My wife and I stayed in the Park Inn for two nights (junior suite) in December 2025. The suite was clean, modern, had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. The location is also great, right in the heart of Linz. We didn’t have breakfast as it was quite expensive (€88 for two nights) and there are many great bakeries and cafes around the hotel. The on-site underground parking was appreciated (€19 per night), with direct hotel elevator access. As the hotel entrance is located after the parking entrance, it is better to park and then check in to avoid driving around the block to park after checking in. The hotel personnel were helpful but not overly friendly. One thing that annoyed us was that it was impossible to maintain a constant water temperature in the shower – it would go from very cold to very hot from one moment to the next. Otherwise, the hotel is a great place to stay in the heart of Linz.

It was cold in the room, and the heating was working bad. Toilet flush was not working properly, it was frustrating. There was an extra removable bed in the room which was not asked at all, and it was partially blocking the entrance to the toilet. Came 10 minutes before the breakfast was finished, there was almost nothing left on buffet from pastry.

This hotel is ideally located downtown and easy walk to stores, restaurants and the Danube. The hotel is very modern and has an excellent breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The parking is in a garage directly below the hotel which is also clean and with very easy access from the street.

The room was small but we had a balcony that opened up onto a grassy area which was v handy for our two pups.

good: got a nice upgrade, good breakfast, good area, close to city center.
inconvinient: we were there with an electric car, there are 4 chargers in the parking, but the parking is public so you only get 4h to charge then you either start again or move the car, i undersant that is good so everybody gets a spot to charge but when you arrive in the evening and want to sleep to go after 4h to restart charching and then again after 3h to move the car you don't get much sleep. or you do as i did pay extra for not moving the car, all night there was only my car so it was a little bit dumb to be charged for not moving.

Located in a quiet area but only a few minutes walk and you’re back on the main shopping street and only 10 minute walk to the old square. Good standard hotel, breakfast has good options just be mindful though that you’re expected to have finished and be out of the dining room by 10, not able to arrive last minute then linger, staff member wasn’t happy that people were doing this, but fair enough he was getting it set up for lunch. Overall a good location for a night in Linz. Train station about a 20 minute walk.

Worst check-in experience ever

Check-in was a nightmare. I don't know if the hotel provides any adequate training to all its receptionists, or whether employees treat someone depending on what the person looks like. In general, guests are not your buddies, and you don't scream their first names from across the lobby, you also don't try to school guests, that's not a well-trained receptionist does.

This Radisson is we located in elegant Linz and my room was lovely, with a view of the park at the rear. Spacious and comfortable with a lovely bathroom.

Reception and bar staff were polite and friendly.

I would have given the hotel a higher rating, but my experience at breakfast was not so good. I went down at 0945 as I was busy earlier and felt rather awkward. There was no real welcome and most of the tables were laid for lunch. I felt rushed and there was no fruit left, plus the eggs had clearly been out a long time. It was not enjoyable or nutritious.

I usually get down earlier, but if a breakfast is advertised as up to 10am, then a full service should be provided. Otherwise please just say 0930.

This morning I avoided breakfast due to the previous experience, so I feel short changed.

The hotel is situated in the town, there is a small square / park opposite which was nice to take a walk round. The area has a little graffiti and so on but feels safe

Everything in the hotel room was of a decent standard, the room was quiet and the bed comfortable.

The reception staff were excellent, one in particular helping out with recommendations for restaurants and so on in the locale.

The food in the bar was nice, some good choice of beer, and good service.

Breakfast is the standard buffet fayre you would expect.

I would happily stay here again.

Stay during pandemic

Check in was fast but nobody confirmed whether we have been vaccinated or have negative pcr test.

The hotel says that there is an issue with expedia (hotels.com) comments when booking the room, cause these are not relayed to the hotel.

Pillow, as requested, did not have feathers (allergic) but it was a razor thin pillow making it difficult to sleep.

Despite being a 4 star hotel, there is no restaurant (or room service) at the weekend.

Hand sanitizers are available in every corridor, near the elevator and in the lobby.

However hotel guests walk around the common areas, and use the elevator without wearing masks.

In the breakfast room, the vaccine status check is done very superficially. I believe I could have given anyone's vaccination certificate and they wouldn’t have noticed.

When checking out at 4am, there wasn’t anyone attending the front desk. Both myself and another guest needed to knock on a bunch of doors to get someone so we could leave for the airport.

Please improve this for future guests

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was modern and clean and a great location. Manuel (red hair) at the front desk was incredibly helpful and pleasant and really went above and beyond to help us. We appreciated being able to store our bikes safely. We would defiantly return.

All the hotel staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, always willing and happy to provide advice and help, with whatever was needed. The staff were always willing to go above and beyond to help you and make your stay enjoyable and stress free.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, and the bed and pillows provided were very comfortable. TV provided had Polish and English channels.
The restaurant on site was also amazing, from the food to the service.
The hotel was closely situated to the main shopping street, and was a 20 minute walk away from the main bus and train station. It was a good location in a safe and clean part of the city.

It is a well located hotel.

The hotel is well located near the city centre with all attractions within the walking distance. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. However, there are limited amenities. There is no coffee maker, no kettle, no refrigerator, no slippers. There are only liquid soap dispenser for hair, face and body; no hair conditioner, no body lotion.

In the City Center

This is an overall very good hotel. People are who might make your stay a good or a bad memory. Here the people will make it a great experience. This is why I am a returning customer.
This time I would like to underline the helpfulness of Mr. Furkan Karatas. I forgot all my money, credit cards, passports, car papers etc in the safe. I drove to Vienna, and I have noticed it just hours after. But Furkan fixed my mistake, I drove back and everything was great.
The Expedia VIP benefits are supported here well.

The Park Inn was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. It is a modern hotel with comforts and well located. It is not luxurious but is a good hotel for the price.

The bed was comfortable, pillows were good and plenty of towels. The room was spacious and the common areas agreeable. They could have a better coffee system in the room and include bottled water. I would stay here again and recommend it.

Great stay in a not usual tourist destination

We visited Linz for a week-end (two nights). Probably Linz is busy during the week, we enjoyed the silent, relaxed atmosphere on the weekend. While Austria is a very touristic country, Linz is not a real touristy town. We enjoyed the town and surroundings with almost no tourists. The only tourists we have seen are passing by Chinese tourists just stopping for a sleep and breakfast.
The hotel was great, the hotel staff extremely kind. Especially Andrea Daucher at the front desk helped with everything. My advice is to ask for her if you have any questions or requests.

Hotel was as expected, well located, well run, and a pleasant stay. Facilities good, breakfast array good, but no service which is simply bad management. Used by a few bus your groups so busy made getting coffee very slow.
I would stay again though, good out weighed the bad as in most hotels in this group
