We found bed bugs as soon as we check in so we left the hotel before even unpacking. The person at the counter was very nice about it and was sorry and told us to call hotel.com to get refund because he couldn't issue it. I will find out if hotel.com will honor that. We had to find another place to stay last minute.

Had roaches, no privacy in bathroom because blinds were broke tried fixing it with cardboard but didn't work, ceiling looked broke maybe water damage and had mold smell. No mattress protector only very thin sheet on bed, pillows were obviously very dirty and stained. Not worth the money!

The furniture looks like they picked it from the side of the road, no plastic covers under the sheets revealing so many stains you would think Dexter stayed there or someones colostomy bag broke…we only stayed in the room long enough to google the next closest hotel and walked out!

The photos are deceiving. We books a room with a king bed and when we checked in they gave us a room with 2 double beds. Signs say no smoking but both blakets had multiple burn holes in them. Stains on the sheets, a bug crawling across the floor, stains on the side of the tub. We stayed approximately 15 minutes before we decided to leave.

Got in room and sat on edge of bed and it collapsed. The legs on the frame gave out. I weigh 195 pounds. Went to office to tell him and he gave me a key to another room . I opted that door and there were people in the room. Ended up taking the bed frame out and put the mattress on the floor to sleep in the original room. Disaster.

Absolutely horrible. I went into the stay with the mentality of “oh sweet I found a nice cheaper hotel for an overnight stay!” Little did I know, the two rooms I booked came with two keys that unlocked EVERY room on the floor. I asked for a refund due to the safety concern that my key could open every door on the floor. The man at the desk REFUSED even to hear the word refund and wiped my keys so they only worked for my specified rooms. But what’s to stop other programmed keys from opening my door while I’m gone? Absolutely not happy with this. Took the hit for this hotel and got another one because myself and my girlfriend had safety concerns.

The beds were comfortable, but the bathroom. Not properly cleaned and the water didn't drain in the shower. Both my son and I were ankle deep in water! Had to keep the shower pressure low to drain properly. The toilet also didn't flush well. We were scared to do anything more than urinate!

Place is falling apart. Black mold all over the bathrooms and tiles that lead out. Horrible smell of cat pee, feet, and cigarettes it’s unavoidable. Peephole for the room had tissue stuffed in bc it was broken. Smoke alarm not working. Place is just a hazard

We were to check in at 4. There was no one there to check us in, then we were told to wait 10 mins which turned into 30 mins. Then we weren't given the correct room that we prepaid for, the lady on the phone ask if we could wait 15 mins more and she would take care of it. Meanwhile we were headed to Hershey at 5, so waiting was not an option. Just a bad experience. The room was ugh. We will not be staying again!

Room, table surfaces and linens were all dirty. Between the towels being small and see through they all had stains on them. The bedspread as well had visible staining. The toilet in the bathroom constantly ran to refill the leaking tank. Anytime the toilet was running the sink and shower would only produce scalding water - was burned in both the sink and shower because of this. The smoke detector was completely missing. Would not recommend.

So I stayed at the cocoa country inn motel- room #313 two queen beds because of reviews that i read I brought memory foam,sheets,pillow and a blanket-it definitely helped and as a result my bed was comfortable( otherwise the bed wouldnt have been comfortable).The floors were hard wood flooring which were clean -the bathroom was clean enough - furniture outdated-air conditioning kept the room nice and cold . The owner was very nice & accommodating. If housekkeping would bump up their game & really deep clean the whole building -the reviews would improve & I would go back -its little things like dirty coffee maker , sink wasnt the cleanest ,sheets had a hair (which again I used memory foam) -over all it does have potential

Listen, you get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly upon check in but nowhere to be found in the evening. The room was outdated but more concerning was that the floors were sticky and dirty- we walked around with socks and shoes all weekend. The beds were made but the room by no means was cleaned at the end of the day. On a positive note, The inn is conveniently located just a few minutes from Hershey Park.

When my family arrived we tried being optimistic. The customer service guys were friendly. We we went to the entrance the door opened without a key so anyone could come in. The room key didn't work. After exchanging it we were disgusted by the overwhelming smell of the hallway and room. Looking around the room there were stains on the bed, the outlets weren't secure. We called Hotel.com to get a refund and transfer to another hotel. We were told to talk to the customer service. They weren't going to refund and tried to give us another room. The one room smelled like smoke. The next was was slightly better smelling. The vent in the bathroom was on with tape. The window to outside was missing a latch so anyone could come in. The family was disappointed. One good thing is the location is close to Hershey Chocolate World l, Museum, and Park.

There is absolutely nothing that I liked about this place. It literally makes a crack shack look like the Buckingham Palace in comparison. When I entered the room, there were 2 bottles of bedbug spray on the desk, accompanied by 2 dirty ass rags. There were no sheets, no blankets, and the no smoking room i requested smelled like an ashtray. I walked into the office and was asked if it was okay. He offered another room that was not quite as dirty but none the less, it was unacceptable by any means. I immediately left the room and called expedia for a full refund.

