy free toddler the restaurant was a nightmare. No signs highlighting allergens. Very little staff to assist with basic things like having gluten free toast in the morning. When I asked about this they said they preferred to have the chef walk you around the buffet each night and show you what you can eat, this was humiliating.

Stayed from 2nd to the 9th of May in room 2097,this is a very large hotel that offers from bed and breakfast to all inclusive.
Staff were very efficient at check in and quick.
Room was a great size with a good size balcony overlooking the children`s pool saying that it was not noisy at all.
as we were staying in a superior room we had a free safe provided .
Rooms all benefited from a small fridge to keep those important drinks cool.
Air con is centrally controlled although you can make supposedly adjustments i found that in fact it does not control below a certain temperature that is programmed by the hotel so found it inadequate and on a really hot summer day, may not be effective during the hot summer months.
Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels if required.
Found it strange that on our arrival despite all the usual toiletries that their was no soap as we had brought our own we did not ask and thought it was an oversight and would be addressed the following day but it wasn`t , we did however get some on our last day,found that amusing.
Breakfast had a fantastic selection of food and could not fault that ,the breakfast area is massive and gets very noisy.
Drinks are very reasonably priced with purchased charged against your room and payment when checking out.
Entertainment was poor though thought it was red buzzer acts from Britain`s got Talent.

We stayed with two other families for the week and while the hotel is still OK, we had issues with noise between rooms, especially from a group of younger lads staying in the room next to us. Unfortunately after complaining three times to reception, the hotel did nothing about it. We explained to reception that there was loud dance music coming from the room next to us and that they also commented inappropriately to my wife – yet the hotel did nothing to move us or, move them on. If appropriate steps had been taken then our holiday would have been significantly improved – but the response (none) and action (none) taken by the hotel has been very disappointing. We booked a family room, anticipating that it would be calm and appropriate, unfortunately this was not the case and therefore would not recommend this hotel for families.

OK but ...

Our fourth holiday in Lanzarote and our second stay at H10 Princess. It will probably be our last ... The food is fine, the staff are friendly and helpful. and the hotel's well located for the town and beaches. But there are some buts. We had a good room with an enormous sea-view balcony with luxury sun bed, overlooking the Yaiza hotel. It should have been perfect; it wasn't. Unfortunately it was directly in line with the Papagayo night club where the music started at midnight and continued until 3.00am on the first night and 6.00 am the second. Even ear plugs couldn't block the noise completely. If you book here you really need to ask for a room where this club can't be heard - which could be quite a challenge ... And whilst there's nothing else majorly wrong the decor really is starting to look a bit jaded and tired. It could do with a makeover/refresh/call it what you will. We'll be back again next year but will use a different hotel.

We enjoyed a lovely surprise upgrade from the hotel, of a room with fabulous balcony and enormous sun divan. Thank you Lanzarote Princess .
Great hotel with facilities for all ages. Close to beach, town restaurants and harbour. Great covered warm pool and pretty garden/pool area with plenty of spread-out sun beds.

Prior to going we contacted hotel to ask for a top floor quiet room, when we checked in we were given a first floor room next to the lift! We have had noise problems in this hotel before, so we asked to change rooms and were told to come back in a couple of days and they would see what was available. We did not go back because why should we spend our holiday packing moving and repacking again. Please note there is a very late 2/3 am disco across the road which can be heard in the rooms. This hotel is in needs to be fully refurbished in the very near future

Disappointing experience overall, looks more like a 2* hotel to be honest. Breakfast is awful but people seem to care more about quantity than quality anyway there. Never get a refill for soap, shower gel or shampoo in 3 days. You also need to pay extra if you want your pool towel changed... classic 2* experience. Rooms are clean an comfortable but that’s the only positive aspect.

Always a lovely hotel in which to stay, but looking a little rough around the edges. Carpet in corridors are stained with bleach and some of the marble flooring needs replacing. Had a great holiday though.

Great Location. Nice staff

Kids entertainment was great, staff was super nice plus great location. For a 4 star hotel it was dirty we complaint twice about cleaning service during our stay. Limited drinks at the pool they run out of some ingredients twice during our stay. Food was good but cleanness of the overall place was not great that is including kinda pool for that reason not sure if deserved 4 star

Hotel which ticks most boxes

The Lanzarote Princess scores well in just about every aspect of facility
In particular, the enclosed heated pool, set in a sun deck is especially attractive.
Another really great thing is the STAFF!
Domestic, bar, restaurant, poolside or front desk never fail to surprise with their friendliness and level of service

Good central location

Check in could have been better. Other than that the breakfast is outstanding, hotel has a good atmosphere and provides essentials for a good holiday wether you are a lone traveller like myself or a couple/family with children. Prices for drinks were reasonable, not extortionate as in some hotels.

