It's in a revitalizing part of mid-Wilshire in Los Angeles. \"Beverly Hills Adjacent\" is more accurate. There are a lot of walkable restaurants and museums but the neighborhood isn't quite fully redeveloped, and there are a few homeless nearby that make it far from a Beverly Hills type of experience.

I asked in advance the staff multiple times what the cost would be for laundry for my personal towels that I brought as I’m traveling. I was quoted multiple times ~$18-20 and then when the bill came it was over $60!!! I asked multiple people including management in advance and even requested an exact quote which wasn’t provided. When I brought this up to the team all they could say is “sorry” didn’t do anything about it which left me very much disappointed with my experience.

I wasn’t able to check in early and when I returned later in the evening to check in, there was a very odd smell in the hallway. One of the elevators was out of service the entire time I was there. The bathroom light only worked half the time and I saw a bug on the floor.

I purchased this room through Expedia AND purchased the insurance policy and extra 20 per person. however the agent that booked it booked AC Beverly Hills not AC downtown LA where I needed to be. I had to buy a new room at the front desk at AC downtown LA and was told since it's a sister hotel AC Beverly Hills would refund me when I provided the policy number. I reached out through email, heard nothing. Called and was put on hold, disconnected and called again, and the call was dropped yet again. Finally was emailed that they would not be refunding me 2 weeks later. Terrible Customer Service and policies, they do not take care of their guests, people spending good money and getting nothing for it! I will not ever book with them again.

The staff was courteous and helpful, but I was disappointed with the condition of the room. The bed linens were of poor quality—my nightwear ended up covered in lint from the bedsheet, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the cupboard space was very limited and lacked proper coverage, making it difficult to store my belongings neatly. Overall, the room could use some improvements to enhance comfort and cleanliness.

There is a number of things wrong. The one that really hits is the manager making false accusations about our son who is 1. Just because he was making noise with a microphone that has an alien voiceover doesn’t mean anything else.
There is mold and the front door doesn’t open and close properly. Used shampoo, water bottle seal was broken. Creamer was sticky. No screens on windows. Outdated electrical. Room wasn’t clean. We got to the room late so we didn’t notice everything at nighttime. Poor lighting. Hard to see at night. Spiderwebs everywhere and other insects.
The power went out for over two hours (just our unit) they have electricity problems and customers service problems.
They refused a full refund after he said he would.

The hotel seemed ok (a lot of the lobby was closed off), but the room itself was definitely not worth the money. It was pretty sparse (weird layout and lighting) and around 2am you could hear water draining through the walls...which was really loud and disconcerting! The \"city view\" room that costs a little more for is just to see the street and a billboard, definitely not worth it.

Overall I didn't hate the place, but the money could have been spent better somewhere else -- this felt like Super 8 accommodations for high end prices. Save your money and either find cheaper accommodations that fit the price or something high end that makes it worth the money.

On a final note, there seems to be a lack of communication from expedia to this hotel - I had pre-purchased valet parking and had to argue with the person registering me that it was already paid for.

Truly the best experience in every way.
From arrival at valet to check out.

When we arrived for our check in it was about 11:30 pm and the valet and from desk were so kind. We let them know we just book this hotel online due to having a very bad experience at a previous hotel.
They were so kind quickly got our room.

Our room was beautiful and the view was even better.

We were able to grab some drinks the following night at the rooftop bar and service was great and drinks tasted great. I absolutely loved the service box they have on each table as well.
Drinks are a bit pricey.

I have always been a bonvoy member and love AC Hotel and they have a forever member in me.

Our room was perfect, clean and spacious.

Valet was always so nice and on top of it. The hotel is valet only I believe $60 a day plus tax so make sure to factor that into your stay.

10/10 would recommend.

They have a rooftop pool that is a bit small we did not use but it is nice to know that is an option when we come back.

