We bought 2 rooms for a night. The first room smelled strong of cigarette smoke. My clothes and luggage all smelled like smoke when i got home. It was impossible to sleep because this room was near the stairwell and people were stomping up and down the stairs all night long. People were yelling. The microwave did not work. The second room had a huge crack in the tv and the air conditioner didn't work properly. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Both rooms had dated furniture, bedding, lamps, and decor. We felt very uncomfortable staying here. We didn't feel clean or safe. We will not stay at this hotel ever again. Needs repairs, cleaning, and updating. Very noisy hotel at night. Hallways smelled bad.

We arrived at 2AM so we were tired and just wanted sleep. We were put on the 4th floor and as soon as we stepped out of the elevator we smelled marijuana. The carpet was filthy and torn. We opened the door and the AC unit was off so it was very hot. I went to turn it on and the grate was rusted and smashed in but it still functioned. The closet door handle was falling off. The desk and bedside table is scratched up and everything is outdated and stained. If I wasn’t desperate for sleep we would’ve left. The bed was comfortable but when I woke up I could see stains all over the sheets and pillows. We had to leave at 5:30AM so we quickly got our stuff together and it was then I noticed bugs crawling on the wall! I will include a picture if I can, of what I believe I’ve identified as a roach!!! Do not stay here! It is disgusting!

No free breakfast even thou some travel sites show

No breakfast. Some travel sites picture a free breakfast listed and pictures of cafe. Booked on your site since cheaper but your site does not list or picture breakfast. Got there and do not offer breakfast and they know that still shows from when they did. Would not do anything to compensete. Told have to live with it, not their problem.

I kinda got what I paid for. It was a cheap room, but comfortable. Well-worn and could probably use a refurb. The desk chair needs to be replaced, the bathroom doorknob requires repair as well as the toilet seat. Staff was great, check-in went smoothly.

Hotel needs a update and upgrade

Multiple things broken and damaged in the hotel. Took photos upon arrival so that way nothing could be blamed on us. Beds were very warn in. Not the cleanest. Towels had some stains. Drywall unfinished, door knobs not properly fastened, no remote to the TV, lamps with light bulbs that don’t work. Missing outlet covers and broken outlet covers. Door flip locks poorly installed.

Checked into hotel. Smelt like natural gas. Upon getting to room. The floor wasn’t fully put together. A/c unit was disassembled. Unbelievably horrible hotel stay.

The stay started out with the room not being able to be locked. Told us there were not anymore rooms, then moved us to a room with a foul smell, hole in the bathtub, bugs in both rooms, dirty floor, mattresses that were lumpy, dirty walls in bathroom, black mold on doors and walls, flooring did not fit, large gaps in it. The hallways looked like livestock had been living in it. many many places that plate was badly chipped, doors did not fit, cracks in drywall, etc. This place should be closed by the department of health, mold, bugs, filth, etc.

We had to switch from our original room to another one because the sink wouldn’t drain and the fridge didn’t work. Honestly it also had a really weird smell. Then when we got the other room and the AC was ducted taped together, and the tub was also ducted taped and had little holes in the bottom of the tub, looked like cigarette burns on the tub. The bed was so stiff both of our back’s were hurting. The breakfast wasn’t anything great, no sweet and low available and my boyfriend is a diabetic.

There were only two housekeeping staff for a four floor building. I think they did the best they could but I have a list of issues, including AC and management issues. The two men who seemed to be in charge, didn’t show much interest in helping us meet our needs and kept saying “go ask housekeeping.” I have a list and will be glad to share it with someone if they are interested. We actually tried to move to another hotel but those in the immediate area were full because of a concert. We will not stay at that hotel again, and now have a negative attitude towards Ecolodge in general. For point of reference, we’ve been on a driving trip across America for two and a half months, staying mainly at Best Western, but also at other lower price hotels when needed for location reasons. This Ecolodge was the most disappointing and a big part of that was the attitude of management. And we say that having owned two businesses that depended on good customer relationships.

There are several things about this facility.
Though the linens and towels were clean as well as the bathroom, there were many places on the walls where substances were stained and/or not wiped up.
Two light switch fixtures were damaged.
One near the hall door would not turn the light on.
The light in the bathroom came on several times by itself during the night, shining a bright light into the sleeping area waking me up.
I ended up putting towels along the bottom of the door to block the light.
The air conditioning unit front cover is about to fall off and the unit itself did not cool the room only made way too much noise. I turned it off completely so I could sleep.
The television is analog? Really?? The room rate could easily pay for cable.
The furniture could use a complete rehab. The desk chair was all torn up on the surface of the seat and back.
It looked like it was pick up off the sidewalk or from the trash.
I will not stay here again and will not recommend the facility to anyone.
I do not know what the other rooms are like but room 306 was a disaster.
I was really tired after a demanding drive and with all the things that were wrong with this room it is a miracle if I got any rest or sleep.