Great family friendly hotel

Great location with the beach and promenade only a stones throw from the beach. Really family orientated giving the feel of a safe environment for kids. Lots of pool activities for children as well, inflatables on the Monday were a massive success, especially if you want a couple of hours uninterrupted rest on your sun lounger!.
Only negative would be the restaurant with absolute mayhem at times, especially evening meal. Food was a good standard although the theme per night was a little disjointed with a mish mash of options leading to random plates of food for us.
Overall though I couldn’t recommend highly enough, staff were really professional and so helpful.

Lovely hotel, great location

Hotel was lovely in a great location. Good facilities. Lovely bar area. Animation was very good which my son got involved in virtually every day. We were bed and breakfast, the choice was fantastic. Definitely return.

OK...but expensive for what you pay

Hotel was ok...glass bathroom door with large gaps similar to stalls in a public toilet not very nice...people were great...always smiling and ready to help...hotel was very crowded....long check in queue and dining was always messy....no one.led you to a table....you had find one that you are happy with....food quality was mediocre...I would called this a good 3 star but definitely don't think it's good value as a 4 star especially for the price I paid....

Nice hotel, very good value for money

On first arrival the hotel looks very fancy and you are greeted with champagne. It was my partners birthday and the hotel had left a bottle of champagne in the room free of charge, we was also upgraded from a studio to a one bed apartment. Food was great with a massive choice, we especially loved the crepe station. Location couldn't be any better. Only disappointment was the fact an iron was not supplied in the room, you can borrow one from reception for one hour but this is a big inconvenience and doesn't add to the relaxing stay, for a hotel of this standard they should supply irons in every room.

Nice for families, but my cup of tea

Too many mistakes made by staff. Food isn’t of good quality. Very noisy from early in the AM and until 23:00-00:00. THEY ARE CHARGING FOR WATER AT BREAKFAST!!! WHAT KIND OF HOTEL DOES THAT?!

This hotel was served us for 5 nights during our Passover vacation in Canary Islands. Unfortunately, we were VERY disappointed with it. The building seemed to be VERY old, and after some cosmetic renovation, which sums up the entire experience. Everything was meant to look good, but just wasn't. There are only 2 small elevators (with a separate panel for each, which means you have to \"call\" each desperately). This is not enough for such a large hotel and caused long queues. The heated swimming pool didn't feel heated. Rooms were not clean by the cleaning lady, only somewhat arranged. Had to call reception for EVERY SINGLE THING. We had to call EVERY DAY and ask to replace sheets, and bring some amenities, from shower gel to towels (which were forgotten twice!). There's a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, but no working power plug to plug it. This was true for several of the rooms we had. Food at breakfast and dinner could be better in sense of taste and freshness. Cakes/Cookies at the Hotel's coffee shop were tasteless. THIS WAS THE FIRST HOTEL I'VE STAYED IN THAT CHARGED EXTRA FOR WATER DURING BREAKFAST. Also, all our rooms were \"pool view\", with BAD noise insulation (windows from 40 years ago) - which means NOISE ALL THE TIME! including night time. Overall, the most positive thing about this hotel is the location. and with that said, I wouldn't stay here again.

Good Hotel, enjoyable holiday

Just returned from 2 week stay, and overall very satisfied with the Hotel and amenities. The room was spacious and cleaned daily Good shower (over the bath). Breakfast was good with a huge variety of foods on offer, with eggs/pancakes cooked to order if desired. Dinner was buffet style, and again lots of choice. Staff friendly and nothing too much trouble. Not quite next to the Beach, although only a short walk away, across the road and down by the shopping centre. Supermarket nearby, and lots of shops, cafes, bars within walking distance. Rather more steps than I would have liked.
Relaxed atmosphere around the hotel, entertainment in the evenings so no need to venture out. Reading area with books on loan. Plenty of sunshine, cool in the evenings, just perfect.
Would definitely return again.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. It was close to the town and the marina, so good for morning walks. The food was good lots of choice, and you could have omelettes and eggs made fresh in the morning and also meat cooked fresh at the grill in the evening; which I prefer.
It was quiet at this time of year, mainly couples. The piano bar had live music which was good and we only went to the disco bar one night but it had entertainment which was interesting.

Public areas very good but the room had patio doors that didn't lock and had been patched up, there isn't any heating so due to cold wind the room was cold. Food selection good and the night time entertainment was better than most AI hotels, choice of drinks very good as well
