Breakfast was pitiful! Not a full breakfast, a skimpy continental breakfast and not what is stated on their amenities!
Our room was to have a walkin shower (as shown on website) and it was just a shower/tub and a hand held sprayer that struggled to work! SO DISAPPOINTED - there was a gym?

No complaints about the room, was more clean and organized than expected,

KEY CARD...was a very big problem. Every time I returned to my room key wouldn't work. I had to return to the front desk EACH time to reactivate my card. It became annoying after the third and fourth time.

STAFF...some of the front desk were not friendly or cordial at all.

Staff was kind and helpful, room was ok, not dirty but maybe just old so it seemed not the cleanest. Parking lot is a bit sketchy and there was some trash littered in the snow. The room next to us was smoking weed most of the night and it made our room reek. Price was the cheapest around and if you’re fine with the potential of a smell it’s doable for the price. I think next time I’d pay a bit more but was OK for the time being where we were even if it was a bit uncomfortable because of the surroundings (bed was very comfortable though!). Oh, and the shower floor was soft - maybe the wood underneath was rotten so it sunk a little bit when stepping on it.

Right now the Days Inn Grantvill front desk rep says it’s okay for rooms 214, 215, & 217 to be wide open for housekeeping.

The kind excellent housekeeping staff is not working on these rooms right now.

Housekeeping is working in the other side of the building near room 312 - a long dustance away.

This means this hotel is NOT secur, not SAFE for all including Housekeeping & guests.

Someone other than housekeeping has attempted to enter my room #313! with a housekeeping or management all-access key.

Only the latch stopped them. I had to forcible shut my door.

This front reception clerk Brag/Reg(spelling? uncertain because this man’s thick accent) insists that this is safe & okay!

Additionally this it is below freezing - 13 degree and he cares not about keeping all rooms warms. A heavy ice:snow storm is coming today as well as near ZERO temperatures.

I can never reach Days Inn corporate for help.

First room we were given was terrible. The bed was not put together fully, curtains missing from windows, and room missing furniture. Also this is supposed to be a smoke free facility and the room smelled like an ashtray. The outside had garbage all around the motel. Went back was given another room with stuff laying all around going to the stairs had to walk over and when we got into the room there were stains all in the carpet the furniture was falling apart and you could hear every word from the gust down stairs. The pictures online are nothing like what the property looks like. We went back and the lady working tried to give us another room but after two, we got a refund and chose another hotel.

They keep the HEAT OFF ,,so when I check in I have 30 degree temp in my room until 5 hours later it takes the HEATER 6 hours to be warm in the room ,,and the toilet does NOT flush with power !!! it takes 3 flush times !!!

The only positive was our bed was clean. It was loud and noisy all night. We had to change rooms 2 times. The 3rd room still didn’t have a working thermostat. The water for a bath had a governor on it. Luke warm water after a minute. And the breakfast was an absolute joke. You could make whole wheat toast or get a bowl of Froot Loops or raisin bran and I think they have a selection of one kind of yogurt that was it. The coffee was extremely watered down. The whole place just seemed like they were cutting every possible corner to keep it open. Extremely disappointed and Days Inn should be ashamed to have their name on that marquee.

The carpet by the bedside was not fully vacuumed as there were leftover crumbs from a previous stay. In my room, 315, the refrigerator condensation was actually leaking outside the refrigerator, and onto the carpet. Everything else was great.

If youre going just to staybthebnight like i did, its fine. The bed is comfortable. The mini fridge worked. Parking was good. The room it self was pretty rough. The photos that used to hang were no longer there but the holes were. The shower was gross like scuzzy. The bathroon light needed to be on all night ( and fan ) due to some weird banging noise if it was off. The remote was sticky. Breakfast was some muffins and random bread on a plate, no gluten free options. But overall it was ok.wouldnt take my family there for vacation.

People above us running and jumping called to complain but they didn't stop. Then the Ceiling in bathroom fell down.
Was moved to another room and the keys didn't work. Attendant had to use a key to open door. This made it so we could not come and go.

Check-in was no problem, but our room had no running water. They fixed that while we went out. However, when we returned our key-cards had stopped working. When I went to the office their response was, “well, don’t keep the key card with your cellphone.” First off, I did not have the key-card in the pocket with the cellphone, secondly why blame your customer for the issue?

I was not able to turn on the heating/ac wall unit. I poked every button on it and it was dead. I thought it was broken. When I checked out yesterday I mentioned it to the workers when I got coffee. They said I needed to activate another separate device similar to a fuse box it sounded like. I did not see such an item anywhere and even if I did I would not have known what it was for. I have never heard of anything so obnoxious.
I was loading my items in my vehicle and when I tried to go back in my room I fell down outside. My foot had hit something and when I looked down I noticed that there was a 3 inch rise where the blacktop met the cement in front of my room door. There should be a level approach to it.

