Everything was fine. Only issue was the hotel should have known from my reservation that i had 4 people staying but only had 2 towels. It seems to be a problem at just about every hotel we stay at though so im not concerned. All in all i would stay here again

The hotel needs renovation and they said renovations have started. We had big staines in the carpet, the bathroom wall was busted and it was fixed up in poor manner. Bathroom door was heavily stained. But the staff was nice. Location was good.

We had to check out at 12:10 am due to the noise. We were on the second floor and we could hear the party in the foyer and outside at the fire pit. We made the first complaint to the front desk at 11 as quiet hours at 10pm-6 am. She said she would talk to them. Now at 12 am I went down again and told her we would be checking out as I have a 5 year old trying to sleep. She proceeded to tell me she can not do a refund and that I was the first complaint. I told her that’s BS as my fiance was down here 30 mins ago. Even as we were walking out to drive 5 hours home with no sleep… the party was still going strong. The bartender was still serving alcohol. The receptionist did absolutely nothing to help control the matter

When we got to our first room, the pullout couch was clean for the kids, but when we went to use the main bed, we found ketchup stains and a french fry between the sheets. Before settling in, I checked the bed in the second room, and found someone’s work ID inside the sheets. At that point, i was livid and tired. I requested a room on a different floor, assuming the same staff member had cleaned both rooms. We were moved again, this time to a smaller room than what we originally had so it was inconvenient for our family size, but at least the sheets appeared clean.
I tried to file a formal complaint, but was told no manager works on weekends. I was promised a call from management on Monday, but no one ever reached out.
Overall, the cleanliness issues were unacceptable and made it very difficult to feel comfortable for the rest of the stay. While the front desk staff was polite and responsive, the housekeeping concerns and lack of follow-up from management mean I cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in pretty good shape but a few things were annoying. The design of the King room has the toilet and shower in separate “rooms” both located at the foot of the bed and used rolling “Barn” doors with frosted glass. There’s no privacy! The light shines through in the middle of the night when you have to use the toilet. The doors don’t lock and they are noisy.
Second-the temperature of the fitness center was set to 77’! There was no way to change the temperature and no fan to cool room off.

The shower door didn't close properly and when my daughter stepped out of the shower, there was about an inch of water on the floor. For the rest of us to shower, someone had to hold the door closed to minimize the amount of water on the floor. The light was out above the vanity. The guest towel bar was coming off the wall. Looked like poor maintenance at property. Disappointed as this is a Marriott property.

After staying here the previous week and having a bad experience, we hoped it was an isolated experience. We were wrong. After checkin, we went to the elevator. When the door opened, the housekeeper and her cart were in the elevator. She just looked at us and closed the elevator door. After settling in, we pulled back the bed cover to go to sleep and noticed stained, unclean sheets. Looked like some type of bodily fluid. Took photos. Ended up sleeping on top of the covers as we were grossed out. It was a handicapped room and noticed the holder was broken that holds the handicapped shower wand. That would make showering difficult for a handicapped person. Very disappointed, as this is a Marriott property.

This was my first time at the SpringHill Suites in Hershey PA and everything from checkin to the room, customer service, checkout tells me I'll be making a return visit. When checking out I told the desk clerk I wished I could stay for a couple more nights it was so nice.

Our room was broken into while we were at dinner. I had two rooms. My sister in laws room flooded when she took a shower and caused her to slip. She was able to catch herself before she fell. A live large bug was sitting on my curtain above my suitcase on a shelf they provide. I was very cautious when I got home unpacking my suitcase because I did not want to bring anything home with me.

Sunday night we had issues with noisy hallway, we called down to the desk to complain about the noise and was told it’s a late bar night and there’s no curfew. We planned on doing another stay in June for a convention near by but would not stay there due to that Sunday night incident. It was after 11pm, we had small children in our rooms and found it truly inconsiderate and ridiculous that grown adults were allowed to behave like that while people are trying to sleep. I hope your company re evaluate that late bar night/no curfew rule for the sake of other customers who aren’t inconsiderate of those trying to sleep!!!

It is ashamed we had to pay for parking. The Hotel Took $6.00 out of my credit card for 2 days parking. I have never stayed at a Hotel who charged me for parking after paying for rooms.Plus the extra blankets and sheets for the sofa bed was dirty. I had to request clean sheets and blankets.

We had a 9 day say in early August with our family. While the property and room were nice. A few maintenance concerns were not addressed during our stay, and I have not received a follow up since arriving back home.
Breakfast is mediocre and no variety. 1 or 2 nights this is ok. We got to experience the same breakfast all 8 times. Some days some items were not stocked leaving even less options.
Towels and Wash cloths were not always readily available. Had to wait until next morning on a couple occasions.
The closet door in our room had screws missing from a hinge so it didn't close properly. The sliding door for bathroom with the shower had a problem with the track making it tougher to open and close. Also, there was some mould around the ceiling. The towel bar in the bathroom with toilet was barely hanging on. There is a power cord that runs under the desk that fell down towards the end our stay that I managed to put back up.\ myself.

Breakfast is mediocre and no variety. 1 or 2 nights this is ok. We got to experience the same breakfast all 8 times. Some days some items were not stocked leaving even less options.
Towels and Wash cloths were not always readily available. Had to wait until next morning on a couple occasions.
The closet door in our room had screws missing from a hinge so it didn't close properly. The sliding door for bathroom with the shower had a problem with the track making it tougher to open and close. Also, there was some mould around the ceiling. The towel bar in the bathroom with toilet was barely hanging on. There is a power cord that runs under the desk that fell down towards the end our stay that I managed to put back up.\ myself.

Rooms need to be updated. They have sliding, heavy doors for the bathroom and shower which are separate areas. The first room we went to the handle to the sliding door was broken and it was out of its track and we could not move it easily. The front desk gave us a different room.The furniture needs to be cleaned. The one couch was dirty with stains. Contrary to the sofa, the bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It is also very noisy on the side near I 81. You can hear all the tractor trailers and traffic.

If you plan on visiting Hershey Park, we recommend this property for your stay. It is about 20 minutes or so from that park, a quiet spot with a pool, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The only issue we faced during our stay was that the shampoo and body washes were empty / near empty in the shower. The staff was quick to resolve this issue.

This hotel served our purposes for a quick one night stay. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a room with two beds, and there was still room for a small sitting area with a couch and desk. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Free breakfast was the typical cereal, bread/toaster, wafflemaker, cooked eggs, and sausage.
One thing that was not great was that the furniture in the room seems pretty worn out, our drawers did not all stay closed. Also - the toilet area, (located in the most central part of the room), and the shower and sink area are in two separate enclosures in different spots in the room, and they both just have a sliding door with a frosted panel. This wasn't ideal for having more than one person in the room.
Overall though, it met our needs. Its location was convenient for our needs as we were visiting someone who lives nearby, and I understand it's close to the capitol as well. It's also pretty close to the highway, so there's easy access to other parts of the Harrisburg/Hershey area.
