Absolutely disgusting room
The carpet was horrible I wouldn't even put my luggage on the floor. The outlets were coming out of the wall. The shower was filled with black mold and all the faucets were coming out of the wall . The toilet wasn't even attached to the floor. The towels were stained and disgusting..The only plus side is that I didn't wake up with bed bugs

LOVED the front desk clerk Esther. This hotel was the most penny pinching hotel Ive ever encountered. The comtinental breakfast was an absolute joke. 1 bottle of wbole milk to pour over bin kept cereals. Every persons dirty hand openeing and closimg the fhe top. A few yogurts and bananas. Each day there was no oramge juice, and extremely diluted cranberry juice. Tiny coffee cups, pituful bread with one toaster. One day i had no comfortor placed back on the bed. It made me feel like i was a pauper. Sheets werent changed. The ac unit was definitely scheduled to go off at night. If you wanted it at 68° you better turn it down to 58.Each day It seemed to magically program off and not cool anymore by morning. If i came back after a cleaning, the room would be so hot as they automatically placed it to 75° on a hot 95 day. My fridge waa broken. It didn't cool properly and I know this is why i got violently ill. I was keeping food in it for a couple days. I didnt realize the food had been sitting at a temp that still allowed bacteria to grow. I bought a tiny thermometer and sure enough...not even close to being cool enough. My friends room didnt have the fridge on when we arrived so we had to wait for it to cool down. The ice maker was broken in the hall and the sign that said broken looked as though it had been broken for years. Toilet seat was not screwed in at all. You fell forward. Bathroom sink faucet leaked. All makeup and outfit got soaked. Didnt want technicians in my room

Esther checked me in. She was friendly and welcoming and efficient. This property is older and simple, but clean, comfortable, quiet and perfectly located by gas station, McDonald’s, donut shop, KFC and other walkable options. Lots of truckers in their clientele because of easy access to the highway. Perfect for a pre-airport night. Appreciate an affordable option!

Receptionist was wery nice. Room was clean. We stayed in non stoking room, so there were no smell of smoking unlike some other motels we stayed before. Burger King, McDonalds, gas station was across the street.
I believe it was nice place to stay for the price. Nothing fancy. Furniture somewhat outdated, but in proper condition. So if you are traveling and need place to spend a night it is right place to stay.

I would never stay here again. Came to Jersey for my son’s 12 birthday. We checked in in the room the beds were dirty stains all over them hair on the bed. The room had a horrible stench of cigarette smoke. I asked for a clean set of sheets which I was provided with though it took roughly 10 mins to get them. We checked no it the next morning and 5 minutes after leaving I get a calling accusing me of stealing a bed sheet. I immediately come back to the hotel. I showed them that I only used the clean fitted sheet which I had put on top of the one that was already there. My son is standing next to me kindly telling the man that my dad didn’t put any of the blankets or sheets on the bed other than the one because it was dirty we simply turned the heat up so to not get cold. I offered for the man to come and check our belonging as we only had one book bag with our change of clothes for the next day at the amusement park. The man refused and just walked away. A 12 year old was bright enough to say dad I bet they said that just so they don’t have to refund your deposit. I started laughing. A week later and my deposit was still not refunded. This is simply another outdated hole in the wall that’s looking to scam every penny possible.

Best missed concert turn out.

We were going to Hershey Stadium for the Green Day concert which was cancelled due to the singer getting covid, so we just ended up going to Hershey World and doing some tours and making our own chocolate bars. I highly recommend Chocolate World and do the $86 attraction combo, it's worth it if you have kids or you just have an interest in how and what Hershey started and the many wonderful things they are still doing to help out others in the community on a daily basis.

As others have said, this is an older property. HOWEVER, it is VERY clear that these owners take excellent care of the property and have made and are making great updates. Our room was spotless with a very new AC/heat unit, new bathroom fixtures, TV, refrigerator and microwave. The bedding and towels were pristine. This is the ONLY place I have stayed at in the past 4 years where my room was cleaned daily- and I have stayed at a variety of hotels and various price points. Our door was secure with both a dead bolt and a chain. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast area appears to be new/updated as well. The breakfast was modest but more than adequate for anyone- fruit, juices, tea coffee, yogurt, cereal, waffles, toast. There are 2 fast food restaurants in easy walking distance. Ample parking and well lit parking lot. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this to anyone looking for clean, affordable stay. Thank you!

Safe and quiet place to stay

I was greeted by a friendly, delightful woman who expressed concern about me traveling alone as a woman. She confided that a number of nearby motels \"are full of prostitutes\", but assured me that the owner \"won't tolerate that\", so Value Inn was safe (\"the police aren't called here very often.\"). I was a little concerned when I found that my room's door was difficult to close, and I couldn't throw the deadbolt because of the sticky door.

Nevertheless, not only was I safe, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the environment was quiet enough for me to get a good rest before my marathon the following day. The room smelled a little musty, and the furnishings were simple, but Value Inn provided everything that I really needed for a good night's rest.

Very good value hotel for a quick stay. Front Desk Lady was very strange to deal with. The microphone to the outside check in window either doesn't work or nobody knows how to use it. The rooms themselves are dated but clean and otherwise fine. The bathroom is very small so be prepared if you are a larger person.

Low budget crash place to stretch out

It was a good price for the location just off hwy. The room was musty smelling, furnishing very tired and old, 2 night stay left cloths in luggage, breakfast was basic cereal, toast/bagels, three bananas were just placed in fruit basket as husband and I arrived, milk and yogurt. coffee and juice were out in lobby. Only one packet each for coffee in room, if you wanted an extra coffee packet for you and your spouse, good luck. The evening counter person was cheerfully helpful. No elevator, so needed to carry heavy renaissance garb up to second level, not on main floor. Mattress and pillows were very soft ( well used) and in long need of being replaced.

