Rooms were clean,staff always helpful!Hotel is in a good location.The only downside to the hotel,is the live loud music every night from 10 pm to 3 a.m.I stayed at the hotel in Jan 2025,and it was quiet all night!I moved hotels after 20 nights,and I am sleeping so much better.

Areca Lodge Hotel Stay

Different blocks, we were originally in one of the old blocks where rooms had not been renovated and the pool area not very nice, also a long walk from reception, the view from the balcony was overlooking a dirty unused terrace, we asked for another room which was eventually given to us, from then on we enjoyed our holiday, very clean modern room, great breakfast, check in staff not overly welcoming but it was busy

Great location

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and love the location but I have always stayed in the refurbished side this time we were put in the old side which needs a refurbishment but that would not stop me rebooking as I love the pool and location . I suffer with very bad arthritis and find the bath difficult to get in and out of they could maybe do with a few rooms with showers and some hand rails in the shallow part of the pool

On the first day of my arrival (16/12/24) i stayed on the main building but the first day it was a bit difficult for me to sleep because of the noise from the crowd and bars. I asked if they could move me to a different room and fortunately they did. Thank you so much for the service you have provided, no complaints whatsoever. 10/10 - Friendly service, great breakfast and lovely room service.

Booked what was advertised as a Luxury room, paying the higher rate, the room was tired, no walk in shower, no plugs at the side of the bed, except one for the lamp. Also, I was quoted £100 cheaper when I booked the room several months before, when I paid at reception, how was it £100 more expensive? the exchange rate can of course fluctuate, but I have cheched the rates on both dates and it did change by a few Baht? Either Hotels got it badly wrong or the Hotel. The Hotel shrugged their shoulders. Be careful when booking and getting a GBP quote, you might get a nasty suprise. Also. the breakfast was excellent upto the point where one morning, my niece cut into a grilled tomato and discovered maggots, allbeit, cooked. We raised this with the staff but they just shrugged it off, no apology or follow up.

Major construction work on the hotel premises make it difficult to navigate between front lobby and the Evergreen Tower. At times there is a golf cart ride available but usually there is a long wait and it stops around 10pm. Not suitable for elder guests or those with a walking impairment. Hotel should provide a notice of the problem at booking time.

fantastic, great clean modern room , cleaned daily, best shower room ive ever been in, toiletries provided etc, good big bed, great tv, nice little balcony overlooking pool, felt very secure and safe. Staff excellent. only slight thing is i there is no remote control for aircon so you have to get out of bed to near the door to turn off etc, but a classy place, so near the action yet completely quiet

Sadly, the hotel attract the “Pattaya Paedos”!
Too many single middle aged to older men only in Pattaya for one thing.
I was actually there working, but felt that I was being judged as I was alone.
Very good hotel if you have no problem with this. Would never stay here as a solo man, but would as as part of a couple

Ive stayed in many places in pattaya over the last 20 years but never the Areca until this trip. I originally booked 16 nights but then rebooked a further 6 as i dont think anything else can match the location price and fantastic buffet breakfast. I'll be returning in March next year for sure

This property was very clean and modern. The location is perfect being only steps away from LK metro and Soi Bukhao. I alos found the bar Cafe at the main entrance to be very handy and reasonably priced. Balcony was large and comfortable as well. Overall great facility

OMG this is the best place I've ever stayed at in Pattaya and I have stayed at some amazing places. Super nice helpful staff and friendly. The breakfast is so delicious with a huge variety of food. I even tried the room service which way great. There are 2 different pools to enjoy with sun or shade seats. The bar and resto at the main (big) pool but still serve to the smaller pool. We were a slow 5 minute walk to the main Rd in Pattaya. So many restaurants bars pool tables. To many places to mention in this area. If you go out the back way you will find a 7/11 and Avenue Pattaya, motorcycle taxi there. Less then a 15min walk to the beach. We will definitely be going back here again. Cheers

GREAT service from entire staff!!!

Areca Lodge is my go to hotel in Pattaya and I have stayed there many times. This trip was one of my best experiences. The hotel and its amenities are always very nice but this time the entire staff was so friendly and just stood out. We checked in at midnight and the staff was very friendly and efficient and quickly got all 4rooms checked-in in minutes. The pool staff always knew what we like to drink and would let us know at breakfast if our favorite smoothies were available that day. The massage staff was incredible and the ladies gave probably the best massage I have had in Pattaya. The front desk staff was always friendly and greeted us when we left and returned to the property. House-keeping was very efficient whenever I put on my \"make up room\" notice. I guess I expect the amenities to be good at Areca but the service really stood out from top to bottom.

Great hotel and superb staff. Only thing letting it down was the bathroom. In building 2 they are very old and tired. However this building is closing in May for refurbishing. Everything else was excellent, including the location for shopping eating nightlife etc. but what really makes it great is the staff.

Great location & nice hotel all round even if rooms are a bit dated now. I stayed here before & wanted to return for the last week off my holidays to chill out by the great swimming pool (thay have 2 pool nice & big so can swim).
Breakfast buffet is include which has good choice all round tastes.
Rooms could do with some more plugs if i being honest but i travel with a extension lead so wasn't to big problem.
Nice clean & staff are great, friendly, helpful.

Nice but won't stay again as VERY poor wifi

Hotel is nice and staff are friendly BUT wifi in the hotel was very poor., which made it difficult for me to work. The IT man came to my room which did help but around the hotel many apps such would not work as the wifi was unsecured. Also you have to get new wifi codes every 7 days which was annoying .

Great Place!

Had the “Luxury Room” in the Evergreen wing. It was a very large room with a nice balcony and pool view. Only cons: no microwave and the bathroom had a tub which was very dangerous to take a shower in. I would’ve definitely preferred a walk-in shower. All in all; very nice stay there!

Areca lodge is in a prime location for night-life.

Breakfast is now in an area that doesn't have air-conditioning, so that was disappointing.
Pools are great.
Maid service is great.
The GYM.......is terrible because of the air-conditioning that doesnt work and the lack of fans to keep you cooler when working out.
I asked the lady in the massage room if i can use her fan as the air-conditioning in the massage area was cold and she said NO.
After raising the issue with a manager 1 fan was brought in. Hardly enough.
Overall a pleasant stay and i would stay there again but i will just join a nearby gym
