The room was extremely clean and this little place has been updated. The guy worked in the office was very friendly. The price is cheap. Water pressure seem good. TV got many channels. Only a couple complaints, there’s no elevator to the upper floor and none of the soda machines seem to work.

We did have an extreme loud neighbor yelling and screaming for two hours at the TV starting at two in the morning! I ended up calling front desk and the person stopped. Staff was kind, room was clean, parking was easy, location was convenient. However between 1:30am and 2:30am cars came and went obviously they weren’t hotel guests. They would park, get out of their car walk to the corner of the building by the office and then return to their car and leave. I couldn’t see what exactly they were doing…. But they weren’t staying there. It felt like an unsafe situation. And I wouldn’t stay there again.

The area felt very unsafe. Street racing, sirens, and helicopters could be heard all night. Homeless people were camped on the side of the building. A police incident was happening outside of our hotel room in the middle of the night - I could hear incoherent hollering, and the police responding with \"put your hands up! turn around!\". There was frequently a strong smell of marijuana smoke entering our room thru the AC system. We got nearly zero sleep. I will never stay here again.

The room was serviceable with a decent size for a single person. This does have a good location for walking distance near a number of restaurants and a VONS. Cleanliness could be a little more thorough, but customer service is super accommodating.

This is a wonderful property. The owners and staff are friendly and lovely. Very convenient location. Great price! There is absolutely nothing wrong with this property whatsoever. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioner could work better, (in our room anyway). I know other reviews have complained about this. I have no complaints about noise or too much light coming through the window. If you are a light sleeper, then I guess you will not be comfortable anywhere other than your own home LOL

The room itself was clean and reasonably priced for the area. It looked to have been recently renovated. The area seemed safe enough but wasn’t as nice as other areas of Long Beach. I was there for a conference so I want looking for facilities like a pool, etc. it was about 20 minutes by foot to the conference center and there were food options along the way. I needed earplugs to sleep due to road noise but the room was comfortable otherwise.

This is a very nice basic family owned property. The staff was very friendly, the room was nice but nothing fancy. Basic amenities with a small microwave and small fridge. Bed had just a small spring platform and was a little thin but still had a good nights sleep. Parking was well lit and plentiful. No breakfast but there was fresh coffee available in the office. Just a very nice place for an affordable price. I will stay there again.

Dirty room. Found pubic hair in bathroom floor and in shower. No soap, luckily we had our own to use but it would have been nice to have a small bar to wash your hands with. We should have spent an extra $30 and stayed at a nicer hotel but we just needed to stay overnight before boarding our cruise in the morning.

However, there was no coffee pot, iron & ironing board, no hangers, no long length mirror, poor quality of soap, and the pillow gave me a stiff neck. We got a flat tire (off site) and had to get it repaired. We asked for an extension at check out, but he said he would have to charge every hour we are over 11:00am, even after explaining it was to repair a flat tire. My stress level was sent thru the roof!

The place is great especially for the price. Unlike other places that charge the same rates this place is neat and tidy. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I have been to other places for the same price and I could easily say this one is worth it. They used to have a pool back in the day but if the still did the price would be really high. Management was alright, for the most part they leave you alone unless you have people come over. They cannot use the parking lot, they must park else where. And to have company or family come over you must pay $25 per person.
During my 2 month stay, I was asked to leave once, but I was allowed to keep my belongings in my room at least for free. While I had to pay to stay the night at another hotel so I didn't get residency.
My only other complaints are:
#1. The maids are nice but they never knock or offer sheets/towels/trash bags or Toiletries...nor will they unclog your toilet..
#2. There's no weekly rate, they charge you $130 Monday to Thursday and $160 Friday to Sunday. And you can only book a room online at $110 Monday to Thursday.
#3. The vending machine only takes quarters ( I believe )
