The room was clean , the staff were good, the rules to be followed were texted ahead of time. I didn't use the pool, but saw that it was occupied most of the time. There were a lot of children and families enjoying the pool. The laundry facility is available in an open area near the swimming pool. I got only a tiny room with all the furniture being tightly placed. Maybe because I booked from Expedia 😉 The bathroom was tiny too. I noticed some other rooms that were huge. The water flow was too much for the drain setting. The bathtub couldn't drain faster. They had a long table under the TV. It was useful to spread out my junk items. More than everything, I got a good night sleep with a firmer bed which I loved. I had so much body pain from standing all day and travel , and this bed almost healed me overnight.

If you don’t mind screaming kids with parents who ignore them in the pool and hot tub, this is the hotel for you. If you don’t mind barking dogs because (gasp) people have to bring Fido and then lock him in the room, this is the hotel for you. If you don’t mind being told the buffet breakfast has different hours than posted, and then go during the “modified” hours and learn the breakfast is closed and when you bring it to the attention of the desk, they tell you there was a miscommunication and you must have heard the staff wrong, then this is the hotel for you. Now, for the positives - the shower has hot water, the pillows are comfortable.

Located beside I81. Newly renovated lobby. Rooms were older but very clean. Check in/out seamless. Included breakfast ok but not a standout. That said, very clean dining area. Property was under new management and attentive to cleaning. Good value for an overnight stay while enroute to some other place.

I was visiting family in PA and was told that I couldn’t even have visitors in my room or the hotel lobby. I couldn’t cancel because I did the check in thru the text they sent and since I got it thru Expedia. The insurance I got didn’t have that reason listed. This was followed up with a 250 dollar fine if they caught someone there that wasn’t listed for the room.There is a whole page of things they could charge you. Which made me think what type of people are staying here. While eating the “breakfast “ there was a guy that stood there and watched you.He would bring out one yogurt and place on the serving table. I understand they are trying to stop people from stealing food but not everyone steals food. Some are there just to eat the breakfast. I used to travel all over the US and Canada and stayed in many hotels but this hotel definitely takes the cake for making you not feel welcome.

Recent hotel “renovations” were a new exterior, new lobby furniture, new HVAC units in rooms, but mostly just sloppily painting over problems. Bathtub/ shower and jacuzzi tub had both been “refinished” very poorly with runs in the paint and a lot of chips already. There is a lot of paint splatter & overspray all over. Recessed lights above the jacuzzi tub were partially dangling out of the ceiling and when you turn the jets on in the tub it kicks the lights off!
Upon checking in we found a wad of hair between the back of the bathroom sink and the mirror, a pubic hair on the toilet seat, and some sticky gunk under the front of the cabinet that houses the fridge.
For multi-night stays you have to request housekeeping services the night before which I’ve never encountered before.

Pool was freezing. Hotel was outdated. No upgrades in site. Bathrooms were the size of a half bath. Entrance was horrible. You think you’re lost turning, but you drive around a bend past closed buildings. Only thing that was nice was the face of the building. Classical wyndam bought old hotel and never did anything to make it better.

We booked a king size room for three nights. The room was uncleaned when we got there, it still had the bed unmade and towels on the floor from previous guests. So very NOT clean. They then substituted our room for two queen beds instead. We got to that new room and the towels were all stained dirty. We couldn’t track down anyone who spoke English to get replacements, they sent me on a wild goose chase to find someone to get me two towels. The floors were sticky. The gym was gross. They never once cleaned our room while we were there. 10/10 do NOT recommend. I read reviews prior to booking and had I read one like this we would not have booked. So I hope this helps the next person…

Very unclean. Smells like smoke and heavy duty cleaners. Mini fridge had crumbs and debris. There was a flosser on bathroom floor of third room. Sheets has black marks and one blanket had yellow goop on it. Didn’t bother checking out the pool as it was crowded and that entire wing of the building smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and vape pens.

Room 127-The hot tub had brown foam floating on the top and there were no towels in the pool area. The pool area was overly crowded. We had a 1st floor parking lot view room and it was very loud at night with people yelling and revving their engines. Our room was for 5 so we had a pull out couch that the springs were nearly poking out of and there was not a comforter provided. When I asked the front desk for one he didn’t think they had one but ended up finding one for us luckily. I took a Luke warm shower but then there was no hot water for the other four in our family to shower. The front desk said that it’s because the hotel was full and the hot tub was taking all the hot water.

Noisy guests. Our room took forever to get ready because the previous guest had made a terrible mess. Rooms outdated and bad furnishings. Our friend’s bedsheets had an indescribable stain. The only redeemable thing about the stay was it was cheap. You get what you pay for.

They booked us into the room right next to the gym, laundry and pool. So loud! No towels at the pool, no hot tub rules listed so it was full of young kids (not the relaxing evening we hoped for), and there was no hot water for showers. Breakfast was average. Fine for a night to stay, but wouldn’t book for an extended time.

The pool has a ton of chlorine and started to burn my eyes. The bathtub don’t hold water as it has a tub stop that suctions to the tub so the only way to drain it is to stand there and hold the stopper up but it also has uneven suction so the bath drains out. The light in the bathroom kept flickering. The room was not kid friendly, easy access to wall outlets for kids to touch and mirrors all over the room. The room did not have hot water and front desk was notified, I was told water can take hours to get hot and after swimming my family needed to bathe, so this was a huge deal breaker. The breakfast food(eggs) were still frozen and the attendants started cleaning and removing items before the 9am end time. There’s a ton of fees you won’t be aware of until after booking(can’t bring in extra guests as they are an additional $200/person) including guests. Dirty linens(stained) can cost up to $250. Definitely one of the worst I’ve stayed at.

