Great location, though no king beds as advertised

Was a pleasant enough stay, clean, newly furnished and quiet room considering location.
However the website advertises the room as having King beds.
This is definitely not the case, they are standard doubles.
Staff room seems to spill out onto undercovered pool area, which makes it anything but inviting. I never saw anyone use it while I was there.

It was my first time stayed at Scenery City Hotel. I liked the room and balcony, decent size room.
The problem I had which made me feel really bad that I lost some money from safety box on the 3rd day L. I talked to the day time front desk lady and asked her to talk to the hotel management and let them know but no one contacted me and she said don’t put money in safety box.
I didn’t claim because I didn’t want to ruin my vacation by chasing a ghost. A friend of mine lost money a few days after his arrival too. And on my second last day I ran to another guy who brought a police to hotel for the same reason. But since people often have guest over no one can prove anything…….
All 3 of us stayed multiple time in Pattaya but it was first time that happened to us.
I AM NOT ACCUSING ANYONE AT ALL and just asking Hotel management please do a proper investigation to prevent that in the future …...

I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel as the staff steals from your safety deposit box when you are out. They don't take all your money as they hope you will not notice until it is to late but I did notice, When reporting this to the reception they were rude and unhelpful The police and tourist police were informed and was of the same conclusion that the staff had used the safety deposit key to open the safe and take the money. but with the lack of cctv could not prove it as the staff was less than helpful Stay at this hotel at your peril or you don't mind being robbed

8th and last time staying here.

This was my 8th time staying at this hotel and unfortunately my last. The hotel itself is ok although getting a bit dated now. The issue was the bad experience I had with the reception staff. Firstly on arrival was told they were very busy and that my room was not ready yet. After a long 36 hours travelling all you need is a shower and to relax. On my previous 7 trips it was not an issue to have the room early this trip could not. Secondly one particular member of staff accused my wife of being a bargirl. Even though we have the same surname and she checked in at the same time as me. Seems the only guests the hotel are interested in are Japanese single men. It's a shame in the current climate in Pattaya and Thailand where they want to make it a \"world class\" tourist destination all they are interested in is single men who pay for the delights of Pattaya. There are plenty of other better/cheaper/more polite hotels available and I will be taking my custom elsewhere on my 2 trips a year.

Good clean room with a good location.. I was at front of hotel 5th floor surprised how quiet it was. Room is just lacking coffee, hot water pot and a phone, had to go to friend room every time to talk to him.

Housekeeping expected tip

I don't normally tip the housekeeping staff, as a recommendation from my friend I left a tip on the bed the first day. This prompted one staff member to remind us everyday to leave a tip. This was annoying.
The same staff member charged me extra to clean a dirty towel. I had been walking in dirt the previous day and used the towel to wipe my shoes. This was dirt, not grease or any other substance. The amount wasn't much, but this was going into her pocket, not the hotel. My friend and I informed the hotel when we left, so I don't believe this will happen again.

A great hotel right in the middle of the action.

A nice modern hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and are made up daily. The only slight niggle would be that the room doesn't have a kettle, so I couldn't make a coffee in the morning or last thing at night. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

By far i had the worst experience in this hotel. When i entered the hotel i encountered grumpy and indifferent staff who rudely asked for my passport. No formal greetings or smile. Staff ruined my whole stay. Housekeeping at its worst. The most disturbing aspect was the attitude of the staff. Forget about customer service. You wont feel welcomed at this property. Towels were yellowish and dirty and when complained to the staff ....showed very little to no response. Staff fell short at every kind of request. I NOTICED that the staff smiled only to THAI LOCALS. I felt as if they don't like foreigners.
Hotel Room (deluxe balcony) was decent but the staff ruined my stay. They avoided me at all the times while entering & exiting the hotel.
So i wont recommend this hotel to solo or family travelers.

First time staying here and I really liked it. The a/c worked great and the room was clean. The hotel staff was nice and it's a guest friendly hotel. The best part for me is the location. Close to lk metro and soi buakhao but just a 5 min walk to soi 8 or soi 7.

Room not cleaned daily!! Shower drain blocked, but nobody on the staff knew how to clean it out.
One particular staff member remained in my room on the first day we moved in, and stood there asking for a tip 3 times!!!!!
The balcony door lock was unserviceable, and again nobody knew how to fix it. Just a phillips head screwdriver!!! Adjust the lock.

