Yes. Pool and slides were great for the price of the resort fee. The restaurant Valencia was unbearably slow. Plan to lose 2 hours there for a meal. The hallways were filthy (we were instructed to leave our trash in the hall. There was old trash debris scattered throughout the entirety of the hallway. It was never vacuumed the entire time we were there. The floors in the room were sticky. The spaces were ample and suitable for a large family. The main problem was the elevator. Just one small slow elevator for the entire tower. Even housekeeping had to use it. Our son uses a wheelchair so stairs weren’t an option. You might spend 15 to 20 minutes waiting for the elevator if its peak time. Resort fee doesn’t cover the surf machine. Thats was 35$ per session. A lot of things are extra $$. The nightly room rate is cheap but parking is expensive if you have more than one vehicle. Over all id say the value is fine. You get what you pay for but not much else.

It was okay, but we will not be back. We liked the proximity to all the parks, the staff were very nice, the water park was great to have nearby, and was relaxing and fun. It was easy to text the hotel and someone would answer quickly and helpfully. It was super cool to have fishing, too!

Unfortunately, there were more cons than pros, and I want to share in case it is helpful to others. There were a few things we did not like:
- The hallways were not maintained. There was trash along the sides and the carpets were not regularly vacuumed.
- We had to keep track of our pool towels or we would be charged. That’s hard to do when there are six of us! We were expected to use the same pool towels for our week stay.
- The linens were terrible. They didn’t have fitted sheets!
- The master bedroom did not have any bath towels, and it took a long time to get some.
- We asked for extra bedding for the pull out couch and it took hours to get.
- my elderly parents needed help making their bed, and the staff member only dropped them off and said “we don’t do that”
- The restaurant was constantly too full with a long wait. They closed the kitchen at 8:30pm even though they were open later because they had reached capacity. The food was also not very good.
- we rented a cabana which included attendant service. They stopped coming halfway through the day. They did take funds off for this when I mentioned it, which we appreciated!
- the shuttle running to the parks is very limited.

I had an excellent experience staying at The Grove Resort—it’s a great place to bring your family. The rooms are affordable and spacious, and there are several pools on the property, which kept everyone entertained. They also have an arcade where you can purchase play packages for the kids, which is a nice bonus.

It was really convenient having a Starbucks and a mini market right inside the resort. There is only one on-site restaurant, and while the food wasn’t amazing, it was decent and definitely eatable.

The only downside for me was the daily parking fee, which I didn’t love. However, checkout was super easy—you can do it right through the TV in your room, which made leaving hassle-free.

Overall, I’d rate this place a 10/10 and would definitely come back

Room was dirty, roaches came out at night in the kitchen, bed sheets had someone’s eyelashes/glue stuck to it. Toilets wouldn’t flush properly, microwave didn’t work, dryer didn’t work, curtains were filthy, floors not cleaned!!!

Bartender ignored us and tended to the black customers, only reason I mention this is because he seen us standing at the bar, after he made their drinks he never took our order and remained talking to the customers he just served. We were the only other customers waiting. After severlal minutes we went to the front to get our food order. We came back to order drinks and he said he was closed. 5 minutes before the bar was suppose to close. Bartender was black as well. I dont care about color but I really felt something was up the way we were ignored.

I asked to check out late and was aware and okay if my request could not be met. I asked the lady at the front desk she never looked at her computer nor took her hands out of her pockets and her reply was first \"huh uh\" no words just the sound, and then she said \"nope\". No smile or apologies. I called her out for her unprofessional manner. I was not upset about not being able to check out late, just the way she interacted with me. Then I thought I would let the supervisor, Miguel, know. I walked around to come back to the other side of the counter and this lady was talkin nad about me to the customer that had walked up after she was rude and when I called her out on her attitude. In the end Miguel helped us out and gave the service anone would expect at a resort. Hats off to miguel.

This property is conveniently located to all of the theme parks, Without the hustle of being in the middle of them. The staff was friendly at check-in. Our condo was nice and had a good view of the pool and lake. It was frustrating that our dryer did not work in our condo and housekeeping never came and emptied our trash while we were there for the week. When we checked in there was a bunch of garbage in the hallway outside of our room from another condo and it was still there 24 hours later.. so we had to call the front desk because the hallway was starting to stink. Our condo never had any paper towels or washcloths, and we reached out to guest services for them and never received them.

Loved the location of this resort and our huge room! We paid for the upgraded view and loved it! We had a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, dining, and living room! Pools were all nicely heated except the toddler, kiddy pool at the water park… not sure if it was just broken at the time but that was a huge bummer. Didn’t love the dining options on site, that was probably the biggest downfall of the resort. But, convenient location to lots of restaurants off site! Plenty of parking! Loved all the pools! Property was super well maintained with work constantly being done. My kids loved the arcade and mini golf. Wish they had a playground! We had a great trip and would stay here again!

