Clean room and okay for the short one night stay that we used it for. Rooms have an unusual modern set up. Nice bed with automatic reclining headrest, but unusual having the sink in the bedroom rather than the bathroom and a little limited for space (no chair or desk, or sofa). Good for short stays if you just want somewhere to get your head down for a night or two. We walked back from Savoy Theatre to the Hotel at night and then booked out before going to Columbia Road Flower Market on foot the following morning. There were some shops close to the Hotel including a Coop Metro, but we did not use them.

Nice clean room. Attentive staff. Good location. The only thing letting our stay down was the breakfast. There was no sliced white bread for toast. The plates where cold so when you put food onto it they food became cold very quickly.

We had a nice time staying at Yotel, staff were very pleasant and customer service was great. Hotel is well situated in central London near Farringdon Station. The Room was very clean and tidy.

Only issues we had were the towels were of poor quality and didn’t dry particularly well. The shower door seal wasn’t sealed properly and allowed water to leave the shower and onto the floor of the bedroom.

We plan on staying here again on future trips to London.

YOTEL London is perfectly located—right in the city center and close to everything, whether you’re sightseeing or in town for work. Check-in is easy and the staff are friendly.

Now for the fine print: the rooms are tiny. Not “cozy” tiny—more like cruise-ship-cabin tiny, minus the chair. Everything lives in a cubby, the bathroom is behind frosted glass (mystery is not an option), and the bed is basically a hospital bed with buttons.

If you just need a clean place to sleep at a good price, this works great. If you want space, privacy, or lounging… keep looking.

The room was great, the location was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great hotel overall. The only thing was when I arrived, I placed two small food orders and a hot drink. It took 50 mins for the food to arrive and I was the only one in the bar/restaurant. I also had to remind them to bring the hot drink I had ordered. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

This hotel reminded me of a hostel on entering.
Our room was so clinical it made me feel like I’d checked in to a hospital for an overnight stay before a procedure.
The shower & toliets are cubicles in the room (we booked the biggest, dread to think what the smaller rooms looked like)
Windows don’t open so felt so claustrophobic.
We definitely would not stay again, one positive the bed was comfortable.

A great hotel in a wonderful location close to bus stops, underground station, supermarket and a quick stop tesco.
Lovely rooms but small. Fine for a couple. Travelled with our daughter and arrived to find that the bathroom and shower had frosted glass walls so privacy was not great.
Chose to not have our rooms cleaned on certain days for a credit to our room only to find out it maxxed out at 2 nights so only had a credit for 2 of the days we skipped room cleaning. Also when the room was cleaned they never swept ( not once, and we were there for 9 nights)
Shower door didn’t close fully so we had a mini leak everytime we showered and had to put a towel down in the corner to stop water leaking into the hall.
Otherwise room was great, check in and out so efficient.
We asked for tv to be fixed and it was quickly. Staff were friendly, hotel was great otherwise but these were all the pros and cons.

Interesting hotel. We tried a couple of the smaller modern modular hotels on our trip and enjoyed the functionality and design of the yotel. The reclining bed seemed like a weird choice, and the lighting in the room was a bit odd, and we had to have our remote fixed 2x. Staff were good, location is great. Glad we experienced it, most likely wouldn’t do it again

Yotel was a good choice for us to explore London. It is close to the tube and is right on one of the bus lines. The room was a bit small but very nice with a great heater/ac and a very comfortable bed. It was also very quiet. The shower was one of the best we had on our long stay in the UK. The toilet was okay but could use some better ventilation.

The property is fairly modern and fresh. The room was small, but for one or two people, it's not bad. It's mostly self service for check in and check out which I liked, but our interactions with the staff were always friendly and warm. I do think it's not worth the value though and could be priced less per night, but you're in the center of London so that's expected. I'd stay here again for a quick trip and recommend for short stays.

Nice London hotel in great neighborhood

Overall this is a great hotel—wonderful neighborhood near all major London attractions, friendly and clean, comfortable bed, lovely restaurant and place to lounge during the day. The bathrooms inside the hotel rooms are barely private as there are no actual doors and solid walls, just a sliding glass door. Also, I would have appreciated complimentary coffee rather than having to pay for it each morning. Little touches like this would have added to the experience. Unfortunately this seems to be the trend now. Still, I would probably stay here again.

We were in london for a concert at Wembley but booked a two night stay so we could enjoy a few days away in the city. We had no faults with the hotel at all. Great central location with pretty much everything we needed within just a few stops on the tube. The hotel was really clean and rooms well designed & thought out. I loved the simplicity of everything within the hotel. A 5 star stay. We had no faults with anything.

It’s very clean and modern but very small so hard to manoeuvre with luggage. There is no bathroom- just smoked glass “pods” with a toilet in one and a shower in the other so if you are alone in the room, it would be perfect. Great location. Close to transit. Feels like a safe area. Front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. I’d stay there again if I was traveling alone.

For the price, the location, cleanliness and service was great. However the only light source was the window through the bathroom which you would draw the blinds as it’s a public facing window. So the room was constantly very dark and insufficiently lit. There was also an issue with the shower door seal so a massive puddle would form in the bathroom and flow towards the bedroom after every shower (room 111). We would stay here again but request for a higher floor.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. We even got 5% off when we skipped the housekeeping service which could be availed on any of the food items or drinks. The only negative that could be easily serviced is providing water refill stations at every floor. Currently they have it only at the lobby. The room don't provide water bottle so would be great if you could provide water bottles as a basic which could then be refilled by the guests themselves. Thank you for making our experience in London great!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our stay at YOTEL London City was extremely disappointing and nothing like what was advertised.
    1.    Misleading room size & pictures – Our room was described as 118 sq ft, but in reality, it was closer to 90 sq ft with only about 30 sq ft of walking space. Photos online (via Expedia) made it look far larger and more open.
    2.    Awful view – Every morning we woke up to a view of a brick wall, unlike the brighter, more open views shown online.
    3.    Poor room placement – Both of our rooms were placed in the back tower with no natural light or decent view.
    4.    Inconvenient bed setup – The bed has to be folded upright during the day to make any walking space.
    5.    Zero luggage space – Nowhere to comfortably store suitcases without blocking pathways.
    6.    Design flaw at sink – If one person uses the sink, the walking space around the bed is completely blocked.
    7.    Shower disaster – Every time we showered, the bathroom flooded and water poured into the room. We were constantly stepping in puddles of soap and water, turning our “hotel room” into a slippery, unsafe swimming pool.
    8.    Air conditioning failure – The AC is programmed to shut off automatically. We woke up sweating in the middle of the night multiple times and couldn’t fall back asleep, leading to sleep deprivation and completely ruining the trip’s comfort.
