The beds were comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great! The bathroom door was broken and the knob was hanging off so it wasn’t able to be closed/ locked. The walls are extremely thin, heard crying babies on both sides of the room.

me and my friend went on a trip together and this hotel was really helpful, if you don’t have a credit card you can use debit and you don’t need to be 21 to check in which it’s cool because me and my friend actually love that we got to have a place to stay while also having fun exploring the city!!

The hotel itself was great. Excellent location, met our needs as a place to stay close to the airport. Was able to return the rental car and walk back to the hotel. Beautiful rooftop, convenient restaurant & airport shuttle.
However, extremely odd rooms with deceiving windows are super disconcerting. Also, for a hotel of this quality, with a fairly expensive restaurant, we were expecting a quality breakfast. It was a standard continental hotel breakfast, same quality as any other location.

The hotel is good for a quick in-and-out for passengers who want to stay less than a day. If you want to stay longer this is not a hotel you are looking for. The hotel doesn't have parking. It has access to the nearby Airport parking, which is not convenient at all.

More so, there is no room service or housekeeping. We came back to our city tour, and our rooms ( 2 of them) were not cleaned or set up. We had to argue for new towels and emptying out the trash can.

I've had many problems with this hotel shuttle from LAX. I waited over an hour in the correct hotel pickup location for a shuttle that never came. As I was waiting, I called the front desk staff trying to get information and help but sadly, the staff doesn't answer the phone. I ended up having to take another more reliable hotel shuttle and walking a long distance with heavy luggage .

Simon at check in was great, very helpful. The room was ok but did not like the fact that there was no window. The shower was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. There is not much around the hotel but we only stayed as we’re flying out the next day. Nice roof top pool.

This hotel tried to use a lot of fancy IT systems, but most of them doesn’t worked. First, when we check in, the system was down. Second, the parking was so mess up, they don’t own the parking and the parking IT system doesn’t communicate well with the hotel, so many technical difficulties enter and exit, need repeated help from agent. Third, AI is answering the phone, hard to reach human for difficult questions. The drop off location is pretty bad, it is like a tiny alley way….. Hyatt should improve this place.

This property was a surprise for me. I was there with my family and we all liked the place. It was clean , service, and user friendly. The staff was friendly, helpful, and among the best I have seen in many years. Ill go back to that hotel in a heart. Overall, a pleasant surprise!

Impossible to have breakfast, trades empty people like if they were not seen food in years. Also full plates were taking to the rooms, it is a sign not to do.
Waiting for the shuttle more than 45 min.
I called many times and nobody answered.

They need to fix the parking situation. They had issues because valet was suppose to charge 48 dollars a night but the parking garage made us pay every time we left. That was super dysfunctional and disappointing. Other than that hotel was cool, the beacon staff is nice and the food is really amazing.

I didn't like my stay at Hyatt Place in room 1214, the AC wasn't cold and I was itching on their linens. I called their internal room operator to leave a message on voicemail but they didn't take any action and I don't know if they got my message. I requested an electric kettle on May 28 but nothing happened. I paid properly. I hope the next time someone books there at Hyatt Place LAX 5959 W. Century Blvd Los Angeles California they will give the guests what they request. I just liked their breakfast buffet and the staff & services at the bar & restaurant. The shuttle bus and the driver are nice. But the room & services are very poor.

The hotel was pretty nice with the price and area it’s in. The room was nice but the big con is there shower pressure hits you like a pressure washer in the worst way possible and they have all the showers like that. The shower was more harsh than relaxing. Besides that parking and the breakfast was good!:)

Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. We booked 2 rooms both had issues with the showers. The knob would not turn to cold, in one room we somewhat fixed it and in the other room we could not shower due to how hot the water was. I brought along 2 little ones and I had to sponge bath them in the sink . We called maintenance and they did a temporary fix but the shower was leaking water. Room thermostat were locked at 70 degrees Fahrenheit that was also very annoying. Breakfast was great it overall it was clean and looked so beautiful but very inconvenient. Not a place to stay with a family.

Conveniently located near LAX, the sound of planes never disturbed us. A beautiful view of them landing was our night time entertainment. Super easy to get to the airport as the buses l leave every 30 minutes.

