The room was ok. The bathroom smelled terrible! We had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. The smell would find its way into the bedroom. Even with all windows open it was almost unbearable. No other rooms avail except for single beds. Also-no soaps or shampoos included.

This is an unusual place to stay but I really enjoyed it. It’s an old convent and some rooms are rented out. The rooms and facilities are quite simple but nevertheless good value, clean and functional. Staff are nice too. You can eat breakfast (basic) and a 3 course meal with wine and coffee for about 13 euros and it’s not bad! It’s in a great location by the marina. I would stay again. My only complaint is wifi is quite frankly nonexistent ( unless better in other rooms)

The building itself with the cloistered corridors and stained glass windows was very pleasant. The room looked newly fitted out (sink, shelving, reading light, plenty of sockets)

You get what you pay for.
One half step above a youth hostel. Stripped down lodging with vinyl floors and walls with glaring overhead lighting.Congregate, unisex bathroom with 7 stalls, 3 showers, and one sink with only cold water. Ran out of paper towels 2nd day. Reception friendly but did not speak English. Sheets were clean tho we had to make our own beds. It felt like summer camp!

Omg. Like a ward from one flew over the cuckoos nest mixed with religious zealotry. Smelt hugely of disinfectant everywhere, no towels and have to make your own sheets. Either the most horrific or funniest stay of your life. Great location near to amazing vannes tho!

This hotel is in a great location for exploring Vannes and is a great cheap alternative to the many city hotels. The building is beautiful although rooms are simply modernised and practical. Staff spoke very little English but we’re as helpful as possible. Everywhere is very clean and the beds are quite comfortable. As long as you don’t mind making your own bed and providing your own towels this is a great stopover hotel! The only issue we had was finding the car park!

Scary sterile former convent
I expected more of an old hotel, but this is actually an old monastery or convent or something which has been gutted and remodeled into tacky cold sterile looking rooms. It has no charm, which I was expecting. So, I was disappointed. The restaurant was closed and overall, I felt like I was staying in a horror film location. But, you get what you pay for, so... it was okay.

Property looks good from the outside. It used to be a convent and I believe it is still owned by the church. Whilst accommodation is cheap, it is NOT a hotel & shouldn't be advertised as one. Rooms are extremely basic although spacious. There is no hotel lobby, shared space, bar, towels are extra and you make your own bed. If you need a quiet, peaceful retreat with no other distractions then this is for you. If you want a cheap hotel, book it at your own risk.

La porte de la salle de bain avait la poignée arrachée , plus possible de la fermer alors que j'avais choisi une chambre à partager entre 3 amis de sexe différent nous avons dû utiliser les WC du couloir ainsi que les douches alors qu'il y avait une salle de bain dans la chambre !!! Nous l'avons signalé à la réception on nous a répondu c'est normal..... la poignée est commandée !!! Ah ben ça change tout on est ravi pour les suivants....

Bitte gebt 20 Euro mehr aus und sucht Euch eine vernünftige Unterkunft. Ich habe es nach langem Überlegen getan und den Zimmerpreis plus Frühstückspreis von 8 Euro in den Wind geschrieben.

Ancien couvent transformé en hébergement. Donc plein de trucs clochent. Sur 7 nuits, j'ai dormi 5h chaque nuit, insuffisant. Pour 1 nuit c'est sans doute très bien.

Super séjour passé dans cet établissement,avec un agréable accueil à l'arrivée et dans la salle du petit déjeuner. Excellent emplacement donnant sur le côté port et ville avec belle vue . Chambres simples mais grandes propres et lumineuses , grands espaces dans l'établissement.

J ai réservé mes 2 nuits sur une erreur et j ai été enchanté de mon séjour propre chaleureux espace dehors pour se reposer et manger très propre certains membres pour l l acceuil pas trop chaleureux mais dans l ensemble bien par contre le self du midi ressert le plateau repas du soir avec le même menu du midi un peu dérangeant mais il règne dans ce diocèse un bien être fou on ce sent apaisé très agréable je reviendrais car cela m a fait du bien et permis de rencontrer des clients comme moi très chaleureux tout le monde se parle avec le sourire c est beau et le retour a la réalité montre que nous vivons dans un monde de surplus et m a permis de changer certains regards sur ce qui m entour je vous invite à aller dans cette endroit

Ce n’est pas un hôtel, mais un centre d’hébergement. L’information à ce sujet n’est pas très claire sur le site. Il n’y a ni serviettes, ni shampooing, et les lits ne sont pas faits : les draps sont simplement déposés sur le lit. Les WC et les douches sont collectifs, les lits grincent, et les chambres sont très petites.
J’avais réservé via Hotels.com, mais j’ai dû repayer sur place. Le lendemain, après avoir présenté la preuve de paiement, j’ai été remboursé, mais seulement en partie : la commission de Hotels.com n’a pas été remboursée.
Il faut donc venir équipé et en connaissance de cause. Cela dit, le prix est très abordable, c’est très propre, et le petit déjeuner est modeste, mais correct.

Déçu. Je n'ai pas de probleme avec basic, mais là c'était un peu trop. A' prévoir, il n'y a pas de serviettes. Vous faites votre lit (pas un souci). Pas de verre ou tasse si vous voulez boir de l'eau dans la chambre. Par contre trés propre.

Ce n'est pas un hotel mais un diocèse.. confort rudimentaire, pas de télé ni de WiFi. Je ne comprends pas qu'on puisse réservé ça sur un site de réservation d hôtel. J'ai du prendre un autre hôtel au dernier moment pour les enfants.

Very good location, room. Could stay for days.
Very clean, good use of space, quiet and comfortable beds with good blinds to shut out any light. Slept very well. Close to the city centre. No towels (you can purchase) or soap/toiletries. So bring your own. Other than that, all perfect. Very happy with the price too in comparison with other hotels in the area and their offering.
