Clean rooms and breakfast. Elevators were dirty.
Debbie
I stay there for the pool the grand kids love it
Shaina
Very clean rooms and the pool was a lot of fun! 4 wristbands included with the room!
Rachel
We stopped here for the night as a family of 6 on a road trip. It was a great way for everyone to get some energy out after a day of driving and get some good rest
Shayla
We loved our stay here. Our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the waterpark/pool areas. Such a great place for families to gather. The pool area exceeded our expectations. We will go back. The breakfast area was busy and crowded. However, the food was good. It is not a big area. Staff had trouble keeping up with pool towels but these are small things.
Meghan
Our room was large and clean and there were plenty of amenities. The pool was wonderful and a huge hit with the kids. All of the staff was very helpful.
TIANA
I wish that the water park amenity would have been more transparent about being available for public use as well. It’s connected to another hotel for use, but the public can purchase passes as well, and so that was a bit of a bummer with the clientele. Otherwise, the room and staff were great.
Doug
Great place to stay for a traveling family! Worth every penny.
Victoria
We were in town for a sports tournament and picked this hotel because of the water park which was a huge perk. Hotel was relatively basic otherwise. Check in was slow but there were several families checking in at the same time and only one person at front desk. She was very friendly and helpful, the process was just slow. Our room didn’t get cleaned one day, even though we saw the housekeeper as we were headed out and told her we were leaving and she could go in. Breakfast area was small but breakfast had enough choices for everyone. Would stay here again, or the adjoining hotel, to have access to the water park.
Nancy
Good room, good staff.
Emily
Clean rooms, fun for kids, near restaurants and shopping.
Amanda
Experience was good. Fun pool. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good with eggs and bacon bits.

Staff was pleasant and rooms were very clean

The Filipina that check us in are so friendly and very accommodating. They have chocolates at the counter for customers to have while waiting to get check in. Water with lemon and yummy fresh bake cookies for everyone to have too. The morning breakfast was very good specially their sausage patties. The hotel has a waterpark thats connected to it and gives you free access too. It makes the stay more fun and enjoyable. The rooms are clean beds are comfortable for an hotel. The bathrooms are clean too except for the conditioner bottle that got refilled with either bodywash or shampoo. Over all its a hands down 5⭐️ and highly recommended 👌 💯

