The toilet had dried urine drops and brown streaks on the bowl. The ceiling is crumbling, along with being coated in cobwebs. There is no continental breakfast despite showing there is. Desk clerk said there was coffee and hot chocolate though. But there was no jot chocolate for our little ones. The door to the \"breakfast area\" was locked at 730 am. Had to beat on the door to ger the clerks attentiion to open it.

BED BUGS! I booked this hotel without reading the reviews because I mistook it for a hotel in the area I had stayed at before. Realized my mistake as soon as we got there. The place is definitely run down and sketchy. Was nervous about leaving anything in my car. The closed door had a gap you could nealy fit a finger through. My room was missing a microwave and fridge which the staff did quickly replace but the replacement fridge didn't work and they had to bring me a new one later. I could see faint stains on the white bedspread. Dirt in every corner. But the worst was later in the evening while sitting on the edge of the still made bed when I noticed a small bug crawling on my leg. I reached out and tried to squish it with my finger but it didn't die. Picked it up and squished it against the night stand, but it was still moving. Google \"bed bugs\" to confirm my suspicion and that's exactly what it was! The only good thing I can say about this place is the staff I interacted with were friendly and accommodating, from getting me a microwave and fridge, then replacement fridge, to FULLY refunding my three day reservation they were great.

Do not stay here. Especially if you have small children. The pictures do not show how the place actually looks. I have never seen a hotel room as dirty as this. Floor was filthy, beds were stained and it smelled horrible. We did not end up staying here. As soon as we saw the conditions we grabbed our stuff and left. We did not know this hotel was in a bad area of town. People yelling and fighting with each other, and just super sketchy things going on. The only positive side is the man running the front desk was super nice and didn’t even question me when I told him we couldn’t stay there. He just went ahead and canceled the reservation for us. We left and found a much nicer place in a better part of town.

I really wanted to like this hotel because the staff I met were polite and check-in was smooth, but unfortunately the room conditions made for a very unpleasant stay. The air-conditioning unit in my room was completely broken, leaving it hot and stuffy all night.
Even more concerning, I discovered the room was infested with bed bugs. Because of this, I had no choice but to leave the property altogether. This was alarming and completely unacceptable for any guest.
Another issue was safety, there are people who live there live there.
I reported the issue right away, but the experience overshadowed any positives. I truly hope management addressed the cleanliness and maintenance problems, but until then I cannot recommend staying here.

The hotel is good for a short stay, the only thing I was so disappointed is when booking the room it says that breakfast is offered. In the morning I woke up and I went downstairs and I asked the person in the reception where is it, he said that they stop serving breakfast more than a year. There is false advertising, they should update what this hotel offers.

I stayed at the Days Inn in Harrisburg and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff was amazing — very accommodating, welcoming, and hardworking. Big shoutout to Angie in the laundry room and the entire management team for keeping things running smoothly.

The rooms were decently clean when I arrived, but I did a little cleaning myself just to be comfortable. The hotel is pet-friendly, which was a huge plus. There’s a large open grassy area on the left side of the building, great if your dog is trained to stay in the area — mine wasn’t, so leash was definitely needed.

A lot of long-term residents stay there, but it still works great for short and temporary stays. Plenty of parking, no issues there. Also a sweet bonus — Wendy’s is literally right next door, super convenient!

A couple things to note: There is no gym, even though it was advertised. The lobby is pretty simple, with just a coffee machine. Vending machines are in the laundry room. Not too much for amenities, but enough if you’re just passing through.

If you stay in the front part of the building, you’ll get a beautiful sunset view — definitely a highlight.

Overall, great for a simple, temporary stay with accommodating staff, pet-friendly options, and solid convenience. Thumbs up to the team for keeping the place together! 👍

You get what you pay for as the saying goes. The room smelled terrible as I had read in other reviews. There was a chair in the room that was stained and well used. Lots of dirt on the floors and it looked like the floors had not been washed, as you could see lots of footprints on arrival. The microwave was broken. There was no lighting in the staiwells after dark. The door/doorjamb did not line properly there was a gap allowing for draft and lots of noice from the traffic.
On a positive note, all staff I interacted with were pleasant!

This was a room that made you want to keep one eye open at all times. I have photos that would make anyone not ever want to stay there. We stayed on the second floor. The outside door had about an inch gap from under the lock all the way to the floor. You could see daylight. The ceiling and walls had paint peeling off. No Kleenex nor small water cups available in the room. The floor hadn't been swept in who knows how long. The exhaust vent in the bathroom had black mold and dust bunnies hanging down. The bathroom door did not even close due to the hinge at the top not solidly connected. I thought it might fall off at any closing. There were all kinds of sketchy crud on the walls of the bathroom sink area and again mold in the corners of the tub. The refrigerator had at least two inches of frost all over the freezer unit as that had never been touched. It was a non-refundable room & late in the day when we arrived so we stayed. I honestly am not sure why the place has been allowed to stay open.

