The rooms are a bit dated, but everything is functional and well-maintained. What really makes the stay enjoyable is the excellent staff—friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything you need. The location is also a big plus, offering easy access to everything in the area, from shops and restaurants to the beach and nightlife. Overall, a solid stay with great service and convenience.

The rooms have a faint mold or mildew smell. Tge paint is peeling off the walls in some spots. The flooring was waroed in my room. I wouldn't recommend walking barefoot.

In the heart of darkness, the belly of the beast. Soi bukow is right there in all its glory. Gogos, beer bars, and so much more debauchery all around.
The hotel itself has seen better days. The rooms tend to have a faint mildew smell thw staff claim is cleaning supplies, but i know what mildew smells like, and looks like. Take a peep betwween the blackout curtains and thier liner to catch my meaning..decent breakfast, good bathrooms and mini kitchens. Good storage for cloths and luggage. Withthe right room, it can be a good olace to stay. Depending on tpur intentions.

No I should tell a little bit on the expensive side. I was charged 19A 100 bats for my last night, which was an extra night which was disappointing. I would have given it five star, otherwise, a very well appointed staff for greg except for that final charge, I didn't agree with it.And I was not heard

Still run down and in need of a major overhaul and still has a very basic breakfast and no bar - but still huge, comfortable (if old fashioned) rooms and still the best location in the remodeled Pattaya area. Right beside LK Metro, 2 mins from Treetown but without the noise problems you get in other hotels. Harrys Bar right outside if you want good beer/meals/golf bookings.

The property is pretty dated, but the bed was comfortable. Little tiny bugs crawl around the bathroom sink and tub areas. Outside is party central, and so is the traffic; it's easy to get hit by a motorbike on Soi Buakhao, as I did. If you want nightlife, you're in the center.

Accomidating staff, Breakfast was very good for smaller selection choices Hotel is on older, dated furnishings & building. The small space for gym had too many treadmill (4) which nobody used. Should have another stationary bike besides the 1 that was always used. Also gym had NO paper towels in bathroom for the week I stayed and NO sanitizer to use on gym equipment.

The staff are excellent. They were very helpful and friendly. It's management's maintenance of the property that's disappointing. It's an older property, but the bathrooms could use some work. Moldy grout and caulk, hardwater stains on shower glass and floors are really a turn-off. Not a dealbreaker, but the property could be much nicer with a little work on the bathrooms. Also, no hot water the entire stay. Only luke-warm water. The location is excellent and the price is very good. I regret giving a critical review because the hotel staff are wonderful.

The hotel has aged, and physically, could probably do with a bit of updating. Having said that, it is still very comfortable and clean, and in a perfect location. Most importantly, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff is always excellent. Stayed several times and will stay again.

It’s a pretty nice hotel, albeit a little dated. The mattress was very comfortable, probably the most comfortable one I’ve had in Pattaya. The downsides for me: the TV reception was terrible on all channels, and the bathroom had the shower in a bathtub. For someone like me, with mobility and balance issues, taking a shower was not a pleasant experience.

Another Great Stay!

This was my second stay and have nothing bad to say. Yes, there are some minor blemishes that time has taken a toll on, but I still find the hotel to be a good stay. The cleaning staff does a great job keeping the room clean and the front desk staff was very responsive. The facility could use some touching up in areas.

Great location

Hotel is in a great location, not too much noise but right in the middle of the action. Lk metro, Soi Bukhao, Tree town and the Baht bus service all a short walk away. Downside is the place is run down, everything is a little tatty, my bed was pretty uncomfortable, old heavy sprung matress that dug into my poor old back. Cleaners were good, reception great.. would I go back, yeh for the money its ok.

I have stayed at LK Metropole several times as the location is fantastic. Overall, this is a quality hotel, however no repairs or improvements appear to have taken place over the last 7 or 8 years. Hence, the rooms and facilities look slightly tired, drab and dated.

For instance, a few of the small tiles within the swimming pool have come off and there is no attempt to replace them at all. Equally, the hotel rooms look tired and old-fashioned, although they are comfortable to sleep in.

The ground floor tailors which was here for many years and never served much purpose has thankfully been replaced with a more practical massage service.

Great Stay!

Spent 10 days at the LK Metropole; my first time there. It is very clean and I found it to be very quiet. There are several room styles to choose from. There were a couple days that I was the only guest at a nice sized outdoor pool. My room type had a full kitchen and had a separate living room and separate bedroom. The only downside I saw was that there was no restaurant or room service. I will definitely return.

A classic LK hotel, big room but in need of attention to minor decor issues that the fussy might not like. No breakfast or restaurant open during my stay but not a problem as you are spoilt for choice outside within a stones throw. Fantastic location but you might need earplugs to block the bar noise.
Overall I will certainly stay here again.

This is a much older property and saw much better days 30 years ago! There is a distinct lack of repair and much needs to be done. Simply in my room:
The bathroom was leaking somewhere under tub and from wall.
The aircon fan was very loud.
All the furniture was old and wobbly and needed a fix.
The bathroom was not particularly clean more than likely because everything in there is so old.

Staff were friendly and pleasant but I reported the noisy aircon as soon as I arrived and no one even bothered to investigate.

The hotel is in a great area for all the action but I would never stay here again would look for somewhere that is more modern and well maintained.

Complete refurbishment is what this hotel will need to be able to content with other newer options in the area.
