Pros:
Clean & safe

Cons:
You can use air conditioning machine only from 4 pm till 1 am. For the rest of the time the machine you can’t turn it on.
Breakfast is at very odd time where it starts at 8 am, whereas all the day trips start at 6:30 am.
It’s also kinda far(15 minutes walk with 10 minutes walk on empty streets with dogs) from Tocopilla street.

This property was nice for the most part! For some odd reason they dont follow the “Do Not Disturb” signs and enter your room even if its posted. It’s very quiet so if anyone is up moving around you can hear. Also the room we had was adjacent to a censored light that went off every few seconds. Which was frustrating when you are trying to go to sleep as there are no curtains. No microwave, no oven so don't take leftovers. Lastly, the Air-conditioning only is available from 4pm-1am which isn’t favorable in the summer and no fans. Not terrible, but i wouldn’t stay again.

This is a lovely secluded place walking distance to the center. I loved coming back home after my trying and challenging tours. San Pedro is charming yet a very dusty town, but once I entered the hotel and my room everything was pristine.As it happens, they dont have an indoor heating system, yet the bed can be warmed up. I hardly needed to use it but it is a brilliant option to warm yourself. The breakfast is basic but elegantly prepared. Senyora Ely is a gem, very helpful lady. Highly recommended place

A quiet refuge not far from the main drag

Parina Atacama is in a quiet neighborhood about a five-minute walk from Caracoles, the main street where restaurants, supermarkets, travel agencies and shops are found. There are also a few small minimarkets just a minute away for buying fruit, water, snacks, etc. The hotel has a small courtyard with a few tables, chairs, and a small pool. My room had a television. It also had air conditioning available during the evening starting at 4:00 pm. Breakfast is delivered to the room from 8:00 am. Ernesto and the hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

This property is not in the thick of the hustle of town yet very close to walk in easily. Great bakery right on the corner for easy treats.

The only downside for this property was the management. We felt like Rosanna was constantly check on us, whether we were using the space correctly, when we were coming and going, even how much we were using the air-conditioned, she turned it off on us both nights and we had to request it be turned back on. This made it less relaxing than it could have been.

It’s not worth it

Heater (AC) works until 11 pm and it doesn’t work nights hours when it gets really cold. Breakfast is just 2 pieces of bread with jam. You can hear all neighbors upstairs. Imagine they wake up at 5 am to go for a tour

This is really a very basic place. Very old linen, towels and furniture. Very budget which the price doesn’t reflect. I booked it as it was one of a few properties advertising air conditioning. It barely works and is limited to a few daytime hours and turned off at night. They have no fans which is unusual in San Pedro, the reason given that there is aircon. The places is boiling. If you get hot at night or in the day do not book here. Having said that, the place is surprisingly spacious. Very clean. I liked the staff. A bonus was a secure car park.

It was very clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The hotel was only a short 5-10 min walk to the centre of the town, where there were lots of restaurants and bars. It was a great base for exploring the Atacama desert!

This hotel was clean and we very much appreciated the fresh water dispenser and the complimentary breakfast or box lunch. It's not new and and mostly just a place to sleep, but not hang around at. I would like to say that what makes it special is the staff. Briana speaks English and was able to help us in a transportation crises due to the protests. She took charge and went above and beyond to help us. For that, I will always be grateful to her.

The room is large and the bed is comfortable. We liked that there was a TV and the internet actually worked!! But mainentance needs to be improved within the kitchen. We also didn't like that it was very difficult to get service at the front. When we arrived we waited out a front gate for some time before anyone answered the buzzer. We also were trying to check out and couldn't find anyone.

I noticed that there were a few negative reviews for this hotel, but I think that they were completely wrong. This is a great hotel! It is small and quiet, even though it is just a few minutes walk from the center of town. The manager was warm welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was brought to the room every morning, and you could also ask for a box lunch if you were going on an excursion. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well designed, with a kind of loft bedroom and a downstairs kitchen/dining area, and outside there are tables, chairs and a small shared pool. And the price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is cute and our loft is nice and spacious. But the whole thing went downhill when I lifted up the cover and found short curly hairs on the sheets. A couple of hairs on the bed usually doesn’t bother me too much because I think the sheets could be clean but some hairs may just be stuck during the laundry process. So at first I started picking them off and throwing them on the floor. After I repeated this process probably 10 times as I uncovered more and more hairs along the way, I became grossed out as it was clear the sheets have not been changed since the last guest. I went downstairs and asked the receptionist for a clean set of sheets which she gladly changed for us, so the staff especially the woman who works the late shift was nice and helpful. This was around 8pm at night when we just got back from dinner.

