This hotel has changed owners, name, entrance door

Not the hotel I expected. I know Pattaya well and the pin drop location was the hotel I expected to stay in that I have in the past. Appears the owners had Financial difficulty’s according to the court papers posted on the boarded front entrance. The place we stayed in was at the rear of the unit with entrance down a narrow road. A car could not get to the hotel door so you have to walk 50 meters with baggage. This property houses the local synagogue on the 2nd floor and so has a regular police presence in the lobby. That said rooms fine but no view and no balcony I was expecting from the pictures and previous stays. Would not say the price we paid was reflected in the accommodation we got. Plus points location is right in the thick of things and staff were nice and helpful

Good size, excellent location, cheerful member of staff. The main door of my room was a bit harsh making too much noise when closing. Also there was a little leekage from the shower screen. No major issues. Happy to stay again.

Nice surroundings like the pool. The condominium portion of the hotel is fine. Slightly shoddy build quality. Bathroom door doesn’t close but it’s a single room so it doesn’t matter. It’s difficult to find. Staff at the actual hotel location need to direct you to a side alleyway to get to the condo version of the hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly overall.

The address was difficult to find because of this hotel's extremely close proximity to Centara Azure Hotel (I believe Google Maps even guides people to that location when they are searching for the address to Centra by Centara Avenue). Overall, Centra Hotel was nice; however, the hot tub next to the swimming pool did not work, and my bathroom sink had a small drip and/or leak that I could not locate (at the end of the day the towel on the bathroom floor would be wet from soaking up the water). When I first arrived, the TV's speakers were not working and the staff replaced the entire TV in less than 10 minutes. The hotel service was nice and the bed was very comfortable (it felt like a Sealy Posturepedic mattress).

Locate way back into a sub-street, however the joining sister property is very generous to share entrances / a renovation on the infrastructure in the main street makes things really difficult to travelling around. This was in June so better check about this city’s constructions before you book a hotel in Pattaya

Great, just not a 10!

My 1st time at this hotel and overall everything was good. It advertised Steamroom and Sauna, neither one was working. And the breakfast was served in a different location. Those were my only two drawbacks to this hotel. I will stay there again, the location was perfect.

Great stay here. Staff were friendly. Access to multiple pools was good. Room cleaned daily with 2 free water bottles. Comfy pillow top mattress. Location was excellent, close to bars and restaurants and pool venue. Would highly recommend and will be staying here again for a great price too.

The property is basic with nothing above average. The room is run by your room key, meaning nothing in the room is running when you leave...No AC, No mini fridge... Don't expect anything in your room to be cool when you return (especially your drinks in the mini fridge). The hot water seemed to be on vacation as well only returning on the last day of my stay. The room was clean and everything else worked as designed.

It’s horrible.
At the beginning my room the air con is not cool. Then I request to change the room. After I change my room, the room is no flush. That was 1am. I complaint to the front desk. They would not care . It’s super horrible. This hotel total ruin my vacation. I really can’t take rest after whole day in pattaya

The hotel is in a convenient location and short walk to many restaurants, shops, stores, leisure and entertainment activities.The property has no restaurant or bar, guests must walk about 50 meters outside along shared pool area (with a condo complex) to its sister hotel the Centara Azure for dining/drinking options. My room has a DVD player mounted under the desk with metal mount having exposed sharp edges that can cut/scratch bare legs..

The presentation & cleanliness of the hotel & room were exceptional.
The room is spacious with walk in bathroom & shower. There is a fridge provided which you can use for food & drinks. The bed is very comfortable and you can indicate if you want your room cleaned using the touch panel system.
If there were a problem, it were dealt with efficiently and to a satisfactory standard. There were a problem with the electrics in my room but the hotel moved us to an upgraded room with balcony free of charge which were a fantastic resolution.
All staff are friendly and are willing to help with good English language skills.

Good hotel and good value for money. It has a pool although it's a bit dated with limited sun loungers. Also has gym, sauna & Jewish restaurant with prayer room if that's your thing. Would stay again user friendly for sure.

Beware of the Grumpy old condo user

This is a great hotel in a great location it has all a new condo sister hotel the only thing that let it down was the hotel pool it only had 4 Sun beds and were mostly taken up by the same condo guests on asking one well know old condo guest for a bed he got aggressive and I had to get manager he seemed to think that he had the priority on everything by the pool the umbrella the chairs the beds unfortunately the management did not resolve any matter with him so be aware if you go there you will encounter the rude arrogant old man the hotel pool should be for hotel guest only seeing as there are only 4 beds and the management should be there to enforce this

Overall had a good stay.Staff friendly,rooms clean with comfortable bed. Small swimming pool and gym in the roof. Only four sun loungers however you are able to use pool at sister hotel at the back of this one which has plenty. Would stay here again

Good hotel for the price

Good points:
Great shower, good service, decent facilities (safe in room, touchpanel controls, small but acceptable gym and very small but still quite pleasant rooftop swimming pool, steam and sauna rooms etc.) and pretty good buffet breakfast.

Bad points:
Entrance to hotel is through a small alley with garbage piled up against the wall. Not a nice first impression at all and not nice to have to walk past every day. Very strong, strange damp garbage smell in lobby - amazed that nobody seemed bothered by it or looked like they wanted to fix it. Finally, hotel is very middle-Eastern / Israeli so if you're not fron that region, you might not feel fully welcome / comfortable.

