I did not stay here. Room was hot, no hot water
Restaurant was not operating.
Receptionist agreed room were not acceptable and no charge would be made. We went elsewhere. But charges were made anyway

20 minute walk from town

A pleasant hotel with the dining room looking across a maize field to a fine view of Licancabur and other volcanoes. Rooms are clean but basic -- no phone, TV, internet or air conditioning (but a large fan and a radiator). Wifi in public areas is fine for email, too slow for downloading large attachments. Dinner service is friendly and the food is well-prepared but the menu is limited -- salads and hot sandwiches. Few of the staff speak English.

The hotel is really good! The staff are always willing to help you and very friendly! The external area is super nice! Is a great place if you want to relax and be in a quiet and peaceful place, different from the crowd and loud San Pedro center.

ok hotel, but could be better

We stayed here for one week.

pros:
The rooms were ok and clean, and the reception staff was friendly. The location is ca 10-15 minutes walking from San Pedro center.

cons: breakfast is a hit or miss - if there is enough food, breakfast is good. However, the kitchen staff doesn't care to check on the buffet, and half of the mornings there was basically no food left when we got there. When asking the kitchen staff to refill, they were very rude and unfriendly (but brought more food after a while).
Also, if you don't like loud music, this place isn't for you, since the kitchen staff is listening to music at a very high volume.
The pool is kind of dirty, water has a green color and there are small green algae growing on the pool walls.

Maybe true of San Pedro de Atacama in general...

Atacama is a great place to visit but why are the hotels so terrible in facilities yet charge sky high prices? I am staying at the Cumbres in touristy but convenient Puerto Varas, southern Chile at the same price for 10 times the convenience. This hotel has good staff and a decent lunch / dinner menu but the facilities resemble a dusty bug infested Motel 6. Far from the main street of San Pedro (15 min walk at best which can turn unbearable with afternoon sun). Unfortunately, staying in Calama and doing the sights can be inconvenient. Grit your teeth and go to this place if you do not have a better option (which is unlikely since the Cumbres is probably the only decent place in San Pedro).

Clean, comfortable hotel

This hotel is not downtown, but since San Pedro de Atacama is a small place, I was able to walk to the plaza and see the church which is the main attraction. The hotel is at the end of a secluded, unpaved and unlit street but as a single traveler I did not feel unsafe because there is traffic from other hotels on the way. Whatever reservations I had about the location melted away once I reached the property. It is a charming place, dotted with cactus and native plants. The room was basic, but comfortable and clean. The reception guys are especially thoughtful - I was scheduled to leave the next morning at 6 but the breakfast begins at 7:30 AM. They put out a (modified) breakfast for me in the dining room and ensured that I had something to eat before I left.

Tranquil hotel in walking distance to San Pedro

The 15 minute walk from the hotel to the village is often mentioned as a problem in other reviews. I see this as an advantage that makes for a tranquil setting. Tour operators will anyway collect you straight from the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, wifi in reception and restaurant area and breakfast decent as well.

Hotel with a beautiful view

The hotel is located outside the town so it is quiet and it is surrounded by green areas. It has a very nice pool and area to sit outdoors. The view to the mountains is fantastic.
The reservation included dinner, but this was very disappointing. In the first place there is no door between the kitchen and the dining area so you hear everything that happens in the kitchen and unfortunately the cook likes listening to bad music very loud and sing along, this combined with the music for the dining area is just stressful. We asked if the kitchen could turn down the volume of the music and received a: \"really?\". Dinner was not good, we all had salmon with rice and tomatoes, and the rice was without any salt, we got uneven salmon portions (my son had a normal sized piece, me a much smaller piece than him and my husband seems to have received what was left over: three very tiny pieces from different cuts ..), and only my son got tomatoes on the side....
Breakfast was a loud experience again, I had to ask one more time if the volume of the kitchen music could be lowered ....

