This hotel catfish's people. Don't believe the photos. The property is worn with a minimum of refurbishment. The room was not clean. Yellow circular stain on a bedcover, hair on the wall in the shower, exposed pink fiberglass insulation between the air conditioner in the wall and the body of the air conditioner. Pretty sure that fibrous insulation should not be used inside an HVAC device that will inevitably blow those tiny fibers throughout the room for guests to breathe in. The air conditioner never blew cold air, it was only luke-cool and never brought the room below 75°. It was on the border of uncomfortable. It also blew a smell into the room. Toilet made you nervous everytime you flushed it. Sink took minutes to drain, pooling water in the bowl. No room service throughout the room. No coffee machine. Archaic TV with limited programming and no modern streaming or casting capabilities.

Bedsheets weren’t changed from the previous guest, hair and crumbs were covering the sheets (however the bed was made so couldn’t tell until we pulled back the blanket). Stains on bed spread and pillowcases. And that was after we had switched rooms bc the first room had a couple bugs that looked and acted suspiciously like cockroaches.

Breakfast was also incredibly disappointing. Eggs were dry and overcooked, waffle batter had waaayyy too much baking soda it was borderline inedible. Couldn’t recommend

When I arrived the staff said hello and just slid me my key fob. The hotel is pretty dated. There’s also no elevator. The staff watched me carry luggage up the stairs.
I went through and cleaned (I bring wipes) and asked if the shower could be cleaned again.
Needless to say the bed was actually comfortable and the place works if you aren’t looking for fancy.

It's advertised on Expedia that there is no pet fee but when you get to the hotel, they charge you $25/night. This, I felt like, was false advertising.

The air conditioning in the first room they gave me didn't work.

It was clear that the whole room had not been cleaned. For example, there was a layer of dust on the plastic tissue holder.

In the second room, at least the air conditioning worked. It was still obvious, the cleaning staff had not done a thorough job.

While I was glad they had washer/dryers, they charged double the amount that I had paid in any hotel I had stayed at on this trip.

The breakfast was inedible.

The staff was nice.

The room was a polished turd. Yes, the bedding was clean, the tv worked, but the a/c constantly ran, and it was LOUD. On the bright side, the a/c drowned out any other noise from the street or neighboring rooms.
The bathtub didn’t look like it had been cleaned ever. It was gross. We will not be staying here again, but I guess we got what we paid for.

I must say, I definitely got my money’s worth staying at this hotel. The internet connection is excellent, and there’s a decent desk setup suitable for remote work.

However, I need to raise a serious safety concern: the hanger on the bathroom door is extremely hazardous. I had a close call where it nearly injured my eye—it’s positioned in a way that makes it very easy to walk into. I strongly urge management to reconsider its placement or remove it entirely to avoid potential accidents. That thing is more of a weapon than a convenience. Please refer to the attached photo for reference.

Breaching ADA Laws

This particular hotel decided to inform me as I checked in that I needed to pay a pet deposit to have my service dog with me. Despite me telling them that he is a service dog with full public access and that it breaches ADA to charge these fees, they were insistent. That it doesn't matter. A dog is a dog, and the fees need to be paid.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was limping as I had been driving for a long time, and my legs were a little cramped. The front desk clerk who checked me in also informed me that if I needed a first floor room well, because I was not able to climb the stairs to get to the second room, that they would also charge me an additional fee for downstairs. Again, how is this not against the Americans with Disabilities Act? I was fine, but there are people who cannot climb stairs.

Needless to say, I will not be staying there again. And i'm going to continue reaching out to whomever I can to address these concerns as it's absolutely not appropriate.

No working TV. The sauna they show in the pictures they said hasn’t worked for a long time. The night employee said since they couldn’t get our tv working we could have a late checkout by an hour. The next morning, we called the front desk to make sure about the late checkout was still ok, and the woman at the desk said no. He was a newer employee and she said he couldn’t tell us that we could do that. The more professional thing to do would be to honor what her employee said, and speak with him later. But she did not. There were also only 3 cars in the parking lot for the whole hotel. The night before and on the morning.

I requested at least they could change the towels and the garbage when they told me they are not supplying housekeeping to overstays. Staffing shortage, apparently. They could have taken care of their customers and put off cleaning some of the rooms from the night before because on the night I requested service for there was only 12 cars in the parking lot!! Yeah, I won't be staying at this chain ever again. I travel a lot for work as well and stay at a lot of hotels. This was not a good customer service experience.

While this property looks nice from the outside. It falls extremely short on the inside. When we walked to the front desk upon arriving I waited for 10 min. I then went looking for someone. I found a room steward and asked her. She said that she would help me. I find it odd that someone tasked with cleaning rooms would also be tasked with manning the front desk. When we walked in the room it appeared clean. But smelt like cigarette smoke. Not too strong. But it was there. We were tired from a 7 hour drive. So we roughed it out and went to bed. After we walked around the room with our shoes off it was obvious the floor was not clean and dirt was sticking to our feet. During the night the lot next door kept bright lights on their parking lot on all night. The shades didn’t close and were hanging down. When we woke the next day we went to get into our car and the car next to us was vandalized. Someone had spray painted a vulgar word on their door. We took pictures and let the front desk know. When we got back to the room that night the odor was incredibly strong. When we searched for the source we found cigarette butts under the entertainment center. We were so frustrated we went downstairs and checked out and went to another hotel. The personnel at the front desk promised they’d approve a refund. However when we tried getting one through Expedia we were denied. I’d stay in my car before I stayed here again. One night was enough.

The young lady at the front desk was trying her best to make our stay possible but she could not overcome the lack of an elevator, no cart rack for transporting luggage the incorrect information concerning the pet deposit and last but definitely least the very poor condition of the rooms heating system. When we got there she told us our room was on the second floor but there was no elevator and we didn’t really want to pack all our stuff upstairs. She said she would have to contact the manager but she would go ahead and change our room to the 1st floor. When we entered the room it was about 100 degrees so we turned off the heat and turned on the AC. Then the young lady came and said the manager wanted us in a different room so we went to that one and it was just as hot as the 1st one. We turned the AC on but the dial for the thermostat was broken and just spun around. At this point we were done (we had been driving for 13 hours) and said we wanted a refund. The manager wasn’t there so we would contact Expedia to take care of it. Expedia came back and said the manager said we should have cancelled the booking according to the rules before we arrived. We had no prior knowledge of the issues that occurred. They need to fix the thermostat and fire their manager for incompetence. Oh and we don’t recommend anyone booking this hotel ever.

However we did have to wait at the front desk for 30 minutes until we were checked in with no one there. The rooms are new and clean. No amenities ~ such as coffee, or mini fridge. It’s bare bones.
Check out is at 11am, some aggressive angry woman starts pounding on your door before 10am. My kid spilled a bit of juice on the bed skirt. We tried to inform the front counter as we left but again there was no one there. They charged me $75 for the bed skit and lied and said we got it on the mattress when we slept with our own blankets and never even unmade the beds. I called twice to rectify the situation and the manager said she would call back which she never did.

Shady hotel ran by even shadier people that definitely need a nap ~ if you catch my drift.
