The television in the room did not work. I pre-paid for the room online, so the hotel general manager said they have to refund Expedia and then Expedia will refund me! This was a huge inconvenience!

There were poeple doing drugs leaving needles and their gloves on the ground. Did not get our room cleaned at all. Requested fresh towels and empty trash and that was not done I had to go down to the desk to get fresh towels and empty our own trash. Also, we had only one roll of toilet paper and had to request that. Staff was not friendly at all.

We were given Room# 509 which had everything but the fridge which I we needed to store our milk for our son. We were moved to #510 which we stayed but the air did not blow as cool despite temp set low. Also, the tv presented smart tv options but no smart tv remote.

Avoid staying at this inn!! There were stain on the bedding, ripped carpet, black mold in the bathroom, and the coffee maker was nasty and dirty. The odor hit you in the face when you first open the door to the room and the thermostats to the AC does not work so the room was stuck on 65 degrees and freezing at night. to bad it was late and the room is paid for through here or i would ask for refund and move to another place.

This hotel is terribly maintained. The covers had stains. The floors were dirty. The food at the breakfast buffet looked inedible. I got in the shower and the sliding door came off the rail. The faucet for the sink was loose at the base so much so that it slid around anytime I turned the water on or off. The iron board had no cover pad. The desk chair was peeling. The lounge chair’s covering was ripped and the filling was coming out. I could hear everything my neighbors said or every time they laughed through the walls. The hotel is directly across the street from a dispensary so they have posted signs that let people know marijuana smoking is not allowed. It was an absolute scary experience. I booked the hotel using Expedia’s pay in advance feature to save money. It was close to the office park where I was having 2 days of meetings. Some event must have been happening in the area because this hotel was the only reasonable place I could find. It was a harrowing experience and I would advise avoiding it no matter what.

The property is old and warn - it needs to be renovated badly- looks and smells like a cheap motel. Chairs were stained, rust in the tub and toilet, dust in the room. The breakfast was a joke, very little options and the area was not cleaned- I didn’t even eat. Stained sheets - I will not be revisiting ever until it’s fully renovated.

Terrible housekeeping, I asked for housekeeping in my room 8am and no body showed up till 6pm . When I went to ask the receptionist the second time, she rudely said they busy and that they will get there when they can . I had so towels and full garbage in my room . Not going back again.

Great staff! Nice ladies at the desk and a very polite manager. The room was okay, the shower doesn't have cold water, which sucks for Platinum blondes who wash with cold water but at least you have the sink! My microwave was very filthy and didn't work properly and the floors need better cleaning, but great room for the price!

Couldn’t use the gym. Walked in to notice a moldy bucket of water catching whatever was leaking from the ceiling. Entire property smelt like urine. Our bathroom door wouldn’t properly close and needed to be slammed closed in order for the lock to catch. The TV remote was busted and we couldn’t switch channels properly. The hallway carpets were stained and smelt. Bathrooms were out of date and the shower was starting to mold. The seat for the shower was rusted and looked like it was about to fall off the wall. Overall wasn’t a promising stay. Spent $430 for this room over the course of 3 nights. Probably would have had better or similar quality at a motel six for less money.

The phone number on the reservation desk was out of order, the other number to the manager i left a voicemail no one called me back
They really don’t care about customers!

The room was clean but smells really bad. The breakfast was really bad, never used after first day stay. Non working fridge, coffe maker and the AC was very loud and blowing air directly to the bed. The check in and check out was very smooth. People smoking every were on the property and there is a marijuana dispensary across the street from the hotel and police parked on the hotel parking lot for my entire stay with his light on. Will not recommended this hotel especially with small kids

They over booked themselves and made us change rooms ever night with no warning. Just knocking on the door and “you all have to be out of this room in 15mins” was crazy and they were so so rude about it. Never offered anything to compensate us for the hassle. 3 different rooms. A different room each night. Crazy. We got so disorganized and lost so much stuff because of how they made us rush to vacate the room because of THEIR issues. No apologies. No thanking us for moving in 15 mins. No nothing just rudeness and disrespect.

Also the rooms were dirty. There was lettuce on the desk, hair in the bathroom, and the trash full when we checked in to our room.

I recently stayed at La Quinta Hotel and overall had a positive experience. I checked in late & as I inspected the room, I noticed there was a leak coming from the sink. I reported the issue to the front desk & he was very understanding, informing me that since it was late, maintenance would come by the following morning to repair it. Although I did have to follow up with the front desk the next day, I was satisfied that within about 10 minutes, maintenance arrived & fixed the leak without me having to change rooms. I especially want to recognize the front desk night auditor for taking my concern seriously, not disregarding my complaint & handling the situation professionally & respectfully.

