The shuttle dispatch was extremely rude. The elevator was broken and we got a room up in the 3rd floor. Had to haul all of our luggage two floors up and it was heavy and hard. The room was good size but super dirty. The carpet was so dirty the shoes would stick to it when we walk. The bathroom smelled like urine and semen and the towels were dirty.

Everything was fabulous - staff, hotel, shuttle driver. Would have received 5 stars but the shuttle that needed to pick us up from the airport part was a tad confusing. You had to call the shuttle to be picked up. It was a dispatch that takes the call but never said what shuttle to look for. We got on Sonesta shuttle but not Sonesta Select. We were brought to the wrong Sonesta. So at 11 PM we were exhausted, couldn’t get back to the airport or brought to the correct Sonesta by the Sonesta shuttle we were on. Had to call an Uber to be brought to the correct hotel. My suggestion is that your dispatch says to watch for the shuttle marked Sonesta Select

The room was beautiful. However, once I got there, the three main things why I booked a hotel was not offered. This was very concerning coming from the state of Nebraska, especially when I called numerous of times with the same three questions to make sure I wanted to keep this reservation to match my needs of traveling. The front desk was able to meet one out of the three needs and I believe that was because the elevator was broke and due to me only stand one night. Once again, the room was fantastic which makes me want to book again because I have zero issues with the room. I’m more concerned of the lack of customer service. You can tell they was towards the end of the shift because once staff change, I have phenomenal customer service. First impressions speaks , first impression of customer service horrible. First impression of the room, Lovely. I wanted to leave due to the customer service however once again from Nebraska and only stay at one night. It was best that I just continue with my booking that was fully paid before checking in compared to trying to overly stress to book another hotel. I give credit or credit is due, which is another reason why I want to highlight that the room itself was lovely, fantastic, felt welcoming, , felt like home.

Room and bed very comfortable - unfortunately all elevators were out of operation. Staff said the elevators were scheduled for upgrade - date to be determined. Thankfully we were early and were able to secure a lower level room. Felt for anyone who had to lug luggage up to the 4th floor.

The only complaint I have is that the elevator was not functioning at all because they said some upgrades were being made I would have really appreciated a heads up the good news was that they offered help bring my suitcases to my room bad news I was on my own bringing them back down on my own.

I was hoping for a relaxing stay during my busy trip, but the staff seemed disinterested and were short and snippy, the elevator was broken for the entire stay, the coffee machine was broken, parking had to be paid to a third party, there was no ice on our floor. Luckily we're places nearby that helped overcome the shortcomings. The only good part was the location. Don't bother...

The property is a little run down. Neither elevator was working during my visit, and I was placed on the top floor, so that wasn’t ideal. The staff did offer to help me carry my luggage though, so big thank you to them!

Rooms definitely are in need of an update. Few stains on the curtains, and when I moved a side table it was sticky on the underside.

I would probably stay at another hotel next time, but it wasn’t terrible for the price.

We rejected the original room booked for us. The room had smoke, pet and odd cooking odors. Almost directly across the hall, there was loud arguing going on.

We requested another room. We were very satisfied with it.

Great guy at the front desk. friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and “on the ball.” Give him a raise!

The hotel was decent definitely dated and old. I asked the two front desk guys were confused about how to get a shuttle to the airport. I had ordered an Uber and it kept telling me I needed to go to the Courtyard Marriott front entrance and they did not come to this hotel. The both guys I asked said I should be fine. After fussing with Uber finally figured out that the hotel used to be Courtyard Marriott and that is how Uber still has it listed!!! Ended up losing $$ on cancellation of ride and finally got a Taxi Van with help of front desk guy 35 minutes later. The hotel is dated and rooms need some TLC.

Okay so this hotel is cheap for the area and I should have just spent an extra $50 to stay somewhere that wasn't kinda gross.
In the room- extremely dated restroom, towels had hairs stuck to them, couldnt find remote.
Outside of room-elevator broken (staff offered to help carry our luggage but I initially declined and once I realized it was too much for me to carry to the 3rd floor and went back they were busy with other customers so I just made multiple trips) carpets looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, stair trailing falling apart.
The shuttle was on time and helpful.
Overall I think this hotel should be a 2 star, not the 3 indicated when booking.

Just a quick overnight stay to catch a flight. Bed was comfortable and room pleasant. Bathroom sick drained very very slow. Reasturant was already closed when we arrived after 6:00pm. We had to walk a few blocks to find fast food dinner. Somewhat disappointing. But over all not a bad stay. They could replace the hallway carpets. Makes the place look old.