Properties not too bad had we ended up changing rooms because the front of the hotel was very noisy. They were able to accommodate us because it wasn’t so busy. The hotel has definitely been heavily used although the stay was still nice. Everything in the hotel is very expensive. Food quality isn’t the greatest for the prices.

Our check in was pleasant. The gentleman who checked us in was helpful. Unfortunately, after we got to the room it was less great- we got a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom suite- it was plenty roomy, and there was a lovely screened in balcony. Unfortunately though, there were no towels in two of the bathrooms, less beach towels than we were supposed to have and very minimal supplies. We called for the towels which were left in a bag by the door- no apology or anything . There’s a keurig but no coffee pods, not even the reusable one where we could put our own coffee in- so you have to buy them at their little store or figure something out. There were no pot holders or dish towels, even though there’s a stove and oven. The whole place just seemed a bit run down and less than cared for. The headboard had a layer of dust in it. The screens on the balcony were coming apart a bit. The table in my room was missing a foot so the table was at like a 30 degree slope
The water park was fun and the music and drinks were lovely. We enjoyed the day. However, very hard to find a seat in the shade- all of those seats you had to pay for. So that was a bit annoying. I felt like anything aside from the very basics has a substantial up charge.
It was an ok weekend, but I did not feel like it was a special or outstanding place.

Amazing property. Room was spacious and well maintained. Loved the pools and water park. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The only criticism is that our room was on the first floor right next to the parking garage entrance. It was noisy and you could hear the door slamming a lot at night.

We arrived April 18th BUT I had accidentally on the reservation put the 17th...so when we got there they had CANCELED the reservation took my husband over an hour to get it fixed. Once in the room first thing I noticed was a clump of hair in the bathroom that was impossible to miss by the cleaning staff which we NEVER saw once and if thwy missed a clump of visible hair....what else did they miss!!

So we inspected the room and the rest was ok noy great but tolerable. Also on the website NO WHERE does it say these are time shares which had I known NEVER would have booked it.

No black out curtains and with the sun coming in was never dark enough to get solid sleep. Our view sucked as we were faced to a construction site which starts early another reason for poor aleep

None of us were happy.

We flew 3000 miles for this vacation and to saying sucked would be an understatement. I have stayed at hotel closer to home and what a difference in cate of the guests

Nice property but the overall cleanliness was disappointing. My children’s feet were black after walking around the rooms. During our 5 night stay the room was never vacuumed. The pool was dirty with bandaids and debris. The pool towels were rolled up while wet leaving them with an awful smell. Valencia’s restaurant food was super bland. I really wanted to love the property but the lack of cleanliness is nonnegotiable.

We were only at the property for one night & did arrive late in the evening, so our experience was limited, however after checking in and getting to our room we discovered that there were no extra sheets or bedding for the pull-out couch. Called the front desk, & they said they would send someone up with some. We waited & waited, finally looked outside the door & found bedding left at the door without anyone knocking to say it was there, only top sheet & a very thin blanket. As I said, it was late when we checked in, around 10pm, so everything was closed which was expected. I went to get some ice out of the freezer & the bin was empty. I called the front desk to ask if there was an ice machine, to be told only the freezer ice & that I needed to switch the ice maker on to get ice. Which meant no ice for the evening for us. We went to get cleaned up for the night & discovered no soap in the soap dispenser, so I thought I'd try the body wash, empty...& the shampoo, empty. Went into the kitchen to wash my hands with dish soap & found the fresh roll of paper towels with a huge wad of black fuzzy lint or something stuck to it. It was really a lot for one evening!!! The next morning, check out at 10 am, at 9:45am as we were gathering our last bit of luggage to leave, someone just knocked on the door & walked in the room. Assumed it was housekeeping, have no idea as they just walked out again. This was not the best experience. Left all this detail with the hotel, no response.

They advertised happy hour but only on bar followed through. I did enjoy the pools and lake activities. I did NOT like that they put gratuity in everything and did not tell you. I had fed my family of 4, the bill came to 154.00 i didnt realize until the next day, i gave the waitress a tip on top of the tip already included & she said nothing. Food was good, drinks were good. I loved that they played music all day by the pools. The hot tub should have an age limit. Young babies & children should not be in hot tubs

We just wrapped up a family stay at The Grove Resort, and it honestly felt like we booked a mini water park that happens to have rooms attached.

The pool area is the highlight—lazy river, multiple slides, and plenty of space so it never felt overcrowded. The lazy river quickly became our daily routine (there’s definitely an art to drifting properly), and the slides were a hit with both the kids and adults. Fast enough to be exciting, but still fun to go again and again.

The poolside bar was a great touch. Being able to grab a drink while keeping an eye on the kids made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. The vibe is casual, family-friendly, and just the right amount of “we’re on vacation.”

Food and drinks were solid—nothing overly fancy, but exactly what you want after a few hours in the water.

