Worst hotel EVER. Hotel photos were not actual.
Had to step over homeless people to get into the lobby.
The halls smelled like urine.
There were streaks on the walls in the room which looked like old blood or feces.
Very dirty, and unsafe.
I had to change our hotel as it was so disgusting.

Stay away! We booked this hotel through hotels.com. The reviews looked good. The photos on hotels.com do not look like the actual hotel. We had to walk around homeless people to get to the front door.
The hallways smelled like urine. There were stains on the walls of the hotel room. It was disgusting and unsafe.
We had to move to another hotel. We contacted hotels.com for some help with compensation but they said there was nothing they could do.
Do not stay here!!! Not sure if we will continue to use hotels.com either.

Room smelled like smoke upon arrival. We arrived later than time approved just in case. Air conditioning also brought in smell of smoke.

Great location, decent hotel. The free parking was nice but the spots are definitely pretty small, so consider leaving your lifted truck at home. The area felt pretty safe. The a/c in the room smelled like mold when running, so we didn’t use it (maybe it’s better in the summer?). Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the room was nice enough. Breakfast included a waffle iron so that was neat.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Having breakfast included was convenient, and the breakfast area was comfortable, though it would have been nice to have options like toast or bagels. Parking was also included, which was very convenient.

Through no fault of the hotel, the surrounding neighborhood felt unsafe. It was difficult to sleep due to people yelling on the street, extremely loud music from cars, and frequent sirens. I would not recommend this location for a solo female traveler who plans to walk back from the convention center late at night. There are many homeless and intoxicated individuals in the area, which is troubling to see in our state capital.

There were homeless sleeping and trash/debris all around the property. Smelled like a dumpster and urine. The rooms had terrible furniture. Restroom had mold. Appliances awfully old. There was a huge gap at the bottom of the door and the room stayed cold, despite a very loud heater.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Check in was super easy. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The walls are dated, for example paint chipping and cracked. The shower head in our bathroom sprayed out to the right side so I had to make sure the curtain was closed all the way. The building is safe, you need your key card to get in the elevator and the stairwells lock from the inside. I would stay here again. It's in a good location

Check in went smoothly. I told the young man i mostly chose this site because they had the waffles & buffet breakfast. We were extremely disappointed. The pictures show a full buffet with several juices, bagels, toast, pastries, three covered dishes, which usually means bacon or sausage, eggs, hash browns, waffles, coffee. We got there at 8:10 & they had coffee with lots of french vanilla creamer ( I am allergic) & about 6 half & half. The waffle machine with watered down batter that I asked to be replaced because it wouldn't cook & made a mess. When he replaced it, it was still to thin & made gummy waffles. No sugar free syrup for diabetics. They had some apples, some packets of instant oatmeal, skim milk in a caraft, Activa yogurt, hard boiled eggs & butter & i think maybe 1 kind of juice (if any). No toaster, no hot breakfast, no bagels, bread or pastries. I had to ask him to make more coffee

It wasn't what I was expecting. The hotel is old. The rooms are not modernized. But they do a good job keeping everything clean in the rooms. I didn't swim but the pool was clear and nice looking.

It reminded me of a holiday inn from the 80s. Just exactly what it needs to do and nothing else.

Over all the room was clean, but there was a little mold in the grout of the shower tiles and a stain on the carpet. Beds/sheets all looked clean though. The breakfast in the morning had a poor selection and could use some more items added like maybe some pastries, if its going to be considered “continental” breakfast. The front desk employee was accommodating though to try and get our group rooms as close as possible to each other which was nice. The property itself felt safe for the most part with secured gates to rooms, just wish the vehicle area was also secured. Overall it was worth what we paid for the room and nothing fancy but good for a 1 night stay and fairly close to the SAP center which we walked to and from for a concert but would probably advise anyone to UBER instead.

Room was clean, simple but nice for what I needed. A little outdated in colors, it's an old building so expected wear and tear. Very close walking distance to the convention center which was good. Surrounding area for a downtown was what I expected, few homeless around, but never felt unsafe. Only a couple restaurants within walking distance, not many options for food. Overall good experience, I would stay there again.

Two things
1: there is no USB ports at least in our room so one must bring a wall adapter for your electronics
2: the door frame needs to be fixed during the day you could see light shining through cracks where the wall meets the door frame.

It’s very basic: this extends to the breakfast provided, which, frankly, they might as well not provide it. There is insufficient toiletries, the front desk person provides the most basic of services, and so on. Basically the only saving grace is its location, if you are looking to be close to convention center

The services was okay or limited and the condition seems to need a upgrade no real issues besides a dog barking at some parts of the day well secured you have to tap through a gate to get to upper floors which is great do to a great homeless population in the area

Breakfast was free but there weren’t too many food options.

I also had a late flight back and needed to do something with my luggage for a couple hours after the 11am checkout time, but the hotel told me they don’t store luggage, and I had to pay a good deal to extend the checkout time. It was also odd and frustrating that when I went down to the front desk around normal checkout time trying to figure all this out, at first the door was locked and no one was at the front desk to let me in. I had to wait for a while until finally the guy opened the door for me.

Room was clean and comfortable, although it would have been nice if there was a living room type chair to relax in. Room service every morning was great. The toilet paper holder was broken, but other than that everything worked. Would have been nice to have a larger television. Continental breakfasts were below average. Parking for my Bronco with a rooftop tent was difficult but doable. Weeknights were quiet. But weekend nights were not. The thumping base from the loud music being played at the bar across the street, which started sometime after 10:00 PM and didn't end until almost 2:00 in the morning, made it difficult to sleep.

This place was not in the greatest of areas. The place is very old and run down looking. The rooms are very dark and had a musty smell. Ac didnt work well. Blow dryer didmt work. They have an ice machine but cant imagine its been cleaned or serviced in a while. There are no vending machines to buy anything to drink. Went into office and asked if they had any drinks to buy and they said no.

Nothing special at all. It's a place to crash of you drank too much and know you wont be able to drive home. It was fine for a night but the only thing that I wasn't indifferent about was just how dismissive the staff was. I went down to the lobby and asked for water and they told me they didn't have any, the lady really could care less about doing anything to accommodate a guest.

The outside of the property was a bit scary and the pool looked gross. They have gates to swipe in to the stairwells to make rooms safer which was appreciated. Customer service was lacking in friendliness but got the job done. The room itself was huge, impressively clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would stay there again. Recommended, as long as you know what to expect.

We were slightly concerned about the outside safety based on other reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. No homeless anywhere around the property. Streets felt very safe and clean. Room was better than expected. Beds were clean and comfy. Bathroom was a little dated but it’s a budget motel. Fridge and microwave in room! Overall would stay again.

Just very dated. There is lots of rust on the stainless in the bathroom, the rug is worn and the furniture has scratches in multiple places. It does seem that they tried to make this area secure and there is no visible trash and no loitering of anyone suspicious.