We return to this hotel every time we go to LA (about once/month). It’s not fancy or anything but it is quite nice. Very polite, attentive staff, good parking-related people. Nice clean rooms with relatively new bathrooms and furniture. Good enough mini-mart with snacks and beverages, including alcohol. If you’re not familiar with Los Angeles, an ideal starting point for every tourist - central, easy parking and freeway friendly.

I was in LA for a day and needed somewhere safe, reasonably priced and in a convenient location to the things I was in town for. The AC hotel definitely met all of my criteria. My room was clean and had a decent amount of space. It had all the amenities that I needed in the room and a great view! The staff made the check in process very good for me and allowed me a late checkout. I will say valet is a bit pricey as it’s $60/night but that may be average around the LA area. The hotel is also undergoing some relocations so that is something to keep in mind if you care. I would definitely stay here again

Almost perfect but not quite. Clean rooms vith tiny fridges to let you know you should eat at their rooftop restaurant. Lots of security and aware staff.

Homeless people pretty much parked in front. Good location if you have a car. Not in actual Beverly Hills just close. Great rooftop, nice gym.

Good bed and easy parking with chargers.

The hotel is well placed close to the Academy museum, the Automobile museum and the the Grove. The room furniture was beaten down and not really convenient. There is no dining restaurant on site.

We always like staying here. Great neighborhood, close to Farmers Market (3rd & Fairfax), could walk through a very attractive neighborhood to get there. I find the pricing of parking to be flat-out outrageous, then again, welcome to Los Angeles. The rooms are fairly ordinary, but clean and not crowding. Staff are very friendly, courteous, helpful + they remember me every time I check in. Proves very reasonable for central location. Enjoy.

This was a convenient location for what we needed to do (business and pleasure) in LA. The rooftop pool area was small but very nice. We had it to ourselves at sunset!

Great food options walkable and a very friendly staff. And, I cannot overstate this, my children LOVED the Robot Ace, who delivered them snacks from the hotel’s market.

I've stayed here 2 times now. The first time was great. This time was still very good, but the darkening curtain wouldn't close all the way( it got bright at about 5am) , and we were on the very end both times. It gets kinda loud in the early hours( not sure why, maybe laundry dept or something?) Overall it was a great place. Staff is extremely friendly and they are very quick to answer your needs. Ashley at the front counter was so nice and friendly at checkout. Valet is great too.

The air conditioning in our our room didn't work well and it was way too hot. We called front desk and they sent an engineer to help fix it but the engineer did not fix it and it was still hot after. There was also a lot of banging and noise, the hotel is definitely not soundproof. My sleep was horrible here.

Everything was great except for parking. It was only valet and $60 a day. For our ten day stay we paid an extra $600 not including tips. Sometimes it took a while to get our car. But the rooms were perfect. Overall nice accommodations.

I had a tremendous stay it was close to work. Unfortunately they put me on the second floor right next to the ice machine and it was very hard to sleep at night.
I really liked the updated amenities like touch screen DND and housekeeping button while i was away.
However, after checkout i realized I cannot find my house keys I immediately called the hotel front desk and a woman named “Rashonda”was very rude upon answering. I immediately greeted her politely and told her my situation and asked to speak with housekeeping, she immediately cut me off and transferred me. After I wasn’t connected and mailbox was full I spoke to her again where she redirected me again, mid sentence. So I’ve grown frustrated and instead of responding negatively I asked to speak to someone else would like to help me because she was evidently burdened by this request. Eventually she transfers me and passive aggressively lets me know to “have a good day” in an obviously condescending tone. Mind you, I am locked out of my apartment with a one year old and felt it was easier to locate the keys before I notify my landlord.
Overall, I was helped by a kind staff member named Alisa who was empathetic to my situation and showed remorse for the actions taken by the front desk employee.
This phone call was recorded as stated upon the phone dial and I do hope that Rashonda gets the help she needs because clearly she is crying for help lashing out at people.