The room was large and comfortable providing nightstands as well as a desk with enough plugs for charging our multiple devides.

We'd requested a room which included raised toilets and sufficient grab bars in the shower and we were easily able to use the facilities.

This is an older hotel in an uninteresting part of town. It is great to use when you have an early flight from LAX because it is clean, reasonably quiet, and it has a good shuttle, but it probably wouldn't be your best choice for a basic visit to LA.

I ussually stay at Hyatt Place hotels but the one in los Angeles really dessapoint me, I requested an early check in and was refused to get it and with almost another additional charge as much as the cost of the stay. I left my luggage to come in later and was given a room with a broken air conditioner. I requested another room and the refuse as they say that the engineer was on the way, waited and waited almost at midnight and call the front desk, no one answered, I had to run down and complaint that the man did not showed up, finally they gave me another room but, I would not go thru this again at this Hotel, bad experience and bad customer service.

This was a brilliant overnight for us. We had an early flight into LAX caught the shuttle to hotel at 10.30am hoping to leave bags secure until check in at 4.00p. The staff found a room immediately for us. Lovely outside courtyard. Spotless quiet room. 5 elevators , no waiting. Full cooked breakfast included. Left the LAX Hilton for dead.

I am super happy I chose to stay at the Hyatt Place for an overnight stay in LA. I had some Key cash available through Expedia, so ultimately selected this hotel due to its close proximity to LAX. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I also noticed the hotel must have stepped up its airport shuttle service as I had no trouble catching a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The shuttle also departed promptly at 6am, the next morning for LAX. Do yourself a favor and arrive at least 5-10 minutes earlier than your scheduled departure time outside of the hotel lobby. Last notes - the included breakfast was great, beds were comfy and staff were friendly.

Entrance to the main Lobby for check in was awful. We drove around three times before figuring out by asking others that you cannot enter the lobby from the street. It is blocked off and you must drive into a paid parking lot and walk all your luggage over to
the lobby for checking in.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was incredibly relaxing. However, the breakfast was a bit disappointing. The sausage looked undercooked, so we weren’t able to enjoy it. We hope this can be improved, as everything else about the stay was wonderful.

The shuttle drop off location was very poorly, lit and little to no signage to direct guest to the lobby and then an additional to that explain explaining to guest that the lobby is not on the lower level, but it’s on the first level and that was a little confusing to figure out

The complementary bus service ran every 30 minutes but we waited over an hour to get into the bus. The place was clean and big. A lot of stuff woke us up in the morning going on outside. It worked for 1 night since we missed our plane but probably wouldn’t do it again.

I've never had a worse experience.1.) walked into heavily perfumed lobby that did not smell nice and gave me an instant head ache 2.) person cking me in was very slow like he hadn't slept in days. Not friendly at all. 3.) all bedding and towels smelled repulsive. I didn't ask for another rm because I figured they would all smell the same for not being bleach/sanitized, lack of/or cheap laundry soap. I bought a can of Lysol and sprayed down everything. 4.) shower head is terrible. Doesn't adjust at all, just painful stringing hard force of water that left me red. 5.) sticky drink ring on nightstand. So everything is probably not wiped down. 6.) ck out guy was not friendly and didn't ask me how my stay was or thank me for using their hotel.. 7.) I have not received my $200 deposit back yet. 8.) $7..13 charge on my cc. I've had to email billing dept to see if they have fraudulently tried to charge me for food or drink that I did not use. THE ABSOLUTE WORST. EXPERIENCE IN A HOTEL.

So the room was clean. The staff was nice and accommodating and friendly. House keeping does come in much so if you need something just call the front desk. The gym was better than expected. The pool was nice. And the tub was actually hot! The breakfast is good but I think they should offer biscuits and gravy. But overall it was great. And convenient to the car rental and airport. I'd stay there again.

We booked the stay for 3 days but ended up leaving after the first night because of the condition of the room. It smelled heavily of marijuana, the bath/shower did not work properly, the fridge rattled loudly all night, and the room didn’t even have proper ceiling lights. Overall it felt poorly maintained and not as advertised. I do appreciate that management acknowledged the issues and issued a full refund, but unfortunately the stay itself was disappointing enough that we couldn’t continue the reservation.