Our loft has only 1 heater on the second floor and the heat wasn’t strong enough, leaving the place very cold at night. Even worse, the heater kept turning off in the middle of the night and we couldn’t figure out how to have it stay on so we pretty much woke up everyday for 4 days at 5:30am from the coldness. We talked to the staff everyday to check the heater, but it continued throughout our stay.

But the hotel has a cute dog FiFi and generally pleasant staff. They need to invest in better heating system as the nights were around 30 Degrees Fahrenheit when we stayed there in late May.

Would highly recommend staying here. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The private kitchen was welcomed after being on the road a long time. There's a nice outdoor area that you can relax in too. The breakfast was one of the best we've had so far in South America. The only drawback was that they forgot to deliver our breakfast at the time I had ordered it for so we were left for an hour waiting wondering where it was before I reminded them. San Pedro itself is quite expensive so be prepared! Thats why the private kitchen was such a great addition to the rooms

We spent 8 nights in the Apart Hotel and would stay there again. The stay were helpful, the apartment was fine and we enjoyed the breakfasts that were included. It was nice to sit by the pool at the end of the day. It had daily house-keeping.
We ate at the local restaurant around the corner a number of times (lunch only, but served till quite late) and even took take-out there and supplemented it with fresh vegetables for dinner. There are a few small local shops not far away. It is a 10 minute walk to the tourist zone, so the apart/hotel is not really in the tourist zone, giving the feeling of being a little closer to the local population. We rented a pick-up truck for a few days and parked it in the secure parking across the street (it was a little tight when there were other vehicles, but still OK)
The unit is a little dark, but that is normal for a desert environment. The comfortable bed is on the 2nd floor, but the bathroom is on the ground floor. It was mostly quiet at night (there are plenty of street dogs in San Pedro).
We would stay here again. It was one of our favorite accommodations while we were in Chile/Argentina.

Great place to stay in San Pedro. Room was nicer than the photos made it look. Cute lounge area up top and pool for cooling down on the hot days. Front desk staff was amazing. They make breakfast everyday and if you cannot attend breakfast they will send you a packed lunch. Parking lot across the street is locked up and has covered spots. 5-10 minute walk to all restaurants, shops and bars.

A quaint hotel in an amazing town of San Pedro

It is a small quaint hotel that blends well with the desert environment. The rooms are a bit small and cramped, but there is a separate sit out area, which is good. Bathrooms was not great, with the wash basin and flush in not great condition. Wifi was available but one had to keep reconnecting.
The staff were very courteous, pleasant and helpful. Language was a problem though and one needed google translator.

Quarto limpo porém eles somente limpam pela manhã, se você for tomar café da manhã e for na hora que eles forem limpar, eles não limpam. Tem uma senhora anciã muito da mal educada, ela reclama de tudo. Inclusive da hora de chegada do voo. O café da manhã é pessimo, eles somente servem de 8AM até 9:30AM, se pedir antes não servem. Nunca vai tomar café da manhã porque os passeios sempre saem na maioria de 5AM. Piscina suja e pequena.

Ficamos no Parina tanto quando chegamos em San Pedro, quanto na volta de Uyuni, que antecedia nosso retorno ao Brasil. O hotel é excelente!! Tem água quente, bom chuveiro, é super limpinho e tem tudo o que você pode vir a precisar. Além da excelente localização. As pessoas que tomam conta são um tópico todo especial. Todas MUITO gentis, muito amáveis, super simpáticas e prestativas. No dia do passeio aos Geysers del Tatio eu passei muito mal por costa da variação de altitude e senhora que cuida do hotel me deu chá de coca e foi super querida dizendo o que deveria fazer pra me sentir melhor. Enfim, indico de olhos fechados.