We had a great stay!!
Randa
Breakfast has gone down hill since the first time we stayed there. Cold eggs and no sausage but sausage bits. Cold oatmeal or none at all. Slow to replace empty items. Both coffee machines not working or empty.
Gina
Staff was amazing, good hot breakfast, waterpark was a huge hit with the whole family, loved the suites with a door to separate the spaces. Will definitely stay here again!
Novella
Clean, the beds were comfortable, enjoyed our one night stay. Pool was fun for kids
Clyde
This was a great stay for our family with two toddlers and two pre-teens everyone had fun in the water park, the room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.
James
Amazing stay. Great staff. Room had a separate door for the bedroom away from the living area. Pool was awesome.
Yuxin
Nice watermark for the kids. Nice staff and clean room.
Crystal
The ice machine on our floor was not working.
April
There was no towels at the pool area and the slides did not seem very sturdy. Pool area options in general was great! Hot breakfast options were ok, at biscuits and gray.
Peggy
Generous room size (2 Queen suite) for 4 adults. Plenty of room to spread out and relax at the end of the day. Staff was amazing, answered questions and even brought out more cookies when I joked that I missed them being put out earlier. 24 hour coffee/tea/cocoa in the lobby. Breakfast was simple but good (bread/bagels/muffins, cold cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs with fixings to make a \"breakfast bowl\"). Water park is just as it is in the pictures, pool and lazy river are shallow and stayed warm. Hot tub was hot. Water slide was fun, haven't been on one in years. The entire hotel was clean. Conveniently located close to freeway and restaurants.
Barbara
Really enjoyed staying at this property.
Jim
I’ve stayed here probably 3-4 times with my family during BMX races and it’s always been spot on! The water park is such a great bonus after a hot day in the sun!
Maranda
The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. My teenager loved the pool area!
Sara
We were thrilled with this hotel. It was clean, spacious, and up to date. We really enjoyed the waterpark. It was just right for a couple of hours of swimming during our one night stay.
Joshua
The hot tub was great, the water slides were fun, and the breakfast was hot and delicious. Great stay!
Stephanie
Our room was clean and spacious. Fit our group of 5 travels very comfortably. Pool was a big hit for our kiddos. Staff was very pleasant every interaction we had with them. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, I am sure it was great though, seemed to be several options to choose from. The only downside was the party with us that slept on the pull out sofa bed complained of the hall noise most of the night as our room was right off the front lobby area. Would stay again for sure.
Nicholas
The room was super clean although please keep in mind that the slide and water park is not connected to this hotel but Fairfield. You get four wristbands. Communication between both hotels is not super great but the hotel itself is nice and clean and very comfortable.
Hector
Room was clean, was are thin so you can hear people coming in and out, or when folks are talking in the hallway. Breakfast was okay-wish they would have had waffles. Not bad for the price.
Tanya
We stayed for three days. The refrigerator in the room was very loud, we couldn’t sleep the first night because of it. We reported to the front desk and informed her that we had stuff that needed to be the fridge. She laughed, which I thought was rude. The maintenance guy came and measured for a new fridge but I was never informed if it was replaced or not, which I don’t think it was because the sound was still very noticeable. Could not get the thermostat set, had to fiddle around and call the front desk for help. Still wasn’t given a clear answer on how it worked. The heat was on when the air conditioning need to be on and air on when heat needed on. Very frustrating. The tv sound was horrible. We had the tv on max volume and still couldn’t hear it. Washed clothes and the washer leaked everywhere, about slipped and fell. The dryer wasn’t available to dry my clothes due to the washer leaking. Front desk offered to dry my clothes with their dryer but kinda joked she wanted money for it. Very unprofessional. Usually have a great stay here but this time was not. I understand they are under renovation but don’t provide rooms that are not ready for guests.
Ali
We stopped just for a night with our infant son and it was perfect. We loved the layout of the king suite as it allowed us to be in the back room near the bathroom and he could sleep in the living room and be undisturbed. A/C worked great, the room was very clean, the tvs were pretty big, and the fridge worked great. Breakfast was simple but good and well attended. The staff member at breakfast was very kind. We come through this area often and are excited to use the water park when our kid gets older. We did have some noisy neighbors above us, but after calling the front desk around 11pm, it settled down. This seriously was such a pleasant stay, we will definitely be back.
Tiffany
Very nice and clean place to stay and everyone in my family really enjoyed the water park.
Tiffany
Nice pool
Rhonda
It was a very friendly environment and the staff. Everyone had a smile and was eager to help with all of my questions. My dogs came along on my trip and the staff were so excited to meet them. I will definitely be using this hotel for every visit I have to Gillette
Sulamita
Great place for kids
Krista
I wanted to love this hotel.
We picked it for the pool as we have kiddos. And they liked it just fine. It’s not the hotel’s fault that we went on a busy sports weekend. So the pool was very very busy. They told us that they bring pool towels around. They didn’t so walking back with a soaking swimsuit wasn’t cool but not the end of the world.
The website also said that they offer rollaway beds for an extra fee which cool, we needed one because rooms were scarce during that weekend which we expected. They DID NOT have rollaway beds at all. The hotel didn’t offer them. Not just they didn’t have any available; they do not offer them ever. So I asked for extra bedding because one of the kids said he’d sleep on the floor. They said “we don’t have extra bedding. They are available for the suites. But you can have this..” and gave me two flat sheets. This was not a cheap hotel. The bathroom in our room had sticky floors when we got there. Gross but with room scarcity, we had to make do. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone honestly.

