Gratis Parken vor dem Hotel (limitiert) oder für €10 in der Tiefgarage
Völlig angemessene Unterkunft mit guter Anbindung.

Einziges Manko war die wohl defekte Steuerung der Heizung. Auch auf Stufe 1 lief die Heizung so stark, das man nachts zeitweise das Fenster öffnen musste, da viel zu warm. Das haben wir beim Techniker angemerkt.

Wir kommen gleichwohl bestimmt mal wieder.

This is a small gem, just about in the middle of town. Bus and train stations close by.
Fantastic restaurants in walking distances.
Quick access to Autobahn.
About 50 min from frankfurter flughafen.
Staff super nice. Breakfast is great, plenty to choose from.
Rooms are big, clean and have everything you need.
We will be back.

Nice room but no ac made it unbearable

The hotel was a bit further from the train station than we expected. The rooms had a good size, but the lack of air conditioning was really a downer. It was hot, and the windows faced towards the sun, making the room a true sweat box. The provided fan offered some reprieve, but I would not stay here again in the summer.

Wir haben unsere Reise in den Süden in Frankenthal unterbrochen und im Achat Hotel übernachtet. Es ist von der A61 in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und bietet saubere und komfortable Zimmer.
Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Bedienung freundlich. Der Kaffeeautomat an der Rezeption macht einen guten crema, haben wir geschätzt. Bitte meiner Frau: Raucherzimmer oder Zimmer mit Balkon anbieten.

I always stay at the Achat when I visit Frankenthal. It's ideally located near the town centre and in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. There's also a nice Italian restaurant right beside the hotel where we had dinner twice during our stay. This hotel is very reasonably priced and comfortable. All the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful so I can only recommend it.

An honest, basic, hotel. No frills, a little dated, but very clean, and standard of buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I had a single bed but the duvet was too small for it. Sparkling water bottle and champagne flute in room also a puzzle, especially as there was also a small kitchenette but with no crockery at all (I just wanted a glass / cup for some water!).

No Bar or restaurant at this hotel, so be aware that if you check in late, Frankenthal closes at 9pm. If you don't plan ahead, you may not get any food!

The hotel is relatively modern and clean, for the price it is acceptable. Air conditioning would make it a stand out in the area, this is not currently available in any hotel locally.
If you are travelling on a budget, this is probably the hotel to use.

Checked in late had no problems because I phoned in advance, i was so hungry luckily had some euros, crisp and chocolat, beer and soft drinks were available from the vending machine you can't get food from anywhere at late times. The hotel wasn't amazing but it was the cheapest one avaible and its value for money plus it's 15 minutes away from Mannheim centre.

If you are going to visit Worms area

This is a great place to stay. 5 minute walk to the train station. Then a 10 minute ride to Worms. The personnel were extremely friendly. And since I drove, they allowed me to keep my vehicle in their secured garage until I got back from my sight seeing time. They even recommended certain places they felt were ideal to visit. The neighborhood is really nice. 5 minutes and you are at one of their town gates. The price I thought was fantastic! Oh, and breakfast, you have many options, and it is a fairly formal setting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. The shower in my room was tiny, other than that, I could not complain of anything.

It was a place to sleep, but that is about it. The best part was the breakfast, which was included in the price. We were on the top floor and the bed was tucked under the slanting ceiling, so don't sit up too fast in bed! Clean and fairly comfortable. A good budget option.

We actually wanted a hotel in Heidelburg but the Hotels.com search result actually recommended me this hotel. I thought it wouldn't be much of a trouble but it was pretty far. Other than that everything was great! Loved the breakfast and the Italian restaurant beneath the hotel. Thank you!

Hot, noisy, room a little dirty.

Like many hotels I've seen in Germany, this one features a beautiful lobby. UNFORTUNATELY YOU DON'T SLEEP IN THE LOBBY!!!!!!! Pros: In downtown Wiesbaden. I received free coffee. Clean bed Cons: No A/C or fan. Carpet a little dirty. Open window to cool down = noisy street. Smells.... a little. Booger on the wall in my room. I wouldn't stay here again unless it was colder out and there was no where else to go. If it's above 70 find a park or a car to sleep in. Not the worst hotel I've stayed in but definitely in the top 5.

The receptionist speaks excellent English, and very accommodating. She allowed us to park the car in front of the hotel patio when there was no parking spaces left in the car park. The room space was good, not too tight. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was hot. The beds were comfortable and firm, although the pillows could have been a little firmer too. The price was very reasonable. Yes, I would recommend the hotel to anyone. The quietness and tranquility was superb, especially after our long drive from England.

A Nice Suburban Hotel in Frankenthal

ACHAT is a nice, comfortable hotel and is an especially good location for local residents to use. It is located in a residential area (mostly tall apartments surrounding it) and close to a Sparkasse bank. The hotel is not too close to Ludwigshafen and the directions to the city are not always so clear. The rooms are clean and the breakfast area in the basement is especially nice!

Achat Comfort Hotel Frankenthal i.d. Pfalz

I stayed at this hotel for a week and was happy with the service and the location. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the basic standard furnishings of a 3 star hotel. However, since without air conditioning it can get hot in the summertime and there's only a small plug-in fan to cool off I would recommend a room facing away from the noisy main street which gets all the sun during the day and heats up the room. According to hotel literature WiFi access is free of charge in the hotel lobby only and there's a charge for using it in the rooms, however, when asking the reception staff I was told WiFi was also free in the rooms so better check that out on arrival. Breakfast was simple buffet style, bacon, sausages, eggs, cheese, rolls and bread etc. nothing fancy but satisfying and the breakfast room was not overcrowded. The overall impression was good, solid accomodation within 5 mins walk to the town centre and easy access to nearby places of interest. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely go there again. Good value for money.