Hotel bem localizado, apenas 10 minutos de caminhada da rua Caracoles. Arrumavam o quarto todos os dias e a limpeza não deixava a desejar. Sugiro apenas um lixo maior ou dois lixos, um para o banheiro e outro para o quarto. Quarto não deixou a desejar em questão de espaço. Guardaram nossas malas de graça no checkout. O pessoal do hotel é honesto, não sumiu nada do quarto. O café da manhã começa tarde e tem um horário curto, o que impediu de tomarmos café da manhã considerando os passeios em 5 dos 6 dias que ficamos, porém, ganhávamos snacks para levar de lanche nos passeios (barrinha de cereal e clube social com dois sucos, às vezes maçã). No dia que tomamos o café da manhã, achamos fraco, pois vinha cinco fatias de pão para o casal e duas fatias de queijo e presunto para cada, com apenas UM salame para cada. Gostamos que tínhamos a chave da entrada do hotel, logo, não dependíamos de ninguém da recepção, tendo liberdade de ir e vir à vontade. Não utilizamos a piscina, devido ao frio, então não podemos opinar. A cama era super confortável e o chuveiro quentinho, apesar de não ter box, apenas cortina, o que molhou o banheiro no primeiro dia, aprendemos a lidar e não atrapalhou em nada. Recomendo demais. A senhora que ficava na recepção era muito gentil.

Possui limpeza diária, localização segura e está a 10 minutos de caminhada da Rua Caracoles. No caminho há algumas opções de restaurantes e lanchonetes. O café da manhã é servido por quarto no horário a escolha dos hóspedes (de 8:00 as 9:30) e contém o essencial, variando as opções todos os dias. É uma hospedagem com os quartos muito próximos, mas bastante silenciosa, ideal para descansar.

Contrary to what is stated in the hotel description, none of the stafg spoke a word of English. The AC is available only after 5 pm, but it is very hot during the day in the desert. We stayed in the superior room and it was very cramped, not enough room to open up the luggage. No hair blower in the room. The one provided by the staff was set to low so after half an hour if ttying yo dry my hair I gave up and went to bad with damp hair. The room was also quite cold at night.

Pontos positivos: quarto com bom isolamento térmico, chuveiro a gás bem gostoso.
Pontos negativos: café da manhã -> em primeiro lugar os hotéis em geral preparam um kit de café da manhã para os hóspedes que vão sair para passeios que antecedem o início do café da manhã no para que eles levem, já que o valor que se paga inclui o café da manhã. No parina Hotel isso não existe. O café começa a ser servido às 8h e se você não vai estar mais no hotel, problema seu. Considerem que quase todos os passeios no Atacama saem bem cedo antes das 6h da manhã, então , dos 6 dias apenas tomamos café no hotel 2 dias.
Nesses 2 dias qual foi o café servido para 2 pessoas: 6 fatias de pão de forma, 4 fatias de queijo e presunto, 100ml de leite, 3 sachês pequenos de café solúvel (Nescafé), 1 iogurte para cada. É isso. Servidos numa mesa na porta do quarto (numa temperatura ambiente < 10°C), o que faz com que tudo esteja gelado em um segundo. E o pior para nós: pedi um ovo e a atendente me informou que só era permitido fornecer ovos para os hóspedes no último café da manhã na hospedagem, o comida disponível era só aquela mesmo!!!!!!
Sobre a roupa: Perguntei a atendente se existia a possibilidade de, sob pagamento de taxa extra, elas poderiam lavar algumas peças de roupa, obviamente a resposta foi “no se puede”, de forma que era tão bizarro que virou uma piada entre eu e meu marido, tudo relacionado as solicitações à equipe do hotel era “no se puede”.
É isso, não recomendo

Foi tudo ótimo e cuidado com muito carinho. Café da manhã gostoso, cama boa e chuveiro bom. Muito próximo ao centrinho da cidade, andando chega tranquilamente :)

Angenehme Anlage. Unser Zimmer war relativ klein, ebenso das Bad. Keine Klimaanlage/Heizung, dadurch im Winter etwas kühl, aber warme Bettdecken. Frühstück konnte draußen an einem kleinen Tisch im Innenhof eingenommen werden.
