The worst experience first the area is horrible wr walked around and we saw so many homeless addicts it was scary. The room we stayed in was so dirty the walls were dirty the curtains were all stain and dirty. Our bedsheets were washed out it had two tone. We asked to have it changed the front desk told my husband it was bleech. I canceled one of the 2 nights i had booked. Definitely not a good experience. I stayed . DO NOT RECOMMEND

Looks clean, but feeling unsafe because of the neighborhood and there was no private parking. We could park on the street but have to get up and move the car by 6 AM to a parking garage 1 or 2 blocks from there. We finally didn't sleep there and left for a different hotel without asking for the payment back (we checked in and stayed in the room for about 10 minutes and decided to leave).

Before I checked out I informed the manager, that the rooms stunk of mold, and that it was not necesary to have the room next to mine, vigorous, noisy cleaning at 7am, dragging furniture around. The hotel only had about 3 rooms booked. Totally unneccessary. my thinking is the client is number one. I said I would give his hotel a negative review, poor value for my money. My money has legs. good day

The room had a window on the corridor, but no window was facing the external of the building. The bathroom had a very noisy and broken fan. From the bathroom was coming a terrible smell of piss. I had to keep the door closed. The toilet seat was broken, it had a few holes. The bedsheet were clean but, like the blanket, they had holes. The place was really noisy, the bed not really comfortable. The neighborhood is not recommendable, it's a cheap hotel for locals. Don't go if you are a tourist.

The staff here were awesome! Everything I asked for was immediately taken care of.

At one point, I asked if they knew where I could get a couple of shirts repaired. They called a local tailor, who dropped by within a few minutes to pick up the shirts. Within an hour, I had them back, in perfect condition.

I'd always drop off my room key at the front desk whenever I left the hotel. Maybe I was the only one, because they always knew me when I returned, and always had my key ready for me, even when there was a long line of people checking in. I really appreciated that.

The property itself is modest, but comfortable. The rooms have good black-out curtains. They have some rooms facing the street. In those, there are some traffic noises, and you can hear some music and activity from the restaurant/bar downstairs. Personally, I liked that. They also have quieter interior rooms.

Hotel Has Great location in Center of San Jose.
Reception very friendly however rooms very small with no windows, thin walls, quit loud. Water was warm and room very clean.
Great price for late stop without thrills and leave in the morning. I would use it again when in San Jose.

Hotel is located directly in front of the bus station (Tralapa) Makes it very easy to continue your trip if traveling by bus. Hotel room was very clean, wifi and television included. Staff was extremely helpful with transportation to and from the airport if needed.

Basic hotel close to downtown San Jose & transport

Staff were very friendly & helpful. There was good security in the hotel, although the outside environs were a bit seedy. You need to take taxis for security at night (only $2 to take you to any of the bus stations), rather than walking or taking a bus. Room was clean but basic, quiet in the back of the property. Overall, if you're looking to save money, this is a good place to stay, one step above a hostel, so that you have a private room with a private bathroom/hot shower.

The pillow cases were dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. The noise was terrible. The staff allowed a jealous girlfriend searching for her boyfriend in at six in the morning banging on doors and yelling \"Manuel\". You hear every car go past. The neighborhood is sketchy if you are arriving at night! Also the room we received looked nothing like the pictures!!!!! They hand you your bedding and towels when you arrive.

Lovely lady at the front desk who tried to be as helpful as possible despite not speaking a word of English.
The room was a decent size, with strong Wi-Fi, however we found multiple hairs in the bed, the towels didn't smell good at all and the bathroom wasn't too clean either.

Layover Budget Motel in San Jose

Your average Budget Motel. The biggest perk being its near most of San Joses bus staions. Its very basic but OK for a day or two while waiting for your bus ride or flight. Its also the type of place that caters to couples looking to rent by the hour so if this is an issue for you perhaps look for another Hotel.

Your average budget hotel near the bus stations of San Jose. I did not feel comfortable walking the area as it seemed a bit on the sketchy side. Staff was nice but did not speak english or made much effort to help you in anyway. In the 3 nights I stayed there my room was not cleaned once. The room was decent in size, clean with wifi and hot water. This establishment is the type that rents by the hour to couples so if this is an issue dont stay there.

Just for 1 night stand

Hotel is not in the best area of San José, you cannot walk alone, around the area during the night, but it is in the best area for bus stations to travel around Costa Rica, if you just need to past by San José for 1 night.
The light of the room was not working and they did not have a person to fix it.
Hotel has 3 floors but not elevator, internal rooms are hot, you better ask for an external view room, also they offer monthly options for you to stay.

Queda en el puro centro lo cual es ideal para desplazarse con facilidad. La relación calidad precio esta muy bien. Son habitaciones basicas pero con todo lo que necesitas. Lo unico que mejorafia seria la limpieza de estas. Le hace falta una limpieza profunda a las cortinas y los baños. Se nota mucho moho en ambas. Fuera de eso es un buen lugar basico para pasar la noche

Hotel com localização muito proxima ao centro, contudo, a noite muitos moradores de rua e o meu quarto fazia barulho de veiculos a noite inteira. O atendimento foi ok, a limpeza é boa, limpam o quarto todo dia , trocam as toalhas etc.

Llegué media hora antes del chekin, la de recepción con poca atención dijo, hasta las 3 le puedo dar su habitación, y como si fuera una gran atención dijo, pero puede sentarse en el sofá y esperar…., según ella eran INSTRUCCIONES del dueño, que pena la existencia de hoteles así. Para atender estaba hablando por teléfono, cuando me acerque a recepción ni siquiera una mirada o una sonrisa, solo hablaba por teléfono . Espero al dueño media hora sin dejar entrar al huésped lo haga más rico . Ya no regreso a ese hotel
