Friendly staff. Clean room & bed. Easy parking. Fridge in room made a lot of noise all night. No plant-based milk provided for breakfast coffee or cereal. There are many people who can't consume dairy, and also many who are vegan. Don't know if the bagels/breads were vegan, but there was only pb to put on them (for vegan option) and the only hot food that was not meat (x3) was potatoes. If nothing else, please provide a plant-based milk which are extremely easy to purchase these days (oat, almond, cashew, soy milk, etc.) Any of them would be appreciated.

There was no bar- part of the reason I booked this hotel is because it advertised a bar. It had construction items scattered throughout one of the halls on my wing. There was no sign on my hotel door to indicate I did not want housekeeping, and preferred privacy. Someone came and knocked on my door for housekeeping at an early hour with a male voice and it was unsettling. I was a single female in a lobby full of men when I checked in the person on check-in was very kind, but announced my room number out loud in front of all the men in that lobby, which caused me to feel incredibly unsafe. Anytime a female checks in a hotel, it should be not to announce the hotel room out loud unless it is asked by them.
Lastly, the staff serving at the check in desk and in the breakfast area were very kind and excellent overall. Unfortunately one of the managers or the hotel owner was walking around the hotel lobby at night, and in the breakfast area the next morning in bare feet. It felt unsanitary and strange. I was left with the confidence that I had picked the wrong hotel as a single female to stay in, despite liking the hotel chain and the staff personalities.

Not one but TWO rooms were dirty: mold, grungy showers, spotty mirrors, dirty sinks, dirty sock under the bed. Moved from one room to another because of obnoxious screaming-at-0230 neighbors the staff knew about but did nothing. Saw cleaning staff storing their food (muffin, fruit) directly on the \"clean\" linens on their cart, notified the desk, and saw the same thing again the next day--clearly no action had been taken. Torn and stained box spring covers. Water damage. Malfunctioning hvac unit. Fridge not plugged in upon arrival. Desk staff used phrases like \"under renovation\" and \"under new management\" to excuse a lack of basic cleanliness and maintenance. Never seen a Holiday Inn Express like this, and I hope we never will again.

Parking was easy. Check in was easy. My issue was that the room was dirty. There were empty drink bottles under the bed, food, candy wrappers. The carpet felt gross. It looked like someone had been on one of the beds. Sheets had some stains. I checked out early. The hotel would not refund me stating that because I \"booked with expedia\" they couldn't do anything. They did offer another room but my friends room was just as bad so I the gave up the cost of a night. Poor excuse on the hotels part. I'm not sure if that was true but I will think twice about booking through a travel site in the future.

By far, this was the dirtiest hotel we have ever been in. There was dirt and filth everywhere ... mold in the cracks in the bathrooms. Bathroom sinks and showers did not drain. Absolutely disgusting. I would maybe expect this from a $59 per night hotel room - but not from a Holiday Inn Express at $185 per night. Left and got a different hotel room on nights 2 & 3 ... very frustrating that the hotel or Expedia would not give us a refund. The pictures on Expedia were very misleading - false advertisement at it's finest.

Common areas were clean as was the room. They are renovating the property which is needed. Dated for sure. Front desk staff was friendly but confused at times. Housekeeping staff was very good. Breakfast was decent. Parking seemed safe well lit but curbs in front of spaces were too far out from the property and were easy to hit as was evidenced by how many were crushed and broken. Room was quiet, linens were clean. Good location. Want to visit after renovations are complete.

Desk staff was nice, but the the hotel is very old and should be torn down. For example, black mold in bathroom, bath vent fan spins but doesn't move air, likely plugged up, bath sink very slow to drain, likely plugged up, bath vanity has 1 inch gaps at each end where my toothbrush rolled off and feel onto the dirty floor, the bath shower/tub has lost all its anti-slip nature and is like showering on a sheet of ice, toilet seat is so loose you need a seat belt to feel safe. Windows are paper thin allowing lots of street noise thru. Pool was dirty and not cleaned in days. Health dept should condemn the hotel and tear it down.

Dated, run-down, took multiple attempts to get CRC to read at check in due to broken reader, AC in room running full out - no control, visible wear and tear everywhere, far from I81, checkout clerk had an unfriendly attitude, no greeting or smile, i don't think he enjoyed his job.

First room had peeling wallpaper and found mold, got new room quickly, amenities were fine, bedspreads were stained, bathroom was spacious and clean but shower handle was missing and had a rusty rod in its place, so happiness with bathroom was ruined, breakfast was ok, some things good some not, coffee was pretty decent, also pool was extremely small, pictures were misleading

Overall the room and facilities were average. Housekeeping changed sheets and bathroom supplies one day and only changed bathroom supplies on second day. Had to take three cold showers. They said they would take care of problem but didn’t get fixed till 10 pm on my final night, after I had already taken a cold shower. Was told I would get a receipt in three days for some unknown reason. Eight days later and I still haven’t received a receipt. Will never stay there again.