Horrible experience with front desk. Refusal to refund nights not used even when i showed them a copy of refund policy. Girl just said no refund. Could not and would not let expedia talk to her manager and kept giving expedia the run around.
Do not stay at this hotel. Its noisy and full of prostitutes late at night banging doors and fights with customers

Definitely wouod stay again!!

A very new hotel, the environment is perfect for me, cleanliness very well, price is good, and location is superb.
7-eleven just few step distance as well as the Pattaya best money changer TT.
Most important is u can easily walk to the main road which is second road, take songtiaw and go anywhere u want to go. If u want to go beach road easily, just walk a little bit more then u will be reached beach road within 5 mins.
The only one thing is not perfect for me is the female staff, maybe they should smile more. But of course they are all very helpful. As well as the male staffs all are very nice also.
Thank you The Scenery City Hotel and I definitely would come back stay here when i come Pattaya again!!

Good located hotel. The part of the staff is very surly. Good value for money.The shower is very bad, no good hot water and don't have power for the water so u need to take a shower with water drops.
Don't have kettle in the room that was very strange.
The wi if is not the worst but for sure need improvement.
The pool is underground pool so never see sun there.
The area is good with a lot food places and bars.

Condition of hotel is very fresh, new looking. In one room I stayed in though did just happen upon some condoms under the mattress so not sure how long they had been there. In another room I stayed there seemed that the mattress had bit of a problem on one side. Other than that this is a great place for me at the right price.

Imperitive to Choose your Room Location Wisely

About 70 meters away from the hotel on the 2nd Road is an outdoor beer bar complex with live bands. The BASS THUMPING from the live bands make all surrounding hotels a nightmare for a good night's sleep. AVOID any and ALL rooms on the front of the hotel as the live bands vibrate the walls until 3 AM it is so bad. The mad rantings of drunks until 6 Am at the street bars is also a great reason to refuse a room on the front. Also AVOID the 6th floor in the main wing. There is a water pump on the roof that literally shakes the room with vibrations and noise. This pump is continuously off, on, off ,on. Even a new hotel, the mattresses are now worn out, ditched, and compacted. Very polite and responsive front desk staff and excellent housekeepers. Oh, and the room door locks are very poorly engineered: to close and lock one's door upon leaving, the door must be slammed to close it. It's so bad you can hear doors being slammed 2 floors down. Never a soul seen in the pool which is located in a dark cave, cold water as zero sun, next to the lobby, not on the roof like all other hotels. If you are in party mode and drinking yourself into a coma nightly coming from the fantastic LK metro venues nearby, this is ideal for you.

Great hotel in a central location

I chose this hotel based on price and it turned out to be a bargain. The room is spacious for 2 people, I had a room at the back and it was quiet all night, there is a narrow balcony and the doors open wide, the room got all day sunshine, the air conditioning was good and the pool was very useful on the hot days. Staff were efficient . The rooms were kept clean and tidy. The location was good and I walked to both south and north Pattaya without much trouble and the beach is 10 minutes away. The in-room WIFI signal is strong. I can't think of anything to complain about and I liked it so much that I extended my stay by an extra 2 days. While there is no restaurant in the hotel there are lots of options to eat in close proximity and we were able to get a cooked breakfast across the soi for less than 250 baht for 2 people. There is a laundry next door which is also very inexpensive.

Good Value for Money with Cleaniness

It is my first time and over all experience was Very good. The location of the hotel is on 2nd Road and that is just 5 minutes walk from Beach. Lots of places to eat around this hotel. Just come down and you can see 7/11 catering to your needs 24 hours. The balcony of the room also adds value in that.

Pleasant stay for the 5 nights.

The check in staff were friendly and quick. The cleaning ladies were friendly and made sure that the room and bathroom were stocked with water and toiletries. As the hotel does not have a restaurant, having free teas and coffee making facilities in the room would be appreciated considering the price charged per night. Besides the banging of the odd doors at night by the inconsiderate guests, my stay overall was pleasant for the 5 nights.

Great Little Hotel

Arrived to the hotel late evening, Check-in was quick and efficient. Lovely friendly staff, was taken to my room in no time. First impressions were Great new hotel. clean spacious rooms comfortable large beds and powerful shower. Good value for money. don't expect great views and 5 star rooms. This hotel is Basic but clean comfortable and affordable. Great little indoor pool for morning swim. Loved my 18 nights stay here.
