Some rooms lights dont work, bails sticking out of floor, you call front desk with an issue they dont come fix it. This property is ran by people who stay here so they don't care. Most the staff is rude and has attitude but its cheap if you need a room and dont have alot of money

This is the second time staying in this hotel, the first trip was perfect, both times I reserved the jacuzzi rooms. The second time the stay was horrible, upon arrival walking into the room there was dead roaches throughout the room. I had the heat set at 90 and the room was cold, the carpet was filthy, around the jacuzzi the wall was missing caulk like they never finished. After a hour or so of being there i started to see roaches crawling up the wall, on the shower curtain and all around the jacuzzi. The first time staying i had a room in the 200 area, this room was in the 300 area, im not sure why there was such a difference in the rooms. My husband and I really enjoyed our first stay, after the second stay, I dont believe we will be going back.

The room has been neglected. Shower handles loose from wall, Roaches in the bathroom. Terminix was just leaving as we got there to check in, Microwave not working, light on wall next to beds falling off of wall. Not Much lighting - Theres a reason to keep your room dark. Don't believe the pictures you see. It was my first time, last time and never again time staying there!!!!

Garbage all over outside. Inside spit on mirrors and walls. Fire alarm wired to an open electric box in the wall pretty illegal. And cockroaches and when i demanded a full refund i was only given the days i didnt stay. And I took pics of it all.

Hey got the jacuzzi room it was really hot and comfortable for me and it was really unique in front of the tv it was okay and the best part was the bed was soft comfortable enough I enjoy my stay at Scottish Inn and it’s also very close to highway!

If you can, choose somewhere else

The beds were fine. The chair in the room smelled of urine. There were roaches and mice. The television didn't work. The refrigerator smelled and the freezer was dirty. The air in the room felt damp. The door latch didn't work so the door wouldn't secure from the outside. If we'd had another choice, we would have chosen differently.

Sticky carpets unclean shower place was run down outdated. They want a $50 cash deposit for a disgusting gross hot tub that who knows how many people have done what in. There were three drunk slayer fans in the parking lot blasting metal all night until one in the morning.

Upon my arrival; towel for floor use while showering/bathing was already soaked. When I left Saturday morning, I put the maid service please sign on the outside of the door because I was not sure if I would see any employees out and about on the property. I read within the information provided that the office does not have towels
available. Thinking I would at least have clean, dry towels upon returning that evening, I was surprised and disappointed to see the wet towels in the bathroom still there where I had left them.

Also, I hope the cooling/heating systems are throughly cleaned and serviced regularly however, this might not be the case due to staining on curtains that could be from mold.

The office employees were overall pleasant. Friday evening, there were people in the parking lot playing music extremely loud for a significant amount of time.

Awful Hotel/Inn! Mind the cockroaches

Absolutely Awful Hotel/ Inn, what ever you like to call it, room stunk of god knows what! Didn’t look like the room had been cleaned! Including the Bathroom, had the pleasure of killing two cockroaches at 0400, didn’t go back to sleep, didn’t even stay the second night! Got my $50 dollar deposit and left! Laughable that someone had to check my room for damages! I told them about the roaches and the lack of cleaning, they didn’t seem to care.. quite possibly up there in one of the worst places I have stayed in America! 1/10 and that’s being generous!!

The location was convenient, right off the highway, and the room itself was clean. The surrounding area felt safe and easy to get around, which I appreciated.

However, the service was disappointing. I requested maid service before leaving for the day and placed the service request tag on the door, but when I returned, the room had not been serviced—no fresh towels or attention to the room at all. When I went to the desk, the staff member admitted they saw the tag but avoided the room. I explained I had specifically asked for service and just needed fresh towels. The response was unprofessional—the staff member seemed annoyed, huffed, and only handed me two towels.

Overall, the basics of the stay (clean room, good location) were fine, but the lack of service and poor customer interaction really hurt the experience.

Our room was filthy and had cockroaches. I stayed 3 minutes and went back in to be refunded. The lady at the desk was not very helpful. She offered me a new room but I would have had to pay more because it was a Jacuzzi room. I elected to be refunded and ran out of there.