Pleasant hotel with pool; 15 minute walk to town

Friendly staff manages this property well. Rooms are basic but clean and modern. Breakfasts are OK, lunches and dinners are good to excellent. Nice pool and lounge area. Good views of the mountains. I would stay here again. But, if you don't want to walk to town or get a cab, this is not the place for you.

Beautiful hotel and even better staff

The hotel is just a 10-15 minute walk away from the main town. It makes for a very peaceful and quiet setting. The location is gorgeous with the desert sunset just outside your door.

Our experience was the staff was first rate. Unfortunately, we had to deal with a family emergency and the staff went beyond the call of duty to help us. They all stayed late and allowed us use of their phone and computers to address our issue.

This hotel is about 1/2 mile out of town but walkable. It was a great location on the long holiday weekend when San Pedro was very crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel included breakfast and dinner, a great feature because after touring during the day, we could relax, have a drink and enjoy dinner. Though not warm enough for me, the hotel also has a pool and I enjoyed sitting in the shade taking advantage of WiFi. I would highly recommend this hotel. Not plush, but a great choice!

We liked this hotel

Everything is very new in this hotel. Breakfast and one of lunch or dinner is included, hot water and private bathroom in each hotel room. We like this place. However, this hotel is a little far from the town San Pedro de Atacama. We took the taxi going to/returning from the town; the taxi costs 3000 peso each way. We tried to walk back to the hotel one day, but we got lost; then, we took a taxi.

During the day, inside the room is hot if the window is not open. In the night, the room temperature drops. First we could not fall to sleep, and then we woke up feeling cold. Be prepared for this drastically changing climate.

Has potential. Unfortunately rooms need much attention (broken towel rail, broken wardrobe door handles, nor all lights operative). Grounds unkempt, gift shop closed, wine tasting cave closed. Food - very poor quality and little choice.. Bar not operating. Staff and manager pleasant.

a nice vacation

The staff is extremely accommodating and very friendly. The location is quiet and convenient...close to ruins and the pueblo. All within walking distance. The meals were above average and the common restaurant area and the rooms are situated with the view of the Andes in mind. The hot water does go hotter or colder when someone else in the room uses it but that's easy to deal with. The Santiago office needs to get proper directions to the hotel. When you enter San Pedro, take an immediate right and cross one stream!

Experiêncioa aquém do esperado.

Experiência razoável. Os quartos são muito simples. O banheiro é ruim, apertado. Chuveiro conta gotas! Não possui ar condicionado, e de dia faz muito calor. Impossível ficar no quarto. A piscina estava muito suja e gelada, não há como usar. Café da manhã muito simples.

Buena opción, difícil encontrar la ubicación

El hotel, es limpio, cómodo y ofrece un buen desayuno, lo único complicado es llegar porque hay que cruzar un río que no está en la ruta de Google Maps y que en esta época estaba seco, pero se crece según el clima. Una vez u icado el camino se hace mucho más fácil.

El hotel esta ok aun poquito caro por estar un poco rudimentario.
Las instalaciones quedan un poco básica pero no mal. La limpieza esta ok pero podría ser aun mas a fondo por detalle.
El internet debería ser mas potente. Esta ok que no lo tengamos en la habitaciones, al final estamos en el desierto pero en el lobby y restaurante deberían ser mas fuerte, se tarda mucho en cargar pequeñas cosas.
El personal esta amable y disponible.
El desayuno esta ok.

Fiquei hospedada por 5 dias no Hotel. Fui muito bem recebida, o quarto estava limpo e organizado. Minhas únicas observações são em relação ao café da manhã e internet:

Café da manhã: a maioria dos passeios saem antes do Hotel iniciar o café da manhã, portanto acho que deveriam se adequar aos horários dos passeios. Eles até fornecem alguns snacks, porém não como doces pela manhã, e, era o que forneciam;

Internet: sinal muito ruim nos quartos. Para conseguir utilizar um pouco melhor, tinha que ir até a recepção do hotel.

