Couldn’t pull in to the garage because Alex had a car parked at the entrance, went around the block several times, then once pulled in waited ten minutes for a valet person to show up only to find that my truck wouldn’t fit in the garage… no other parking suggested, was told to find street parking!

Got caught in a bad storm on a long drive home with my boyfriend. Tried to make the best of a bad situation.
I made the reservation and included the parking fee. We didn’t need any more headaches. We parked on the street (free parking 5pm-8am or something of the sort). I went to check in. It was the standard process (albeit with far less warmth than I’m used to) until the front desk guy asks where we parked. I said the street. He said, “I will never understand why you people park on the street when it is included in your reservation.” “Oh, yeah, I just didn’t know where to pull in or if we needed to check in first.” “But there’s a spot to pull in and you paid for it.” Cool. Pitstop in the bathroom, walk outside, found the valet area! We eventually pulled the car up to said area. Valet guy comes out. Standard spiel about cost and what not. I tell him we already have the valet parking. He questions what I mean. I tell him what the front desk guy said. He’s like “oh well the way you said it made it seem like you already had a ticket when you obviously don’t. Front desk guy is new.” This goes on for like 5 minutes. Cool. The bellhop cart was wobbly. Whatever. My breaking point came when I finally got to shower. The door slides in a way that I have to reach through the water to adjust the temp/turn it on AND there’s water all over the floor. Fine. Sure. It’s when I look up and see a vent COATED in dust and HAIR on the shampoo bottle when I decided that a full crash out was valid

My mom and I stayed in room 922, where the room had a fantastic view of the buildings, church, and the park/river across the way. The room was clean, and did not have any gross hairs on the sheets, pillows, or in the bathroom. The fridge worked excellent, the heating and cooling worked great, and the TV with channels worked very well! There is no parking lot, but there is valet parking, and trust me, you will want to use it! The valet parking is $25 a night, but your car is protected and is kept safe, while on the street, you pay via a app or a website, and have to keep adding more hours as you go. There’s also homeless in the area that seem harmless, but, it’s better to have your car in valet than be possibly broken into. The valet parking guys are great, and wonderful too- especially Gerald (I believe that was his name) he went above and beyond, and was so helpful!

The room I was assigned was wide open when I arrived at it and didn’t have hot water. I tried calling the front desk to tell them but the phone didn’t work. I used a phone in the hallway. I was told they’d send someone from maintenance to my room. A short while later a maintenance man came to my room and told me it would take some time to fix the problem and that a new room was assigned.

When I went to the new room the door was open. I went in and picked up the phone to let the front desk know the door was open. I picked up the room phone and it didn’t work. I called the front desk to let them know the door was open using a hallway phone. They offered to send maintenance to check on the phone issue. I told them it wasn’t needed and told their manager the phone issue in two rooms is a significant security problem. He didn’t seem to understand the veracity of the situation until I specifically told him someone could get assaulted while picking up a room phone that doesn’t work.

The location of this hotel is the primary reason we stayed here. We did a race at City Island. The room was comfortable and clean. Main gripe is the paper thin walls between rooms. We could hear the next room talking in the AM, and that means, they could hear us. Second time we stayed here. First time the we stayed, the walls seemed much better. Location is key, as well as the $25 valet.

The hotel was dated and the bedroom sheets, toilet, and general area was dirty. No microwave. The front desk associate was not friendly. The hotel room was next to the main street so alot of that traffic was heard it was not restful its also across from a hospital so ambulance noise frequently. Housekeeping knocked at 10:30a checkout is at 11a. Overall would not recommend.

I had an awful experience at this hotel. I checked in excited for a relaxing stay, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The room appeared fine at first glance, but the next morning I woke up with multiple itchy bites all over my body. After a closer look, I realized they were from bed bugs! This is not something I expected to deal with at a supposedly \"quality\" hotel.

Staff was friendly. The hotel and room were clean. Our wall thermostat wasn’t working. They sent maintenance up immediately to repair the issue. The valet team was kind, helpful and they were swift with getting our car.

We did not try the hotel bar or restaurant. Otherwise it would be nice if the hotel offered free parking to their guests or a discounted rate for parking.

Otherwise, I would absolutely stay again.

Overnight stay this week and while the lobby was beautiful and check in was easy, be prepared to hear church bells early in the morning. The air conditioner in the room sounded like a train was going through the room every time it turned on and off so we had to turn it off and were warm all night. The room was near the employee elevator and the staff coming in and out of it were so loud talking to each other and on their phones! We can tell you their life stories. When I told staff on checkout, I was simply told “we will work on that.”

The room itself was clean but surprisingly antiquated. The bed frame was basically peeling off as was the wallpaper. Serious renovations are needed. There are plenty of hotels in the area; I would advise choosing a different one .

The whole fiasco started all over because my family was sitting near me helping me out, but they were sitting next to me in the pool area, not swimming, just sitting in the chairs fully clothed. And he just came barging in making demands.

This place is nasty, wallpaper is falling off the walls I had bug bites on my ankles and behind my ear I was even bitten by bug of some sort in the elevator. The place is disgusting. Don’t waste your money. They let homeless people hang out in the lobby to charge their phones, they do have valet parking, which I didn’t trust they look like they were making drug deals or something very outdated. The only positive thing I can say is they had hot water, but everything else is nasty.

Location, Location, Location.

The Hotel was beautiful and the registration was great. The first issue was as we arrived, Police were removing homeless people who were sleeping on the sidewalk across the street. Then when we went to locate the room, there was no room number on the door like all the other rooms. The cleaning staff took the towels on our second day and I had to call to get them replaced. The bed wasn't properly made up on second and third day. The restaurant and bar were nice conveniences. .

We stayed at this location because we were going to a concert. The hotel is very reasonable in price. I had a standard king bed room. It does have a pool, restaurant and valet parking. Located in a nice area. I did not have time to enjoy the amenities. I only disliked the stains on the white comforter. Other than that check in and out was easy. Even had a courtesy call. Staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

Overall the stay was okay! The ice machines didn’t work on my floor so I checked a different floor and those didn’t work either so I went downstairs to report it and a staff member told me to go check another floor, but another staff member decided to give me ice from the Starbucks counter. There was no microwave in the rooms, it was only one downstairs. I feel like to rooms are too expensive for you not to have everything you need in them! And the staff are giving you the runaround about everything. Last but not least housekeeping didn’t come to clean the room until 3:00 or 4:00 in the afternoon. By that time we were back from shopping and wanted to take a nap.

Little disappointed with the staff handling the cars . We were loading our bag after check out and the car was so much away from the drive way. The staff was yelling and threatened us he will take the car and move it away. I would like the hotel management to review the CCTV if any to witness what happened july 19 morning after our check out. I believe the hotel guest should be treated with respect and thing handled more diplomatically.