Parking is not included, it $35/day and when you ask staff about it they are rude. Breakfast is not included although the website says otherwise and all they have is clod cereal or bagels. I didn’t care to much for the breakfast to paying for parking but the staff was beyond rude. Never again staying here. The bed was comfortable.

We stayed here mostly out of the closeness to the airport. Which was very helpful. And also the shuttle service that the hotel offers. After finding out there was an In-n-Out right across the street, that made it even better.
But what really was the best part about our stay was a great guy named Ali. He happily checked us in at the front desk with such hospitality. Respectfully disclosed that the elevator was out of order on our side of the hotel- he then personally assisted us with taking our big bags up the stairs to our hotel door. I cannot thank this man enough for the kindness he showed while me & my wife were on our anniversary trip. Ali, thank you for all the help! Bless you, brethren.

We had an overall great stay. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. They gave us a room on the first floor, which made it much easier for my grandma to get around since she uses a wheelchair. The rooms were nice and spacious, and overall it felt worth the stay. One small inconvenience was that the shower wasn’t the cleanest, and the bathroom mirrors had some water stains. However, it was very minimal and didn’t take away from the overall positive experience.

Returning customer. My first stay was great, which is why I booked again for a family visit. This time, the stay was just okay. The morning staff was not very friendly, and although guests are asked to notify the front desk for housekeeping, it felt uncomfortable to ask for help. I didn’t expect to feel more comfortable at home than at a hotel. Customer service could definitely be improved.

To get the airport shuttle you have to call and that information was not given when booking the hotel. They do not accept cash for anything not even the Starbucks coffee. There was no continental breakfast, and no restaurant on site which is listed for this hotel.

The thing that lets this hotel down is the hallway carpets which are filthy!

Outdoor pool is well maintained.

There is no car and the breakfast and Starbucks are closed around 10 weekdays 11 at the weekend i believe. This reall would do better if it was open throughout the day.

This Sonesta you have to pay for parking. Nothing is really around here. Very corporate/ warehouse vibes equals dry and boring area. No view off the balcony. Not a vacation spot if you are traveling from out of town. Won’t be back. Ingrid from the front desk was professional and courteous.

Alli at the desk in the evening was great, he always had a smile on his face and was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and for the most part the room was quiet. The carpet was stained throughout the hallways, there were stains on the carpet in our room, there were stains on the furniture in the room. We stayed five nights and never had our towels or coffee replenished. Had to place the trash outside the door to get it picked up. There was graffiti scratched into the doors of the elevator and one of the Exit Doors was broken one night while there and could not be used to enter the hotel. We previously stayed at this location and the parking was FREE!. I booked through Expedia and did not see that the nightly Parking is $35 per night. In my opinion, (this is for the person responding to this review) it is not clearly on the page at Expedia, it says “Onsite Parking Available” with a drop down that must be selected. If you stay on a weekend and arrive late, be prepared to spend an enormous amount of time trying to find somewhere to park…100% more cars than spaces. I absolutely will never stay at this place again. I would like to type out a long expletive rant but I’ll save it..Blank this place and their blanking parking…No refunds or I would have likely left after arriving.

I was charged $60 for early check-in, and I feel obligated to warn other travelers about this. There was absolutely no mention of this fee anywhere—not in the Expedia hotel details, nor in any of the reviews. This lack of transparency is unacceptable.

The front desk informed me that any check-in before 4 PM requires a $60 fee. I was traveling with two children and a very large suitcase, and to make matters worse, I was told there was no place to store my luggage. I was left with no reasonable option but to pay the fee.

This was the first time I’ve ever encountered such a charge at a hotel in Los Angeles, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I strongly advise others to be cautious before booking this hotel. I will definitely not be staying here again.

Last, the bath sink is blocked in the room.

We arrived at the hotel from our cruise 5 hours prior to the stated check in time thinking that we would just have to drop our bags and wait for check in.
We were very pleasantly surprised that they had a room available for us immediately!
We were very happy with our stay and will definitely stay here again if we are in need of a room near LAX.

Didnt have airport shuttle at 6am flight. Had to get uber instead. Also paid for rental car parking? Paying park nightly is insane for a hotel. I dont recall seeing that in the booking? The room was not nice at all. Cracks and holes all over. Lights didnt work. Toilet wasn't working. Staff was nice though.
