The Ambassador Hotel Bird Park didn't have any of the large birds we expected because of noise from nearby construction. We didn't notice any excessive noise.

The Ambassador was in a prime location for all the sights with train links to the temples. It was in a very lively area with street markets, bars and restaurants.
The hotel’s sports facilities were varied, the gym was very well equipped and the pool was huge but very warm.
The staff were polite and efficient
The breakfast choice was extensive both fresh fruit, pastries and many egg, rice, meat and spiced options. Our room was clean, spacious and the air conditioning worked well.

This is a high rise hotel in a very convenient and walkable location. I stayed on the 21st floor which was well above street noise with nice skyline views. The onsite pool and fitness are are nice. Recommend!

Location is great. Lots of good bars and restaurants near by and 2 minute walk to train station so easy to get around Bangkok. We stayed in square wing which is under refurbishment so not as nice as sky wing. Pool

Expect an older style of a hotel but everything is proper good inside. If you get a top floor room the views are great.

Hotel was clean and very grand entrance. Check in was efficient. 1000b deposit, can pay on card.
We were on 2nd floor of square wing, foyer carpets were worn and dirty.
The room was clean, spacious, bed wasnt to bad. Only downside was no view apart from piping and workmen walking past, so majority of the time, curtains were closed.
Overall a good stay, right in the heart of activities and close to the bts

This was our first time to Bangkok. We picked this hotel randomly and are very happy we did. The facility is super nice. The Roman are spacious, quiet, and well appointed with comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast is amazing. The WiFi is strong. They have an excellent fitness facility

It's a great hotel honestly. My room was amazing and secure and quiet. You had to have a room key just to use the elevator. The bathroom was clean and looked nice. Also a central area for nightlife but it wasn't my scene. Dozens of bars, restaurants and shopping areas all within 10 minutes of walking

This time somehow I booked in Square Wing.
That was a mistake on my part.
I wont make it again.
No carpet on floor.
No slippers but floor tiles so cold.
Water in bathroom sink took forever to
empty.

Little India .. breakfast awful.. over crowded and the customers eat more than animals, will take full plates of food like cakes, croissants, toast to thier family table and pile on hot food falling off the plates, so everything is slow and messy

Dining options have changed. I have stayed here on a number of occasions (maybe 6) and taken the opportunity to have a meal and drinks at the inhouse restaurant at dinner time, during happy hour. It's my little ritual on my last night in Bangkok when I want some peace and quiet instead of braving Sukumvit. My fault that I didn't check the prices properly this time. A glass of wine had roughly doubled in price since earlier in the year. On top of that, wine was no longer included in the happy hour 2 for 1 deal. So I ended up paying something like 730 THB for two glasses of reasonable house wine (2x365 THB), when I expected to pay about 200 THB (buy one get one free). The food was good, the service was spot on, but the pricing left a sour taste in my mouth. Again, my responsibility to check the menu, but I won't be dining their again.

The the hotel itself was very nice, but the rooms are less to be desired. Not much light in the room. No charging station for phone or iPad. You need to supply your own adapter .hotel won’t do that for you. My property won’t stay there. The next time I go back would like to find a hotel that’s more American friendly.

Great location on Soi 11, close to Nana BTS skytrain, huge lobby & carpark area, good variety at the buffet breakfast, medium sized rooms in the Square Wing. It's quite old & worn but still in decent & clean condition. I'd stay here again.

Hotel stay was great as always. Ambassador is right in the middle of all the night life on sukhumvit.
Only drops 1 star because the AC was so loud. Also if your on the wring wing you can hear all the noise from outside till early hour's in the morning

I stayed there for over a week and really liked it. To be honest, it wasn't my first choice, but I booked it last minute because of its proximity to a facility I was visiting. Despite my initial hesitation, the hotel exceeded my expectations.

First of all, it's much more affordable than other hotels in the area. I stayed in the new tower, which was clean and well maintained. Room service was excellent, and I was especially impressed by how accommodating and friendly the staff were. Every encounter was met with a genuine smile and a willingness to help.

While there aren't many in-house dining options, the area is surrounded by restaurants, so I didn't really miss it. The location is also convenient, close to a subway station with easy access to taxis and rideshares.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an affordable but good-quality option.

Miserable decor, jaded employees, no service provided without pulling teeth. There was a sewage smell coming through the vents every afternoon lasted for hours. The shower had a loud squeal and was held together with slipshod tape. No water pressure and no hot water. Called concierge for help with a luggage trolley. Waited 10 minutes and nobody came; called front desk again and waited again for the trolley. Never came. Hauled all my suitcases down myself so as not to be late for checkout. Power went out one day and the lifts were unavailable so had to walk up and down the four floors to my room. They were doing construction and reframing every day so there was loud machinery and banging, which also created a lot of dust and debris in common areas. When you go out the front entrance there is a massive community smoking section used not just by guests but also merchants and surrounding tourists. You have to walk through cigarette and marijuana smoke each time. The rooms are dim and depressing. The television did not work.

Been coming here since 2018. They have spent the money on Reno’s and overall maintenance. We were 2 travellers but the hotel is catering to the tour buses now. We also got yelled at by the hostess of the buffet for walking out holding our coffee cups. We had to give them back to her and they were full. That was odd.