Bon hôtel en retrait du centre ville

Hôtel sympathique en retrait du centre ville (15 mins à pied). Lit confortable mais chambre minimaliste (pas de TV, pas de wifi, pas de sèche-cheveux dans la SDB). La wifi n'est accessible que dans la salle à manger et à la réception. Personnel très sympa. Petit déjeuner OK.

セントロから少し離れているので、静かでゆっくり過ごせる。また、夜の星空も綺麗に見えます

ただ、タクシーを呼んでもなかなか来ない、ほとんど英語が通じない、Wifiが部屋まで届かないので少し不便です

Hotel muito bom mas fica longe do centro e tem um rio que cruza a rua que dá acesso ao hotel. Impossível passar de moto. Tivemos de fazer caminho alternativo de mais de 10 km

Atendimento acima da média.

Hotel sem grandes luxos, mas muito adequado para a sua proposta e local. Além do café podíamos escolher almoço ou jantar, que era de muuito boa qualidade. Atendimento sempre prestativo da recepção, que sempre deu jeito de arrumar tudo o que foi solicitado com rapidez e cordialidade. Mesmo nos dias em que saíamos antes do horário do café da manhã, foi nos proporcionado um lanche para que levássemos quando saiamos do hotel. enfim boa localização, quartos adequados, restaurante bom, e atendimento acima da média.

O hotel é razoável para o padrão de San Pedro de Atacama, mas a localização é horrorosa. São apenas 2 km do centro, mas é difícil conseguir taxi.
Só serve para quem estiver de carro.

Boa opção para o deserto

Conforto razoável, porém do que eu vi no centro da cidade é ainda uma boa opção. Prepare as pernas para uma caminhada até o centro que leva uns 30 min, e pegar o pó da estrada. Lembre vc estará no deserto salgado. Então muito pó e muita água salgada é o que encontrarás. Compensado obviamente por uma beleza espetacular que valerá todo e qualquer sacrifício

Tranquilo e agradável

O Hotel Iorana Tolache está de acordo com a cidade de San Pedro do Atacama. Dificilmente vc encontrará na cidade algum hotel com ar condicionado, esse é mais um. A internet é muito ruim e o box do chuveiro um pouco apertado, mas o pessoal é muito atencioso, o senhor Victor da recepção principalmente. O chefe da cozinha faz os pratos com maestria, excelentes! As camas são bem confortáveis, o quarto é simples mas muito agradável e tem um ventilador. A vista do lugar é muito bonita. Para chegar ao centrinho de taxi são 3.000,00 pesos chilenos. Dá prá ir andando mas com o calor e poeira das estradas fica meio cansativo.Ficamos satisfeitos com esse hotel!

Estivemos no hotel por 4 dias. O hotel fica longe do centro, cerca de 20 minutos andando, no centro se encontram varios hostels mas não vi nenhum hotel. Durante o dia ok mas a noite não tem iluminação na rua então é preciso contratar uma caminhonete para levar até lá. Não tomamos café no hotel pois nossos passeios saiam de madrugada mas ofereciam uns snacks como café, sempre uma fruta, um suco e um biscoito. A agua quente deixou a desejar, não havia após as 22hs e estava muito frio. Em compensação a vista do céu a noite era espetacular.

Quando for ao Atacama de novo é lá que ficarei!

O Hotel é bom, não dá pra exigir demais, por causa do próprio deserto, da areia e do calor, mas é um dos mais bem estruturados da região, se for para o Atacama, fique nesse hotel, sem dúvida.
O atendimento é cordial, o pessoal muito simpático e você encontra uma colônia de brasileiros hospedados lá.

Hotel bom no Deserto do Atacama

Para aquela realidade era um dos melhorzinhos da cidade de San Pedro de Atacama. Porém , apesar de limpinho e com cama confortável , o banheiro cheirava esgoto ( aquele odor que volta nos encanamentos). Agora, o que era muito fraco era o café da manhã. Pelo preço da diária poderiam oferecer algo bem melhor!!! A decepção era exposta na expressão facial de todo hóspede ao chegar na mesa.