Crowded - sleazy area - virtually no parking\n

The hotel is in a crowded area dominated by bars and obviously adult establishments. There is no parking and entrance is through an extremely narrow alley. The staff is indifferent and the staff at the adjacent Centara where breakfast is served is uncooperative ans almost rude. I am sorry we booked this hotel and most certainly will not do so again

Good location for nightlife

The hotel is OK. I had some problems with my safe twice and they fixed it within an hour both times. They let a guest I had previously into my room without key or being registered. To be fair she had been with me a week before that but they should not have done that anyway. The staff is very friendly and the area is very good if you like the LK Metro area. There are also a lot of good restaurants nearby if you do not like the breakfast and food that the hotel provides. Good value for money. The hotel is guest friendly.

first time I have left a negative review for A 4*

Really bad service. Asked for a high floor quiet room that was booked months in advance. Was put on the 3rd floor overlooking the entrance so no sleep for the entire stay. Room was not made ptoperly when I arrived, only one towel and no hot water on day 1. Day 2 room. Not cleaned at all. Day 3 room only half made up and no towels! (are you sensing a trend?) they were not interested in moving me to a roomThat better met my requirements.

I have stayed at a few Centara hotels before, however I will not consider this chain again.

The standard room is a little small.
Something not advertised it is a Kosher hotel, with a Kosher restaurant.
Mostly populated with Arab and Indian men - whose manners may be different to what you are used to.
Overall, recommended.

Simply nothing to complain about with this hotel although we did not eat there. Check in easy room small but all the mod cons. Huge tv fast WiFi bed a little hard but that's the norm in Thailand. Not a huge carpark but enough space for us.

Well located hotel, great staff, good rooms :)

This hotel is modern, nice and clean, well located down a small lane off Soi Dianna Inn and close to LK Metro, but far enough away to avoid any noise. The staff are all helpful from the receptionists to house cleaning, everyone went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and functional, with decent beds and nice showers. The pool, sauna and gym on the roof are good and open until 9pm which is good for an evening dip.
My only issue is the lack of decent TV stations (for those times you just want to unwind), but this is a very small thing as you're not really meant to be watching TV while on holidays, esp in Thailand.
All in all I enjoyed my stay here and would gladly use this hotel and their other named hotels in the future.

Hotel location was great, central to everything. Facilities were reasonable, however note that this is a Kosher oriented hotel, which if you are not that way in coined, was very limiting for breakfast (no bacon/meat and bring your own milk for coffee)

Stay away so far from Walking Street

Ja the receptionist was so rude to me and threatened me at check-in. The hotel charges for every single thing and tries to make money on everything. They even try to charge you 200 baht if you don't return the 2 cent key card. They will make every effort to try and get more money out of you during your stay. Security is sleeping at night.

Stayed 3 nights, breakfast is include. Choice of breakfast is too less and last day (26th Dec'15), cold breakfast is serve (e.g. salad, bread with jams)due to no electrical!!

Room floor is design with tiles which is good for beach hotel but no slipper provide. If wear own slippers and shoes, it will dirty the room and bed; if bare foot, feel cold to walk on air con room and tile floor. Suggest hotel to consider provide slipper.

Shower room edges shall improve and remove those black moist mark.

Like the bed and On/Off device. Bed is very comfortable and On/Off devices are easy operate and nice design.

Hope the hotel will improve and consider the above suggestion!

the hotel, being very brand new, is in excellent condition! The room and bathroom are gleaming new and have some nice modern fittings (including TV - but hardly any channels - maybe 2 english channels, and 4 non-english). All power sockets have universal plugs so you can fit pretty much any country's electrical plug into them. There is also a DVD player (or was it a blu-ray player?)

Quiet hotel near main road

I stayed in Centra Avenue Pattaya Hotel during my trip through Thailand and enjoyed the stay. The rooms and building were very clean and the desk staff were helpful with everything. The rooms were modern and well-kept as were the pool and gym facilities.

Small hidden and new

It is very new and pretty hotel tucked away down a small alley. Finding it is not easy the first time. They have a tuk tuk but it doe snot move even when I asked for a ride as a guest. The rooms are pretty because they are new. Small rooms which worked for me but may be too small for others. Only room issue was the horrible smell from the water pipes, shower,sink etc. Smell was in every room as I did look in others. Some staff are wonderful such as Lee and others could care less and were lazy. An example of lazy is each day a front desk person would be near the door but he would never open the door for a guest as in other hotels.

The pool is on the roof and small. The issue with the pool is the tiles are not smooth and one could get an injury very easy of the rough and unfinished look of the pool. Also several dozen tiles are missing, very poor workmanship and seems incomplete. Everything on rooftop is nice albeit small. Small gym and pool work if nobody is there.

The shower leaks all over due to poor finishing of the walls.

Bottom line is , it is new and pretty with at least one staffer doing well. It is nice now but with poor construction and incomplete work and the awful sewer smell this is worthy of a stay this summer but next time around it will be in far worse shape.

The local staff are polite but very slow in processing. Maybe just not experienced enough. The most irritating thing is the 1000 baht deposit required for each night. That is steep for this city and this level of hotel. Several customers were arguing this point each time I walked through the lobby. Very compact, clean and functional. A pretty good place to stay if you like the area. Pool is small but at least they have one and a workout room. No view other than to look directly into a hotel that will open soon. You are paying for a room but a good one if you appreciate functionality.

Cette Hôtel a une particularité, il héberge un lieu de culte, ce qui ai surprenant, le petit déjeuner est servi au même endroit que le lieu de culte à des heures de prière et recueillement, nous avons donc pris que 2 fois la collation proposé car cela était très gênant de ce retrouver au milieu de ces pratiquant . La piscine petite et il n’y a que 4 transats le jacuzzi était en panne pendant nos 13 jours de séjour la salle de sport sale est équipements vétuste, prix élevé pour les prestations fournies, hôtels mal isolés du bruit de la vie nocturne jusqu’à 3 heures du matin musique du L’as Vegas qui est à quelques mètres je déconseille !!!!