Would not stay again for a multitude of reasons.
Let's start with the good,
The jacuzzi tub was pretty awesome, very relaxing after a long day, though we did not use the jets so I couldn't attest to that.
The mirrors on the ceiling above the bed and bathtub were a shocking surprise, but appreciated 😆
The bed was very clean super comfortable and had the best blanket ive ever had in a hotel.
They give you plenty of soaps.
The ac blew cold.
The black out curtains made the room so dark I thought it was 4am at 10am.
Now for everything else.
At check in they demand a $50 cash only deposit, which is not mentioned anywhere in the ad for booking companies.
They have signage all over their lobby saying guests are only allowed 3 items each for their breakfast bar, and any additional will be $4 for each item. While I did not eat their breakfast and can see how this would cut down on food waste but it seems barbaric to have ten signs about it.
We walked into our non-smoking room and Got smacked in the face with the smell of weed and cigarettes. There was also a ash tray in our NON SMOKING room.
The carpet in the room was soaking wet from the moment we stepped in our room.
The bathroom had dirt or something smeared all over the walls, the door had a crack on the side that looks like someone tried breaking it down.
Honestly,all of that could have been forgiven but when i went to pee in the morning i looked to my left and there was cockroach sitting on the light switch. Hell nah.

The staff hotel staff was very rude and not at all accommodating to my husband and I situation.0 you're under the impression they were pet friendly because Expedia gave us the search result under filtered results. So we went there and the staff waited until after we checked in and went to our room to bring us down a receipt for a cleaning fee and kicked us out sowe were charged for the RAM and an extra $50 on top because of our pets even though our pets were not even in the room yet my husband and I just unlock the door and each had a bag or two maybe that we took him so we will charge for a room we didn't even stand and a cleaning fee that probably wasn't even need them. We try contacting the manager she said if we call one more time she would call the police.

The place was dirty outdated, and I had a roach when I got ice out of the ice machine felt like something crawling on me. When I tried to take shower, I had standing water in the tub. Would never, ever go there again. This should not be I want expedia.

I selected this motel because it had a 7.0 review number. They have somehow gamed the system. It's disgusting. Furniture stained and 80 years old. I was entirely unsure if my sheets were fresh. There was some kind of terrifying humidy capture bag in the restroom. At 4 am a crowd of violent black people started shouting at each other outside of my door for two hours. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Honestly, the only redeeming quality was the lady at the front desk because she was very nice. The room was dirty (almost all surfaces), there was a giant spiderweb above the jacuzzi, and the light above the jacuzzi flickered like a horror movie.

The property charged my credit card directly as well as Expedia. The hotel, then refunded my car when you called but the day after reverse the refund and I still have to fight with them Then I made a reservation at another room and the date got messed up I have not received either one of those credits on my card yet

Worth the price paid. It was a decent place to sleep and shower while visiting. Its right off the interstate so can be a little noisey but wasn't bad. Checking in late was a little weird but over good experience. We slept too late for the breakfast so not sure what that looked like.

We arrived at hotel. Not at all does it look like the photos on expedia. It has a horror movie vive about it. There was a trap door hidden in the bathroom. Door frames were broken away from front door. Mirrors everywhere just felt like we were being watch. We ended up not staying. Went and got a deposit back. And checked out. Was to nervouse to even ask for money back. Would nit recommend.

It looked good in the pictures on the website. You get there it’s a different story.. I get to the room walked in. It smelled moly air conditioning in the front was falling out walked in. there was wires and construction debris around.the bathroom light didn’t work.In the shower The fan was hanging down from the ceiling. Curtains were dirty. there was poison around the front of the wall in the corners.furniture had cigarette burns

Would never stay again

Bad, smelly, musty rooms. Bugs and flies in the rooms. Bathroom, sink, and shower in bad shape. Worst - rooms did not look like pictures at all. Bed felt wet. Couch had holes in it.

Good for those with electric cars - one on-site destination charger (Level 2).

I will say that in-room fridge, microwave, TV, coffee maker, etc they are trying to offer better service but unless the quality and cleanliness is addressed, not worth staying for me.

Old and badly in need of maintenance. No service!

The motel was passable - not really bad, just not real good either.
The AC worked wonderfully. The bed was soft and sagged.
The building is old, and in need of updates -- floor linoleum peeling up, no electricity near the desk area, poorly laid out (if sitting in the desk chair, the entire path from bed to bath would be completely blocked. TV service was extremely complicated, with 2 remotes, unless you have Netflix membership. The light in the wash area would keep coming on throughout the night, activated by the motion of feet moving in the bed!
The worst was their \"housekeeping service\" policy. The floors were sticky, and they would not clean it while the room was in use. They would not touch the room until your 4th day there (we were there for 3 days, and no service until we demanded clean towels (that's all, just towels), and we got them the next day, none available from the front office, only from housekeeping which is only there until 2 PM.
Their housekeeping policy is written in a curled-up laminated sheet at the front desk(see picture), and an older version is in each room; the older version says that housekeeping is daily.
Breakfast was a joke. Area would only sit 10 people. A pancake machine was the only hot food, and the syrup was watery, apple juice was apple-flavored water. Donuts and yogurt (labelled:1 per person)were available IF you were lucky. Only powdered coffee creamer and NO sweetener! And no fresh fruit!
It wasn't our best hotel, by any means!
