Property is more dated than photos show on the website. They don’t allow you to bring food or drink to your room unless bought on site. Best part was 15 guys sitting outside in the parking lot yelling, laughing and smoking until 3am.

Also my room was so blistering hot and I couldn’t turn off the heater. Would never stay here again

It was very easy to get to from the bus/public transit.

The people were so kind at the front desk. There is a convenience store a few feet away but it closes kind of early so go get provisions there!
The bar is lovely and the beer is yummy!

The hot tub/sauna was excellent, I walked into the pool area and there was a water aerobics class occurring. You have to purchase a can for in the water, and be sure to bring your own water bottle!

I loved the room, there was a fan and a space heater along with a hot water kettle in the room.
The beds were beyond comfortable and I slept soundly!

Totally worth it to go!

Great place to stay while in Dublin and exploring close by! Clean rooms, friendly staff, great spa! We used a taxi/uber to go to and from Dublin centre and left the car at the hotel. It was super reasonable and much easier than navigating a parking spot. Great hotel with big ambiance and character.

Not bad place to stay. Has all the equipment for a short stay. Very close to bus stops so it's easy to get into city center. However, as for staying in the room, my shower hot water was not working on the 2nd day. The bath tub hot water was working, but the shower was not able to provide pressure. Unsure if flushing the toilet or something else effected this.

Stayed here recently and overall it was sound. The room was clean and tidy, beds were proper comfy so no complaints there. The pool was boss too — nice and warm, perfect for a chill before heading out.

Only downside was we couldn’t use room service because the restaurant was “too busy”, which was a bit of a let-down when you just want to stick your feet up and get fed.

Also, I messaged the hotel through Expedia before we arrived asking if we could leave our bags somewhere safe before and after check-in, just so we weren’t dragging them round all day — but never got a reply. Bit disappointing that, to be honest.

Apart from that, decent stay overall, but a little communication wouldn’t hurt!

The staff were very friendly and nice. This is a very old hotel. My bathroom was small, could only fit 1 person. The door could not close. Dirty hallway carpets. A corridor door was missing a handle. No water unless you order food. No ice machine. They say you can’t bring outside food but their restaurant is over priced and the food was not good. The pics look far better than the reality. It’s not close to anything. The convention centre is very nice. I would not stay here again if I had a choice.

Hotel was ok thanks to location (though noisy) but not worth price. May hsve once been a 4 star hotel but is outdated. Staff were excellent. The restriction of not being able to bring any drinks or food (including leftovers if you eat out away from hotel) is ridiculous, especially with grocer next door. I always keep bottle drink on stand next to me in case get thirsty.

When we first arrived, I did explain to them because of the Travel hours. I have booked an extra night and asked was a refund offered. The lady laughed at me and said I don’t think so not in a nice way at all. Secondly, going to our room was very dark and scary we were all the way in the back and lights didn’t come on till we were at our door felt unsafe. Open door to the rooms smelled like smoke the entire time we had to open our windows to get the smell out that didn’t help plus didn’t like having window opened. It was very dated place. Only one elevator working and only one restaurant available. The staff was pretty much nice and friendly if need be I would stay there again, but I would definitely need a different room. Add stated no smoking hotel. My husband had health issues so it was very difficult to stay in there Also be prepared that they don’t have normal US sockets and you’ll have to purchase adapters sockets if need be no way to charge your phone or anything like that. It was a very busy time so it seemed to be over priced for the stay.

Excellent hotel, great service, no real complaints.

I was only in Dublin for two nights and the fact that the bus stop right outside went to directly to both the city center and the airport was a major plus.

The day I checked out the hotel let me leave my bag onsite, as my flight was not until late that evening. This meant I was able to spend another full day down town without having to worry about hauling my bag around with me.

The hotel is old clearly, but also not well kept. The rooms need serious updating….its a very basic hotel.
Only one lift worked near the front desk and it was so small.
The staff was friendly, but if you are at all weird about hotels this one would be a challenge for you.

The property is great in appearance ,cleanliness ,location etc There were 4 firearms and unlike others I always respond to them. The first one was off by the time I was dressed at approximately 1-1:30. The second one again was short and was at about 2:15 now I went down to here that it was false alarm , first one someone smoking the room , 3rd time after 3 it was another story and there was discussion by staff of turning off the system . There were people leaving the hotel and many other frustrated guests. The 4 th was the final one for me after the 3rd I had packed and I was going to leave the hotel. There were 2 police at the front desk reacting to a frustrated guest who had broken a picture or framed notice. After a discussion with other guests they appeared to be concerned about how staff was handling this situation in a 200 room hotel ( fully booked) . I have travelled in 40 of the 50 states in the USA and all Provinces and Territories in my Country Canada, and all but 4 or 5 countries in Europe .
I have never a situation so badly handled by Staff, it was as if there were no safety protocols in this Hotel.

