The hotel does not have a working lift. The rooms do not have a telephone to call the reception. No additional pillow available. No hot water kettle available in the room. Not good value for money.

I had booked for double bed , but I was given single bed room, since no1 was available at the time I checked in , and was said tht I will get a cal for repay back the extra amount took, but till now I dint receive any call or mail yet on same !

Website said it was 0.2km from city but what they actually meant was 0.2km from station. Breakfast was bad only fesh fruit was apples. Juices were of a low quality concentrate.

Close to s Bahn station. Contrary to hotel info it does not have 6 restaurants nor 4 coffee bars! Which, due to it only having 18 rooms, you hopefully already had guessed. There is a nice italian restaurant about 10min walk away( on main road opposite direction to station)
Hamburg by train takes about 30minutes. Do buy a hamburg card. If traveling after 9am or anytime at weekend it is only €11.20 for up to 5 people. You can travel anywhere within 3 zones by S Bahn, u Bahn bus and even ferries.

A very decent hostel - but not a hotel
We stayed at the Hotel Altenwerder Hof for five nights over the Christmas Holidays while visiting family nearby in Neugraben.
The Altenwerder Hof is a very functional place. It's clean and ok if you are looking for a place in Neugraben just to sleep. That said, the mattresses were overly soft. The room was small - less than half the 400plus sqft mentioned in the booking confirmation. There was no receiptionist to be seen at any time except when we checked in - but a phone number to call if help was needed. Our hallway smelled of heavy smoke every evening, even though this supposedly is a non-smoking hotel. Again - overall nothing bad can be said - it simply was not a hotel-like experience. We felt like visiting a youth hostel. Location near the main Neugraben train station is very convenient - but not clearly not the best part of Neugraben. Free wifi is a plus.

Pænt og ordentligt værelse. Vi havde opredning, og den ekstra seng var i stykker og havde været udsat for et mislykkedes forsøg på reparation. Lagde man sig med hovedet i fodenden, var det muligt at ligge OK.

En stor miss i toaletten. Dörren tog i handfatet på toaletten vilket störde mycket. Sköna sängar. Det stod en skål med karameller på receptionsdisken, i en karamell var det myror i så kolla innan ni stoppar de i munnen. Inte alls stort utbud i frukostbuffén.

Det såg väldigt trist ut utanför. Ovårdat. Däremot var det fräscht när vi kom in. Vi blev insläppta i vårt rum, som inte hade AC trots att det stod det skulle finnas. Efter en stund började vår taklampa blinka, och vi sa till i receptionen. Hon tyckte inte det var ett problem. Vi höll inte med, men hon struntade fullständigt i att hjälpa oss med det och vi fick lösa det genom att släcka lampan. I övrigt var rummet bra. Lite hårda madrasser. Duschdörrarna var inte helt fungerande. Frukosten hade ett bra utbud, och fräscht, men serverades på ett väldigt litet bord, i ett lite småkallt källarrum. Natten blev lite för varm. Och för allt det här så fick vi betala lite väl mycket. Vi har varit på B&Bs för halva priset men där allt var bra. Fick ingen rabatt för den trasiga lampan.

Ett enklt hotell, rätt och slätt!
Ett helt vanligt hotell, inte mer men kanske lite mindre. Vid första anblicken av rummet blir man positivt överraskad- det är rymligt och genomtänkt med inredning. Sedan känner du doften som är svår att bestämma, en blandning av kraftigt rengöringsmedel med stark blomdoft och surt instängt badrum. Frukosten serveras i ett hjälpligt uppiffat källarrum, du har absolut möjlighet att äta dig mätt men förvänta dig inga kulinariska upplevelser.

Hotel has very little isolation, you hear people extremly loud. If someone shower on the flow above it sounds like it is in your room. Staff friendly and helpful but did not seem happy to be there and was more interested in their phone.