We had to fix toilet in room and the shower was a real hard pull to turn on. Breakfast was minimal. Hallway carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. Walls were thin. Outside was filthy and back door to hotel was broken and open at night.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WATER SITUATION. WHEN I GOT THERE THE SHOWER HAD WORKED. WHEN I WENT TO SHOWER, AT 5AM, AFTER THE PARTY, THE SHOWER WAS NOT WORKING AT ALL. THE SHOWER/TUB WATER WOULD NOT TURN ON. I HAD TO DO TWO BIRD BATHS. I WAS UNABLE TO SHOWER HAD A 7 HOUR DRIVE. SMELLING LIKE A BEAR AFTER A GOOD WEEKEND WAS NOT COOL. I HAD NOT NOTIFIED THE STAFF, REALIZING THAT THEY WERE NOT MANAGEMENT. I KNEW THAT THEY COULD NOT HELP ME. I NOTICED THAT THEY WERE REMODELING. THEY COULD HAVE HAD A PLUMBER; ELECTRICIANS AND OTHER QUALITY CONTROL OR SAFETY SPECIALISTS CHECK THESE AREAS BEFORE THEY OPENED THE ROOM UP FOR GUESTS.
1. WATER DID NOT GET HOT IN THE SINK - COULD NOT STOP UP THE SINK TO BIRD BATHE.
2. ONE ELECTRICAL SOCKET DID NOT WORK NEAR SINK AREA.
3. THE WATER DID NOT WORK IN THE TUB.
4. TELEVISION CHANNELS DID NOT WORK COULD NOT GO TO CHANNELS OR APPS.
5. THE TUB HAD PAINT IN IT LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE TRYING TO MAKE IT WHITE, IT WAS A GREY COLOR.

There is plenty of parking areas around the hotel and the parking lot is monitored. The property had trash around the front of the building that took away from the inside appeal of the building. The staff is very helpful and welcoming.

We will never stay here again. As soon as you walk in your'e hit with an awful smell. The hallways to the room smelled bad as well but the room did not(thankfully!). The bathroom was dirty. The bathroom floor had a bunch of white stuff which seemed to be pieces of the ceiling paint which was trying to cover up mold! The shower was not washed out. The sink wall had some hairs on it.
The curtains in the room were all torn and the a/c did not keep the room cool. We set it low and were still not comfortable. The pull out mattress had a ton of nasty stains.
The breakfast was awful! i expected more from a La Quinta! The eggs were total rubber. There wasn;t much options either like a typical La Quinta. The waffler area was so dirty and covered in batter.
We paid way too much for this room. thankful we only booked 1 night!

I chose La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham because I trusted the Wyndham brand to provide clean, reliable, budget-friendly accommodations. When booking in an unfamiliar area, I rely on a hotel’s brand reputation, photos, and listed amenities.

Unfortunately, this property was very disappointing. We had to switch rooms three times due to issues including ceiling water damage, a broken toilet, and a broken thermostat. Several advertised amenities were either inaccurate or unavailable, including the breakfast photos, guest computer/printer, and overall gym condition. The gym had a roof leak, poor lighting, and a bucket placed to catch water.There were also multiple loud barking dogs on the premises, and the hotel appeared to have some guests using it as long-term housing.

Overall, this stay fell far below the standard I expected from a Wyndham-branded hotel, and I was disappointed by both the condition of the property and the misleading online listing. On a positive note, staff seemed apologetic at the condition and helped as much as they could. The parking was plentiful without an additional fee.

The hotel was completely run down and the rooms were in poor condition. The rooms looked under construction and the bathroom walls were filled with mold. The bathtubs were all peeled, unacceptable. For it to also be a non smoking room it reeked of smoke. I politely went to the front desk to switch out the room and the receptionist took me to 2 other rooms and it got worst. The owner must do better because this is not a good representation of the Laquinta brand. They should not be asking for a deposit, instead they need to pay the customers a deposit to stay there. Just shut it down. It gives shelter or rehab facility. Just being honest. Don’t stay here!!! We checked in and checked right tf out !!!!

This property was definitely not up to par with their rating. It felt like they’re maximizing profit over actual quality. Right away the girl at the front desk was not very helpful, she seemed young but confused. When checking in we were not told how many rooms or how many beds she just gave us the price and wanted us to swipe the card. We booked a one night to room stay and she tried to give us a room with two beds instead for almost the same price as our intended stay, when we try to fix it saying that “these people came and want to leave now and want a refund they don’t like the price”, we called Expedia to try to get the issue fixed and every time our customer service agent will try to call she would just send the call to voicemail / hold without actually picking it up. The manager was able to accommodate us to a second room, but it wasn’t not much of an upgrade. Our room had patches that had not been painted over and the shower did not work at all. There was mold above the showerhead, and the shower looked like it was on its last leg coming off of the wall.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with my recent stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DC Metro Capital Beltway. Unfortunately, this visit fell well below acceptable standards regarding both cleanliness and comfort.

Major Concerns:

Cleanliness Issues: The room was far from clean. The floor had not been properly vacuumed, and I was horrified to find visible stain marks on both the bedsheets and the comforter.

Strong Odors: Upon entering the property, there was an overwhelming and unpleasant odor of cigarette smoke throughout the lobby and inside the elevator. It was very off-putting to be greeted by this smell immediately upon arrival.

Room Location and Noise: We were assigned a room directly next to the laundry room, which made for a very noisy stay. Furthermore, the noise levels in the hallways were unacceptable, with other guests talking loudly well past 1:00 AM, making it impossible to get a restful night's sleep.