When I arrived, the gentleman was having an issue on how to check me in because I used a different card to pay for the room vs one on file in case of damage. He called the owner/manager who came quickly and was able to correct and get me checked in. The front desk gentleman & manager/owner were great. I got the room key which was marked 304, my daughter & I took the elevator & It sounded & shook something awful. We get off & walk to room 304, use the key I open the door & bam a naked man & woman are in the room. I apologize, shut the door quickly, I take the elevator back down go back to the front desk, let him know someone was in room 304 naked. They should have had all locks & a sign on their door, honest mistake. So he said I am so sorry I meant 340. So I get the key go back on the elevator & it gets to the 3rd floor and it stops, then the door opens maybe an inch to inch and 1/2. Will not open, a little boy standing in front of the elevator trying to help me open the door more, cause at this point my hear is racing like crazy. He said push door open or door close. Before I could the door closed goes back down, then opens. I tell the lady standing there who is the housekeeper don’t use it door would not open. Get to our room, go to leave and find out the door wouldn’t lock when we got back & didn’t need a key. Then as we left the next morning I pass someone on the balcony in front of their room smoking pot. I have vowed not to come back.

This property has been converted into a low income residence with visible signs of illegal activity. After checking in with concern, we decided to ask for refund after driving around the rear of the property and didn't even go into room. I hope they honor the refund request (we will see). This location should be removed as an option by Expedia.

Based on Pictures this was going to be a half decent place to lay our head for the night but when we arrived it was not worth staying. Bugs in the room. Mold in the bathroom. Spiders everywhere. I mean everywhere! Huge Orb Weavers everywhere we walked. I understand this is located along the river and youll have extra insects but its evident there was no cleaning of the outdoor hallways and rails. The Horrible Weed smell that just engulfed the whole property was enough for me and my small children to forfeit our paid night cost and find somewhere safer and alot cleaner and we sure did. Employee at check in was nice but never bothered to ask why we were checking out after a few hours when we were booked for 2 nights. Safe yourself some grief and avoid this place if you can afford to stay somewhere else.

Me and my family took a trip to Hershey park and decided to stay at Days Inn because it was affordable. Why did we do that, they had big spiders on every hall and doorway. Now I understand that it was outside but come on that was a little too much. I felt like I was in a trap hotel. There was flies in every room. Also we booked 4 rooms for 3 nights but only stayed two.

Very old needs revised!

There was a horrible smell when you first opened the door. Realized it was coming from the a/c like damp molding filter. The curtains in front window were old and very dirty. No plastic cups at the sink, no trash can by the bathroom. Mold on the ceiling. It was pretty old and truly needs revamped.

This was the worst place ive ever seen. Most of the guest live there. I felt unsae from the moment i arrived. The room was filthy. There was a substance on the door handle that was questionable 😳. I was flipped off by a guest/tenant for no reason going back to my car. I immediately located another hotel and checked out. These rooms and the outside of the building did absolutely not look like the photos provided. The elevator was horrifying and smelled so bad. The place reeked of cigarettes (when it said no smoking) and when we got to our room, there were burn holes in both the comforter on the bed, and the curtains. Strange stains on the lamp shades, our door hardly closed, and the AC unit had a huge puddle underneath it- and you could see outside next to the unit. My friend and I didn't even stay for 20 minutes, we were too uneasy.

Roaches came out the smoke detector. The stairwell smelled like human pee. There was trash lining the outside wall of the second floor. The carpet in our room was moist in the weirdest way. The piece of carpet by the front door smelled like human pee. The bed was clean and so was the bathroom. That’s why I gave it 3 stars bc the parts that mattered the most in the room were clean. Guy at the front was kind. I don’t know but it seems like people live there so it seems more run down than other days inn we’ve stayed at.

The door did not lock when closed unless you used the deadbolt. You could literally push the door right open without the use of a key. Cobwebs on the walls, hair in the shower, mold covering the bottom on the shower curtain. The surrounding area and other guests felt very unsafe.

This property has gone to hell over the years. The first room I was out in had a wet piss spot on the bed, smelled bad, nothing was clean and as a former housekeeping manager the sheets in the bed were stained and yellow and the second room was no better with roaches and a strong piss odor upon entering the room. 10/10 DO NOT RECCOMEND! Do not waste your time or money with this place. People were outside all hours of the night making noise and using drugs. Please don’t stay here.

The place was awful. We had to go out to the store to get disinfecting wipes and Lysol spray. It was so dirty I wouldn't even take off my shoes. The floor was dirty the bedside stand was dirty. Looked like they came in changed the bed and left. The shower linen was in very poor condition. no phone, no coffee maker, no ice machine, this place had nothing. The refrigerator was dirty. Just terrible and I can't imagine Wyndham would want their name on this place.

Ask me if there is one thing good about this place? None. Rooms that are supposed to be private have curtains that don't close. Doors that don't have proper safety in a bad neighborhood. Floors that are just sticky and yuck. Toiletries and towels provided look like they are ready to be used as Rag clothes. Rooms are extremely smelly and the bed even is extremely smelly. Those two things I can't post pictures for the odor. But check it out for the rest of it.

To top it off, if you walk in they charge you premium too! If you book through a reputable site like Expedia, you still get the same kinda bad room. This is my 3rd bad experience here. I thought the first 2 were accidents, but no. On my part, not noting down which hotel I had a bad experience with in my previous visit is my fault. But I am never coming back to this place. Just dirty! They don't even sanitize the rooms properly after being used by another customer.

Loud banging on my door overnight with too many shady people hanging outside all night. Not a safe place. I didn't even get a proper night's sleep with this one.

Best to stay away, pay 20$ extra and book decent rooms. This place is a dump and a health hazard.

We have been staying at this property once a year for years and it was fine. Last year it was in poorer condition and no breakfast. This year was worse: no breakfast, not even coffee, no soap, filthy trash can, curtains wouldn't close, not very clean, towels not good, killed a but in the shower. The bed however was clean and comfortable. There so to be not much in the way of maintenance. The location is great for us so this is disappointing.
