I visited the pool every day at varying times and it was always very busy. It would have been nice if there could have been a daily adults only session. Also it surprised me that children were allowed in the sauna. But apparently that’s common in Scandinavian countries as they see taking a sauna as a family activity rather than the quiet meditative atmosphere we’re used to in the IK. All in all we really enjoyed staying in the hotel and would love to return.

Staff were fantastic, in every area. The room was clean, but I wouldn’t say well designed. Location was good, but not ideal for tourism, as quite a walk into town. Kids’ play areas were outstanding. Only real downside was the evening dining. The menu lacked imagination and tasted mass produced. Bean stew seemed like a few tins of different beans heated up in a bowl, and the schnitzel was a large hunk of breaded meat on a plate, in a thick tasteless sauce and little else. If the hotel was more central and nearer to restaurants, wouldn’t have been an issue. Breakfasts were great.

Its a great hotel. My concerns remain that yet again the wifi is unreliable. As someone who stays here every week, and use my room for work, the quality of wifi in my room is important. its sad to say that yet again as per the last 4 to 5 stays the internet is hit and miss and unuseable for business purposes. I will be reconsidering where in copenhagen i stay now.

This is a fab hotel. From the room we were allocated on the 6th floor to the service and friendliness of staff The bed was really good and the room had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We booked an executive room which gave us access to the executive lounge with complimentary tea and coffee during the day and wine and beer in the evening. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we had on a while and I would def recommend this hotel it was really well located next to an Ikea and a massive shopping centre. Walking into town and sight seeing was really good as well

Changing area too small and cramped for the number of people using the facilities. Disappointed that our request to have our room cleaned every day was ignored 3 days out of five. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Hygiene is 0/10. Hotels.com also failed to get a refund and offered just a $25 credit. I have over 100 room nights with them and their response was that Tivoli hotel refused to accept complaint. There was BLOOD on the pillows, and what was more than likely appear to be ‘bodily fluid’ on the glass door next to the bed. Absolutely disgusting.

I like the hand lotion option BUT the hand lotion dispenser was empty. Could be nice if this was checked regularly.
It is a shame that the cleaning staff does not fill up with new tea and coffee (not the first time I have experienced that).
It was very cold in the room due to the windy and freezing weather. The wind goes right through the windows - very bad isolation.
Would be nice with a guide to the air con/'heater'.

Room was clean but some things need addressing in my opinion. The toilet, sink and bathtub were blocked and would take forever to drain the water. The air con wasn't allowing us to make it cooler, the room was extremely hot. The maid entered our room even though the 'do not disturb ' sign was on the door. There is nowhere to buy a snack or a bottle of water out of hours, not even a vending machine. Pool was really nice and the sky bar restaurant sticks and sushi is a must try.

Friendly staff, interesting Tivoli Garden-themed interior design. I was thinking whether I should rate this place 4 or 5 stars, but the boring breakfast choices were my concern. We stayed for three nights, and the breakfast menu was the same every day. We knew this in advance, but for a higher-tier hotel in the ARP Hansen Hotel Group, it is a bit disappointing. Except for the breakfasts, everything else was great.

I didn’t appreciate what a great hotel this would be at the time of booking it. Yes, it’s name is synonymous with Tivoli Gardens which you can walk to in under 10 minutes, and yes, I was happy that they had a pool but I wasn’t prepared for how good this hotel really is. Checking in was easy. We had a room on the 10th floor which meant we had views. We ordered room service which came quickly and the food was tasty fresh and hot. We walked around the area easily and getting an uber meant we waited one minute! The whole ambiance of the hotel showed it was popular and organised. We ate at Sticks and Sushi on the top floor (see separate review) and what a bonus it was having such a good brand of restaurant in the hotel. Didn’t have breakfast as it wasn’t part of our package, but I’m guessing it’s as high quality as the rest of the hotel. I did use the pool and sauna and it was very relaxing. Families to use these facilities from 10.30 so it was busy, but it wasn’t unbearable. We asked for a late check out and I was happy to pay the very reasonable fee for an extra 2 hours (an extra hour is free) so we left by 3pm. This enabled us to go out walking, go for lunch and still come back to our room to use the facilities. It was a very positive experience and I would love to come back. Quick word about the room; fabulous!

Overall, everything was very good. The only issues were that there was no access to the pool due to renovation, which we were not informed about before arriving at the hotel, and that the shower could not be set to a stable temperature as it would adjust itself and suddenly become extremely hot.
Other than that, the stay was really good. We came because of a birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of champagne and flags in the room. The service was excellent, and the staff were very kind and attentive
