Upon pulling up to the motel, we were a little nervous. The outside looks very old, however all of the rooms that we rented have been updated and were spotless. The beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was your usual basic but was fine for what we were wanting. Definitely do not judge a book by its cover with this place.

1. Our rooms weren’t cleaned daily so washcloths were not adequate.
2. Think we were overcharged maybe even for an extra day.
3. The breakfast was the best of our experience except the only protein was cold boiled eggs. Just oatmeal that wasn’t full of sugar would have been nice.
I do believe the owner is trying to slowly fix the motel’s problems.

Aweful experience. I wanted to run! The first room smelled of smoke so they canged it. The second smelled like sonehing chemical they probably used to cover the smell of smoke. My throat and nose hurt all night, I had to sleep with both the wondow and the door opened!!! Also found a hair on the bathtub and cigarette holes in the cover. The lodging is an older, all one-story property that owners have tried to fix up, but only partially successfully. Vinyl tile floors are looking worn, stucco walls have bulge points or cracks. Bathroom is small and no real shelving. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable, tv worked well, mini-fridge and microwave were functional and coffee pot worked well. Parking very convenient, right in front of room.

The room was clean. The A/C-heater was a bit old and produced a smell every time it came on. The toilet was so low it would be perfect for a kiddo and no grab bars to help. The water pressure was terrible and required numerous flushes. The train tracks with an active train schedule throughout the night was so loud you could feel vibrations. The location was easily accessible, the staff was friendly. No amenities as its a motel.

Very disappointing experience overall. The room smelled strongly of smoke and felt musty from the moment I entered. Cleanliness was also an issue, as there were visible stains on the bed.

The biggest problem, however, was the noise. The air conditioning and cooling units were extremely loud, and the walls seemed paper-thin — I could clearly hear neighboring guests, their TV, conversations, and other noise throughout the night, making it almost impossible to sleep properly.

In addition, the general maintenance of the hotel did not meet expectations, as even facilities in the reception area were not functioning properly.

What made the experience even more frustrating was that my complaints were not addressed at all, neither by email nor by phone.

Unfortunately, this was far below the standard I expected and not an experience I would recommend.

Budget host review

The Budget Host Inn is a , single story, 60's? motor lodge that has not been extensively remodeled but is clean and appears well maintained.

Ample parking. It has a secure, modern key card entry system. Inside, it has all the appointments of any mainstream motel - fridge, microwave, hair dryer, toiletries, coffee maker. The bed was good.

Our room was quiet, but I suspect the sound proofing is 60's quality - noise neighbors would be... noisy.

The continental breakfast was average, and similar to many motels - waffle maker, muffins, cold cereal, bagels, yogurt, cream cheese, hard boiled eggs.

One negative is the WiFi. There is WIFI, but our signal was rather weak and slow. Peak usage in the evening, we could barely load web pages.

So, for a much more reasonable price, one receives basically the same features of more expensive chain motels.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst hotel experience I have ever had. The motel is sketchy and unsafe. I got charged triple the cost of a room for breaking the EXTERIOR lock on the door. When I left, the lock was not broken. From the pictures I was sent, it appears that someone tried to break into the room by breaking the lock. Very scary to think of. The owner was not helpful at all and kept blaming me even though I explained that I had a key to enter the room, so I therefore had no need to break the lock. The owner refused to check his security cameras and would not work with me at all. He was very disrespectful and rude as well. Before hanging up on me he said \"By the way, you suck.\" Very frustrating experience. On top of all that, people were arguing and yelling outside our room all night. I highly recommend staying somewhere else for your safety.

Front help desk was helpful when I asked for extra towels, even tho it took him a while to locate some clean ones (it upsets me when I book a room for 4-5 people and there are only 2 towels stocked in the rooms). I asked if my husband could check us into our room and if we can be close to him, since he was already checked in another room the night before and I wasnt going to be there until after midnight. They didn't let us and ended up putting me in a room further away from him and stated \"they thought I wasn't coming\" even tho I told them I wasn't coming until AFTER midnight. The room didn't have a smell and was clean all except the towels for dingy looking. If you were in a room on the inner side, there was not a way to park close so I had to park on the backside away from my room.