Check in was fine but when we went into the entrance door there was a strong odor. We came into the room and the window was open, no screen, and had to wrestle it to lock it. It seems as though people live here, kids running around and people sitting in the hallway. It was cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. Thank god it’s just one night.

Waiting on a refund from Expedia for false advertising. The front door to the rooms was unlocked and there was no one to monitor who was coming/going. Then when my room key didn't work, they produced five or more keys and just kept trying until one worked. The unknown lock situation was scary, the hallways were dirty, nothing appeared as advertised and no one spoke English so we couldn't resolve any issues.

Place needs an hourly rate.

We booked this place as just somewhere to sleep after a concert.

Pretty antiquated place. Parking is tight. The lot in front of our unit had 1 way in and no way out. (Without going against the directions painted on the driveway.)

Buildings are not labeled. So good luck finding your room without directions. Hallways were not Air Conditioned. Room was clean for the most part. Toilet was so small. Mini Fridge had a frozen quart of milk in it. The beds were overly soft. Very cheap mattresses, no support, thread bare bedding.

The worst part was there was no smoke detector in the room. Clear fire hazard. Looks like it was removed (with wires hanging out of the wall and all) and never replaced.

One of us was fine to make the 2+ hour drive home after the concert. So we elected to leave and not spend the night.

This would be fine if we were desperate. But I would not go there for any longer than 1 night.

When I booked on hotel.com I requested non-smoking.. the room we received smelled like an ashtray left in a car in Death Valley for a month and the fire detector was taken down. When I called and asked if they had another room available, I was told no BUT when I went down to the office and told them that we couldn’t stay in that room because my daughters asthma was acting up and we needed a refund.. ALL of a sudden they had another room and it did smell like a non- smoking room. They definitely over charged because they knew it was a lacrosse tournament.

Bathroom was gross, hair on the floor and mystery substances on the walls. Garbage wrappers and empty pack of cigarettes in the desk drawer. Ancient microwave and hair dryer was ancient and gross, cord was all in knots. Man was in his pajamas when I returned the room keys to the office, open sign was on but door was locked and he opened the door just enough for me to pass the keys through. He didn’t care to ask how the stay was, probably because they know their rooms are gross. We had requested an infant bed/crib and it was never supplied even though it states clearly when you book a room that they are available upon request.

I’m staying here for a few weeks while looking for a rental. It’s quiet, cheap, convenient and is a nice place to sleep at night. The views are great. I haven’t seen a single bug inside the room. The beds kinda really suck for long term but are okay in a pinch. Also the remotes don’t work. Is what it is.

(They have a pet fee of $25/night. Just a heads up since they don’t outline it.)

DO NOT STAY HERE! I know price makes it tempting.

Do not stay at this property. I know it seems appealing because of the price, but do not do it. At check-in, employee seemed confused and did not speak English. The room was in the \"hotel\" building, which is run down, smelled of mold and was very dated. Trash on floor, very unclean. Room smelled horribly of smoke, even though resort is \"non-smoking\". There was no towels, wash cloths or even toilet paper. We had to ask for those. They gave us towels, but we had to get our own TP. Sheets on both beds were soiled and dirty, and the only blanket is the thin comforter and a single wool blanket they left on the table, despite there being 2 beds. No phone to call front desk, but when you did, no one answered anyway. When you walk up, there was often a sign on the door saying \"will return in 10-15 minutes\". The room was very dirty, and we nearly asked to leave immediately, but decided we would stick it out. That evening, one of our group became ill and nauseous from the smell of the room, so we asked to checkout a day early. We received no help from the front desk, as they spoke little to no English, and literally kept trying to book us a room which I must admit was a little amusing. Long story short, we were given no refund for the 2nd night by the hotel or hotels.com which was very disappointing. Just pass this place by. Trust me, im not a room snob. I have stayed in many cheap hotels, and this one was one of the worst. Try your luck elsewhere.

Just needs maintenance

This is an older motel. With that being said, the room appeared clean but with cigarette
burns in carpet. Beds were comfortable. Pool was nice. When i used the restroom, the toilet wouldn't flush. I lifted the tank lid and there was no water in it. I filled it so it would flush and the rank refilled. I assumed it was fine. We went out. That night the same thing happened again but since it was the middle of the night we didn't call anyone. My sister in law told them when we checked out. All in all it is not bad just needs maintenance and spme updating

Killed 2 spiders while taking a shower.Before trying to get some sleep had to kill what looked like a roach crawling on the wall near a/c. So creeped out slept with the lights on! would not recommend anyone staying here until they did serious deep cleaning. Out of about a hundred of hotel rooms ive stayed at over the years this one was the worst for the price. I would not stay here ever again especially at over $150+ a night. Pictures of property were deceiving not what it turned out to be.