I would look for a better place to stay the next time I am in that area. Our room smelled musty, bath drain was slow and no desk chair in our room. The carpet in our room exceeded it's life expectancy. This hotel needs to be renovated.

We thought it was closed because all the lights were off at the entrance. The hotel smelled and the halls are very poorly lit. The wall in the room all have damage and dust and there was mold or something in the shower. The bed nearest to the window had a brown stain on the sheets.

The hotel is good. Enjoyable. Too cold outside for the pool.
The room was clean, just outdated. I did have to ask for the sheets to be changed and the trash to be taken out along with new towels while it was the weekend. But after that it was done daily.

Overall it was a great stay. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. There are subtle signs that it's an older hotel but the updates they've made are very good. Hallway carpets aren't worn & there weren't any strange smells. They had a nice variety of breakfast offerings & the coffee was fresh ! Great location on route 11. We were here for Fall Carlisle-about 20 mins from the fairgrounds & close to restaurants/shopping. Will stay here again !

Dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in.

One of the dirtiest hotel rooms that I have ever stayed in. The room had a bad smell of urine when the AC was not running. If the heat was on it was even worse. The bed had no covers on the box springs. The room did not have a phone and the refrigerator did not work. I would avoid staying here even if you have to drive further to get a hotel.

I went into my room and the bed was not made there were chicken wings left on the tv stand there were poop smudges on the toilet bowl. The room was not made or cleaned. It was pretty nasty. They had to move me into another room. Last thing I wanted to do after driving 15 hours with my 9 year old.

Fair. Not the best IHG hotel we've been to

Seemed clean at 1st but all of us found hair in our beds, what looked like dry green boogers on 2 pillow cases. Tiled floor was sticky. A pillow had a cooorful striped pillow case stuffed inside making us all wonder how clean it was. Pool was very clean & towels were always available. Breakfast wasnt bad. There wasnt enough towels left out for our family but when asked the front desk, they gave us another couple of towels quickly without question.

Overall it was not a terrible experience. It looked like the room had been cleaned very quickly. The floor between the beds needed swept and there was a used k-cup in the keurig. There were small dirty fingerprints on the blackout curtain and shower curtain, but nothing so terrible that I felt uncomfortable staying in the room. I did tell the front desk when checking out, so hopefully they fix clean it better for the next guest.

First room they assigned us had a construction ladder, buckets and a trail of dirt on the floor. Second room, keys would not work. Razor cap from previous guest still on vanity. Sink basin not properly cleaned. Hotel sent a text message at 11:54 p.m. Heat/AC unit was so loud it prevented sleep.

I was really there for a good night's sleep before hitting the road in the morning for another long day of driving. My room was close to the lobby, which I thought might be convenient. But there was rock music playing all night long. I thought it was coming from the next room, but when I got up in the morning and stuck my head out the door of my room, I was stunned to learn the music was from the lobby. You're never going to alienate someone with peace and quiet. I would think this is something basic, as in Hospitality 101. I didn't get any sleep. I won't stay there ever again. There are plenty of other choices.

The room was very clean and comfortable.
I did not spend alot of time in the room, I was only there for 2 nights, too shower and sleep. The rest of the time I was visiting with family in PA/MD. You get free breakfast, nothing fancy,it would've been nice if there was a coffee pot in the room where you go for breakfast at least during breakfast hours. It would've been nice if they had a refillable filtered water machine to refill your own water bottle like their sister hotel INDIGO. I tried refilling mine from the faucet but the water had a funny taste. Check in and check out was very easy.

The staff were all very nice, breakfast was good and they had nice shower products. The bed was comfortable and appliances were nice. Every single piece of laundry, towels, bedding etc were all stained and dirty. I asked for replacements and they gave me them, clearly right from the laundry service, but they were still dirty. My tub didnt drain either even after they sent maintenance to fix it. I am disappointed with what i paid to stay here, i love IHG properties in general

This is a pretty tired and run down Holiday Inn Express. Definitely needs some TLC. Dirty carpets, musty rooms, etc. But the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating when I asked for a different room since the one assigned had a previous smoking guest.

The property was what we expected for a budget hotel.
It was fairly clean and facilities were up to that standard.
The person at the front desk for check-in was pleasant.
When my daughter turned on the shower the house keeping person had turned the nozzle towards the rest of the bathroom area so the bathroom floor got soaked.

Very clean and well maintained for an older hotel. Very nice outdoor area with pool. Key card didn’t work to get into door at pool area but worked well on room door. Bed way too soft for me but that’s just my personal preference