I have stayed at that hotel quite often but I am probably not
going there again. I also probably left my extension cord to my Coleman refrigerated cooler in my room when I checked out the last time. I would have thought they would have sent it to me after they called me to see if it was mine. But NO. That would mean they would have to pay postage to mail it. I asked them if they had found items what they did with them and they said they only kept them for 3 months and then they threw them out. I didn't know the other half of that cord was missing until I used it this time. When it goes in my vehicle it gets plugged into the built in outlet in the rear of my vehicle. I think all vehicles have one.
These 3 issues are enough to make me not return.

For the price, this place was an excellent deal. Staff was super helpful, and the bedding and beds were new and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We were able to park right in front of our room. Outside is a little dated but kept well and right next to the highway but quiet. I would stay here again

The cleaning staff were very kind and friendly. However, the front desk staff were quite dry and sometimes had an attitude or seemed indifferent. I asked for a favor the night before to do a late check-out, and they said yes, but the next day they wanted to charge us and make us leave even though we had agreed the night before.
The food was okay, nothing special but fine. The rooms are comfortable, just keep in mind that you might get one that smells like marijuana or has something broken, like our shower. Also, the air conditioning didn’t cool well.
For one night it’s fine, but it’s not worth it for more days.

When we arrived late at night they put us in the very back of the hotel where it looked like someone was moving out of one of the rooms. There was furniture and baby items (a high chair dropped on its side) out in the parking lot.

When we drove up I didn't think it looked like photos. There was abig new hotel beside so it didn't compare. BUT I was pleasantly surprised. For the price, it is clean, neat, didn't smell, staff were super friendly. Or room was on ground which is preferable. Room was clean, free of smell, bathroom and shower clean. The freezer in mini frig was completely blocked with ice but I think it was because the door was not completely closed. But frig was clean.
I'm often having appointment at Hershey medical and we live 163 miles away. It's necessary to take aroom overnight and I can't afford expensive. Finding a hotel that is affordable and clean is a help.
It's 20 min from hospital but the drive isn't bad. It is just couple miles from casino. There is a Dollar store, farmers store, sheetz, restaurant close.

The stay was OK. Our bathroom smelled and we assume it was the tank.
My main issue is that there was a letter about a E. coli water issue, but the letter was only found on one of the doors! I did not like this and explained the issue to the worker it should have been posted at other locations. He said all was good and the issue was taken care of.
Overall, you get what you pay for and we will drive a little further for more value next time.

When we arrived, the place looked very dated like an old motel. Once we received our room key, we entered to find what looked like it was straight out if a horror movie. I didnt feel safe there. The door didn't close tight, the beds were filthy and when i pulled back the sheets, found dirt and hair the bed. The trashcans had garbage in them, there was pee on the floor in the bathroom, a cockroach in the corner by the bathroom door, and a slick oily film on everything. We went to the front to request a new room. We were then given a new room with 2 full sized beds and this time was worse. The beds werent made, the bath towls appeared used, garbage in the trash cans and a used condom. We immediately went to the front desk to request a cancelation and a refund. The man at the front desk was very polite and helpful, but the condition of the property and rooms were unacceptable. Don't stay here!

It was close to Hershey and pet friendly, that's about the only positives. The room was spacious but there were live bugs everywhere- crickets, flies, beetles etc. Probably need to close the door when they clean the rooms. One side of the bathroom wall was torn off, exposing what looked like mildew or mold. The drain wouldn't go down in the shower and there were four of us that needed showers so that was gross. We booked two nights and ended up not staying the 2nd night because the shower issue was unresolved.
The area around the Days Inn was unkempt. Rusting truck trailers, trash bags, old toilets. Next door was a Tru by Hilton, also pet friendly. If they had room, I wouldve gone there. Even my young kids described the room and hotel as sketchy and scary.

Pictures show renovated rooms, unfortunately ours was very low quality. The breakfast options not good. Parking was good I guess and close to hersheypark about 15mins. A dirty toenail on the floor, mold growing under the sink, bathroom damaged, dirty carpet, tv never worked and when it did all movies are in another language. Would never stay here again

It was quiet until the guest in the next 2 rooms down from us showed up... Car alarm woke us up. then the locking of the cars over and over and the screaming people and children crying. It was late and went on for a long time and this happen 2 night.(friday and saturday). This hotel is convenient to the interstate. And we have stayed here before.

It was a decent place to sleep. Employees were nice. Rooms could use some updating and a good deep cleaning. Tub was very slow to drain and had to flush toilet two times every time even for just going #1. Nothing is perfect. Beds were very comfortable which was all I was truly concerned with. Didn't take advantage of the free breakfast. But yes I would stay again.

This is a tired old motel. Our room had obviously been a smoking room at some point and still had that faint smell of old cigarettes that never goes away. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and our plans changed so we booked a couple of weeks in advance for 1 night. Every hotel in the area was incredibly overpriced and many had 2 night minimums. This was a bit cheaper than some other places and had decent enough reviews. It was grossly overpriced for a tired old motel - but I should have spent more for a better place.

The room and property were decently well-kept. The fixtures are very outdated but everything seemed clean. We found the king bed to be very comfortable.
This place is half the price of the Holiday Inn across the street and that place is rough.
