We had a beautiful room with an ocean view and small patio. Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay, but we did have a few issues.

Astro turf lawn in front of patio was the bathroom for all the dogs staying at hotel so lots of urine, but dog owners were great about picking up dog poop.

Hotel wifi did not work in our room. We only got one bar,so we never could connect our devices. We asked two front staff for help and they promised to talk with maintenance, but neither staff followed up with us. The front office staff left and closed the office at 7:00 each day. Staff stayed in the back office during the day and were not available when guests went to the lobby.

Our room didn’t have hot water for shower our first and last day.

Overall, we had a really nice stay and would return. The fire pits and hot tubs were great, and we loved the board games and local restaurant menu binder in the lobby. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the WiFi worked well since we had no cell service. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and free parking was a plus.

The only things that would have made it better would be offering coffee earlier than 8am and having more variety for the continental breakfast. It was just coffee, tea, and a tasty loaf of bread, which was good, but I expected a few more options. Still, overall a very nice stay. Overall, we had a really nice stay and would return. both hot tubs were clean and enjoyable, a little chilly because it was under a pergola. the kids enjoyed the complimentary snacks in the lobby and the hot chocolate. Tea and coffee were also provided. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and cozy.

However, the room needed some maintenance. the towel rack was not secured and fell on my husband’s foot, which led to some bleeding. the lock on the room door was broken and would not lock. We told the front desk and they sent someone to fix this the same day but we didnt feel comfortable leaving our laptops and other valuables in the room in the meantime. There is no A/C in the room, only heating.

The only negative was that we had to request room cleaning one day in advance. We felt bad for cleaning personnel because of the amount of trash left. There were also no accessible trash cans so we could get rid of trash ourselves.

The view was absolutely amazing! The ocean view suite, was very dated, the couch was dirty as were the fans, table and chairs. The bed was comfortable and again the view was exquisite but the room needs to be updated. The service was ok until we received a call 2 hours and 45 minutes after we left our keys in the drop key dish telling us we had overstayed the 11am checkout. There was a young woman standing near the dish when dropped our keys. We were told maybe another guest took them and not to worry, they expire at 11 am. Wait, what? Not a great end to the trip.

Great location! Expedia says \"Breakfast included\", but this is not so. Just some bread and coffee from a local bakery. It was good, but not breakfast. Other than that, a nice place. They even gave us a free room upgrade with an ocean view. We did appreciate that!

The room was clean but the furnishings were a little tired looking, our reservation said the suite had 2 kings and 2 queens. It did not. It had 2 rooms one with a queen and a sofa that may or may not have had a pull out bed, and a separate bedroom with a king. The reservation said we had a courtyard view, that didn't really happen either. We didn't spend a ton of time in our room so we managed, but were a little disappointed. The first night there the hair drier tripped a circuit breaker and turned off the power in both bathrooms, the second night there our TV remote stopped working and the tv had to be repaired. Staff was nice and helpful and gave us good dining recommendations. Coffee and pastries were available Saturday morning, but not Sunday for some reason. Paper napkins would be a nice addition to the morning snack if they offer it again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels were provided, and toiletries were nice. It was nice to have a large closet with several racks for putting luggage on. Unfortunately, the closet didn’t have a light inside, so that made it a little challenging at times. There was not a fireplace in the room, but we were right next to the lobby that had a fireplace and was cozy with little snacks and games. Although the suite worked fine for our purposes, it did not match the description as one of the bedrooms was open to the living room.

We loved the welcoming, friendly staff—June was especially amazing and so helpful, sharing lots of great information about the Cambria Christmas Market. The lobby was absolutely adorable, and we were thrilled with the upgrade to an ocean-view room. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and inviting. The only minor issue we experienced was with the sliding door, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

Room 300 is our favorite spot with a great patio overlooking Moonstone Beach. However, the room could use a couple of safety improvements. First, a rail or bar or grip of some kind to help older guests up/down the two big steps to/from the bathroom. And, in that room, a chair or bench next to the shower. There’s plenty of space. That’s it! Thanks for a great weekend!

We had two rooms on the front of the hotel. We could hear the ocean all night and it was so soothing. Bedding comfortable. Very nice bathroom - I liked that the mirror and vanity were separate from the bathtub/shower and toilet.

Very nice room with ocean views. The real problem was the keys to the rooms are very unreliable. They never work on the first try, and sometimes it takes several tries or it doesn't work at all. Because there is no one there in the evenings, it can be a real problem if you are you trying to get in after hours.

