Das Zimmer war sauber und für uns beide definitiv groß genug! Die Matratzen etwas hart, aber trotzdem nicht unangenehm. Danke nochmal an die Rezeptionistin, die den späten Checkin möglich gemacht hat und uns auch direkt Frühstück mit dazugebucht hat! Parkplätze gibt es übrigens auch genug ;)

I mistakenly booked this hotel, confusing it with another we’d previously stayed at. Had I read the reviews first, I would’ve looked elsewhere, but with a non-refundable booking, we decided to give it a chance and arrived with open minds.
Unfortunately, things went wrong immediately. We arrived just after 8 p.m. on a Thursday to find reception closed, despite the hotel listing a 24/7 front desk. I called the number on the door and was told I had to pay an additional tourism tax before receiving the key. There was no mention of this tax on the hotel or Hotels.com site, and the listing clearly stated that any additional fees were due at check-out.
The exterior didn’t inspire confidence either—groups of men standing around smoking and drinking. I wanted to leave then, but my wife was exhausted after a long day of travel so I paid the fee and we got the key.
Upon entering the room we were hit with a stale cigarette smell and loud noise from what sounded like a party next door. With no real front desk support and the likelihood of getting no sleep in a smelly room, we quickly decided to leave.
We called the Delphi Hotel in Neu Wulmstorf and, within 20 minutes, were warmly welcomed into a fresh, modern room.
Hotel Neugrabener Hof may be cheap, but it offers little value. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

There was lack of power outlets. Actually there were more of them in bathroom that room itself. I´m used to bed having outlet at each side....
It´s locaton .... in´t on busy noisy street, so shops are close by, so are the cars.
And lastly ... drain in shower could use some tweaking. more water could go in that managed to go out.

The Hotel Neugrabener Hof is a nice choice about a 25 minute journey from Central Station on the S Bahn. The S Bahn station is a 10 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is on the main road and yet, it is very quiet in the evening. The breakfast buffet counter and tables were set up with loving care. The coffee is a special treat each cup ground to perfection! My room was comfortable and the bath room was recently updated. This made my week's stay in Hamburg most enjoyable!

We contacted the hotel prior to booking to confirm they had availability for our dog, they did but at a higher rate than on Expedia. We booked with Expedia and upon arrival were told our room was not ready as there was flooding and water on the floor. Asked us to wait and hour or so as they cleaned the room which would have made us extremely late for the concert we were going to. Accommodated us by sending us to a sister hotel, which was fine, front counter staff was cordial, room was clean, nothing special. Thankfully close to the train station, we missed the first 30 mins of the show.

I loved the fact that we were able to check in through the phone before we arrived and they gave us instructions to get access to our room, because we arrived at midnight. The hotel has free parking, it is very close to public transportation, staff speaks English, they offer breakfast for a reasonable price, and our room was clean.

Rummet var ok, luktade dock gammal rök i rummet. Vi anlände när receptionen stängt och fick ringa tre gånger innan vi fick svar och kunde komma in. Det stod på sidan att alla husdjur var tillåtna gratis men det stämde inte. Vid utcheckning ville de ha 15 euro extra.
Frukosten var riktigt dålig tyvärr, ett smalt utbud och kändes inte helt färskt.
Funkar absolut att tillbringa en natt på detta hotell om man inte har höga förväntningar på en lugn natt utan störande av bilar på vägen utanför och en härlig hotellfrukost på morgonen.

Fint sted, hvis man vil overnatte syd for Elben og vil videre derfra. Morgenmad fra kl. 7. Kinesisk restaurant med enorm buffet 250 meter henne ad vejen, også åbent søndag. Tankstation ved siden af, supermarkeder tæt på.

Die Heizung war kaputt es wurde eine elektroheizung in den Raum gestellt. Der handgriff vom Fenster, der zwei Monate vorher schon kaputt war, wurde noch nicht repariert.

Der var ingen i receptionen. Vi var nok de eneste gæster. Der var ingen morgenmad. Det personale der var kom for at få nøglen og modtage betaling af skat, hvilket ikke var uden problemer da personen hverken talte tysk eller engelsk. Parkering var ok og værelset var fint

So manches war nicht wirklich geputzt oder etwas der Föhn nur provisorisch an eine Steckdose geklemmt, ich als Elektriker kann nur sagen das ist nicht nur brand- sondern auch lebensgefährlich. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt OK.

Seifenspender waren bei Ankunft leer. Wurde auch nicht aufgefüllt, obwohl es am Anreisetag mitgeteilt wurde. Keinen Zimmerservice erhalten. Benutzte Klamotten vom Vorgast im Schrank noch gefunden.

Der var slet ikke varme i badeværelset og vinduet var åbent da vi kom. Så badeværelset var isnende koldt og det blev ikke varmet op i den periode vi var der. Desuden er lysforholdene meget dårligt på badeværelset, føntørreren virkede ikke og vores sengelamper virkede kun en gang i mellem. Små ting der skal ændres og det ville være et godt sted at være.

Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet und bietet für den EInkauf sehr gut Möglichkeiten. Ein Supermarkt und diverse andere EInkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in direkter Nachbarschaft. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr nett und bei Fragen sehr hilfsbereit. Ich selber würde das Hotel wieder buchen und kann es ruhigen gewissens empfehlen.

En el anuncio ponía, recepción 24 horas. Al llegar y localizar la recepción, lo que de noche es dificilísimo al no haber iluminación que se vea desde la carretera, nos encontramos solo un número de teléfono... y no era correcto. Tuvimos que buscar en Internet el hotel y tras la angustia, allí nos cogió un señor que nos indicó. Pasamos dos noches y la primera nos despertó la recepcionista INSISTENTEMENTE A LAS 7.30 porque creía era nuestro (no era así) un coche mal aparcado. Lejísimos de Hamburgo, está a una media hora en coche y sospecho que las comunicaciones por transporte público deben ser caras y dificilísimas. Frigorífico mini que apenas enfría. Big Varning. A hotel if they dont notice about it. You have to expect your own bathroom in the room. The bathrom was located outside the romm to share with other romm. There is no info about that in the booking or the info about the hotel Very small rom. And the reception was closed when we arrive. we have to call to get the room key from a key box.
