Great hotel in a good area. Excellent for night owls. I would suggest getting 2 room keys in order to keep the air conditioning on while you are out, room takes awhile to cool off. Other than that the hotel is wonderful and I would book again next year!

So the room is actually nice, pool area is good reception was average. However the noise coming from the nearby bars on the north side of the building are insanely loud. The bass was vibrating the room and I was on the fifth floor. In any civilized country this would be completely a noise violation and the place would be shut down but in Thailand it’s not an issue. While checking in there were several guests complaining about the night before in reference to the noise. One gentleman was actually demanding the staff call the police. The staff was helpless which there is not much they can do but in all honestly the owner should say something to the authorities. The property is also attached to a full body massage parlor which might be an issue for some. Would not suggest staying there with a family. If you want to get to sleep anytime before 5am do NOT book this hotel!

A really pleasant hotel in a very central location. My room was facing the street and was much quieter than a previous stay where I was facing the back of the hotel and a large area filled with clubs with competing sound systems. My room was spotlessly clean and everything worked perfectly. The staff were helpful and polite and always willing to offer advice about the area. I really like the pool area on the roof: it's a quiet oasis in a bustling city. My stay included breakfast at the 247's sister hotel just across the street. The breakfast was adequate: the fresh eggs were great but everything else sat out for a long time.

Very nice hotel, great bed, underpowered aircon
I've stayed in this hotel for 3 trips now. It has one of the best beds you can find in a Pattaya hotel. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are small, but nice. The cleaning staff was notably improved this time as it appears there is new management that owns 2 or more other properties also on Soi Honey. My only complaint is that the aircon is a bit underpowered and they do not have fans to provide to the room. They provided me with an extra key to keep the aircon on while away, however the last 2 days the cleaning staff turned off the aircon after cleaning despite tipping them everyday leaving a very warm room to return to at night and a lengthy wait for the room to cool off after turning it back on.

The hotel stands nicely back from the road and is quite private. In the centre of soi Honey so easy access to everywhere. Appearance is beautifully clean and smart. Reception is competent and friendly and pleased to offer any help. My room was wonderful, very clean and still new looking. Very quiet too considering some other reviews about noise. Make the effort to find the stairs and go up to the rooftop pool and gym - brilliant ! I would 100% recommend this lovely hotel and I would love to return here again.

New bars in back of hotel ruin the experience
I have been going to this hotel for years; it had been my choice of places. However I don't think I'll be returning. Most of the rooms face the new Tree Town complex with it's constant music all night. It was near impossible to sleep until the music stopped at 3-4am. It pains me to write it as the hotel had been good for me for several years, but until they can get better soundproofing I can't see myself returning. You might find it better to stay facing Soi Honey, but the rooms on that side are limited.

Unfortunately very rude staff in the reception. Been staying at this hotel many times, and it has become worse. The staff treat customers like walking ATM:s. Very greedy. Also all you see at the hotel is signs that tell you what you’re not allowed to do. They have WiFi but it’s not working.

Room was tidy and cleaned every day, hotel had a nice small pool and gym on roof. Breakfast was ok if not basic, it was the same every day but eggs were freshly cooked. Room at back of hotel was quite noisy from beer garden area from 06:00 till late. Evening sleep not always possible. Overall stay was good and good value for what we paid.

Great location. Nice staff. Room 401 smelled of cigarettes even though it’s a non-smoking room. I informed font desk immediately as there is a 2000 baht fine for smoking in the room. No other rooms were available. I didn’t mind, but if cigarette smell bothers you, avoid room 401.

This hotel is one of a number of properties operated by a group on the same street. 247 is a comfortable hotel with two stand-out features. Firstly, the bedding is comparatively soft by Thailand standards, which will be welcomed by foreigners not used to firm/hard Thai mattresses. Secondly, the large walk-in shower is good. It has two shower heads (handheld and rainfall) to choose between, has good water pressure and is capable of truly hot temperatures, which will be appreciated by some travellers. Otherwise, there is nothing really exceptional about the hotel and the price feels a bit higher than it should be. The location is reasonably quiet as it is not on the side of the street that overlooks Soi LK Metro (bars).

Overall pleasant experience , rooms are small (22sqm) but the space is utilized quite well so the room feels bigger than it actually is, room includes a 2 seater sofa tucked up next to the window which is a nice touch. The big downside for me was the noise from the new tree town complex behind the hotel, not sure I would stay again just for that reason or else ask for a room on the Soi 11 side. For a minimal cost I recommend adding the breakfast option, can't beat the price for a breakfast for two. The breakfast selection is the same everyday but they have an egg station that prepares fresh eggs and pancakes which is a nice touch. Laundry facilities and family mart are nearby also. Not recommended for families due to location (lots of massage places nearby)

Hotel reception staff very surly, told us did not have landline to phone out of hotel needed to confirm airport pick up and could only make call on mobile which had flat battery and had to wait for it to be charged and the cost was added to our bill. The only negative you will find is tuk tuk drivers do not know the place because it has only been open a few months. Take a 247 Boutique business card with you so tuk tuk driver can ring hotel to get directions

Very nice hotel- the decor in the room is all fresh and new, even if the rooms are a bit on the small side. Staff are extremely friendly and keen to please. Good room wifi. The rooftop pool is also quite small- good for a dip to cool off, but you can't really swim. However, as well as sun lounges around the pool itself, there is an adjoining area with seats and coaches to sit around in the rooftop sun.
Note for those planning on bringing back new friends- there is a 139 baht joiner fee.
The big negative is beyond their control- there is a construction site at the back of the hotel. The noise from this I didn't find too bad to stop me having an afternoon nap. However, when I came back to my room about 5pm I thought for a moment I had left the TV on with the volume on full. Not so- it was a bar across the way with music pumping at full volume. I did have to turn the volume on the TV to the max to hear dialogue in the movie that was on. Gave up and went out for the night, and when I got back at 3am all was quiet- but anybody on that side of the hotel that was trying for an early night would have to be a deep sleeper using serious industrial earplugs.

2nd stay at this hotel. I dont need to look for any where else for my trips unless they are sold out. If their was one complaint it would be construction and loud music at the rear of the building. Had this issue and asked to switch rooms. The staff was very accommodating and not only moved my room but upgraded my room to a bigger nicer one in the front. The staff is great and the price and location is great aswell. Hotel is in the central of everything.

Arrived late in the evening, but was greeted nicely. Room as advertised, and I have stayed before so was happy to see that the property has been maintained at a high level. Attentive staff, friendly and helpful. Very clean. Close to most things, and although a bit noisy at night, still in an excellent position, Anew hotel by the same owner is being built behind this one, let's hope it is as good. Excellent value for money indeed.

The staff were great nothing was ever a problem and always friendly.The rooms felt very up market and clean, really nice bathroom and the wi fi was very fast and never dropped out. Even though the hotel is amoung all the action the rooms were very quiet and you are only a 5 min walk from the beach and the Central shopping mall. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again
