The pool was great! The beds were old spring mattresses where you could feel the springs on the side of the bed. The water was terrible to drink (even what they put in the lobby). Go to the dispenser by the pool. The water also smelled terrible. Don't think I can get over the water and bed.
Katherine
Everything was great!

Great place to stay when you are doing a road trip absolutely love the larger fridge!!
Khara
Overall good stay. Hotel is mostly clean, staff was helpful, but some items are starting to wear. There have been elevator issues the last few times we have stayed here.
Barbara
Really enjoyed the Western look and feel of this property -- a contrast to commercial chain hotels. Enjoyed our stay.
Khara
Good stay but property is starting to show its age. Elevator broke down, fire alarm went off, and furnishings are starting to look old.
Brandy
Elevator quit working
Michael or Jessica
Clean and quiet rooms, helpful staff, pool and hot tub clean and working, ok breakfast options, no fruit
Christopher
Stayed for 5 days and breakfast was exactly the same every day. Tv kept losing connection to internet. Pool dident have towels. Room was extremly dusty. Shower curtain had a layer of algae on the bottom. And elevator stoped working durring our stay. Staff was friendly but not a super enjoyable experience.
John
Amazing breakfast display for long hours. Friendliest staff I've ever encountered at any hotel. The rooms are beautiful period and especially for the price.
Ben
This hotel was very nice. Felt basically new. We enjoyed to views of pronghorn out our windows in the morning and evening. Also the pool has a panoramic view to the south and west which was great for watching the storms roll in. The only 2 negatives were that the toiletry dispensers were empty and even though we got to breakfast 30 minutes before the listed end time they were out of many items and said they didn't have supplies to restock (gravy but no biscuits for example).
Earl
Rooms were clean but building showing signs of wear and tare. Staff was very nice and check in and out pleasant, Breakfast could be better.

This is an amazing place. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Pool very nice. Enjoyed our stay
Jackie
Great pool area, needed more towels, breakfast was standard items but tasty & stocked well. Our room was spacious and beds were comfortable. We were close to the elevator so, at times it was a little noisy. I would recommend this place and would stay there again.
Patricia
What a beautiful hotel. Our room was very comfortable and we loved that the windows could open. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio, watching the Pronghorns in the field. A storm rolled in and it was phenomenal as well as the beautiful sunset. Our only disappointment is that the breakfast wasn’t available when stated. We were traveling and needed to get on the road. Other than that we’d definitely return if we were ever in the area again.
Karen
Very clean and comfortable place!
Darryl
This place looks like it is brand new. It has the western style furnishings, but the rooms are modern. It was much less than price compared to the other nine rated hotels. I would give this place at 9.8. The only reason it is not a 10 is that it is about 1 mile Away from the interstate and there is absolutely nothing near it. But that also means it was quiet. Practice was the same old breakfast that you get at every hotel these days. Not good not bad. There was lots of water pressure. I did not like the fact that they did not have regular TV. Only Roku. So we were able to find something to watch. In the morning we can look out to the big window and see two small herds of antelope. I definitely will stay at this place again if I am passing through Gillette Wyoming.
Karen
What a wonderful place to stay!!! Clean, friendly, inexpensive, just a great experience! Will definitely stay again.
Ed
The staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean and quite spacious with lots of space to put our luggage.. Breakfast was a wonderful HOT breakfast with plenty of seating. The hotel had a pool and plenty of room to have group meetings with family. We cant say enough good about this place. If and when we come back to this area, we definately plan to stay here!!
Rachel
Need better breakfast
Jeffrey
We were only here for one night and didn't use the pool, but the room was very clean, the breakfast was good, and the desk clerk was friendly. There is an interesting exhibit of coal mining equipment across the street but in general the location is not walking-friendly and you'll need to drive to get to restaurants.
Matt
Receptionist #1 was mediocre,
Night shift elderly lady was phenomenal (slow, but great)
Morning receptionist was bitter.

We always travel to Gillette and this was the first time staying here and we were pleasantly impressed. The rooms are very spacious and the pool area was clean. We will definitely stay here again.
Luis
Clean rooms, nice staff. Good overall.
Luanne
Great breakfast
Amy
The room was spacious and cozy. However, there were a few things that caught our eye - dusty lamps & puke stains under the toilet bowl exterior. Ugh. But overall, it’s a really nice hotel in a nice location.
Laura
Staff was pleasant but could have offered to reimbursed us partial payment for the condition of the room. I would not stay there again as it was not cleaned thoroughly. Shower curtain dirty, ironing board cover dirty and could easily be replaced. Body wash dispenser didn’t work and the towel rack was too far away from the shower/tub to safely reach it.
Amanda
My only concern is the mattress was not comfortable. It definitely felt they needed replaced, there was a very significant dip where it felt worn. Otherwise the staff and accommodations were great!
April
We loved everything about this hotel and little town. 10/10. Would 100% stay again!

The 2-bedroom, 2 bath room was awesome! Very spacious and the girls loved the pool & hot tub.
Very good breakfast, bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuit & gravy, cereals, lots to choose from but it didn't have any fruit.