ACHAT Frankenthal_ a great hotel choice

We stay in alot of hotels because of our work and lifestyle which is difficult for me as I am very picky about my living environment. ACHAT in Frankenthal was not a dissappointment. First of all it is a very good value compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms are kept very clean by friendly staff that are very accomodating. They are also surprisingly comfortable and larger than most European hotel rooms. The hotel itself is modern and well maintained. The desk staff are friendly, helpful, wonderful people. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Ended up using a different hotel

I had to use a different Hotel than the one I booked on what I thought was with Hotels.com. I found out that there are two by the same name one within 10 miles of where the conference I was attending and another that was 30 miles away. I would not have intentionally booked something 30 miles away especially when the computer showed me options that were within 10 miles of the conference.

The Cornwall St Austell

This was a sudden weekend break and the hotel recommended by a friend as our usual one was full. It had only been opened 7 months so it was still very much on best behaviour. None of the staff appeared to be over 30 but they were all very efficient and intuitive. The hotel itself was a beautiful mix of old and new, with a large country house as the main reception rooms and the hotel rooms on 2 floors nestled into the hill behind it, connected by a corridor which also contained the actual reception. The rooms were sumptuous and faultless, the main house itself beautifully rebuilt and opened up, with a large fire roaring in the lounge, the smell of woodsmoke emanting through the building. The Infinity Pool and Gym were in a separate block to the far side of the hotel, again simply splendid. The Spa we didnt use, despite girlie bleating, I managed to cough and splutter my way through the price list. Breakfast was an excellent event but can be pricey if not inclusive. I fully recommend it.

Used this hotel based on other reviews as a stopover on our way back from Austria to UK. Took some finding and is in the middle of an industrial/urbanised region and is not very pre-possessing so doesn't stand out easily. Was perfectly adequate for the purpose we needed it but wouldn't want to use it for more than one night. No restaurant on site, only breakfast room - and breakfast was very expensive - 14 euros - at least we thought it was. The receptionist did recommend a good restaurant/bar nearby where we did have a nice meal. No english speaking channels on the TV - which some may view as a plus but we wanted to try and catch up on news. Overall an OK.

hotel okay for price but... extremely small parking lot. underground parking cost 5 euros per day. NOTE: DO NOT HAVE THE BREAKFAST... IT'S OVERPRICED AND VERY LIMITED IN QUALITY AND QUANITY. Arrived for breakfast 1hour after service began. Several item trays were empty. Asked for eggs and was told by server that they were all gone and their would be no more. I had an ugly accident in the bath tube ending up needing sutures in my chin.
There is an advertisement in the wall warning you to be careful from the slippery surface, but there is nothing in the floor stoping you from falling when the water starts to run. It might be my lack of extra caution, but it is not like I want to get hurt. Besides the staff didn’t help at all (the lady on the evening shift) she might was not rude but she wasn’t prepare for emergencies like this one.
And there is no alternative way to take a shower than the tube.
Other than that it was a good stay for the price, but I think they really have to do something better in the showers to prevent further or worst accidents.

Hadden een 3-persoonskamer (denk dat er ook een 4e bij paste) waar, tot onze verrassing, een keukentje bij zat. Perfect! Bed iets te zacht, maar dat is persoonlijk. Verder alles netjes en schoon. Prima hotel als je op doorreis bent. Afgesloten garage onder het hotel; top als je je bagage in de auto wil laten. Ontbijt was heerlijk, veel keus. In de avond aten we bij Zum Elefanten. Aanrader, wel even reserveren als je zeker wil zijn van een tafel.

Hotel ohne jeglichen Charme

Ich war zum Glück nur für eine Nacht da. Fürs reine Übernachten zweckmäßig, aber das ganze Ambiente lässt keine wohlwollende Atmosphäre entstehen. Spätestens wenn man das Frühstück zu sich nimmt im Untergeschoss, fühlt man sich alles andere als wohl. Das Frühstück war zwar relativ günstig, aber alles andere als empfehlenswert. Die Brötchen waren zwar sehr gut, aber kein Service, kein Besteck am Tisch, lauwarmer Fertigsaft, kaltes Rührei.
Gut ist die Tiefgarage, aber dafür sind die Zimmer und insbesondere das Bad sehr klein.
Also wer nur was zum reinen Übernachten sucht, der ist dort richtig, mehr aber auf keinen Fall.

I stayed at this Hotel because the bugetary hotels in Mannheim were nearly full. I liked a mini kitchen and a bath tub in my room. My room was faced with the main street, whose traffic did not disturb my sleep so much. On the other hand, I clearly heard the people talking and talking in front of the building, sometimes early morning or midnight and it was annoying. Preis Leistung passt nicht.

Das Zimmer hat eine tiefe Dachschräge, sodass man nur gebückt das Bett an der Schräge erreichen, bzw. Beim verlassen des Bettes sich den Kopf stößt Der Frühstückstaum befindet sich im Untergeschoss. Die Auswahl der Speisen war spartanisch.

Da die kostenlosen Parkplätze besetzt waren musste ich aufs Parkhaus ausweichen. Hier finde ich 10 € pro Nacht überteuert

Für Kurzaufenthalte gut geeignet.
Insgesamt war alles zufriedenstellend, bis auf die WLAN-Qualität, die leider das Gegenteil von stabil und schnell war.