Location is great with ocean view from select rooms. Easy access to surrounding beach areas. Nice (unrelated) restaurant next-door. Room was good size but access to staff was very limited. TV didn't work and option to text for assistance didn't help due to limited wifi. Unfortunately first floor beach view room upgrade was blocked by cars parked on the road -- But that's a learning step at our end. Would have loved coffee in the lobby available before 9 AM. Be prepared to find a coffee shop for breakfast. Great little town.

Pros: Cross from Moonstone Beach, room and lobby clean.
Cons: no AC- room was 80 degrees when we checked in and there’s no way to cool it down other than to open the windows. Once open you hear all the noise from the restaurant next door as well as the road. Difficult to sleep with so much noise. Another con is that there is no staff working overnight. So, if there was an emergency, there’s no one there to help. That was concerning to me because I was traveling with an elderly person and a child. Front door was supposed to be locked after 8pm because there was no one working at the hotel, but the door was not locked. Seems like a safety issue.

Probably would not stay here again, mostly related to the safety concerns as well the room temperature issue.

The room was very large and spacious, updated and well kept. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Our room window was facing the parking lot of the restaurant parking lot so I did not want to sleep with the windows open so it did get very warm at night. They don’t have AC in the room (or I just never found the thermostat) I requested a fan which they gave me, it helped a lot but it was quite dirty and dusty. No big deal. The jacuzzi was nice and we had it to ourselves. This location is beautiful, across the street from the wooden walking path.

From the outside, this hotel looks charming—clean lines, fire pits, well-lit signage. The manager was funny and kind upon check-in, so no complaints there. But do not be fooled. The moment I opened the door to Room 217, I was hit with a stale, musty funk that made me recoil. Then I saw the carpet. Covered in questionable stains (likely from animals or the poor decisions of previous occupants, based on the smell and stain), it gave me a full-body shiver. I knew immediately: shoes would remain on the entire stay!!
The interior was dated and depressing. That smell? It wasn’t just in the air—it clung to your clothes, your hair, your sinuses, your luggage. I left smelling like a forgotten pile of wet laundry in an abandoned basement. We bought a can of Febreeze – there wasn’t enough to quell the odor.
As if that weren’t enough, there’s a restaurant next door that receives deliveries early in the morning. Great if you want to be woken up early while on vacation – I, however, did not. And if you're lucky enough to stay on a Thursday night, you’ll be treated to the clanging symphony of trash trucks – not 1, but 2, the next morning, emptying dumpsters right outside your back door. Also, the highway runs directly behind the hotel, so forget about peaceful sleep—unless you find comfort in the constant hum of traffic. Delightful.
Bottom line: This place is a sensory assault of the worst kind. Looks decent on the outside, but it was so gross. I do not recommend.

We visit Cambria every year, and this year was the first year we stayed at the Cambria Landing Inn & Suites.

Starting with the good, having the patio was amazing. Being able to sit in a private area and enjoy Moonstone Beach was wonderful. The bed was also very comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet. Outside of a passing car, the ocean was all we heard all night, which is rare. Lastly, the staff was attentive and ensured our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They also made sure to accommodate a request I made in the notes of my booking 4 months before. I appreciated that immensely.

For the not-so-good. The property is dated and in slight disrepair. Although staff promptly addressed a couple of repair issues in our room, the overall experience would have been significantly improved in a more up-to-date property. The hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. I am sure that they could charge more per night in those rooms if they were refreshed. Last, there is no breakfast offered, and coffee service does not start until 8 am, which is very late for us.

All in all, it was a positive experience. Next year, we will choose a different hotel on Moonstone, but I am glad we tried this one!

The hotel is in a beautiful location on Moonstone Beach Drive. We had a great view of the ocean from our oceanfront room. The hotel could use some upgrades. The room we stayed in wasn’t very clean. The best food option along Moonstone Beach Drive is The Sea Chest Inn. All your other best options are in town.

The check in was not untill 4:00 and we were told that therecwould not be anyone at the front desk after 6:00PM, so the lobby would be locked to those with out a key card. We loved our stay and will be coming back, but if you will be ariving late this could effect you.

I loved it here! Right across the street from the ocean. We left the windows open and we could hear the ocean all night. Not a lot of traffic in that area at night so all you could hear was the waves. Great amenities too and the area has some amazing restaurants within a mile.

Friendly and accommodating staff during the day but at night after 6pm there’s no one at the front desk. You have to walk to a neighboring hotel if there’s anything you need.

The shower head could use an upgrade and the room got kind of stuffy during the night. We did like how much parking was available in the parking lot. A+!

Other than that we had a very nice stay.
We’ll stay again in the future.

Hotel was good. Rooms fireplace did not work. Tried for 30 minutes to get it to work. Changed out battery on remote and still no luck. Informed front counter staff as I checked out. They said they would inform maintenance. Would have preferred a discounted rate for the inconvenience.