Great hotel
Sarah
Clean room, quiet hotel, good breakfast. Only complaint was the water park was out of towels often and the front desk wasn’t very helpful about it. Referred us to talk to the hotel across the parking lot (Fairfield) as they are in charge of the water park.
Emily
Clean rooms, kid friendly, pet friendly, great breakfast choices, and fun water park.
Brooke
The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were more comfortable than most hotel beds I've tried before. The hot tub was nice and hot and the breakfast was an awesome bonus. It was an overall great stay! My only complaint is that there are no real do not disturb signs so housekeeping wakes you up every day even if you don't need it.
Anthony
Nice clean hotel. The pool is free if you stay, and was fun for all ages. It's worth staying at for sure.
Ramona
great service, staff friendly, love the pool and breakfast, even had comp cookies/chocolates
Kathy
Grandson enjoyed the water park. Breakfast was good. Rooms were in good condition. We were at a family gathering - so did not spend a lot of time at Garner except for swimming and sleeping.
Victor
Very enjoyable stay. Staff are friendly, the hot tub and super tubes are a great amenity, rooms were excellent, and they provide a wholesome breakfast. Will stay again.
Frannie
Clean, great breakfast and super fun pool!!
Lacey
We stay at this hotel every time we are in the area. The pool is always a fun place for the kiddos and the rooms are comfortable.
Jason
Wonderful overnight stay. The rooms were clean and had adjacent connected rooms for our family. Our kids loved the waterslides and pool which were also well maintened and clean. The breakfast had a nice variety of options, was hot and well prepared. The best hotel we stayed at on our 2 week trip.
Lacey
We always stay here. The staff is great, rooms are clean, and the pool is a blast!
Jacob
Stay was great. Our son really wanted to stay at a place with a pool and he was thrilled with the lazy river. Breakfast was better than expected too.
Colton
Overall good, but nearly every door on the 3rd floor was missing a hydraulic door stop and every door slammed all night long other wise a very great hotel for the kiddos who loved the water park
Amber
Checked in about 7pm. Everything was great till morning. Toilet clogged and was over flowing. Went to front desk at 6am and they went in the back and looked for a plunger and they never came back out. I had to leave, then came back at 8am and they said they would come up and fix it. Never came, so I had to use the hallway bathroom until I left. Pretty crappy I couldn’t use my own bathroom.
Amanda
Great place to go! The room was very nice, the front desk attendants were very friendly, and the water park was great! The hot tub is a very popular place tho! Overall great experience!
Richard
Room great staff was nice
William
After a few nights on the road and different hotels we were very happy with our last night at the Garner Hotel. The front desk lady was so kind and offered us hot cocoa and cookies! The room was spotless and breakfast was excellent with many options and delicious coffee. We plan on visiting Gillette again and will for sure stay at The Garner hotel. Have already recommended it to our children as I'm sure the grandchildren would love the pool facilities. Highly recommend.
Nisarat
Very good stay!
Sadie
Clean, easy check in. $40 for 2 dogs.
Nadia
Spacious room. Nice guy at the check in desk
Lori
Great place
Marty
Tv cables disconnected. Comforter’s underside had something smeared on it and I slept on other side (wrong side) limiting sleep. Toilet seat too low for elderly.
Thomas
Chlorine burn from pool. No towels. Very slippery floors, need rubber matting
Lori
There was a dog barking for quite awhile across the hall which was annoying. Otherwise our stay was good and I would stay here again.