The rooms were spacious and perfect for a family stay. Having extra room to spread out made it feel more like a home base than a typical hotel.

Overall, the resort leans into fun over formality, and that’s what makes it work. It’s lively, easygoing, and designed for families to actually enjoy themselves.

We’d definitely come back—next time, better prepared for the lazy river.

When I arrive to my room it was not throughly clean and when I called to ask when would the room be clean, I was told rooms aren’t cleaned during the stay. They up charge the food on the resort and charge gratuity. I was not impressed by the resort for the amount of money I spent. I’m very disappointed!!!

Rooms were nice and clean. People not so friendly, but then again, you are in Florida. I come from the friendly state of Texas. The bar by the pool, had terrible bartenders! Not to mention only one for the who big pool area. Friday night went down to get a drink and food; they completely shut down the bar/food, and inside bar at 10:00pm. Not to mention the prices of the drinks! Expect to pay close to 40$ for two drinks.

I had gone here growing up and remember being a very nice clean, luxurious hotel stay. This hotel, nowhere near met my expectations and was very disappointing. We stayed the weekend there in a three bedroom two bath suite which was extremely expensive to be met with a dirty room with a nasty smell. There was stains on the pillows and blankets and the floor had a film of dirt, along with dirty monster cans under the dresser and feminine swimsuit liners on the shelves.

Guest services is TERRIBLE. I have twins and upon making the reservation noted that I needed TWO cribs which was said to be available on the website. When I got there we were told there was NO cribs at the hotel only pack and plays and “for fire safety reasons only one is allowed to be given” (I HAD A THREE BEDROOM SUITE) but they had none available and maybe ONE would be available the following morning. My father then called again because he was in disbelief of what was being said and the woman said “as I told your son, there is nothing for you.”. We were then never contacted for a crib or pack and play for my twin babies. Furthermore, when at the pool my parents were with my children swimming and I was upstairs, a server came and dropped a bag of food with two (burnt) kids burgers and a Cuban ON MY PARENTS CHAIRS, after about 5 minutes of wondering where it came from they came to the conclusion that I possibly sent it from the room for my children and them. It was NOT and they were forced to pay $50.

Overall it was a great place for a family. The rooms have enough space and having a kitchen was great. The down side is, not one day did cleaning service come in to tidy up, we had to call for clean towels & what to do about the over flowing garbage and were just instructed to leave all the towels and garbage outside the door. They did not come in to change sheets or refill the shampoo/conditioner/soap either. That was the biggest downside.

I had such high expectations going into this trip. The photos made this place look like a vacation within a vacation.
I’ll start off with the fact that the 2bedroom was very well designed. But I cannot ignore the fact that the when you took a bath, random filth was bubbling up. Or that the ceiling fan and toilet felt the need to serenade us while we tried to sleep. We killed 2 spiders and while it says the pool closes at 10pm. It did not, or it didn’t keep people from using it past and making a racket. The waterpark was crammed with people, every chair seemed to be taken. Water slides broken downs. Hair floating down the lazy river with you. Or the other quiet pools has trash everywhere! Dental floss picks, crackers by the handful and bottles.
Also, check in starts at 4pm! We got there at 405 and they said our room was not ready as checkin STARTS at 4pm. You are not guaranteed a room at that time. Never again

Staff was overall nice. Light fixture in kitchen cracked, table was chipped, bathrooms are spacious and clean. Water park was a huge hit. Air conditioning and pool towel situation sucked. Great value however pool drinks and food are expensive.

Great resort! So much for kids to do, the Surfari Waterpark is the best part, we spent 3 full days there and my kids really enjoyed it. The condo was clean, spacious and perfect for a family. The only downfall we noticed was the water in the shower didn’t get as hot as we’d like and the water pressure wasn’t very good. This may not be an issue for others, just something we noticed. The restaurant inside the resort was short staffed so food orders took a really long time to be served. Otherwise, great place to stay!

Distance from Disney and amenities were the reason we chose The Grove. It was disappointing to learn we could not bring our own food into the water park grounds, given the cost of our stay. We also did not have some essential items stocked in the room (coffee, sugar, dish towels) and our oven was broken. There was an issue with the air conditioning system as well which was extremely loud all 3 nights of our stay despite logging a ticket. Staff were gracious to refund the cost of parking as a result but this did not seem to really compensate for the lack of sleep and additional money spent to make our stay more comfortable. I would not stay again - too many hidden costs.

Practically no information provided at check-in. Did not get the free shuttle service as we were not informed you had to book and reserve a seat a minimum of 48 hours in advance. All the common spaces and elevator were filthy. Took two days to get fresh towels to shower. Food was lukewarm at best. pool was great though.

Loved our stay! Elevators were a little outdated and the hallways were a little dirty, but the room was great and the rest of the property was clean and well maintained! Had a fantastic time!