The television has about 4 channels that does not work half the time. Building is falling apart. For the price of this hotel, they can certainly do better!

Hotel was nice for what it was but was not a huge fan of I’m assuming housekeeping attempting to bust in the door at 7am, disregarding the DND sign and also knocking as they were entering. The only saving grace was the dead bolt!

We walked in to an unoccupied front desk. After checking in we went to look at our room, the elevator smelled like urine and cigarettes, the hall way carpet was dirty and very old. We opened the room door and looked turned around and took our keys back to the front desk. We told her we weren't going to keep our reservations. This place is a dump!!! Went and found a clean safe room at a near by hotel. Expedia you should take this property off your site.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. We get to the hotel and they tell us at the front desk our card was declined. I informed the staff that this was booked with Expedia almost a month ago. I showed my card statement as well as my booking on Expedia showing the room was paid. When we get to our room our keycard didn’t work so I went back down and had to get a new key card. The beds were hard and the sheets were super thin. At 12:30am we had to switch rooms because there was a horrible sound coming out of the vent in the bathroom. Neither of us had a good night sleep and had a long drive home the next day. I will not stay here again or even recommend this establishment.

In town for a concert at Hershey Stadium, so really only needed a place to sleep for the night. Room was decent - smelled slightly musty, but we turned the air on and it went away for the most part. Bed was fine, pillows were cozy. I would stay again.

The smell of chlorine and bleach hits you as soon as you walk in the door and never goes away. The halls, elevator and room reeked. The 1st room we got hadn’t been clean. They moved us to a 2nd room. The beds were made, but questionable if the bathroom was cleaned - there was used soap & bathmat & washcloth left in bathtub. I didn’t want to risk getting a worse room - so we bought bleach wipes & stayed. When we left for dinner - we noticed the door didn’t even lock when closed. It locked from the inside w deadbolt so we stayed. At night - the bathroom light would randomly come on. Just an overall weird experience.

They moved us to another room because they had no housekeeping. 2nd Room we went into was also a dirty room. Pee on the floor, rooms laminate floor was unswept/ vacuumed, laminate was also damaged with is dangerous with small children who slide across the floor in there socks. Bathroom had stains all over the walls and door trim shower curtain had dirty stains on it. Floor was gross. Mirror was not cleaned water stains all over it. Ive bucket was full of water which means it was not cleaned from the last people. Mini Fridge was dirty. Finally tv was like watching and old fuzzy tv with rabbit ears.

Scary Place! Not safe! Do not stay here ever! I didn't stay all night because the place was scary. I think it's a very sketchy place and might be illegal activity. And if you read the other reviews they have a serious bed bug problem. I checked in. Despite being a non-smoking facility, smoke is all you can smell. And I don't really mind that, but...I checked out quickly. The manager gave me a key to a room that was already occuipied. Yeah the key worked, but it was latched from the inside. Got a new key to a new room and that one had a missing smoke alarm. How can the brand Econo Lodge allow this !?

The first room we were in leaked when it rained and the drain in the shower barely worked! The finally moved us to another room and it had holes in the bathroom door - the closet door frame was completely detached so we had to prop stuff against it to keep omit from falling and finally we found bed bugs in the room before we checked out!

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

To start they were hours behind on check in times due to rooms not being cleaned. Upon arrival it appeared that there were dead bugs in the elevator which we later figured out was mold . When we got to our floor, it smelled of marijuana, carpet looked like it wasn’t vacuumed in months and the window at the end of the hall was broken. Our room was painted different colors which I thought was odd. Our son opened the closet and huge spores of black mold covered it completely. Mold was on all the furniture. I reported to the front desk and told them we would not be sleeping there and they did refund us. This place needs shut down. Employee was nice and gave me a refund without any issues.

We stayed in a room that needed numerous repairs. Some water efficient shower heads and sink fittings could definitely bring the water bill down. The linens were clean. If this hotel is hoping to stay afloat, they need a good handyman. Also, note there is no free breakfast. I would suggest that the hotel offer an inexpensive bagged breakfast with a muffin and a piece of fruit.

This property has not been maintaned since it was built. The doors to the room do not even shut or lock properly, either does the back door to the property. The whole place smells like an ashtray, extremely dirty, holes in each layer of sheet to blanket to dust cover on the horrible haystack mattress. We even had someone try to break into our room, and the police were there most nights. There are approx 5 other hotels right near this one. PAY MORE, not worth the cost, for safety reasons and health reasons.