Was good for someone that doesn't like to travel
Kristina
The phone in my room didn't work. Two of the light bulbs were burned out in the bathroom. The body wash was completely out so I had to ask for a new bottle, and change the dispenser myself. I wasn't aware that housekeeping doesn't come by unless you request it which normally isn't an issue, however I ran out of toilet paper and had to go to the front desk to request some. The breakfast was the same every morning, which after day 3 I grew tired of. Wish they would have changed it up a bit even if it was just switching bacon and sausage every other day rather than just having the sausage as the protein option every day. Great location to the Cam-Plex if you are there for an event though! You can walk there rather than driving and trying to find parking.
Diana
Our stay was great. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked and very clean. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely recommend.
Lynn
The room was clean. N8ce breakfast.

The hair dryer didn’t work but everything else was great!

The room was amazing, but the bathtub and the shower were both dirty, we asked about having them cleaned and we were told it had to be scheduled only after we had already been checked in. The front desk clerk came to our room and sprayed cleaner on both which only made it worse. The TV didn't work, the internet wouldn't connect, the microwave would not turn off it had to be unplugged. My wife got locked out on the patio even though she had a key card. The breakfast on Sunday was sub par- they ran out of milk and didn't have many options. The staff was nice, the hotel itself was clean, and the decor was great.
Kirk
Absolutely beautiful and clean.

Really comfy stay easy to find couldn’t ask for a better stay

Breakfast good! Rooms could be dusted before arrivals, seemed like noone had used the room in a while, there was a big moth in the restroom. Big hotel, good location

After spending a terrible night at a different property, I was vigiliant to find a hotel with high ratings for cleanliness. Arbuckle Lodge did not disappoint. The room was spacious, and oh so clean. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast was pretty decent- I wish there had been some fresh fruit but other than that, it was a decent selection of the standard hotel breakfast fare. Thank you for taking pride in your facility, and having high standards for cleanliness. I highly recommend a stay at Arbuckle Lodge!
Alexandra
The hotel was clean and had a modern western decor theme. The pool was not too cold and

Brian
Great location and easy access to the interstate and convention centers. Poor cleanliness.
April
we had a small problem when we came in. We did not have a refrigerator, but they quickly remedy the problem and got us one. They were wonderful
Brian

Got stuck in the elevator for over 5 minutes. Breakfast was very disappointing.

All was good

Second time to stay here for Dusty Vaquero Days at the CamPlex. Clean. Convenient. Beautiful. Great breakfast. The elevator was wonky while we were there, but it was very minor. Before our stay, I had to call the front desk twice for different reasons. I love that I got to talk to a real person and all issues were resolved by real people.
Stetson
It was a good stay
Martha
After being stuck in the elevator after it broke with absolutely no help from anyone I would not recommended this place
Ragan
Nice and clean facility. Staff was friendly. Will stay there again.
Brad
It’s always a great place to stay in Gillette!
Lisa
Property was spotless, very well maintained, great bed, and gas station right by the property.

People were so nice and the rooms was very comfortable. We did laundry which was great for a road trip.

The chlorine in the hot tub was way too strong. I know chemicals are needed to keep it clean, but it is way too much and we could t use it again. The coffee was weak. Very weak.
Pamela
Room and amenities are comfortable. Please check the toilet in room 121. It was running off and on throughout the night.
Lenita
Everything was very good 👍
Leslie
Unique and lovely place

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly.
I was very disappointed in their breakfast though. There were 2 HS Graduations and a Softball Tournament happening over the weekend and you'd think they would have prepared better. They DID have eggs, sausage, biscuits, potatoes and some type of meat gravy but they had no fresh fruit at all (we stayed 3 nights) and ran out of yogurt. Minimal bagels, breads, pastries. Not well stocked. Tables were not kept clean.
How hard is it to clean tables and send someone to the store to pick up what foods you need until your delivery truck comes in.
We have stayed here numerous times but I'll look into other places next time.

Great stay! The family room was perfect for what we needed. Very impressed.
Mary
The water was immediately nice and hot! Room large and clean. Pool and hot tub great. Complementary breakfast always a bonus. Very friendly staff and reasonable pricing compared to the rest of Gillette. My favorite place to stay.
Kathleen M
Loved the good travels wishes from the owners!
Meryl
Front desk was great to work with
Jessie
My wife got attacked by a dog in the 3rd hallway where for some reason the cameras don’t work on the floor. Didn’t help the front desk “manager” didn’t do anything to make it right. My family choose to leave the property because we didn’t feel welcomed or safe
Debbie A
The staff was very friendly!! I think it is fairly noisy with the slamming doors. Maybe not being as close to the front check in would be quieter.
Sandy
An excellent stay, super nice staff a very clean room.
Phil
The breakfast was a nice variety and very tasty. The area
was tidy, clean, and well organized.

The TV's in the suites never connect to the internet making them useless. This is the TV's in the living room and the bedrooms. We have stayed multiple times and always the same problem does not seem there is enough signal strength that far of the hall. The breakfast is going downhill, less options and the gravy was pretty much water
Carey
Very nice place to sta
Michelle
This place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The lobby looks amazing and warm. The location wasn’t bad either. We will be staying here when we return.
Kathy
Breakfast was great! Desk clerk in evening told me they don’t see request so she said there was no downstairs rooms
Carol
Staff was very friendly.
We got stuck 1 extra night at the hotel because of a snow storm, and they were able to accommodate us and our dog with no problems.
Hotel is a little far from restaurants but they do have a small store with frozen foods you can microwave ( when stuck in hotel because of weather ) and snack foods and toiletries.
Rooms are good size, with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
Definitely would stay there again.