Second stay in a week. Everyone was very helpful at check in. Cookies were excellent. Breakfast and coffee bar were very good. Comfortable bed and pillows. Will stay there again.
Randa
Friendly, helpful staff at check in.Clean, quiet rooms with comfortable bed. Great breakfast.
Katheryn
This was a decently priced hotel for the one night we needed to stay on our road trip. My daughter had fun in the indoor water park. There are a lot of options around for food, gas and coffee which we appreciated. It was easy to access right off the interstate and check-in/out was easy. Room was clean and we did not have any issues.
Brandy
The rooms were clean. Everyone was extremely nice. There was no coffee maker in the room, you had to go down stairs to get it. That kind of of sucked. But all in all it was a nice stay.
Shawna
Pet friendly and great breakfaat
Fernando
One of a kind!

Food was great for me - taste and fit to my diet.
Adrienne
The front desk was so amazing and kind
Shannon
Rooms were nice and waterpark was fun. A lot of kids obviously because of the waterpark so if you don’t want to see kids running around the halls and stuff maybe not for you. Parking at night is hard as the parking lot fills up fast every evening so that’s also a bit of a minus as we had to park in the auto zone next door one night but overall everything was nice and staff were amazing!
Heather
Soccer tourament
It has a great waterpark for the kids. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Roni
Great staff
Ronald
I was only there for the night, but I did use the exercise facility however the universal equipment had broken cables. My overall stay was very good.
Sarah
Clean! Love the pool area
Rusty
Clean room friendly staff
Colin
Decent. Needs a business center.
Jose
Loved the pool/waterpark. It’s free for hotel guests. 24hr coffee machine. Has a small gift shop with some food and souvenirs. Only small issue is my room had almonds on the floor lol. I don’t eat almonds
Katherine
Clean room, good location
Joe
Great place
Travis
Very nice place to stay.
Keith
Clean and quiet stay
Walt
Good but put coffee back in the room
Everything was good with only one small complaint. I'm used to having a small coffee maker in my room so you can make coffee first thing of the morning instead of having to go to the lobby or breakfast area for it. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay!!
Randall
Comfy beds, clean, friendly staff, breakfast included, 24-7 GOOD coffee and water slides. Will definitely stay here again!
Amber
Staff was so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was awesome!
Alan
Lacks convenient parking
Clean and comfortable. Only negative is the lack of nearby parking. Parking is shared with another motel and I had to find parking far away from both motels. Otherwise, the stay was great.
Nathan
Quick trip
The hotel was located in a good location. I didn't venture too far to find a place for dinner. I enjoyed the hot tub and hot breakfast.
Monte
Had good beds, clean, also had a good breakfast. Thanks!
Michael
Clean nice
Anthony
Perfect 1 bdrm suite for a family of 4!! The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly! Biggest highlight for our whole family was the big waterslides, lazy river, and hot tub!! Highly recommend staying here!

Family Road Trip
Outstanding service and wonderfully comfortable rooms. The waterpark was so much fun!

One Night Stay
Quick overnight trip to Gillette, wanted a fun hotel that had some amenities. Upon check in the front desk staff was very inviting. Other reviews mentioned an extra charge for use of the water park however ours was included so not sure if that has recently changed. Was assigned a room and upon inspection I found hair on the bed and in the bathtub. I try to be understanding however I think this is something that can easily be cleaned. I returned to the front desk and she was accommodating and provided a new room that was very clean! We where exited to use the water park, it has a lazy river, but with no inter tubes it kinda takes the fun out of it. Our tv was not working at one point and the maintenance staff was very prompt at fixing. The breakfast was ok. The fresh bean coffee was fabulous! All in all it was an ok stay. I’d recommend.
Jacqueline
The pool isnt worth the stay
The hotel poorly manages community spaces. The pool is straight up dangerous. No one monitors for capacity and large groups of kids engage in dangerous behaviors. They would use innertubes down the slides with 4or5 going down at a time. They didnt pace their slides and would plow over little kids. The pool attendance were unable to regulate the behaviors and gave permissions to dive into shallow pools. They were not lifeguards. Additionally, too many dogs that had no purpose to be there that barked all night and day and disturbed multiple guests stay. I have stayed there a few times but wint again.
