I was there for a wedding, the wedding was beautiful. Didn’t care for the delays. Didn’t care for not being discounted for parking since we were there for the wedding. All in all a great place to stay the pool was nice. The customers were friendly and we ended up having a good time despite of the things that we kinda didn’t care for. I believe you will enjoy your stay.

My experience was average. The hotel itself has a beautiful structure and is conveniently located near the airport, which made travel very easy. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated how respectful and professional staff were in addressing me. The bellman was also very helpful with transporting our luggage to and from the room and car. Additionally, the hotel offers on-site restaurants and bars, which was a nice convenience. However, there were several issues that impacted my stay. During the booking process, it was stated that self-parking was available on the premises. Based on that, I expected a more standard or reasonable rate, but upon arrival, I was informed that parking was $66 per day, with valet at $75 per day. This was extremely expensive and not clearly communicated upfront. The listing also mentioned breakfast, but it did not clearly state that it was not included, which was misleading. I requested housekeeping daily during my five-day stay, but service was only provided once. I also requested fresh towels and washcloths each day, which were not consistently delivered. There were also some maintenance concerns. The mini fridge in our room was broken upon arrival, though to their credit, maintenance did replace it after we reported the issue. One of the more disappointing experiences involved an interaction at the front desk. My partner attempted to get assistance with a key card issue, but staff refused to help him because I was not present.

The room was warm when we arrived and the thermostat was at 60 degrees. It gradually cooled during the night but the a/c was obviously not working. The outlets on the right bed night stand did not work. And the container of bath soap was empty, so I used the hand soap from the vanity. The room was clean and nice. The shuttle to LAX was excellent and the drivers were extremely helpful. I’ll still stay at Sheraton Gateway again but I hope they do better on my next stay.

Hotel does not have microwave in rooms, there is one per floor in the room with the ice machine. While using the microwave, security came harassing my husband, falsely accusing him of urinating in the room. In a room where my husband stepped one foot inside to hold a plate for me. When the security confirmed there was nothing in the room and that it was clean, my husband wanted an apology. No apology was given, instead he has threatened. The security said he was given a discretion that there was black man in the hallway. Will never stay in this hotel again where my husband can’t even be in the hallway without security harassing him for being African American.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any issues. The breakfast was excellent and very satisfying. The shuttle service to the airport was extremely convenient and made travel so easy. I truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

The Fridge was running hot the TV was not working and at checkout the person at the front desk didnt check me out and didnt want to give me my bill . He keep saying i get it later . I am used to check out and get a print out of my stay . I feel like this feels like they going to put anything they want on the bill . Why not check out a guest and give them the final bill . At this point i dont know if he really checked me out or what he did . I am not happy about that . I feel like if your guest comes to the desk at 3:00 am to check out they should check me out and give me a closed bill

Room was big and clean, left tip for housekeeping with a note asking for more creamer for coffee and got none. The best stocked shop for snacks was their market that didn’t open till 10pm. Menu at bar was mediocre at best and tasted about the same but still $$. Hot tub was very sandy.
Shuttle was convenient. Best part was room it’s self

I arrived to the hotel and there was a very long line for check in, as there were only two to one person working. I waited an hour in line just to be told they ran out of rooms. They did no attempt to try to accommodate me I had to look for another hotel when this one was booked days in advanced.

Very nice hotel especially for the price. Beds are comfortable, showers are pleasant because of the great water pressure. The restaurant was very quick and tasty, the pool area is nice and relaxing, and the shuttle to the airport was quick and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel. Very nice and spacious room, clean, with nicely decorated bathroom. Staff very friendly but due to a young event on the common areas (such as lobby) were very busy and noisy. I’m sure there could be engineering methods installed to absorb some of the noise. The attendees were not excessively noisy, it’s just general noise that travels. It was only in common areas, not in room. Didn’t use the pool or eat at hotel. Staff very friendly. Used car park behind hotel which was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

The property, restaurant, and room were definitely clean. The customer service staff at check-in were friendly, and the bartenders were also welcoming.

However, I was very confused about the room service situation. Someone knocked on my door at 8:45 a.m. I ignored it, and thankfully I had the top latch locked because they attempted to enter the room. Then again at 10:45 a.m., they knocked and tried to enter while I was in the shower. I told them I didn’t need anything. That felt excessive and intrusive, especially so early in the morning.

The worst part of my stay was the shuttle driver. This was my first time ever using a hotel shuttle to get to the airport. It was 4:45 a.m., and I was half asleep. The driver didn’t greet me or the other two passengers who were waiting. A little later, a family boarded and he greeted them with a smile and asked, “What terminal are you headed to?”

I thought that was odd because he never asked me, and I assumed the shuttle would stop at every terminal. Then another passenger boarded and again he asked them what terminal they were going to. The driver skipped Terminal 1, which was my stop, and instead stopped at Terminal 2.

I asked him why he didn’t stop at Terminal 1, and he immediately became defensive and rude. He told me with an attitude, “When you get on the bus, you’re supposed to tell me.” As I was getting off, I said, “Then why did you ask the last two people that got on but never asked the first five passengers? Now I have to walk

I stayed for 4 days, and this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

First of all, all the towels had an unpleasant smell.
Second, the bedsheets were not changed daily they were only made up, and we had to sleep on stained sheets.
Third, the parking situation was completely unreasonable. They charge $75 per night with no real alternative, except for an outdoor parking lot behind the hotel where you have to pay $24 every time you enter and exit even multiple times a day. This makes no sense. With such high fees, they should provide better parking options for their guests.

In some areas of the hotel, you can’t even find staff to ask a simple question.
One night, they closed the outdoor parking entrance, and I was forced to walk in the rain with my baby all the way to the main entrance, which caused my child to catch a cold.

Also, the Expedia rating for this hotel is misleading, you can check other sources and see the difference.

Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I do not recommend this hotel at all.

We had an overnight layover and stayed at the Sheraton Gateway LAX which is very close to LAX. Please We got the shuttle right away, checked in quickly, had a wonderful shower then slept in a very nice bed. The next morning we got the shuttle quickly and were at the airport in no time. It was just what we needed.

The hotel itself was excellent, clean, comfortable. The rooms were great, amenities top-notch, and my stay overall was really enjoyable.

However, the check-in experience was horrible. There was a massive line that took me almost 45 minutes, and nobody informed me that it was specifically for guests with flight cancellation vouchers. There were supposed to be two separate lines, and if staff had just communicated this, it would have saved a lot of frustration.

I hope the hotel improves this communication at check-in, because the property and service inside are fantastic
