Very convenient with buses to go from the airport and to the city center. The price is very good and the breakfast is complete with lots of choices.
The only problem was that we could hear people party outside quite loudly, so I wouldn't recommend to anyo e having trouble sleeping! Also, the mattresses were quite hard.

Mould/ Disappointment
Our room was compact, no blinds, no curtains at the 5ftx5ft window that overlooked a courtyard and a stairwell. We were unable to have the lights on or change in the room (this would have been classed as indecent exposure). The shower room had mold on the ceiling and tiles. We reported to reception the blinds and curtains were missing on two different occasions, 2 nights we slept without and coverage on the window. The night before we were taking an early flight reception decided to offer another room, so we moved late at night. The new room had blinds and curtains and faced a forest so no curtains needed. Least to say they declined a refund. The 2night stay cost £200+ for a mouldy shower room and room without any curtains or blinds. Needless to say they care more about money than their customers.

We stayed for a few nights and found it was lovely and big campus. We weren't told where to have breakfast and we got lost trying to find it, then we didn't get told what we could eat in terms of our coupons and we didn't get to eat the following two days after paying for it. The room was standard but good enough for staying in for sleeping, the sink was leaking, the tap was cracked and we got soaked in the rain and the radiator didn't even turn on. Was not happy but least we got them dry the old fashioned way. The nubar club was nice and cheap for food, the sharer we had was delicious and the pizza. Overall a pleasant enough stay

It was €75 per night so it was fine for what it is - a student apartment. I was on the ground floor beside the building entrance so a lot of young people congregated at night and they could be a bit loud. I wish that security came around a bit more. But overall it was fine - you get what you pay for. Excellent breakfast.

The bus takes you to the city centre in 15 minutes and cost 2€. Considering that the room costs half the price of a similar room in Dublin City centre, is definitely recommended.

The room was very spacious and was exactly as pictured online. Perfect for two people travelling together, a bus at the campus edge took us straight into town which was easy.
Funnily enough the only complaint was the water pressure was far too hard! Other than that our stay met expectations.

Price was good but trade off is without a car you need to take a bus into the city centre. Staff person on duty for check-in seemed put out and angry at all of us waiting. Line up to check in was slow. Cafeteria staff were very nice. Breakfast was included.

Clean, safe, economical stay - Recommended
Perfect for a transit stopover but I would stay here again for other reasons. Staff was polite and prepared. They sent me with a brown bag breakfast since I was going to miss service in the cafeteria the next morning - very nice touch! Rooms are college dorms so are very basic but comfortable and very clean. If you want luxury and service pay much more and stay elsewhere. It's on a college campus and so the area is transportation rich - lots of public options into town or to the airport. There is a small grocery on campus just a few minutes' walk and other shops in the area. Security of the building and of the campus area was good. The wi-fi worked great.
It's a little tricky to find but with a phone map and some preparation it's doable. Reception is at one location (the sport complex), your room will be in another building a short walk away.
Bottom line: I'd stay here again and would recommend to friends. This place is nothing fussy or fancy but is really great if you want a clean, safe place to stay.

Just what we needed for one night's stay however our room& bedding had such a terrible smell upon arriving. We opened the window all night but that hardly helped. The beds are uncomfortable & the pillow was so thin we woke up with neck pain. The college bar had great service, good food & cold beer. Price per night should not be as high for what you are getting.

Knowing i was staying in a dorm room, i wasnt expecting luxury. Although the front desk service personnel were great and the room was secure, clean and adequately provisioned, the bed was like sleeping on a skeleton! There was NO comfortable position given the springs poking through. There was a pretty good cafe on campus nearby where I enjoyed a good moderately priced meal. However, thanks to no sleep, i was able to sleep on the plane trip back to the States.

Quiet, comfortable and fairly close to the airport. Excellent continental one breakfast/lunch meal per day. Friendly and cooperative staff. Super safe, with secured buildings and rooms. Late check-in was huge help...there's security and front desk staff available 24*7.
The only disadvantage is poor access to public transportation, requires a 20 minute walk from campus to the main road. I had the staff arrange a cab for me and paid 20 Euros for a smooth and comfortable ride to the airport instead.

An excellent option for a budget travel. No complaint for its cleaness. The front desk is super friendly and helpful. Although its room is quite simple, you can almost find anything you needed on site. Another plus for this place is the free meal vouchers. Two vouchers for two guests every day, which gives you almost free breakfast and lunch. Will stay here again.

The security was very good and the campus very attractive. There was easy free parking and good (unsecured) wifi. It was disappointing that there was no television either in the room or in a common area in the building. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. The only cutlery was teaspoons, the only crockery was mugs. There were no plates, no dishes and no cooking equipment whatsoever.

