Great value! We have stayed multiple times at this hotel and will be back again. For what you pay in that location you can’t get better value. If you’re pretentious and need sparkling fancy new then don’t stay here. If you want location, a nice clean safe place to stay with a great breakfast and reasonable parking rates for downtown with a suite style room then this place is great. It was our Hotels.com free tenth night stay and Peter at the desk was great and upgraded us to the penthouse with a massive balcony overlooking Elgin street. The breakfast is a legit proper feast too. Highly recommend it is older and not newly renovated but is very clean and well kept with good location, price and breakfast.

Totally impressed by this hotel! All the staff I dealt with were so friendly and helpful! Calvin at the front desk was so nice and helpful and patient. My room was amazing! The room furniture is older looking but in great shape. The room is super clean, spacious and it was more like a small apartment filled with great amenities. I had a full kitchen and sofabed and chair. The included breakfast was very good, way more than a continental breakfast, with warm egg sandwiches, muffins and fruit and espresso and regular coffee. The location of this hotel is great and is easily walkable to the Parliament buildings.I would definitely book this hotel again! I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Ottawa and my stay at The Business Inn.

The apartments were old and outdated but clean despite the bed and pillows been uncomfortable. The real issue despite been higher up was the noise from the street and the garbage pick on other day. Very Noisy location. breakfast was nice cereal and cheese with bread. Very good.

We enjoyed the neighbourhood vibe. Close to restaurants and attractions. The small details like a lighted makeup mirror, air filter and white noise machine were unique. Very comfortable!
The only downside is the underground parking has a very low ceiling and was very tight. Be warned!

The hotel is well used but clean and functional. Walking distance to plenty of dining and tourist sites like Byward and Parliament Hill. I liked having the suite so I could make my own meals. There's a really cool grocery store nearby called Farm Boy. I felt safe walking around Elgin Street, even at night.
I plan on staying here for every trip to Ottawa. Staff were great to deal with. Breakfast is hot and ready to go at 7am sharp.

Price of this hotel compared to others is a great value for your money because it includes a HOT breakfast! Location is excellent; close to restaurants, stores, mall, Parliament building, etc. situated in the downtown area, within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious with lots of amenities, computer and a full kitchen. This is our one and only hotel choice in Ottawa.

The gentleman in the reception Peter is excellent and very helpful. He does everything quick and nice.
Walkable distance to the Parliament, may be 20 minutes. Shops and restaurants are around the Inn. It seems there is some kind of renovation done. The hotel and the room are clean too. The Inn charge for the parking and on site parking is tight and the hotel offer off site parking around the next street. The breakfast is good with egg, sausage, ham and bread and muffins. The gentleman in charge of the breakfast response to the people quickly and helps the people a lot.

It was our 25th Anniversary and we got upgraded to an even better room! We have stayed at this location twice. Good value for money and a surprisingly good breakfast- lots of freshly cooked food and lots of choice. We like the fact that the rooms we have had have a separate living room area and kitchenette - so you get more than just a room. Both rooms has a balcony which was another value add. Also the location is excellent - right in the heart of one of the liveliest and more interesting streets in downtown and a close walk to the market and parliament buildings


The staff member working Saturday night was excellent and very friendly and helpful. He was the one that kindly upgraded us as it was our 25th!

It is a very functional property in a great location and a very reasonable price. It is a little dated in terms of room decor and hallways are showing wear and tear, but total functional. Its a maze navigating at first with multiple elevators to use depending where your room is, but you get used to. Really good breakfast with a good variety of options. On purpose...Bed super comfortable and slept a good 4 hours. Deep restful sleep.. im having problems sleeping.
