The room needs updated. You can feel the springs thru the mattress. The walls are thin & you can hear thru them.
I found a cake of soap hardened & dry stuck to the ledge of the shower right next to where they tucked the shower curtain. It's obvious they did not wipe down the walls at all. Also found hair stuck to the wall. Gross!!

Place is dated, but mostly clean. I booked a room with a king size bed 2 months in advance, when my husband and I arrived we were given a room with 2 full size beds and told that our booking app must have been responsible for the error. Then said that that only have 1 king room and it is out of order. Beds were not comfortable at all, but the shower was hot and had good pressure. No ice anywhere to be found, so keep that in mind.

the staff at the desk when I checked in was friendly but the toilet in my room wasn’t even attached to the floor. I told them that it wasn’t leaking but I needed to make her aware so I wasn’t charged for damages and they advised that they were aware and that all the rooms were pretty much like that because of shotty work done by the contractor.

I read in other reviews that the free breakfast was a joke so I wasn’t expecting much. Don’t go to this hotel if you are expecting a normal hotel breakfast. My family and I stayed there because I was able to get three rooms for the price of 1 room at another Hershey Hotel. You get what you pay for… that’s the best that I can say about the hotel experience. The staff seemed disinterested and the rooms were what you would expect for $47 a night. If you just need a place to crash after going to the park all day this place is ok, but I would probably not stay there again.

The hotel was all right I think a lot of hotels need to get rid of their carpeting it's very nasty, stained and dirty just like in our room. We were given a handicap room which I don't understand besides the fact that I requested a king size bed when I booked the room. Nonetheless the room was all right no bag for the ice bucket, no cups in the room our bathroom sink look like it was detaching off the wall and when I kind of pushed it back it knocked it off the pipe so I had to put the bucket underneath the sink to catch the water I let the front desk personnel know he seen it and basically said to leave the bucket underneath the sink and he'll have maintenance look at it but not that day another day. 🙄 I like that the windows actually open I like to have fresh air in the room. We couldn't find the ice machine. The shower curtain had mold on it there's an easy solution to that either wash the curtain or buy PEVA mold resistant shower curtain. I spent the whole day at Hershey and when we came back there was no parking in the front so I had to park in the back there was a customer coming out to get something from his car and I asked him if we needed the key to get into the back door and he said no and rightfully so there is no key entry in the back which mean anyone can come into the hotel and the biggest problem that I had with this hotel which would probably make me not booked again with Super 8 is there's NO POOL..... Fall and winter fine but summer and no pool not good.

When we arrived the bathroom in the room was filthy, hair black dirt etc. Then they moved us to a 2nd room that had food and bugs over the floor, then they mived us to a 3rd room that was not even cleaned, the bed was not made and there was trash overflowing in the trash can. We had no other choice but to go back tobthe first room after the front desk clerk cleaned the tub. We stayed in that room 116 were the tub drained slow. It was just horrible. The Manager, Juan when we complained the next morning could care less. Would never ever stay there again.

In our room the AC didn’t work , the bathroom had plumbing issues with the drain in the shower and sink . There was also an exposed nail under the bathroom sink that was dangerous. There was an off smell throughout the hotel. The window in the room was broken. When we discovered these things after checking in we went to the front desk but there was no one around and we had to leave for a while and came back late and we just wanted to go to bed. We hadn’t realized the AC was truly broken til through the night and the how bad the issues were in the bathroom until later that night. We only stayed one night and would not stay there again.

Now, the room itself was dirty. The floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed properly. There were stains on the floor in multiple places. The bedside table and tv stand had sticky drink rings on them. They were definitely not wiped down very well, if at all. The bathroom door didn't shut fully unless you applied some force to shut it, and then you had a hard time opening it back up. The main room door didn't open and close very well either. I had to use some force to open it from the outside on multiple occasions.

Along with small liquor bottles. Wallpaper was coming off in multiple places. The stairwell looked like it hadn't been touched for a long time.

The manager was very helpful and always available. Issues where my key cards kept shorting out after a day(they were kept seperate from everything in my wallet) so it was annoying to have to get new ones each day. Also would've loved to have room cleaning each day.

The room was dirty, with food on the floor and smelled of urine in areas. When checking in I was repeatedly asked if I had a reservation cause they didn’t take walkins and they were full. I never said anything to management to be honest cause we were exhausted and just wanted to make due and leave asap and didn't think we could get anything else if they were full. My feet stuck to the floor when checking in and the room wasn't better. Our smoke detector in our room was covered with a bag and looked smashed in, the hall way to out back smelled horrible and the wallpaper or whatever it was, was peeling and falling off. I understand this is a older place and don't expect it to be like brand new but this was horrible. I don't understand how the rating was so high thru this site when I booked it.

Overall this would be a 2.5/3 star hotel maximum. We arrived at 11pm and went inside and had to wait for 5 minutes before anyone came out. After using the phone to call the number several times. When we got up to the room we found two double beds instead of queens. The rooms were very dated. The blankets felt like curtains and the beds were uncomfortable. A light fixture was broken. The bathrooms were small but it was the back of the door that was dirty which was the problem, overall it was just not cheap enough for it to be a place to stay again with the condition of the hotel. Also the breakfast was not anything special.

Got to the hotel at 7 pm. Front desk lady sleeping on couch, took like 15 hello to wake her up. We booked two room side by side one room key didnt work she was going to call her manager. An hour laterci asked if we were getting a key she again was on the couch watching her ipad. No she said i can change your room. Yes please. So unprofessional.

Easy check in and the front desk was very helpful, although the parking was not ideal it was conveniently located near stores and some fast food restaurants. The rooms and lobby could use updating and a weird musky smell in the lobby. The room and bathroom were clean but probably could use a deep clean and dusting along with better vacuum, but for the price and last minute reservation it was a overall great stay!
