Generally very happy. Nice security staff and close to decent little shopping centre.
Very clean and has a fantastic pool area.
At the pool bar they should include the tax on the advertisements to save embarrassment, if it's 350, its not, its more which I understand but it should be clear upfront, they also add on a service charge that they don't advertise.
We had a lot of problems with our room door not closing, it took hours to get there eventually and really they should have moved us at a certain point as it was taking ages.
Rooms are dated, but clean and the air conditioning worked well (but dripped all over the balcony).
Small bathroom but functional.
Stay let down on the last day with an unpleasant staff member at breakfast. We didnt have a lot of time, and asked for a breakfast to take away but we were told we should have ordered the night before. They wouldn't let us take anything out so we nipped in for a cup of tea and a quick bite. After getting the the tea, I took a cake in a serviette to save the plates and was literally yelled at from the other side of the room 'NO TAKEAWAY, NO TAKEAWAY'. It was totally embarrassing and a complete overreaction on the staff members part. I was taking it to the table, nowhere else, dhe was ridiculous and unprofessional. That alone would make me not book again.

The staff was great as well as the location. If you need anything, it was taken care of right away.
Only item wrong was there was not always hot water in the shower. This may have had something to do with our room being on the seventh floor. Otherwise, everything was great.

Great location friendly staff good price (January £34 per night March £41 stayed here twice).Located next to everything Beach,LK Metro,2nd Rd ect.Rooms are decent condition Pool is large with plenty of sun loungers.

Will definitely be retuning and staying here again in 2026.

2 stars off for policy of no refund on early checkout, even on 8 night booking. 3 decades of travels through hundreds of hotels and dozens of early checkouts, and here's a first. Well, after Bangkok going back to pattaya for 10 more nights, and I'm staying few doors down.

To be fair, property and staffs very nice. Few small things so 1 star off, but all these just moot. Wished I had read a review stating its policy beforehand. Why lock yourself in when equally nice hotels few doors away?

The hotel has a lot of potential but I wouldn’t stay here again as far as the rooms go. The room was dark and humid and needs upgrading. There were no robes or bath slippers in the closets as advertised and the hot water only lasted about 30 seconds in the shower. The staff was not very friendly and in fact when I reported the issue with the hot water, the guy who came to check it, touched it and winced at me as if I was making it up. The toilet in the bathroom leaked. There was water leaking outside on the balcony from some of the pipes. But on a positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable and the pool area was nice as well.

We stayed at Heeton the majority of our trip in 2 different rooms and liked the corner unit very much. We’d like to highlight the wide variety of breakfast options (definitely worth the price) and a large pool area we enjoyed. Most importantly, hotel has a convenient location from Walking Street, the beach and the boat landing. There are plenty of food places and souvenirs shops as well.

Get what you pay for!

Very good value. Excellent pool. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Air conditioner leaked water every night all over floor, but no big deal. One night power went out. Bugs get into room sometimes and end up with bug bites. But for the money you pay it is a good value and a great location!

We did asked a request before booking a hotel and did remind them after we booked a hotel rooms . GOT LATE CHECKIN AND NOT MERGE A BED AS PER REQUEST. While we waiting for a room we using a swimming pool and and a lunch at the pool we did mentioned staff upon checkin that if the room is ready please kindly hand the room key to us at the swimming pool as we gonna be in the pool. Staff was called me but how can i know that the room is ready when l’m in pool. Feel a bit disappointed. Our 1 years old boy need to hanging around pool at 13.00-16.00 hrs with the 35 c.

Big hotel, immense pool, good value.

The hotel is tucked in behind The Avenue shopping-center, so it feels a bit out-of-the-way, but it's still convenient. My room (723) was nice and big, with a balcony and a view that included a glimpse of Bangkok Bay. It had ample storage for my luggage, clothes, and \"stuff\" (important because I'm a scuba-diver, and bring my own gear). I could have used some brighter lights, though, and a room on a lower floor might have had better water pressure for the shower.

It was interesting that the bathroom was on the outside wall, next to the balcony, but that was a great help when I had to rinse and dry my scuba-gear after my dives; I didn't have to carry dripping gear the length of the room.

The swimming pool is IMMENSE, and there's a play area for the kids by the shallow area (bottom right in their pool picture) that includes a big sandy-beach sandbox. Their dining room has a buffet breakfast, but I didn't find it all that great a value at 390 baht (I didn't get it included with my room).

It was a nice place to stay, comfortable and convenient, and I'll stay there the next time I'm in Pattaya.

Balcony on the corner suites has a very narrow area to get to the seating area so if you suffer from vertigo you cannot use it on the higher floors.
Wifi speeds were the worst I have encountered in any hotel I have stayed in. Bathroom and shower area in these suites is very small.

I liked the location as it was central so it was easy to get around. I had booked two rooms,one room had a broken patio door lock,no patio chairs and only one chair in the room. All the problems were solved promptly but it should not have happened in the first place. The property needs some renovation and I would not recommend it for families with children as they have large tour groups every day.

I really like this hotel. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. They have a great big swimming pool, an ideal place to relax during the day. My only complaint is it’s very noisy, early in the morning. Also they should put tables and chairs on the balconies.

What was unique that everything was close
What we didn’t like was we didn’t have:
1) iron/board
2) refrigerator worked when it wanted to work
3) very cheap with the towels
4) we always had to ask them to clean our room & I think they could have gave us a better room
5) and it was some type of smell that kept coming into our room
But overall the Mercure was a perfect location to all the places we needed to go & staff was ok especially this one staffer Mr Chat I think that was his name was very helpful

I went to see a friend at short notice and got a room. A nice hotel, The front desk staff were great and the room was pretty good. I could tell that some things had changed in the rooms cabinets that look kinda weird, but was not a big deal. The Wifi was not great but ok. I had a corner room and the balcony was great looking over the pool.

The best part of the Hotel is its location. Very handy for walking or taking Baht Buses. The pool is pretty good too. The hotel itself is starting to show its age. Lots of English and Sports Channels on the TV if you are spending much time in your room. The staff were quite helpful when needed.

The Mercure is very centrally located to all shopping streets & 10 min walk to the beach.
All tours pick up from the hotel with great parking available. It is a little aged now but still provides a great pool however the deck chairs become limited throughout the day. Breakfast has a great variety for all tastes. The bar prices are, as expected for a hotel, quite expensive so we just went off sight to have a few ales.
Overall very good stay & would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Great location. Breakfast was plentyful. Hotel staff were lovely. Only downside was the pool. There wasnt enough sunbeds. And the germans were reserving beds witb towels from 2.30am. So unless you set ypur alarm you couldnt get a sunbed. Could easily be resolved by the hotel adding at least another 50 sunbeds which would easily fit around the lovely pool area. Also the cleaning staff often didnt get around to cleaning my room until late afternoon so often had to wait for clean towels.

I stayed in the hotel less then 7 days 6 nights but was switched to 4 rooms during my stay. The first room was giving due to my room not ready I’m assuming since it was a upgrade but for 1 day then I had to move my items, my 2nd room was inconvenient because it was a bit far due to me having a walking disability, once again I was moved to a closer room but the toilet was leaking and the shower was not draining. I finally was moved after packing again to my 4th room. Although the employees were great the rooms were mediocre or ok the inconvenience of constantly moving and not fully unpacking for a holiday was put off to be honest.

Last but not least certain tourists in groups are very loud in the late evening hours and several buses of Chinese tourists woke up and were talking loud in the hallways 5,6 & 7 am very poor consideration for guests. 😳😳😳