Check in was at 3pm which was a bit late to be honest. We came over from the UK for a gig at Croke Park. Whilst we were aware of the check in time i feel an early check in could be possible if needed at an extra charge as late check out can be given. We waited from around 10.30 till 13.30 for our room as there was hardly anywhere local to explore. Its a bit of a trek from the main road to the campus. Anyway onto the room. The room itself was clean. However it was very basic. No television and very awkward positioning of plug sockets. The bathroom was a shocker. It wasnt spotlessly clean but it was passable. But where the hell was the bathroom light??? There was no fitting to even suggestion there was ever one in place. Nothing. No lighting zilch. This resorted in a very awkward moment where my friend pooped on the toilet with the door open because she needed light. That wasnt what i needed to hear. I just dont understand why there was no light in there. The oddest accommodation i have stayed in to be honest. Staff were friendly, the breakfast cafe menu was poor. Ok for a quick visit overnight if not going to be on the premises long. Pretty much cheap and get what you pay for. Only booked as everywhere else was practically full for the Westlife concert.

I dodn't like the kack of signage, the complicated walkways which are closed off due to industrial digging, as well as poor information given to me by the expedia booking agent who said that i could stay in the same room for two nights even though i had two seprate reservations, instead i had to pack up and check out and then wait 4 hrs for my other room.

Last night before we checked out the staff came up with a brilliant idea to test the very loud fire alarm around 9PM without any advance notice. Testing the fire alarms is an important procedure however it needs to be coordinated and timed properly! It shouldn’t be too much to ask if the accommodation office would advise guests of such inconveniences when checking in.

This was a great stay however, the hot water did not work one morning. Maybe it was too early (5:30) but it worked great the following day. It is in a college campus and there were a lot of groups. Breakfast was very good. If you’re looking for an economical place to stay, this is fantastic! It is a twenty-five minute bus ride to downtown and a five minutes walk to the the bus stop. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

Disaster- moved from twin en-suite rooms due to essential maintenance to single room dorms with shared toilet/showers. Miserable thin mattress and 1 flat pillow. Paper thin wall left it noisy all night and people starting knocking on my door from 6am thinking I was part of their entourage! Went on past 8am.

Basic student rooms, but if its a short trip its ideal. Felt like being a student again, and the campus was clean, modern and had amazing food to other. Busses ran every 5 mins at the top of the road, and only a 15 min ride into the centre. Its next to a park too which is lovely. Also had a convenient store and pub down the road. Will come again for sure.

It’s student accommodation, so it was never going to be 5 star-it’s cheap and cheerful. The rooms were clean but well used and a distinct smell of ground in gym bag didn’t help. That said, ample free car parking, breakfast included and all the staff/ students were lovely and very helpful.. if ur not super fussy it’s fine for 1 nite but as my student days are long behind me, I won’t be rushing back!

An on site coffee shop made purchasing continental breakfast easy. There was a restaurant on site for hot breakfast. We received 9.95 Euro tickets which could be used at anytime during the day at either facility. a pub with food, and the staff was efficient and helpful. Laundry facilities were affordable and easy to use. Public transportation to downtown Dublin was within walking distance, and a three day or week pass could be purchased at the convenience store. A cab to the airport was affordable, although the cab driver over charged us when we were taken to the college. Highly recommend this convenient, clean, traveler friendly \"Bed and Breakfast\".

The DCU Rooms was ideally located for our visit and subsequent flight out of Dublin. The area is fun, being a college and all. The room was comfortable, water pressure wonderful and included breakfast was great. WiFi worked for our need and parking was close to our room. Room ok, however there was no TV in the room, no TV in the communial area, No cutlery in the communial area even though this was requested, room was not serviced every day as had been suggested, toilet was dirty.
It was certainly not worth the money paid for it. The furniture in the communial area was worn. Paint work was shabby. With University starting in a few weeks I would have expected them to look in much better shape.

I had read bad reviews but gambled on this place as it was the only available and affordable alternative to a hostel. I'm glad I did. I rested comfortably - a good, clean bed, nice shower and great breakfast. Public transport to city did me well both for work and leisure. My only reservation is that you seem to have to pay extra for self-catering facilities. There's a kitchen in each flat but no utensils.

I loved how helpful and friendly the staff was. Food was wonderful as well. It's wonderful for singles as it's a dorm campus. We had twin single suites and shared a bathroom and kitchen. Makes you feel like you are back in college. Also has washer and dryer on campus. The only thing there are three campuses and we went to the wrong one.

Loved the room. We were just unlucky to be there when there were 5000 students coming to the University to play sports and etc. On top of that, they hung outside our window screaming about something ! It was 1:15am .........if they were not there, it would have been perfect!

The main reason for me to choose this location was because of the free parking and the price. Though the room was what I expected for the price, the breakfast that was included was above my expectations. Its part of campus and was great! There were a lot of loud high school students staying there while I was there, but other than that it was a great place to stay on a campus. Public transportation was near and easy, and it’s near the Botanical Gardens, which are really nice.
