I chose this motel because it is extremely dog-friendly, and I was traveling with two dogs and booking late in the evening for the same night. While that aspect worked as advertised, I cannot recommend staying here in good faith unless you are constrained by circumstances or a tight budget. The room was not very clean—there were several dead bugs scattered on the floor—and the overall surroundings did not feel particularly reassuring.

The staff behind the desk were snippy and rude. Also sneaky. I booked a room w 2 beds , a microwave, and a mini fridge. I opened the door.... no mini fridge & no microwave. The place was in dis repair, trash EVERYWHERE, Foot traffic galore to the room next to ours. I was thankful for my dog. I woke up the second morning with 5, yes 5 police officers outside my door because the woman in the dealers room was rushed to the ER. I even had to druggies knock on my door trying to shove money into the 3\" gap that i opened it. Unreal. I wouldnt let my dog onto the grass because i was afraid she'd get stuck w a dirty needle. Worse stay that i ever had. No clean towels or trash pickup either. Motel 6 isn't what it once was. Won't EVER stay there again.

Let’s start with the gentleman at the counter informed me there was another $50.00 deposit because I used the Expedia App to make reservations and paid the balance through the app. Also to boot it would be put back on my card in 4-5 business days, like seriously I just paid $88 dollars on the app that came to $98.00 then another $50.00; now that $149.00 for a room in the hood. Oh and they got you by the naads because you have already paid on line and that non refundable so you can’t cancel and go somewhere else and now you have to give them another $50 dollars that they say will be back on your card in 4-5 days I’m sure I’ll have to call to get back. Sleep in you car, I’m sure you’ll have better accommodations.

Perfect Stay in DC for Cowboy Carter

Decently close to Northwest Stadium and a metro station! Very walkable to nearby spots for food. The trip was already expensive so an affordable stay was much appreciated!

This property is basically a shelter for displace and homeless people. The caliber of people on the property made you feel really unsafe. Now the room smelled stale. It was dirty and poorly lit. The bed sheets were thoroughly stained with brown and blood looking remnants all the way through the mattress. The bathroom was cleaned up but toilet stained, build up around faucets and all the panels were dull and dirty. We did not sleep there we checked out after 1 hour and 45 mins. It was just terrible.

Run Down Hook Up Hotel

The hotel was pretty sketch. We stayed for a concert, which was convenient, but the room had no shampoo bottles, no iron, no night stands. It was bare. There was also plastic on the matress. Bee hives all over the outdoors and one some how got in our room. The room itself was pretty clean but the property wasnt. Dog poop all over the walk ways and grass areas.

We had a reservation for 4 nights. They set us up in a room with no mini fridge and no microwave. When I asked the front desk for a room with these, she told me that I had not requested them. I have NEVER had to request these at any other hotel/motel in the past 30 years. They did give us a new room with the standard amenities but rotating plate was missing the microwave and there was a piece of ice the size of Manhattan in the fridge that made using it difficult. Fortunately the iceberg broke off and I could store my creamer. No coffee maker in the room but I brought my Keurig. There's another hotel next door that may be a little more but I would probably try it next time.

Woman at the front was extremely rude as I was nothing but friendly and nice to her. (I get it tho it was Monday), the strong odor around the entire building was nothing but urine and cigarettes not to mention the inside of the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. My neighbors had no working lights in their room! When they consulted the front their answer was “there’s one underneath your bathroom sink” haha seriously? So they gave them a little portable light to plug in lol. Anyway extremely dissatisfied and will never book a motel 6 ever again. Completely overcharged for what I received.

This has got to be the worst experience I've
ever had. There were stains on all the bedding, the room was dirty, the door did not close or lock, it smelled of cigarettes despite it being a non smoking room. I knows its a motel 6 and didn't expect much but this was so bad we ended up leaving and not staying as we did not feel safe. Motel6 did try to refund us but because the reservation was done through hotels.com they couldn't. The fact that a refund cannot be requested in these types of situations is insane. Will not be using this app to book again, not worth it.

Pretty much bottom of the barrel here. The woman at the front desk was smoking weed, got to approached by some tweaked on the way to our room etc.

Sheets were visibly dirty, patches and mold on walls, nothing to do nearby. Only time I would do it is for a last minute life or death pinch.


One positive, there was a security guard and gate to give some sense of security.

This place was not at all like the photos showed and a lot worse. Tried to get a refund but was given the run around. The overall look and smell of the place was horrendous! I would never I say never advise someone to stay at this place. It needs to be taken off of Expedia. That was a roach motel!

Worst hotel in Capitol Heights.

Maids don’t clean rooms daily.
Lobby ac is sometimes cut off making 82 degrees or hotter inside.
Breakfast is horrible and always burnt, not there entirely l, or incomplete.
Staff is extremely rude and racist. Staff are condescending and rude to women.

I’ve stayed at much nicer hotel 6’s. This one was missing a nightstand and had an extremely old tv that did not work. The shower head sprayed in all different directions which made it hard to rinse. We also only had one towel and it was unfolded on the shelf. The towels were very low quality- think like sheets. And the bed sheets were even thinner, like paper. There was also this plastic covering the mattress that made the bed very uncomfortable. The sheets on top did nothing to limit the sound of feel of the plastic. On top of that, the sheets kept coming off the bed while we slept. There was a stain on the single very thin blanket we were given and we only had three tiny pillows. Person at the front desk was only able to give us one more towel. We requested a no smoking room but the room smelled like smoke when we arrived. AC did work and we were given two bars of soap. Lastly, it was very easy to hear people walking by our door and we heard many noises throughout the night.

That hotel needs alot of work done.

Not clean, no shower curtain, it was hard to take a shower. Need to change the shower head. And the attendant at the front has a bad attitude and everytime I come its the same attitude. So I will not be coming back to that hotel anymore.