Ask for house keeping 48 hrs before and when the day arrives it’s not done. And when asked at front desk I was out fault they did not write it down. And asked again for house keeping wait 48hrs and still not done.
No coffee in breakfast most mornings and always out.
Pool was very much high on chlorine people were all coughing.
We stayed 11 days and I will never stay there again.
No hot water is a big no no.
Just need a good bed and hot shower. I was not asking much I find.

Staff could not answer questions when asked. Paid extra money for a Jacuzzi room to have no hot water and not be able to use it. Brought up the problem to the staff and they had no clue and wouldn't do anything about it. The parking lot was horribly plowed and to get around and was not good. The room was clean and that was about the only good thing

We waited longer than 30 minutes to check in. The pull out bed was so uncomfortable that my kids didn't hardly sleep. The blanket we got for the bed had bug pieces on it (yes, dead bug pieces). We took the coldest showers we had ever taken in a hotel room because they ran out of hot water. I have never had a hotel that ran out of hot water!!! And the room heater/ac kept malfunctioning, with negative temperatures outside, our room was SO cold. Overall, it was the worst stay we ever had in a hotel.

The staff were very friendly, and enjoyable to be around. The staff who cared for the breakfast, did a fantastic job! The room was not very clean. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom, the chair and end table were gross. They were sticky and the amount of food and garbage in the seat cushion was disgusting. When i pointed it out to the front desk, they said that in the morning they'd replace it. When we checked out two days later, they still hadn't changed it. There were no towels in the pool area, although the hot tub was amazing.

The room was spacious and clean. There was a lot of caulking throughout the room, bath tub and around the walls of the jacuzzi. There was also white spray paint in the bath tub and jacuzzi. Front desk staff were nice, breakfast could have been a little better. Parking lot was a mess with snow and ice. My husband fell getting of his truck.

I was charged $15 a day for pet fees each day for January 26-29 and forJan 29-30th. The morning 30th I went to front desk to book again and she told me rate and $15 for pet fee again. I asked why do I have to keep paying a pet fee, you know she is my service dog right? They knew I am a veteran and she is my service dog. She said, show me her documentation, I said I don’t have it on me because I am in a homeless situation and have been for a couple months living in my truck sometimes and all my stuff is in storage. I said I have my VA identification card on me proving I am a Veteran and in fact I am 100% Service Connected and I have about 16 disabilities documented in my VA Files from combat service in Afghanistan. I pulled out my VA card and she looked at it and said with an attitude every body says there dogs are service dogs and they rip us off, they are lieing to us and they are not service dogs,they are emotional support dogs so we charge the fee to everyone to stop them from ripping us off. I said “You do know it’s illegal to ask me that and I showed my VA card. There is a law for that. She said it’s emotional support dog and we can charge for that, I said no she is my service dog. She said well we have NO ROOM FOR YOU after we had been discussing paying for my same room I was already in. I said your gonna deny me renting a room, your gonna deny a 100% Service Connected Vet which is also illegal and I have been here for 5 days now. We can’t have people staying long

The room was great. Plenty of room for all 5 of us. Unfortunately we did have a couple incidents that should be addressed. For a reservation of 5 people, we had 2 towels in the room. Upon asking the guy at the desk, he replied there were no more available. We were in the pool area and someone came in with fresh towels. We proceeded to the desk and a different guy was behind the counter. He in turn gave us a stack of towels for the room and for the pool. Another incident was in the pool area. There were a couple of boys(ages approx 10-14) playing roughly, dunking each other under. I had to get my young grandson out of the pool after one of them collided with him. Their guardian sat on the lounge chair not reprimanding them at all.
Other than those incidents the stay was nice. Conveniently located and would definitely would stay there again. Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

I booked for Dec 22 my son was going to have some friends come swim with him for his birthday. I went to the hotel to check in and asked the woman about this and she was very RUDE said they don’t allow guest and if she caught me with guest it would be 250.00 and they would kick us out. She then said please just cancel your reservation we don’t allow people like this. I offered to get a 2nd room so the kids that were coming could stay and wouldn’t be guest and she still said no. Told me to cancel and leave. She then said the 3rd party would reimburse me for my stay. I never got to check in never got a key never went to the room. She told me the policy prior to checking in and wouldn’t allow me to go any further. I left and had an amazing hotel help me out. When I call in a week later to Hotels they are telling me the hotel won’t reimburse me. I called the hotel and the same woman said you get Ano refund you had 15 guest. I never checked in nobody came no guest were there no rules were broke I was told the rules and asked to leave. I called corporate and still 1 week nothing. Pathetic establishment what are you getting out of not giveing back 80.00 for someone who never even stayed there

Of the hundreds of places, I’ve stayed, this was the worst. The sheets and towels were the only thing that were changed from the last people who stayed there. There was dirt, garbage, and hair left over. The top of the toilet had dried urine on it, and there was pubic hair underneath the seat as well. After asking for a new room or for someone to clean, the man at the front desk said, “I am not a housekeeper.”

If I had known they were putting me on the top floor with no working elevator AND no offer to help bring luggage up four flights of stairs, I would have booked elsewhere. There should be alerts shown to customers before they book that the only elevator is not working. I also encourage Ramada to enforce a dress code for staff checking in guests; I was not impressed with the sweat pants and bad attitude that greeted me.

The concierge was amazing and super helpful with all of our questions and requests, from the best place to order a pizza to the hotel to asking for extra shampoo and conditioner for the room. The experience was superior to stays I’ve had in tue past at other establishments. Highly recommended!!

We left and glad we used a 3rd party so we were able to get our money back. We will never stay at Ramada or a Wyndom property again. Bonvoy Marriott was the best in Harrisburg, PA we found.