We had a terrible stay, false fire alarm going off many times during the night. Woke up the whole hotel. Customer service was horrible with no answers during this situation and no compensation for any of the guests. Many guests in lobby complaining and wanted answers. We found another hotel at 5am and checked out early. Called the hotel for a refund and emailed them, still no answers. Not sure how this is a 4 star hotel. I expected more from them. Will not recommend

This hotel is a complete disappointment and does not meet expectations at all. The building looks like an old, run-down house. At reception, three employees seemed overwhelmed and unprofessional. I arrived at 14:40 and wasn’t allowed to check in until 15:00. In the meantime, I had a club sandwich with fries for €15. Which was okay.

The room is furnished with outdated, worn, and cheap furniture. The so-called wellness area is a joke – it looks like a school swimming pool. The sauna and Turkish bath are extremely basic, the area is not clean, and the plastic loungers are impossible to relax on. Even the shower didn’t get properly warm.

Charging CHF 170 per night for this is outrageous.

Despite having reservations about hotels.com from seeing some not so great reviews. The hotel did receive our booking and all was okay. Just call up the hotel before hand to see if they have received the booking before you go.

The hotel was a great find. Only 30 minutes to airport and 30 minutes into Dublin. Lovely facilities and nice and clean. Expensive breakfast though which was nice but nothing special.

The mattress springs were also pushing through the bed. The one thing you want when staying in a hotel is cleanliness and a comfortable bed but they weren’t able to provide that. Did not like room 3132. It smelled musty, dampy n the carpet looked dirty. The sheer curtains had two long rips that looked horrible! Definitely not a 4-stars hotel by this room! Moved us to room 1104 which was cleaner n without the musty smell but the table fan was dusty n the small fridge not working. Did not like the service at The Croft Restaurant- the waitress was rude, sulky looking n lacking social skills, not checking on us, not clearing the plates n waited over 45 minutes for the bill! The worst thing was finding a candy wrapper in my salad during lunch next day! The Food Manager apologized n took it off our bill. Lots of other services n maintenance problems with this hotel n certainly not a 4-stars hotel by our experience! The pool n hot tub were nice but the shower stalls in the pool area were not working. The gym has lots of machines that were rusty but having the cleaning spray n towels handy was helpful. I appreciate some of the staff who did gave us good service n others who listened n tried to help out with my concerns, I certainly would expect nothing less especially from a 4-stars hotel, as they claim to be. I don’t think we’ll be back!

The main benefit of this property is that it’s close to the airport. They have signs saying a strict no outside food or drink which was disappointing. The rooms also do not have AC so just be prepared for that. It was nice being able to have a 3 bed room for my group.

Paid extra for a King Room. The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom (it was loose and spraying towards the ceiling) We tightened that ourselves, only to find that the tub had multiple cracks and was leaking into the floor and flooding the bathroom. We asked to change rooms, but the man they sent to give us the new keys did not offer to help move our bags and took our keys for the current room. This meant our lights went out, so we packed and moved rooms in the darkness. Our new room, which was expected to be a more standard room, had a roll-away bed in it, as well as the standsrd double bed and twin bed for the style of room. This meant we had 0 floor space. I told the front desk and they asked if I'd like to \"Just leave the hotel?\" It was 11pm and that wasnt an option, i just asked them to take the extra bed out. \"Thats just how the room is sir, we can't remove it.\" I said I understand these rooms have 2 beds, but there is an extra roll-away bed that is taking up all of the open space in the room. He said that's just how it is. When i got back up to the room, we figured out how to get the bed folded and pushed it to the corner and I called the front desk again, to have them remove the bed, to which they sent 2 men and they finally realized what the issue was and rolled it out. The following morning, after being told a manager would be available at 8am, we waited 30 minutes at check out to speak to someone, just for her to tell us she couldnt refund anything. 0/10

I chose this hotel for proximity to the Dublin airport and the pool. It was convenient for the airport…though still a 20 euro ride away. The pool was ok but they make you buy an uncomfortable swim cap to use to pool. The staff at the pool were very unfriendly.

The hotel staff at the desk were nice. Though my key card didn’t work at first so, after I very long flight I had to trudge back down to the main desk with my bags to ask for a card that worked. The carpet in the hallways is gross…very dirty. The room itself was nice enough though the refrigerator did not work. The bag/door man was very nice and helped me back to my room with my bag and made sure to key card worked. He was the best thing about the hotel.

The food at the restaurant was decent but overpriced.

We stayed for 3 nights, toiletry items called to front desk were ignored. Instead we were told to remove our do not disturb sign for housekeeping entry. The rules were; no outside drinks or food allowed in the room. The mini fridge was broken and no ice allowed. You cannot adjust your temperature due to no gage in the room. There was a sign at the pub entrance, stating that you could be refused entry do to your dress attire. They did have a beautiful pool and large gym facilities with Fitness Trainers.

There was plenty of free onsite parking which is a huge plus! It’s a bit too far to walk anywhere but taxi/uber is pretty reasonable. Also it’s closer to the airport which was nice.

There is a pool and hot tub on site. It wasn’t super hot but it was nice enough to relax after a long travel day.

We arrived early so while we waited for our room we had a great time in the onsite bar chatting with the bartender Jed.

We booked the wrong room but they were able to accommodate our request to switch and the room was great.

Highly recommended!
