Nice check in. Pleasant staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. It’s a vintage hotel with lots of charm. A nice change from a standard chain motel. We enjoyed the difference. There is a train that goes by periodically but no whistles.

We booked this place last minute on Thanksgiving while driving through - decided we wanted to experience Hershey and continue on in the morning. It was about $50 which was a great price for Thanksgiving night.
The woman at the desk was super friendly, gave us some quick history about the place and got us checked in fast before we ran off to see what we could do in the area.
It's a motel vibe which we actually said the next day we preferred over a big name hotel. Our room had 2 queen beds - spacious for the two of us. TV, microwave, mini fridge etc. The bathroom was updated too. I saw a review that said there were no shelves in the showers but ours had 3 shelves so just FYI.
We were on the first floor and the people above us sounded like they were rearranging furniture until 5 am but we eventually popped earbuds in. Parking was easy - right outside our door. It was cold but there were patio chairs and a table outside with an ashtray.
Super clean, cool old historic building, beds were comfortable. We bring our own pillows and blankets cause we never know what we're going to walk into but this was a great stay.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was decorated so nicely. Didn't really feel like a motel and you couldn't beat the price. Staff were friendly and it's really close to Hershey Park. Only complaint was you could easily hear the people above you walk around and the doors shutting in the rooms near us, which woke us up a few times, but I feel like that's fairly common in any hotel/motel. Would absolutely stay here again.

The Motel is a little Ma and Pa type business. The rooms and bathrooms have a vintage feel. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff at front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

You can’t find a more perfect location! T’he Motel is dated but it is a true classic and has amazing charm. We found this place on a whim, but now we can’t wait to bring the kids back and enjoy this piece of history over a longer stay. All of the staff that I encountered were overly cheerfull, but you could tell it was 100% genuine!!

However, the web pics are misleading as I booked an apartment for 5 of us and what I got were two beds in the entrance room of the \"apartment\" and a futon in the kitchen; the \"apartment\" is two rooms and a bathroom. Zero insulation in this place as I could hear water dropping on the tin roof outside all day and night; and the walls shook when closing the door and it sounded like a herd of cattle stomping around in the room above us all night. While they normally charge 500 deposit for an apartment rental (i paid 100 brcause u wasnt told). Carpeting is outdated and stained. This motel is on a main street and nearby businesses are within walking distance. The place is rather quaint. The beds were extremely comfortable with lots of pillows. The shower was awesome too. The motel was very convenient to a lot of restaurants. The building looked older but the accommodations were decent. The only complaints i have is there was not enough outlets to plug in our devices. The outlets they did have worked off of the main power switch and all the lights had to stay on in order to use them. Second, the beds were hard as a rock. It was hard to sleep because the bed were so hard and the pillows were super thin. Finally, the air conditioner didn't work well until we put our fan by it and helped the air circulation. All in all it was a nice stay and I'd definitely visit again.