Unser Zimmer war im Kellergeschoss, darauf hat uns die Rezeption vor Ort hingewiesen und gefragt, ob das in Ordnung ist. Eine Alternative wurde uns nicht angeboten, da dies das letzte Zimmer sei. Licht fiel durch zwei wenig reizvolle Lichtschächte in das ansonsten saubere Zimmer. Rolläden / Vorhänge gibt es nicht. Für die weniger lichtempfindlichen Gäste fungiert kann ein sehr Pflicht beflissener Hahn in der Nachbarschaft als Wecker dienen. Frühstück ist von 7-10 und die Küche ist unmittelbar nebenan. Das Bad ist neu renoviert und sauber. Zum übernachten hat es uns gut gereicht. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde sich mein Rücken eine bessere Matratze wünschen.

Durch eine defektes Rücklaufsystem in der Heizungsanlage kam es temporär zu lauten Geräuschen in den Wasserleitungen. In der Nacht von ca 3 Uhr bis in die Morgenstunden röhrten die Wasserleitungen sehr laut wenn Warmwasser genutzt wurde. Die Frau an der Rezeption wusste davon und dass scchon seit längerer Zeit. Im Badezimmer hingen die Tapeten von der Decke. Der Fussboden unter den Betten war verschmutzt. Der Frühstücksraum war ein Abstellraum im Keller !!!

Et ganske fint hotel til et pitstop på vej sydover i Europa. Der var meget pænt og rent, personalet var venlige. Vi modtog en dør kode så vi selv kunne tjekke os ind. Den blev videregivet over telefonen på vej derned og derfor lidt svært at forstå/modtage så var lidt usikre på om det nu virkede når vi nåede frem, den besked kunne være rar at få i app´en. Morgenmad var ganske fin. Vi kunne finde parkering på gaden ved hotellet. Tænker bestemt at vi kunne finde på at gøre hold en anden gang.

Ehrlich, wäre ich nach 7 Stunden fahrt nicht so k.o gewesen hätte ich uns was anderes gesucht. Okey es war nur für eine Nacht, aber ein zweites mal würde ich keine 85€ für 1 E & 1Kind hinblättern für so ein Zimmer.

Håber virkeligt Hotels.com får rettet beskrivelserne&priserne til på dette forfærdelige hotel. Betalte ca. DKK 1800 for EN overnatning for 2 voksne og 2 børn i et meget lille soveværelse med eget toilet/bad, uden morgenmad. Indtjekningstidspunktet kl. 15, men da vi ankom ca. kl 22, skulle vi lede efter folk, ingen i receptionen. Da vi fik værelset, var det ikke klart/rengjort! Den ældre mand kunne ikke et ord på engelsk, virkede fuld/forvirrende/meget ubehagelig. Ubehagelig nok til at jeg satte en stol foran døren om aftenen, fordi jeg følte meget utilpas der. Værelset var beskidt, støvet med tomme ølflasker&glas. Revnede vægge og lofter. Sengetøjet lå rodet og brugt på sengene. Beskidt gulv med krummer/nødder. Brugte håndklæder på badeværelset gulvet. Dvs. lidt over 22-tiden med to meget trætte børn, skulle vi vente på manden gå igang med rengøring (skifte sengetøj, håndklæder, støvsuge, ingen gulvvask, intet tørt af i de 2 rum. Vi var alle så trætte og kunne ikke sove. Værelset skulle være lydisoleret! Men hele natten var meget forstyrrende, man kunne hørt ALT bevægelse&snak. Begge børn sov med støjreducerende hovedtelefoner! MEGET tidligt om morgenen galer høne og hane HØJT&GENTAGENDE. Hønsegården lå 2 meter uden for vores værelse! Ganske forfærdeligt. Ved udtjekning var der ingen igen i receptionen. Måtte lede længe. Talt med Hotels.com flere gange om refundering, får en voucher på DKK 500, SÅ ringe en kompensation! Har været en trofast kunde hos jer, er SÅ skuffet!!!
