Nice property with excellent location to old town Linz. Very walkable and many transport options. Helpful staff, great breakfast spread, comfortable rooms, and a bunch of dining / drinking choices nearby. I stayed for 5 nights and would gladly book here again.

This hotel seems to be off the beaten path, though turns out to be close to so much and a main path that leads to the Hauptplatz square. Staff was friendly and were offering many great suggestions.

Centrally located, this hotel was very convenient for exploring Linz. Rooms on the smaller size and fairly basic. Very clean with staff being polite and good senses of humour. Have since stayed in another leonardo in Spain due to my good experience here.

We stopped for only one night in our road trip and we thought it was a very nice place to stay: clean, renovated, close to restaurants, comfortable rooms even if it was small, nice person at the reception! What can we ask more? Hum… all of that for a more than reasonable price!

It did the trick for us, last minute booking, very reasonable price.
‘Boutique’ in the name of the hotel is a bit misleading as the property had dozens of rooms, it’s a large hotel. But rooms are very comfortable, especially the bed with extra long duvet. Also quiet air conditioning that doesn’t blasts too cold or too hot.
We woke up truly rejuvenated and were glad to find out the check out is at midday.
Location of the hotel is perfect in the middle of the old town and it’s easy to find street parking nearby free during the weekend which was a nice bonus.

We used Expedia to reserve this hotel. We got a confirmation from the hotel. When we got there, they said they didn’t have our reservation and the hotel was full. I showed all my emails, reached out to Expedia, and they weren’t apologetic or helpful. Finally, they “found” a room, but the experience was not customer friendly.

This is a very nice hotel. Check-in was simple; we could choose online or in person at the 24hr reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. We appreciated the fridge and coffee machine. The highlight was the exceptional breakfast, which we enjoyed every morning. The hotel itself is within walking distance from the main train station - we had wheelie luggage and it took about 20 minutes. The \"shopping centre\" that is next to the hotel is just a hairdresser, an eatery and a bar/restaurant. There are much better shopping options a little further away, but still nearby. There are two Hofer/ALDI stores and a couple of SPARs and a Lidl for snacks etc. The walking streets are nice but beyond that, the city has quite a lot of traffic and heavy industry and you can see pollution belching from the factories. The Danube is nearby and the tram stop that goes to Postlingberg is close (well worth a visit!). Overall, the hotel is nice and the surrounding streets are worth visiting, other than that, we would not return to Linz itself as there is not much to do.

I book a superior room when I arrived they gave me a room at second floor, superior means higher floor.

This was a very comfortable place to stay and the staff was very accommodating. I would recommend it to others. The only strange thing for me was the bathroom door was glass and not very private (there was some frosted parts but not enough) so that made it slightly awkward sharing with my 22 year old daughter. Overall a great place to stay!

This is a charming little hotel in a nice section of Munich. As a solo female traveler I felt totally safe here. The place was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was fantastic, but most importantly was the staff….the owner and her assistant were so sweet and went above and beyond to provide first rate service. Stay here, it’s a treat!!

Second time staying at this hotel for a conference at Lentos Kuntsmuseum. Hotel is really nice and clean. Wifi speed is very good. It's in the old part of time within a very short walking distance to all the touristy sites. It's also close to quite a number of really good restaurants serving local cuisine. Some of these restaurants only have the menu in German. Make sure you a way to googletranslate things if your German is minimal to zero.
All the TV channels are in German. Some of the stuff may be American but it's all dubbed into German.

I had a room with a king size bed. It was very clean and comfortable. One thing that should be noted is that the rooms are quite small. Mine was perfect for one person, but if you're booking a king size bed for two people, just know that there's not a lot of space for both of your suitcases, clothes, etc. The staff were great, as they helped me combine separate reservations and were able to schedule an early morning taxi for me. So much appreciated!

The only glitch in my stay was at checkout, when their records showed that I ate breakfast there for 5 days of my stay (at 14 euros per day). I never once had the hotel's breakfast. Luckily, we were able to sort it out, but I would advise the hotel to work out a more reliable system for determining who is and who isn't having breakfast. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay in a very central part of town, and I would stay there again.

Very clean, new hotel. Very basic as far as offerings and amenities. Breakfast was decent and decent value.Just seem to charge for every little amenity. Paid coffee in reception, only 2 free coffees in room, then pay. I just expect a bit more when paying $150 for a bed.
But cleanliness modern look was A1.

We did not like that there was no telephone in the room, not even a house telephone. We had problems with the coffee machine and the only communication with the front desk was to go down and talk to the. We also found the room very small. We had to put our suitcase on the bed to open it. No complaints about staff and cleanliness, but all in all we did not think that it we got a good value for our money, even the breakfast at €15 was overpriced.

Nothing at all to complain about. It felt a lot higher-quality than its rating, too. If anything, I'd say it was underpriced.

Clean as a whistle, modern and updated. No major difference from a solid business/professional hotel.

Also, really good location. Quiet, *just* to the side of the main central block, but mere seconds' walk away. Maybe 4-5 minutes to the main square.

Very happy with this one.

The hotel is located close to the city center, next to the city cathedral. Also, you have many ways of transport around it. The main train station is located at 15-20 minutes walk. It is very nice inside, it is somehow a new hotel, and the furniture has a new and clean aspect. The bed was comfortable but the pillow was very small and not so comfy. I loved the shower cabin and the water pressure, a big plus for that. You have two capsules of coffee in the room for the first night which is great for coffee lovers. As a summary, it was a very good stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Besser geht's nicht. Hotel in einer zentralen Lage trotzdem ruhig. Das Personal immer gut gelaunt und freundlich. Bei unserem Zimmer war das Fernsehgeräte nicht programmiert. Wir konnten nicht fernsehen. Da dieses Problem nicht sofort gelöst werden konnte, wurde kurzerhand das Zimmer getauscht. Frühstück war für 16 Euro absolut fair. Leonardo Design Hotel Linz gerne wieder.

Zimmer war gut und sauber, alles da, auch Klimaanlage, große Dusche und genug Ablagemöglichkeiten.