But all this being said, you get what you pay for. If your out for a get away at the Pen Renaissance Fair located at Mount Hope, it worked for low budget.

The location and room were great. It was right off the highway and plenty of retail convenience type stores and places to eat. There was a Walmart just up the street. Fun things to do within 15-20 miles. Tried to get early check-in but it was not available. Also tried to give me the wrong room type when finally allowed to check in. The bed was supposed to be a queen but looked more like a double. However the bed was very comfortable nice and firm. The room was clean. Had to unplug a light and move the microwave in order to plug the microwave in. The refrigerator and microwave were on a plug controlled by the main light switch, so when light switch was turned off the frig and micro were too. The breakfast was shabby but didn’t expect much since the rate was cheap. I liked that they had smoking rooms. Overall it was well worth the price.

The room had a fridge that was a plus i was not expecting. Rooms are small. Bathroom was super small. Area outside the tub in the bathroom is approx 2 feet by 4 1/2 feet. Door misses the toilet by inches. A heavy person would never be able to close the door while they are in the bathroom. The building has an overwhelming stench of stale cigarettes. It is disgusting. I would not stay there again

The property is really a truck stop. Truck cabs park in a parking spot in front of their rooms. All of the rooms are on ground level with a window looking out onto the parking lot. The amenities were very limited in scope. There were not enough electrical outlets for electronics, the lighting was very dim, a mini refrigerator was not standard (it had to be brought into the room if they had one available and multiple electrical outlets were used to support the refrigerator). There also was a hole smashed in the side of the fiberglass bathroom tub. The free breakfast was very minimal. Limited dry cereal options, a few mini pastries and coffee. We are used to non luxury hotel stays, but this place was less than minimal.

Located right off the Interstate making it easy to get to all the places I wanted to visit. McDonalds across the street, Wal-Mart and other places to eat and shop very close by. I will stay here again next year, it's a good hotel for the price. The staff are very nice and the room was clean.

A interesting experience

This place is fine for one or two nights, it was small, but clean. The beds are very uncomfortable, but you are not paying an arm and leg for staying. The main problem we had, was they installed new carpet a few days earlier and did not ventilate it. My wife is allergic to the preservative in it, so she had a reaction to it. The owner/ manager did offer to move us to a room that had not been done yet, but it was already in her system. We left middle of the night and drove home. I don’t blame the hotel for the experience. They would not of known this, nor would I have thought to ask about the carpeting.

the hall ways smell like smoke and our room forever smelled like instant cup of chicken flavored ramen noodles lol. I liked that it had a small continental breakfast and a refrigerator in our room.

at the time it was the cheapest we could do for a last minute booking. (motel 6 was already fully booked). I think there was a concert or something going on Harrisburg that weekend, but it was a little overpriced for the quality of the inn. original price was suppose to be 60$ a day but for what ever reason it was about 80$ for the weekend.

My mistake for booking smoking but...

The room was adequate in size, but the bathroom was miniscule. The door did not shut to the bathroom as well. Upon getting there, there is a 5 day hold on \"incidental fees\" of $50 as well. We tried to air out the room of smoke with the window wide open (opening window with taped screen the only positive here!), but found that the severe smoking smell was actually the top covers on both beds. They were not changed, and probably haven't been between the last few customers. Bottom sheets smelled fresh. Beds themselves were hard, could feel springs, just could not sleep. We left at 11:17pm for a 3 hr drive home instead of trying to pull through the night. It was myself and 2 teenage daughters. We have been traveling since they were babies, in all manners of hotels, motels, campsites, and resorts. This is our first time ever leaving and not roughing it through.

Hotel was outdated but the rooms were clean. There's no elevator so if you're on the second floor, you have to walk up a set of stairs (it wasn't terrible) It's right next to a McDonald's and a gas station. They offer free breakfast but I can't speak on it because we never got to try it out. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom was super small (only a tub/shower and toilet Fit in there - the sink was on the outside of the bathroom) I would stay here again. It's good for a short stay.

We were in the area racing in USAC might week. Needed a place to stay central to all the tracks we were racing at..
Location was perfect with easy access to highways and a 24 hour McDonalds across street so we could eat when we got back late at night.
Hotel is no frills and old but clean and everything worked.
Also had truck parking lot which was made for easy parking with our truck and trailer.
If you are racing at susky and need a place to stay...this will get the job done.

We booked this hotel solely on reviews we saw online. Very leery, we arrived about 1:45 am and went to our room. The room was very clean and the bed was in great condition. Guest services was very pleasant and check in and check out was nice and quick. Breakfast was served every morning from 6-9. Although, we didn't partake, that was very nice. Overall our stay was great and we will use them again if we need to!

Cheap is Cheap..Get what you pay for..very little

When we arrived the room was very warm; air conditioner was on low. It cooled down OK after a few hours. The air conditioner was a bit noisy when sleeping.
The room smelled very bad. We went to the local convenience store to buy air freshner.
We asked for a nonsmoking room, which proved to be irrelevant. The non smoking rooms are in the same halls as the smoking ones, so the smell was there no matter.
The beds came with 2 pillows each, so if you prefer more plan to bring them.
Very hard to believe that the back of the room door said these rooms go for $200/night. I would NEVER pay that much. The $52i paid was a stretch.
About 25 minutes to Hershey; we chose to pay less on the room & spend more in the park.
Next year we go back to a \"name brand\" hotel
